Rad Aquatics never responded to any emails or texts, nor issued a refund, and I never received the item. What a horrible company, stay far away! SCAM! Avoid this place at all costs. Put in an order for an aquarium stand to ship to the USA. Shahab told me it would be 4-8 weeks until it is delivered. It is now week 9 after placing the order and I haven’t heard anything in 2 weeks after emailing and messaging them a dozen times. No shipping update, no reason for delay, etc. I’m assuming that the aquarium stand never shipped. Most uncommunicative and poorly run business I’ve ever dealt with. Now will be issuing a chargeback since they refuse to respond to any messages about a refund. Truly pathetic

Experiencia negativa: I ordered CO2 Art check valve and UNS Pro Dual Stage CO2 Regulator on February 20, 2025 and they only shipped the CO2 ART Check Valve, arrived on March 31, 2025 and i’m still waiting for the UNS Regulator now, I don’t understand why they said that the status of my order is FULFILLED even though they only shipped the CO2 ART Check Valve. I emailed them, they don’t even respond and I called them on messenger but they don’t answer the call and they only seen my messages. This is frustrating and this business is a scam.

Unless you walk out of the store with your aquarium and supplies in hand, don't expect to receive any part of your order without crazy stories, long delays, excuses, and now Shahab still owes me like $700 in refund and he won't reply or send the money. Bad actor! He failed to deliver the aquarium and stand I ordered and paid for after like 12 weeks and tons of stories. Finally he sent some of the minor supplies, but even then he had to exchange stuff (like the CO2 regulator and tank) for equivalents that I didn't order, or for smaller sizes, etc... In fairness, the supplies he did send appear to be in good condition, but I can't use them cause I don't have an aquarium I'm still out hundreds of dollars, and lost like 3 months and tons of time dealing with this guy. Too bad, cause he seemed like a good guy.

The set was delivered almost a month after but not the “gift”. I wanted to cancel the order but in the middle of it but threatened me to charge stocking fee for an undelivered item. I constantly asked for an update for the gift but was told it was going to be shipped at the end of January. He rudely replied that if I wanted it to be shipped out, I’m more than welcome to make a purchase. Wow! And to think ai recommended them to a friend and now his aquarium until has not been shipped to him. No reply, doesn't pick up phone calls. What a scammer Replying to your message: Wow dear owner! I’m surprised you are replied here after a bad review. You have ghosted me for 2 months. I know you are not sending that unreasonable “gift” you were talking about. Now i can just purchase from somewhere else. Buyers beware. Karma is a b!+ch.

Experiencia negativa: This merchant is completely untrustworthy. I ordered a UNS tank and stand from him in November 2024. The promised delivery was within 4 weeks. In December 2024 I spoke with him several times and was advised there were delays at the border. After a long and drawn out process, I finally contacted UNS directly and confirmed the order was received but NEVER PAID FOR BY RAD AQUATICS. I disputed the transaction with my credit card company, and he is still fighting the charge. Keep in mind, I never received the tank and stand I initially paid for. Avoid this unprofessional business at all costs. Don't listen to the false positive reviews. He is a scammer.

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE Feb 2025: Recently purchased 2 tanks online in December, and never received it. Tried to contact them via emails was told there would be a delay, in Jan. Waited a month and contact them again to try to get a status, was promised a status updated by end of day. Never got a status update, and have not receive any communication from them since. Tried calling them to get this resolved and left a voice memo. Not sure what happen, but I would not recommend RAD anymore. Unfortunately for me, there’s no local fish store that carries UNS or ADA tanks. The UNS 45U arrive in perfect condition, and very well packaged. Definitely will purchase another tank with Rad.

When I asked how he could make it right, he rudely interrupted me saying sarcastically "that's what you get for buying online" then accused me of wanting free stuff. All I wanted was understanding and a replacement sent. Stay away from this seller & his affiliate, ColoradoAquariums.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible service! Showed up 15 minutes prior to closing and Rad was extremely helpful. Stayed 20 minutes past closing to help me out and figure everything out with my build. Great prices on high end tanks, equipment, and by far the best prices on driftwood anywhere locally. Would HIGHLY recommend this shop to everyone!

I purchased a tank payed for shipping two weeks and they tell me they are still trying to figure out best shipping method. I ended up driving five hours to pick it up and waited hours for store to open after they knew I was coming. Call it dishonest at best. I believe 5 start reviews are false or fraud. Never met Shab or have even seen the guys name. I’d avoid at at cost. Also didn’t get part of my order. (Store front in photo below. How do u randomly walk in there..)

Experiencia negativa: It's probably a great shop but don't buy online from them. Their website inventory is not accurate, some items show as in stock but aren't. The seller won't reach out so you'll have to try te reach them yourself. I tried their email, through the shop app and finally got an answer through messenger but ONLY while the physical store is opened. The seller proceeded to offer a me a gift with my next purchase for the trouble which was nice, but things soured after... We agreed on cancelling the initial order. The seller cancelled it instantly but somehow it didn't complete, and now, the seller is ghosting me. I had to initiate a charge back through my credit card. Hopefully, I'll get my money back. This was not a cheap purchase. This was a very frustrating experience. I don't recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: Awkwardly stumbled through the door on a whim without realizing they primarily do wholesale. They don't have a full retail setup yet, but the staff member was more than accommodating and helped me browse anyways! Their inventory is impressive and well curated, and you can tell from a glance how passionate they are about everything they do. I finally have a perfect source for naturalistic aquascaping materials within walking distance, and will be back after the holidays for sure!

Experiencia negativa: I bought a light from them however when I checked on the light at home it did not have the exact same description as it did on all the other websites that I’ve seen it (missing logo). Additionally I’ve seen the light being used by other fish YouTubers and they have the logo on their light as well which was the main reason I bought it. Although I did get a refund, it was only after lots of condescending remarks from the owner. Among many things the one that stuck with me was “real aquascapers do not care about the logos.” If you are offering something it should match the description, if not then don’t sell it and have better customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Do not buy from them. Very condescending and unfriendly. First I ordered the DOOA wabi-kusa most from them online and drove down when they said it was ready for pick up. When I got there he said they only have 1 and told me to go find it on the shelf myself. When I looked at it, the bottle was clearly old stock and has been used before since it was missing the plastic lid that goes over the spraying mechanism. I mentioned this to him and he told me “this is the only one we have, either you want it or you don’t want it.” Not friendly and why offer a used product at all if it doesn’t match the description online?

Aquascaping products are often not easy to find “off the shelf” in this industry; especially the premium ADA, or CO2art type stuff. Amazon knock-offs aren’t worth it when you have Radaquatics around. Experiencia negativa: I purchased a UNS 90L tank and the corresponding UNS 90L stand on June 15th this year. Shahab informed me that the order would take approximately 3-4 weeks to arrive, with an expected delivery during the week of July 1st to 5th. However, when I followed up with him during that week, I was informed that the delivery would now be delayed until July 15th-19th, though the UNS 90L stand had arrived. When I went to pick up the stand, the showroom was dimly lit, and there was a 90LA tank displayed on it. Initially, I didn't think much of it. Upon examining the stand indoors, it seemed to be in good condition. However, when I inspected it more closely at home, I noticed numerous scratches and marks that indicated the stand was not "brand new" and appeared used (see attached photos). I reached out to Shahab about this issue, and he responded by saying, "The stand was not used; it’s a brand new stand that you picked up. We don’t care about the small scratches inside as every single one of them has it. We also asked you to check everything before you took it, and you said it was in good condition." Later that day, I found the exact same stand with the 90LA tank on it listed on Facebook Marketplace in the same location where I had picked it up (see attached photo). Although I’m unsure when the listing was posted, the description mentioned that the promotion would end on March 31st, 2024. It became apparent that the tank Shahab claimed to have ordered for me was never actually ordered and was, in fact, a display model. This raises concerns about why I was told the stand was brand new and why I had to wait 3-4 weeks for it to "arrive" when it was already in the store. The UNS 90L tank finally arrived on July 24th, significantly later than initially promised. Fortunately, this tank was genuinely brand new, and Shahab provided a small gift as compensation for the delay at the border, which I appreciate. As of August 23rd, I am satisfied with the tank, but I am disappointed with the lengthy and frustrating process I had to endure.

When UNS mixed up the order he stepped up to offer me a replacement tank from another brand as well as upgrading some other parts of my order for the trouble! I couldn't be happier honestly. Be aware the shop is a little hard to find, and all orders must be completed through the website, but be ready for top notch customer service.

Experiencia negativa: It was my first time placing an online order with Rad and it would be my last. Let me tell you why. I had ordered 2 DOOA tanks,substrate and a fewer smaller items online. The first shipment went out without 1 DOOA Neo air glass not in the shipment(which I was aware of,because it specified that on the shipping label) I just had figured the other DOOA it wouldn't fit in the first box along with everything else on top of what had been ordered so they would send it separately. A week went by and the first order showed up. BUT the same morning I had gotten an email saying they are doing a refund on the other DOOA Neo air. For reasons I don't know why,maybe they sold out, I don't know). It was during Christmas time,boxing day sale. I had a prepaid Visa card that I had used to purchase these items that I got from Christmas. After a week or so after spending the visa card I couldn't find it(either it got thrown out or missed placed,doesn't matter) So I contacted Rad right away explaining the situation the same day as the email came in.(how I couldn't find the card) I has asked them if the following could happen. 1) cancel that refund and give a store credit 2) see if they can refund it to another CC instead. Bottom line they just said.. NO. We can't do anything for you. IF it were my business. I would of contacted the customer explaining that they were sold out(even up date the website) or even ask if they would like something else equal in value before just doing a refund (also they lose out in business by simply doing just a refund) I would of gladly taken something else or even a store credit for the next order.I get it that I lost the card(my fault) But of they had GOOD customer service they would of reached out to the customer first then simply doing a refund last min. Now I'm out of $100 for no reason!! That's the customer service you'll get here. even my Toronto friends warned me ahead of time about Rad. I can now say I truly understand.
