Experiencia fantástica: Nice, clean coral and the pricing you can get through the auctions and online flash sales are pretty much the best you can get. The price to quality ratio is almost unbelievable. Other shops charge twice as much for smaller frags with the plugs covered in algae. If I had one area of improvement it would be to have labels and pricing on the coral in the store because it would really help relative newbies who are learning to identify types and understand pricing.

Experiencia fantástica: This store is insane! It is extremely nice! Salt water fish, snails, shrimp, urchins, annemonies etc. Crazy selection of corals here. From tiny baby ones to big ones. They also carry now freshwater fish, snails and plants. Plenty of fresh and salt water supplies and food. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you haven't.

He helped us set up our first tank. Once we get the hang of this saltwater aquarium, we will be definitely upgrading or setup a second one. Highly recommend the place. Experiencia fantástica: The coral-vault is a step above. Their corals are gorgeous, and their tanks are meticulously maintained! I always dip my corals, but am yet to find any pests or hitchhikers on their products. Their auctions are fun and addicting, and if you’re patient you can score some real wins! They’ve let me borrow their PAR sensor, so that I was able to tune my lights in my tank to make sure that my corals get the right amount of light. Seriously, these are the guys you want to buy from.

Experiencia positiva: Being new to the saltwater hobby, and this place being the closest saltwater store to my home I drove over. Really just expecting to look at the cool corals and fish. I asked an employee, Drew, a dumb question or two about how to get started etc. He took the time to sit down with me and explain every single question I had and more. We probably spent an hour just going over every little detail of what my new aquarium was going to be like and how to get to where I wanted to be. Drew never made a sale, or even pushed any products on to me. He honestly just wanted to help in any way he could, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Will definitely be back to see Drew, and get more advice and hopefully get him and the business some sales. Exceptional variety of corals, fish and everything in between. I just wish they were open for longer and on more days.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best customer service I have ever experienced in the industry. Tyler was very communicative and work amazingly around the heat wave that swept over Texas. He was very receptive to my needs around shipping and had no complaints about holding corals for better shipping weather. The coral by far came in very healthy and opened up in less than an hour from adding them. I did a dip and inspection the frags prior to adding them to my tank and I found zero pests in the dip water or on the frags. Great work Coral-Vault crew!!!!! Experiencia fantástica: I have been in the hobby for over 30 years. Moved to Texas from Hawaii and decided to start another tank so checked out several shops within a 30 mile radius. This shop has the healthiest looking corals and fish that I have seen in Texas so far. I have purchased both fish and corals and they all are thriving. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Experiencia negativa: Purchased a tank from Tyler who owns Coral-Vault and things didn't work out as I hoped it would. Planet Aquariums gave Coral-Vault a refund for the tank that was sent to me, and I have been waiting over a month for the refund to make it to me from Coral-Vault. It sure seems that the business account being used to refund me through Paypal from Coral-Vault is purposefully being left empty so refund bounces. Seems sketchy that funds can't just be sent to me vs pending refunds for over a month. Edit after response: After the first refund bounced, you refused to send funds directly to me in order to finalize the issue for "accounting purposes." If that is the case, its easy enough at tax time to put in costs so you aren't taxed on monies refunded. You could have loaded your Paypal account with the funds in order for a refund to process, but you did not do that either. Second refund bounced this morning and was auto cancelled after I patiently waited another two weeks. Its been a month and you still have the funds. It's in Paypal case review. No need for a phone call unless its for you to tell me you're sending me funds directly so that I am not waiting in refund limbo with Paypal.
