Experiencia fantástica: I had the best day ever Diving with the team and sharks/fish. The tuition was spot on and made me feel relaxed for when we went down under the surface.I can not recommend this experience enough so don't think twice just do it won't regret it. Thanks everyone who was there on the 7th August.

Experiencia positiva: Visited during the school holidays with our family of four, two adults, a 12-year-old, and a 5-month-old in a pram. We’re big fans of zoos and aquariums, and we thought this would be a great sensory experience for our newborn, which it was. He was fascinated by the movement and colours of the fish, and the tanks were well lit and easy for him to see. That said, I had my reservations when we arrived. From the outside, the building looked quite small, and I suspected we wouldn’t be inside for very long unfortunately, I was right. You could walk around the entire place in 10 minutes if you didn’t stop much. Considering the price, I found it quite steep for the size and variety on offer. While I’ve definitely been to better aquariums, I will say the tanks were clean and the fish appeared healthy and well cared for. The standout is a large showpiece tank, which is lovely, but during school holidays it gets very crowded and that does take away from the experience. Our baby enjoyed it, but our 12-year-old lost interest fairly quickly and was more excited about heading out to play mini golf, which I believe is included in the ticket price. Would I recommend it? Possibly – it’s not bad for a rainy day or a short outing, especially with very young children. But on a warm, sunny day, I think there are better ways to spend your time and money.

Experiencia fantástica: My son did the junior snorkel yesterday at 3.30pm. The team are fantastic and very knowledgeable. My Son was very nervous before going in and was soon put to ease when the instructor made him laugh a few times. Definitely worth it and would highly recommend this experience.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing and if you are goin i highly recommend the dive education, I loved it ,the staff were all really knowledgeable and helpful, I felt safe in there hands ,plus they are all cheerful and easy to talk to. The place is a welcome attraction to skegness.

Experiencia fantástica: Interesting aquatic collection with a good range of activities for children, including a colouring task where your creation is brought to life on a big screen. Dino exhibit was lovely with some animatronic dinosaurs. Cafe is better value than expected with a soft play area (up to 11yrs). Staff friendly and helpful, and we're able to talk to us about caring for their inhabitants. There is the opportunity to scuba with the sharks in their giant tank! We prebooked our tickets through a popular discount site and it was about half the standard price. (Must book the previous day to use this) Overall a lovely afternoon for the family (48, 40, 14 and 8)

Experiencia negativa: Very small sea life for the price. Very small selection of fish other than marine nothing else. Dino adventure walk is okay to say, the least but can clearly see it what used to be the modle village. The whole thing was done In under 30 minutes and cost a family of 5 over £70 for entry Plus photo. I'd advice going to the seal sanctuar.

Experiencia negativa: Lovely place, not cheap, but decent value. Our visit spoiled in the cafe. Staff refused to sell a small ice cream for one of 4 kids who missed out. Just refused to sell one. WHY?

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience. My son did the snorkelling with baby sharks experience and it was amazing. Very well organised and the instructor was engaging, funny and professional. With the tickets you get entry into the aquarium after. A really fantastic day!

Experiencia fantástica: My 13yr old daughter completed a shark dive this weekend. The information from the dive team was good. Communication with them has been brilliant. The pre-dive learning was clear and linked to the instructors talk given prior to the dive. The instructors were so friendly, both to her as the diver, but also myself as her (slightly nervous) adult. The actual dive took the divers' accompanying friends and family into consideration by ensuring there were plenty of photo opportunities. The sharks and rays don't seem that bothered by the divers and so remain aloof. The other fish in the tank are curious and gather round, swimming around the divers. The instructors were vigilant and constantly checked in with the divers and their air tanks. I felt reassured that they were keeping an eye on my daughter (and the others). I can't emphasize just how good this was. I highly recommend it. My daughter said, "it was great fun, I loved it and I felt safe." Thank you to everyone who looked after us on Saturday 28/6/25 at 9am. It was very much appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved the aquarium visit and the shark dive experience was excellent. It was absolutely 3 hours well spent. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the fish were great at photo bombing! (See photo.)

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing experience. Due to last min health change, had to swap dive for snorkelling and they were very accommodating. Had a beautiful time feeding some aquatic animals (small sharks and stingrays), made my day very special. Can’t wait to come back and do the real dive :).

Experiencia positiva: Quite expensive to enter and not much in there, just a big room in a circle shape, they had a good Dinosaur display outside with moving dinosaurs- good if you've good kids, coffee shop and cafe upstairs, it was ok, expensive for what it was but passed an hour and half including a cuppa

Experiencia negativa: avid sea life fan. so was very, very excited to be coming here today. and I really, really wish I could recommend this place, but I really can't. over in 10/15 mins, all tanks had the same fish in I swear, and my 3 year old wanted to leave even she was bored. absolutely scandalous for what it costs. who do I contact for a refund? I've never, ever left a bad review on anything before in my 33 years of existence but this place has taken the biscuit. complete waste of travelling and money. I got to the end in about 10 mins and was shocked when I saw the exit sign. I genuinely thought someone was having me on. lower your prices because especially in a cost of living crisis, this is a complete and utter scam.

Experiencia fantástica: We took my 14 year old, shark mad, daughter for the dive experience, and it was worth every penny! The Dive staff were fantastic, didn't patronise her, but explained everything in easy to understand terms which left her really confident to take on her first dive. For her, it was a truly magical experience - so much so, we have booked to go back in August. It gave my daughter the chance to experience something we didn't think possible without a costly trip abroad - I cannot recommend it enough. We then toured the aquarium which was fantastic, and any staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful.....a five star experience from beginning to end!

Experiencia negativa: I’m not quite sure why this has got such good reviews 1. 2 adults 1 teen 1 baby 1 5 year old £60 It took us less than 18 minutes to walk around It was boring the dinosaur part was very sad and very uninteresting for the kids the inside were a few cave type things but all in all ridiculous

Experiencia fantástica: We came for the Ranger experience today for my daughter and her cousin. Adon was amazing with the children! So knowledgable, calm and patient; such a lovely manner with them all and a fab experience for the children to take part in! We would highly recommend to all!

Experiencia negativa: Disappointed at the small size of the place, it doesn't feel good value for money. The fish are lovely as are the aquariums but it definitely doesn't compare to sea life.

And I would recommend coming here for beginners who want to try dive as well as for people who want to explore scuba diving as a one-off experience. Loved it

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter who is 13 did a shark dive here on the 27th May 2025. She absolutely loved it!! All the staff were so friendly, professional and patient. Everything was thoughroughly explained and nothing was rushed. Being able to watch her was brilliant; from the big window to round past the tunnel. There were plenty of opportunities to interact with her and take some great photos and videos of our own. We also ordered a video of her experience taken by the team in the water with her. This has just arrived and was really lovely to watch. It's a lovely memento of the experience. I would highly recommend a shark dive here, you won't be disappointed!

Experiencia positiva: The lady on the service desk was very friendly and then when entering was clean and very nice where the fish and arachnids were. We stopped at the cafe, I found the lady with glasses on the desk quite rude and abrupt. We carried on round to the dino area and then finishing in the gift shop, the lady in there was very friendly and nice.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our grandson for the snorkeling experience. The whole experience was well delivered and informative for all the children who were there. The instructor didn't rush the experience and gave everyone a chance to absorb and take in the whole thing. would highly recommend. The only negative would be that space can be quite limited for spectators.

We will definitely be recommending it to others. Josh was amazing: friendly, professional, funny and made us feel at ease and confident with exactly what we needed to do and he was reassuring throughout the entire experience. 10/10. Experiencia positiva: My children enjoyed the visit, however, the place is very small! We got a 50% off voucher with planet offers so for the price we paid it was okay but I would definitely not be happy to pay full price for it! The aquarium is well looked after, the dinosaur part was good to and they have a cafe upstairs which we didn’t use but it does have a soft play which is a nice touch for those with kids wanting to burn some energy! If you are looking to kill an hour or two then it’s worth a visit!

Experiencia negativa: Expensive for what it is. Displays and talks on micro plastics and their deleterious effects on the ocean, yet they have multiple machines selling cheap plastic kids toys that are likely to end up in landfill in no time.

Experiencia fantástica: Shark diving experience - just wow. My daughter and I did this as a birthday present for her 13th. From booking until getting out the water the whole experience was amazing. Lots of communication the whole way through and at the aquarium the staff were all super friendly and fun, very very professional and really looked after us. The experience itself was amazing but went way too quickly. The fish were beautiful, all very well cared for and people friendly too. The tanks are pretty heavy but once in the water obviously a lot lighter. Overall a great introduction to diving , thank you all so so much. Oh also for my husband as a photographer on the outside of the tank he also had a great time

Experiencia fantástica: Bought the Snorkeling experience for my granddaughters birthday. She loved it. Well worth the money. She wants to do the scuba dive next. The staff are fantastic and put the children at ease. The whole aquarium and dinosaur exhibit are a nice day out. We are regulars.

Experiencia fantástica: SHARK EDUCATIONAL DIVE I cannot stress how great the team and experience are. If there were 100 stars I would give them. My son bought me the shark dive experience as a present as I have always wanted to dive with sharks. I do have chronic health issues and needed to get medical clearance, but the team were so friendly, professional, and supportive. They made everything really clear and easy to understand and were fully supportive without being smothering. They made possible a dream I did not think I would ever be able to do.

Experiencia negativa: £46.50 for 2 adults / 1 child, walked around in 20 minutes. Absolute rubbish. Few smaller tanks & 1 larger tank. I also enquired about if they did tickets for disabled / carers… was told no. Most other attractions do.

Experiencia fantástica: Partner had a shark diving experience and he loved it, was a really great experience with the fish tanks being super clean and clear with lots of healthy fish. Enjoyed going around and doing the little quiz trail added an extra fun element and made you pay more attention to the signage around. Good afternoon out.

Experiencia fantástica: Did the shark educational dive on Thursday 15th May. What an incredible experience. The team were so supportive, helpful and friendly. Really great experience. I have not scuba dived before but the team made it less scary and fun. The fish/rays/sharks were amazing. Would thoroughly recommend. Will come back and do this again for sure

Experiencia fantástica: I did the shark dive with Aden. It was absolutely AWESOME from start to finish. The staff are all fantastic, knowledgeable, funny, are great at explaining everything, putting you at ease and making the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable. It was far better than I imagined and 100% recommend giving it a go. The fish were very inquisitive and up close & personal which was FABULOUS!! The entire aquarium is clean and well looked after. I want another go!!!

Overpriced for A 20 minute walk around , very little amount of tanks , a dinosaur outside area which is just a space filler it seems , it would be one star but it is clean and presentable , don't come here if you want to see fish and aquatic life , go find a bigger aquarium Honestly go to the seal sanctuary for cheaper and see better amount of animals , even a big koi pond

Experiencia fantástica: What a fantastic experience. Josh was the best host along with his colleagues who made me and my daughter feel very welcome. My daughter did the snorkelling in the morning and was offered the chance to join me on the afternoon dive experience. She had a moment of panic whilst in the water and returned to the surface due to being overwhelmed with the breathing situation and claustrophobia (pretty normal when first diving!)... The instructor reassured my daughter and help her keep calm. He asked if she wished to go back in and she did. We both had an incredible time and felt it changed our lives through overcoming 'the fear!'.... Thank you everyone for a brilliant day!

Experiencia negativa: Took my daughter to the aquarium on Good Friday, was very disappointed with the size..paid about £25 for both of us & was back out within an hour and that included looking, reading, pictures. I suppose if I had smaller children the dinosaur area and cafe would have meant we were there longer as something 'to do' for little ones in the play areas. No bigger than the aquarium you see at Alton Towers as a token aquarium. Quite disappointed really. If going book online for a discount & if a co-op member use the discount they give. Pleased we didn't pay full price.

Experiencia fantástica: My Two children Did the Dive with sharks and it was amazing! They said it was the best bit of their holiday! The two men who taught them where amazing and made the kids feel at ease! My kids have done the snorkel and dive with sharks 5STAR!

Experiencia negativa: Scandalous pricing if not getting an offer and even the offer pricing off discount sites doesn't justify the offering. Absolute rip-off. I get the 5 star reviews for the scuba dive experience if you've paid extra for that, but as a walk round, drop on the day fix .... Don't bother. Understaffed at entrance, expect a long wait, when there is a sign saying you will be ejected if you cause distress and disturbance aimed at staff at entry,... There's the red flags right there. Poor attraction, save your money and go to the seal sanctuary.

Experiencia fantástica: Our twin daughters recently attended the aquarium for the diving experience and they absolutely loved it. We were a little apprehensive as they are small for their age but the staff were fantastic and put us all at our ease ensuring that the girls knew exactly what to do and had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. We can highly recommend Skegness Aquarium.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a shark dive experience on 5.4.25 and it was an excellent day. extremely informative and well organised. Dive team were superb at passing on relevant information and keeping us safe. I felt comfortable at all stages of the event and would highly recommend this to anyone. Even without any previous skills in this, it would easily be possible to have manged this as the dive team were beyond helpful. Thank you for a great experience

Experiencia fantástica: Josh the instructor was amazing so calm and humourous at the right times my two chuldr n was at ease straight away and listened to his every word (to ish they'd listen to me like that) the sharks were all over there feet and was happy to be near them they saw so much and was over the moon. Experiencia fantástica: We booked the Swim with Sharks experience. It was an amazing experience for my 13 year old daughter. The training beforehand is easy to understand and very clear. The staff are lovely and make you feel at ease and take it step by step to build up your confidence. Even if you've never been scuba diving before it is so simple and safe.

Experiencia fantástica: Our DD did the snorkelling shark experience, absolutely fantastic!!, Josh was very knowledgeable and brilliant, explaining the different kinds of shark and their life/habitat. The aquarium itself is also worth a visit and good. Definitely would recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I did the Shark Education Dive for my 40th Birthday and it's one of the best experiences of my life. It was my 1st time diving at all and the team were so lovely, and couldnt have been more helpful. Its been a bucket list experience for me to swim with sharks, so getting so close to them and everything else was just magical. Even came home with a sharks tooth we found in the tank

Experiencia fantástica: Just back from a Diving with Sharks experience at Skegness Aquarium. I cannot praise the diving team highly enough. Never having dived before and being at the higher end of the age spectrum I was slightly concerned as to how I would cope with the equipment etc.. However, the instructors soon put me at ease and at no time did I feel my safety was compromised. The experience itself was brilliant, to be in the tank knowing the sharks were swimming just above your head and having all the other beautiful tropical fish swimming about you was amazing. Thanks to all for making this experience so memorable.

Experiencia fantástica: What an incredible day at Skegness aquarium on our scuba diving experience. Jamie and the team were friendly, knowledgeable and very supportive! The dive was well organised and I felt confident once in the tank despite some initial nerves! To be immersed with the fish was amazing and an experience I’ll never forget! It was great to be able to spend the rest of the day taking our time to look around the aquarium too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something different!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently visited the aquarium for our first ever dive adventure, and it was unreal, unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Our instructor Jamie was very knowledgeable and made us feel extremely safe throughout every part of the dive. I would highly recommend this to anyone! We had such a great time and thank you for having us.

Experiencia fantástica: We booked online and got a discount during the half term. Staff were friendly and helpful. The aquarium is small but our kids loved it. We would definitely visit again. The jurassic area was also great. We arrived just after opening and it was quite quiet too.

Experiencia positiva: My son attended the snorkelling with baby sharks. This is a really lovely activity. The instructor is knowledgeable and considerate to the needs of the members of the group. The activity is well organised and felt very very safe. Instructors encouraged and answered excellent questions. My only negative is regarding the video of the snorkelling experience. My son asked if we could purchase it for the memories and to share with his grandparents who had bought the experience. It was a waste because the camera was held at the wrong angle so you don't see them practicing their signals, or their excitement. The participants went through a process of waving at the camera and all that's on shot for the taller kids is their wetsuit. So don't be tempted to upsell on the merch, but do give the activity a try.

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderful experience . Another tick off the bucket list! Staff are knowledgeable and helpful catering for all age groups . The aquarium it self is well looked after with super healthy / cared for fish.

Experiencia fantástica: My 6 year old got a voucher for the snorkeling with sharks experience for Christmas. Booking was easy and we were able to get the day and time we wanted. The communication from the dive centre was excellent and we completed the e-learning and documentation with no issues which meant the actual day went very smoothly. The aquarium is quite small but has a great range of creatures. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits, finding there was an appropriate amount of information about the sea life and good signposts to more if you're interested

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience. The aquarium itself was amazing, we were there for over 3 hours looking at all the animals and could have stayed longer. The shark diving was incredible. 45 mins felt like 10. Great staff, all thoroughly explained and a truly mesmerising experience. Highly recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: We travelled from Southcoast to do the Shark diving experience for my Son 15, who was very nervous. The team in advance via email and telephone put our minds at rest he would be able to attempt this dive. So the 5 Hour drive was full of anticipation as we'd only seen a few videos online. On arrival the team suggested we explore the aquarium which we did and the aquarium is much better than anything we'd experienced in the UK before and Granny Shark suggested we view the tank from various locations and gave us a good insight of what to expect. The team made us all very welcome when it came to Dive time, answering a thousand and one questions from an excited teenager. Come dive time, they led the team into the water and reassured another anxious teenager who was having trouble with his mask it would all be ok. Into the water, they disappeared and felt confident my child was in safe hands. The dive was about 45 Mins long which was amazing value. The Instructor Jamie even went to the trouble of finding a shark tooth for my son to take home. Would I rate this as an experience YES 100% (wish I'd done it now also) Would I rate this value for money YES 100% Would I do this again YES 100% (will bring friends next time) Almost forgot the aquarium has a great cafe with reasonably priced food and drinks, a great treat for end of a great day.

Experiencia fantástica: Plenty of things for the children to see and do. Really enjoyed the aquarium, nice little cafe and play area upstairs (there is a lift as well). Spend a couple of hours here.

Experiencia fantástica: Shark dive experience was amazing. Then spent time just enjoying rest of aquarium. Recommend to go on weekday if possible; gives you time and space to sit and enjoy the exhibits and animals without the crowd.

What was originally planned didn’t go as expected, so this impromptu visit became the perfect backup – and honestly, it turned out to be even better than what we had originally imagined. The creativity, energy, and vibes were absolutely fantastic, and the attention to detail was spot-on. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my son, his brother, father, and their friend had an incredible, unforgettable experience. The educational component was thorough, and the safety checks made us feel completely at ease. Though I wasn’t able to attend personally, the footage I received was the cherry on top – capturing memories that will last forever. The creativity and professionalism of the whole experience were next level, and I’m so grateful to the team for everything they did that day. If you’re looking for a special treat or an unforgettable experience for an aquarium fanatic, I would 100% recommend this dive. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of adventure!

He was so knowledgeable and passionate about educating children into how to look after marine life. My 9 year old absolutely loved the experience of baby sharks swimming around his feet. Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely fantastic for little ones, interactive sandbox which my little girl loved, the dinosaurs outside were brilliant, we had to go around them twice! Good size for little legs, soft play and cafe upstairs forward drink and bite to eat, lovely place, came twice in 1 week, lovely gift shop too with a range of different toys not too expensive either and therplis plenty to choose from, will definitely visit again!

Experiencia fantástica: Lovely aquarium. I thinks it's been done very well with lovely tanks and interactive. Tou could walk it in an hour or 2 but make the most of the lunch and soft play too. Also the dinasaw area was a lovely suprise but not overly well signposted as I think you could easily miss it. We took our 2 3/4 year old and she loved it all. And more importantly was shattered and had a great nap on the way home.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing time doing the shark dive experience it was absolutely incredible. Instructors where very kind and knowledgeable and clearly explained the process and answered any questions we had.
