Experiencia fantástica: Initially weren't very hyped up about it, mom was disappointed, but the further we go in the better the experience is!!! We had loads of fun! Baby loved it! The hands on experience in the beginning was great too! They saved the best for last, I won't spoil it for people looking for this review but it only gets better!! Also the shop had very cute souvenirs!

Experiencia fantástica: Depends on what your looking for I went with a group. For me when you've been to a sealife you've been to one unless your really into sealife. Did have some good areas and was the better of the ones iv been to before (Scarborough/lake district)

Experiencia negativa: I expected more from this experience. There are one or two interesting sights and then the rest is dull. It simply doesn't last long enough either. Before we knew it we were out the door and back in the street. I have had much better aquarium experiences elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience, the shark talk was very good, my seven yr old enjoyed the whole experience. And there's no time limit, as long as you don't leave tge aquarium you can spend as long as you like revisiting areas.

Experiencia positiva: Visited with 3 teens and my mother while on a recent trip to blackpool. Not the biggest sea life centre we've been to, however lots to see and keep younger kids intrested. The sea turtels were our highlight, we spent ages sat on a bench watching them. Recomend buying tickets in advance online that way you avoid any queue along with booking at an off peak time.

Experiencia fantástica: We visited the Sealife Centre Blackpool today and it was a pleasure to see all the things we did. The kids enjoyed it which was the main thing. Definitely good for someone with anxiety and panic disorder as it has a relaxing atmosphere although it was incredibly busy it was still enjoyable

Experiencia positiva: Took approximately 45mins-1hr to walk around, very crowded as was school summer holidays, decided to go as had the attraction pass but wouldn’t have chose to go otherwise. Large range sea life and well displayed. My daughter enjoyed the attraction.

Experiencia fantástica: I actually cant fault it. I was skeptical but was surprised to see well labeled tanks with a couple of guides who seemed knowledgeable or at least did a good script. There was elements of consideration for the animals wellbeing. I don't know how these types of places compare on the genuine welfare scale. The route was reasonably well laid out with freedom to break off the beaten path as needed as it were. Toilets were clean. Snack bar cafe which wasn't great but ticked the boxes. My 8 year old did the VR tour at the end and was happy but I don't know the content of that. The price was proportionate with the area but not bank breaking. Was really good.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is incredible I almost cried there’s stingrays and sharks going over my head and the most beautiful titles I’ve ever seen! It was truly an experience like no other breathtaking and we booked as part of the 8 attractions which for 3 of us was £140 and we loved it we had the best time the kids was just so so happy The staff was so good too so kind so helpful just an Amazing experience

Experiencia positiva: Only paid £10 a ticket and honestly they shouldn’t be any more than that,had some good fish in there but honestly it’s all done in 45 mins max,no turtles to touch which I read there was,no real talks from the staff,do not pay full price to go in there

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent visit with our baby. Staff all very pleasant and informative. Highly recommend. The only downside - The toilet situation is a shambles for families with prams or wheelchair users. More accessible toilets are definitely needed.

Experiencia positiva: We had a great time visiting the aquarium — it's a must-visit, especially for families with children. The exhibits were informative and engaging, with plenty to keep kids interested and learning. The layout is clear and easy to follow, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One downside was that the lift wasn't working, which made it difficult to move around with a buggy. Hopefully, this gets fixed soon, as it would really improve accessibility. Overall, a fun and educational experience for all ages!

Experiencia fantástica: We come today Sunday 8th June n we did the 10.30 feeding of the turtles which was a treat for my sons 13th birthday, we really enjoyed it the gentleman that did it with us (sorry can't remember his name) was really lovely and so were the rest of the staff we come in to contact with n another treat we got given off the young lady on the little pool at the beginning was a golden ticket for the simulation experience thank you so much for a lovely visit.

Experiencia fantástica: This was a magical, family friendly experience. As an animal lover, I was really looking forward to our visit to the Sea Life Centre, and it didn’t disappoint. I went with my partner, our 12-year-old son, and our 12 week old baby, and it ended up being a fantastic experience for all of us. Despite a fair bit of walking, the layout is manageable, and there are plenty of interactive moments that kept our 12 year old fully engaged. From information points to hands-on activities, he always had something to get involved with. Surprisingly, even our baby was captivated by the lights, colours, and slow, gliding fish made for a truly wonderful sensory experience. It’s a memory we’ll always cherish. The exhibits themselves are very well done. This isn’t just rows of small tanks. There are some seriously impressive displays, including a large, calming seating area where you can relax and take in the sight of enormous fish swimming by. It's a great place to pause and soak it all in. We also loved the touch pool area, where children (and curious adults) can gently interact with starfish. Everything looked incredibly clean and well maintained, and the animals appeared healthy and well cared for, something that's really important to me and my partner. We had hoped to make the visit extra special by booking the shark and turtle snorkelling experience for our son (around £140), but unfortunately, it was fully booked on the day. If that’s something you’re interested in, I’d highly recommend booking in advance. One tip: booking your tickets online in advance is cheaper than paying on the door. Also, if you've visited Madame Tussauds beforehand and bought any photos, you'll receive a £5 discount for Sea Life Centre purchases, which is a nice little bonus. All in all, it was a brilliant day out for the whole family. Highly recommended, especially if you’ve got kids of different ages – there’s something for everyone.

Experiencia positiva: Beautiful place, not very big but worth seeing. It's hard to move around with a baby stroller, but a good place for people of all ages. Many types of fish and other underwater creatures. The minus may be the price. At the beginning you get a map that is easy on the eye and easy to read. A place adapted to people with disabilities, moving in wheelchairs, but when there are a lot of people it may be difficult.

Experiencia positiva: Had a lovely hour. My only feedback was it was overwhelmingly loud. There was 'relaxing' music playing constantly, all the way round. I asked two members of staff if it needed to be so loud, one agreed it was too loud and apologised saying they had no control over volume. Ambience isn't created by subjecting visitors to unnecessary volumes of sound.

Experiencia positiva: Great day at SeaLife today, a brilliant option for a rainy day adventure - and I think a lot of people had the same idea because it was really busy! But still lots of fun. The gifts shop is sooooo expensive though, so be prepared for a quick run through there with the kids if you don't want to spend a lot of money

Experiencia fantástica: Loved the huge underground water tunnel as well as the seating area where you can sit and go watch the sealife creatures swim past. It was like live cinema lol. Saw the giant eel stretch amd it eas beautiful. The Vr experience at the end was amazing. Was nice to see how different it was to Birmingham sealife.

Experiencia positiva: Great place to visit, kids loved it, some absolutely amazing sealife on display! Only downside was that it was a bit cramped and overcrowded, meaning that people had to keep moving, in order not to cause a jam. Also worth mentioning, the lift was out of order today, making it difficult for kids in prams (we had to carry our pram+baby up two flights of stairs) Pretty much inaccessible for wheelchair users.

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant Sunday afternoon. All the fish were fascinating and really beautiful to see. The staff were all very nice, and professional too. Whilst they were feeding the fish some splashed onto my daughter's arm and my granddaughters hair. They washed themselves down and thought nothing else of it. Some time later, a member of staff appeared and asked if it was us that had been accidentally splashed earlier, they asked if we would like to help feed the turtles as way of apology. There really was no apology needed as it was such a small thing...but my daughter and granddaughter were absolutely chuffed to bits and really enjoyed feeding the turtles. What a lovely, considerate gesture. Thank you Sea life staff for truly looking after my family and making our experience with you a really happy one.

Experiencia positiva: It was surprisingly good, they had a room where there was a massive tank with a turtle the size of a small car called Noah and sharks. Lifts were not working so was abit of a shame however person at reception offered to help us (we declined the help as I could lift it since I bench 110kg).

Experiencia fantástica: I’d say it’s definitely worth the trip and smooth process when you purchase tickets in advance, upon arrival our tickets were scanned , given a map and enjoyed the walk through. My son was fascinated and the water features, lighting, even had live speakers talking about the different species and facts. Perfect for little explorers interested in Marine life.

Experiencia fantástica: Really lovely Sea Life in Blackpool. Ideally situated on the front & easily accessible by public transport. All sea creatures kept beautifully, lots to see. Probably the best underwater tunnel I have seen. The highlight at the end was the amazing viewing window and listening to a talk from Adam who shared lots of information about the animals & the Sea Life centre.

Experiencia positiva: We booked this along with the Blackpool tower experience and have to say we all really enjoyed it. (Family of 4) It was a wet rainy day so thought it would be heaving, it was busy but not too crowded. There was a little Easter trail also to keep us busy, with a little treat at the end. Lots of fish to see. We could touch the starfish in the interactive tank which the kids enjoyed. And we also managed to watch the sharks being fed. It was a great couple of hours out and would recommend.

I met the famous Josef who did not disappoint- he was friendly, welcoming and so knowledgeable. He literally made me feel like we had been friends for years. And you can tell he is super passionate about his job and the fish. I absolutely loved the decor, and that some tanks had wave motion included. I have such a busy weekend and found my calm beautiful tanks, wonderful staff and all for £20. What is not to love

Experiencia positiva: Nice sealife centre with plenty to see, located on Blackpool sea front. Once your inside the first section you come to is the touch pool which if you have young children is great as they get to touch starfish and shrimp and other sea creatures. This is the only section of the attraction where you can touch the animals. The staff on the touch pools are great and are really happy to take any questions from children and adults alike. As you move through the rest of the attraction, there's plenty of fish to see as well as sharks, turtles, jellyfish, and more. My only criticism is that it is a bit short and you can see everything it has to offer in about 45 to 60 minutes.

A few issues though: 1)The floors are quite uneven and the lighting is rather dim making it a little tricky for those with mobility issues. 2) There is a lift but when leaving, you have to go back through most of the exhibits to get there.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an excellent trip to the sea life centre, was quiet as midweek which suited us well. The desk greeting was warm, welcoming and friendly. Everything was explained well, with lots of staff on hand who were very knowledgeable. I Asked quite a few questions to Joseph and he answered with a real enthusiasm. He also did the talk at the feeding which was thoroughly enjoyable. Overall me and my 3 year old highly recommend a visit to SEALIFE Blackpool!.

Experiencia positiva: Had a great time here with my son. Can get overcrowded and when it does the experience is no where near as good. Water was dirty in a few of the tanks but overall it's definitely worth a trip. The tunnel part is enjoyable where you can see sharks and the turtles and the big viewing tank at the end is nice to have a sit down and watch the beautiful sea life. The tropical part could do with a bit more attention. As a tropical fish keeper myself I was quite disappointed in the lack of variety of tropical fish. They only had some tetras and one species of chiclid. They also labeled a fish wrong, naming the silver dollar a spotted dollar. They did have a spotted dollar in the tank but there was no mention of the silver dollar. A few tanks were empty due to being upgraded and the shrimps weren't available in the rock pool which is always one of my sons favourite parts. Will definitely return though

Experiencia positiva: Fantastic place to visit, our son loved it. We were really impressed. The downside was how busy it was, just too many people there to be able to see everything. Also I have been charged twice on my debit card!! I will be phoning tomorrow!! Update...after contacting Sea life, they were absolutely terrible at resolving my double payment issue. I booked through the official website but sea life say I booked through a third party company! I won't be booking online again!!!

Experiencia positiva: We have visited Sea Life Blackpool. It is school half term at the moment , so expected it might be quite busy. When booked tickets there was specific time slot to choose, meanwhile it's been overcrowded and simply too many guests were in at the same time. Overall fantastic place. We have been there several times and always enjoyed. Only giving 4 stars due to overcrowded corridors. All the rest is superb! Recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a wheelchair user and was taken here by my daughter last summer the whole experience was superb I was acknowledged not ignored the area was easy to manoeuvre my wheelchair and I was able to see all the fish which I often miss out on completing outings as they don’t accommodate wheelchairs fully Blackpool made sure I had access to everything the staff were enthusiastic very knowledgeable and extremely helpful friendly and accommodating the level of their talks was full of information and easy for all ages to understand this is the best sealife centre and should be praised For their customers care but more importantly there expertise in conservation of sealife creatures big and tiny will not hesitate to recommend to families and friends

Experiencia positiva: We had a good time here and made the most of it. The cafe is very small and doesn't have much to choose from. The place is kinda small so you can be around it in an hour if you don't stop and enjoy the aquariums. The staff were very friendly and helpful!!! Worth a visit... I always want more for the animals in these kind of places. It's far better than Deep Sea World in Edinburgh!

Experiencia positiva: Not the largest aquarium but still it's nicely laid out to let you loop back on yourself to be able to take your time and enjoy the different areas. It takes around 45 mins to see everything but you could spend a lot more time in there if you wanted to. Staff were super friendly and great with the kids

Experiencia fantástica: We brought our sons here on a Saturday in January. We really enjoyed our time, even with some tanks empty, my sons were disappointed not to see the piranhas, it was still a great day out. We love visiting aquariums and after this we have now been to all the Sealife Centres, as well as The Deep in Hull; Blackpool Sealife did not disappoint on that list. The staff were brilliant and the whole experience walking through each area was informative. I’d say you need at least 2 hours or more to enjoy the full experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Just been today as a family of 5 and everyone loved it, I read some negative reviews before going and they are completely unfounded, the place is clean and up to date, the staff are super helpful (special mention to Joseph), all of the animals look really well looked after and the exhibits are all super interesting….its not that easy to see but when on the stingray section there’s some stairs up to a screen where you can look into the tunnel area and its a hidden gem watching the sharks and turtles

Experiencia fantástica: We took our 2 young grandsons. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and spent a good 2 hours there. The animals were good to see in well managed tanks, and descriptive posters were interesting. Excellent staff and a nice little cafe and gift shop. Lift provided for disabled customers. Toilets available.

I recently took my son to the Blackpool Sea Life Centre for the “Feed the Turtle” experience with Phoenix, and it was absolutely amazing! A huge thank you to Scott, our guide for the day, who was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion really made the experience extra special. We learned so many fascinating facts about turtles, including Phoenix’s story, and about the sea life in our local waters. The hands-on aspect was unforgettable, and my son hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Scott made sure we felt welcome, answered all our questions, and made the experience both fun and educational. Experiencia positiva: The time we were there it was ok, however they need the up keep. But it was still just ok for value for money. I remember visiting the tower when younger and seeing similar apart from the tunnel. My advice, take your time, it's an experience but i do have to say memorable trip for young ones

Experiencia positiva: Though a little small, and damp, it still manages to amaze and entertain! (There’s a joke there somewhere…) The small tanks are somewhat not interesting, and often too dark. But the big tanks are incredible, and the way you can view them from many different locations makes it seem like there’s more to see than there actually is. I’d go again next time I’m in town, especially if the weather is foul…which it likely is

Experiencia negativa: This was a huge disappointment and a waste of £80. We had an earlier viewing booked with the hope it would be quiet for pushing a wheelchair around. Sadly, this was not the case. It was full of families with children who were hogging the viewing areas for ages . Children were running about riot paying no attention to others around them. We had enough and left within 25 minutes

From the start, we were excited to explore, and while we did expect a bit more, it still turned out to be a brilliant experience overall. The aquarium is well-designed, with a good variety of exhibits featuring fascinating marine creatures. The walk-through ocean tunnel was a highlight, letting us get an up-close look at the sharks and rays swimming overhead – an incredible experience that was both thrilling and calming. The rockpool area, where we could touch some of the sea creatures, was also a fun, hands-on experience. The layout is easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, answering questions and adding interesting facts along the way. While it’s not the largest aquarium, the displays are thoughtfully put together, and each section offers something new and interesting to see. Overall, SEA LIFE Blackpool is a fun and educational visit for all ages. It’s a great place to spend a few hours, especially for families and anyone who loves marine life. Even though we expected a bit more, we still left happy and satisfied with the experience.

Experiencia positiva: Saturday 5th October 24. What a fantastic experience. There were so many different types of sea creatures too many to describe here. So many different sizes and shapes and a multitude of colours. There were numerous rooms to explore. And the underwater shark tunnel was brilliant. Excellent for families. Wheelchair and Pram accessible. And there is a gift shop and café at the end of the tour. I highly recommend a visit to Sea Life if you are in Blackpool.
