La guide était très à l’aise et compétente pour répondre aux questions. Elle prenait le temps de montrer les différentes parties de l’anatomie du homard. Mes enfants et moi-même avons appris beaucoup de choses! Nous avons adoré notre visite et nous la recommandons!

Experiencia fantástica: We didn’t plan on coming here, but we stopped in to use the washroom on our way into Shediac. I had no idea what it was, but not only did we get some information about what was happening that day in shediac, we found out there was an interactive tour to learn about lobsters. WOW - I knew nothing about lobsters when I started. It was such an interesting tour. Well worth the time and fee to access. There’s also a touch tank at the end, and who doesn’t love a touch tank!

Experiencia fantástica: A cool experience for kids and myself honestly. We learned about lobsters and you get to see them in all colours! They had a blue one! There are guided tours which are quick - Yannick was cool with the kids so that was awesome. Cool activity definitely worth the time.

Experiencia negativa: Ehh, can't enter the museum without a tour time. Seems like it's just to pad out the runtime because there's really only 2 1/2 exhibits and the touch tank. Fun little place, not worth the money

Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed this tour. Learned many things about lobsters I didn't know. Our group consisted of ages between 7 and 67 and we all enjoyed it immensely. The guides know so much and what they didn't know, they went to find out! We are from Shediac and it's great to learn so much about our lobsters! Highly recommend for any age. We spent atleast an hour here.

Experiencia positiva: Un centre d'interprétation sur le homard dont les installations sont visiblement très récentes. C'est propre, bien aménagé et la visite est très instructive. Quelques boutiques souvenirs sur le site sont remplies de souvenirs mais aussi d'œuvres d'artisans et artistes locaux. Ça mérite une visite quand on passe à Shédiac.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great place to visit! The guides are knowledgeable and informative and the exhibit is well designed. I wish that we'd been able to explore the exhibit itself on our own a little more. The highlight was the 'petting' pool where you could touch and pick up different sea creatures. Don't forget to explore outside too! Tip - you can reserve your tickets on the phone in advance. I'd highly recommend doing this!

Experiencia fantástica: Coup de coeur de Shédiac! Ça fait à peine deux semaines que le nouveau centre Homarus a été inauguré, et franchement ça vaut la peine. La visite dure environ 1 heure mais, ce que j ai aimé le plus c'est qu'il y a une partie de la visite qui nous est expliqué par un guide.

Experiencia fantástica: 2e visite, 1erer dans le nouveau complexe fraîchement ouvert depuis 1 semaine. Très bel endroit. Bel accueil. On nous explique tout sur le homard de la ponte jusqu'à la pêche. Alexandre notre guide, nous a beaucoup appris il était à l'écoute et se fesait un plaisir de répondre à nos questions. Il y a un bassin et on peut aussi prendre des escargots, des étoiles de mer, toucher aux homards. Des petits films accompagnent les explications. Je conseille autant aux adultes qu'aux enfants.

Experiencia positiva: Nice Little But Unique (Eco-friendly) Attraction Our 2 families happened to drop by to attend the last tour during our Maritimes trip back in Aug 2019. It was a great learning experience about the region, the lobster nursery, seeing these creatures from various stages of development. The young lady that gave us the tour did an excellent job despite her difficulties expressing herself in English. The premises was bit small but offered a unique display that I never experienced. Merci.

Experiencia fantástica: Cette écocentre sur le homard est un incontournable selon moi. La visite qui dure 20 minutes et très intéressante et j'ai appris beaucoup sur le homard que j'aime tant déguster dans mon assiette. Vous verrez tous les spécimens que j'ai photographié dans le homard bleu et un homard albinos. Autant les enfants que les grands apprécieront ce 20 minutes passées avec des spécialistes en la matière.

Experiencia positiva: Belle visite où nous avons appris plusieurs choses sur le homard. La guide connaissait bien le sujet et nous a montré des beaux spécimens. J'enlève une étoile car j'ai trouvé le prix total de la visite un peu cher. Le quai où se trouve le centre est aussi un belle endroit pour se promener, manger et magasiner un peu. Le gros homard de Shediac est tout près donc ça vaut la peine de visiter ces deux endroits en une même visite. À noter que le stationnement pour accéder au site coûte 3$.
