London Aquariums, the shop in North London (not The London Aquarium, on the South Bank, that many reviewers are mistaking this review page for!) is the best place to go if you're looking to have an amazing aquarium installed in your house or office. You can tell from the first time you meet George (the owner) that fish has been his passion since a teenager. He is so enthusiastic about fish he will talk incessantly about any aspect of tropical fish-keeping that you may wish to know. They are a one-stop shop and initially guided me patiently though all viable options (I am very particular!). His colleague Ben is also an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to fish keeping! My family now have the most beautiful tropical fish tank in our breakfast room at home, which is the focal point, both visually and conversationally, when guests first see it. I am currently maintaining it myself, in part, due to the generous time George spent explaining every aspect of maintenance to me. They offer very competitive maintenance contracts, in addition, only if you wish. Their costs are reasonable, their expertise unparalleled, and their attention to detail very reassuring. Even their aftersales service (when I have contacted them subsequently simply for adhoc advice or help) is very forthcoming and obliging. Anyone who wants their dream aquarium to come to life should look no further! These guys are great :)

George showed his dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism from the first day when I approached him after found his information online as his location is closest to me. I have longed for an large and see through (which you can look from both sides of the wall) aquarium when I was a kid, George and his team simply helped me to make my dream come true! It is a one stop shop - from developing an idea to put it on a drawing, then to have it specially made and arrived a couple of weeks later; next to have it carefully installed and set up with all other bits and pieces, finally fishes moved into their new house - the process was smooth and we were able to tackle any hiccups. Now this new addition has become such a focal point in the sitting room, people would simply say “wow! I love the fish tank!” when they stepped into into the room. George patiently answered many questions asked by my daughter when she was choosing the fishes. I am sure his business will grow bigger and stronger with his honesty and personality - after all business comes second and but to win the customer’s trust comes first. Thank you George and Ben!
