Experiencia negativa: Can someone please assist me in resolving this issue? I’m trying to find answers for my friend's concerns. She reached out to the owners of Bermuda Aquatics Exotic Fish & Ponds but hasn't received a satisfactory solution to the underlying problem. After reviewing the text exchanges between her and the gentleman, it became clear to both me and another individual that this situation is unacceptable. Sadly, some of her fish have died, and this specific tank is the only one that appears cloudy or dirty, even after it was professionally cleaned—out of the three she owns. My disabled friend purchased a “new” fish tank from this store, but it arrived broken, as shown in picture A. The tank was missing a lid and contained used parts. Additionally, play sand was added to this tank and another one my friend already owned, where some of her fish sadly died. She has spent around $800 (or more) for this broken, topless tank, the play sand, and a few other items, but after searching online, I couldn't find any justification for this high cost. Moreover, my partner (whom I had read over the messages for support) and I are quite shocked by the inconsistency and delays in communication from the sellers, Dylan and Angel. One crucial response took a month to arrive after they promised to follow up quickly, while other replies had gaps of a couple of weeks. Is this really acceptable? My friend has never asked for free equipment or products; she takes exceptional care of her animals and is genuinely grateful, gentle, and kind. Does this treatment seem like ethical business practice? I really need answers because it's heartbreaking to see her treated this way. I understand that providing assistance at her home requires time and effort, but it's essential for a business to communicate any additional costs, whether in writing or verbally. As for communication, it should be the bare minimum. Following through on promises is crucial in business. The way my friend has been treated is NOT acceptable. It simply isn’t.

They breed their own fish.So you know where the fish are coming from and that they're healthy. If you are used to prices at places like petsmart, then this place will be very expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Experiencia fantástica: Bermuda is hands down the best LFS in the area! Dylan has helped me with every step of our first freshwater tank and saltwater tank over the last year. They are a wealth of knowledge, Since day 1 they’ve answered all of my questions and are always patient and helpful with us. We have an autistic son that is obsessed with the shop , they treat him awesome even when he’s being a little crazy man lol! The only shop that quarantines their fish and If they don’t have what you’re looking for they can get it for you! Support them!

Experiencia fantástica: Always so helpful, whether you are a beginner or know what you're doing. They are my go to spot for aquatic plants, and have so many types and sizes. My gink tanks are stocked with plants from here and my next fish will likely come from here too.

Experiencia fantástica: Visited twice so far. First visit was to check pricing and gather information, and staff was very knowledgeable and happy to help. Second visit was to purchase fish once my tank was ready, fair pricing and once again staff was patient and helpful! Will be frequenting this store for my future fish needs!

Dylan and the team here are legends and heroes (yes you can be both) and on a Sunday, after hours, they came to save my fish Leo who had eaten a cory catfish and had been stabbed by the barbs and was choking on it. Dylan came over and saved him! All within 15 minutes! Bermuda is already a great fish store with good quality fish and a rad selection (All but 2 of my fish are from here) but they go above and beyond with regards to fish keeping. I don't ever feel like I am in a store trying to be sold, and instead it feels like a family run shop run by true fish people who really care about their fish and yours. I am really lucky to live 5 minutes away and if you're ever near Ventura this is definitely a place to check out!

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had our tank just over one year now, absolutely love it! The guys over at Bermuda Aquatics are really helpful and informative. Dylan put together our Tank for us, it’s absolutely perfect In our little shop, we’ve got fish and two frogs. I chose to have Bermuda aquatics install the tank, they taught us how to clean and care for it, and we have them service it every two months, all the fish and frogs are super healthy, beautiful and happy. Pop into Bermuda aquatics even just to look around, their space is super cool and peaceful

Experiencia fantástica: GO TO AQUARIUM STORE IN VENTURA.....Dylan (owner / operator) and his team have been awesome from the start!! I started a new job and inherited six fish....fish are not my choice of a pet. But since it was on the company's dime I decided to upgrade from a 10 gallon tank. Dylan walked me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and hooked me up with everything I needed for a new setup. Dylan came in and set up my tank and gave me his personal cell in case I had any questions or concerns.... He probably regrets giving me his number lol. That was 7 months ago. The first 3-4 months I was probably over communicating with Dylan and he remained patient. As my aquarium knowledge grew, I bothered him less and less. But I can still call him or whenever I stop by the store Dylan (and the team) treats me with the same service quality as day one. Now personal ownership of an aquarium has been a thought because of how Dylan made my initial experience very enjoyable.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the only place we shop for fish. I had a well established tank with fish I had for 9+ years, bought a fish from PetCo and didn't quarantine it, and I know better. That one fish wiped out y whole tank. It was devastating. Truly. So I will never purchase fish from any other supplier from now on. The guys at Bermuda are so cool. Super knowledgeable. Extremely fair prices. Beautiful varieties and sizes of salt and fresh water fish and supplies. Their show tanks are amazing. And their sale tanks have a fun variety of characters to bring home. And then there's Pascal. The pet chameleon who watches over the place. He's always chillin' on his branch. He's a cool dude. So to sum it all up, I highly recommend this shop for anybody who wants quality fish to add to or start your community of fish friends. I really love these guys.

The people here care for the animals they have and are extremely knowledgeable about how to care for them properly. They have a biologist on the team as well. I've had several questions that other stores can't answer but the biologist here was able to help me very easily.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best LFS in Ventura County. Angel, who gave us advice on how to setup a saltwater aquarium, was happy to show us the fish and looked like he genuinely cared about the livestock, which I haven’t seen at the neighboring Xtreme Marine. I recommend that you go here.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best fish store in the 805. Not only do these guys know what they’re doing but they actually care about you and your fish. I’ve learned a lot since I’ve came in here and they got both of my tanks perfect. They even designed my salt water tank to take home with me. If you want to get into the fish community stop by here and they will work with you with whatever style/size you need.

The also had a room of derations such as drift wood, dragon rocks, and supplies. The prices were great and better than the neighboring Extreme Marine. I will recommend this fish shop!

Experiencia fantástica: Incredibly knowledgeable men helped us today. I didn't catch their names but they both wore glasses. One showed me multiple different fish for fun...I think and explained the evolution of the different markings on clownfish. The other talked about cichlids and bettas and helped us with a plant purchase. Seriously passionate aquarists!

Cool and friendly knowledgeable staff, and amazing lay out. So many beautiful tanks..Highly recommend checking this place out for all the fish lovers. Loved the pond with waterfall and they were gonna be starting some add ons, can't wait to check it out again when we go back down. Great job guys and thank you for your great customer service

Spoke with one of the owners and they legitimately care for their fish, are extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store, from different tanks water parameters to various products they carry. For the first time in Ventura, it’s nice to have an aquarium shop that you can actually tell cares about their animals. Fish were bright, colorful, and thriving. Love how all tanks run on their own filter system, preventing any transfer of bacteria or sickness into every other aquarium. Prices are super fair and if you ask nicely, they might even make you deal here and there. I’ll definitely shop here from now on. Thanks guys
