Experiencia negativa: So disappointed. Bought the swimming with dolphin experience for whole family. In years past the encounter was video'd with option to purchase in addition to a bunch of candid pictures. Now it's just 2 main poses.in past the dolphin would push you by your feet, no more. In past the dolphin pulled you holding his fin, now no more. Won't do this experience again.

Experiencia negativa: Save your money! Is not worth it! The video and the pictures are deceiving! Why is it called a park when is just a pond with two dolphins in it?(nothing like the pictures you see)You see them doing some tricks and that’s about it.20 min 50$ add another 18$ for the parking… wait wait for it.. ohh you not allowed to take pictures. They take the pictures and if you want any that’s another 60$(per picture)…. Ohh guess what.. they don’t take cash so if you go there only with cash and you left your cards at the hotel, you wasted your time! My advice is to stay away from this place. They just minting money out of tourists

Experiencia positiva: Really had a good time. Signed up for the basic dolphin encounter with my five year old daughter. This was a blast and my daughter really enjoyed it. The exhibits were clean, food was less than impressive, staff were very friendly. To purchase entry pictures and the pictures of the dolphin encounter was $225.00 . Definitely over the top even for a theme park. The Dolphin show itself is worth the admission price. Would be five plus stars if not for the photo extortion.

Experiencia negativa: Many of the fish appeared to be in poor health, although a little sign mentioned they were already in that condition when adopted. The park itself was quite small—we completed the entire visit in just over an hour, including approximately 20 minutes observing the dolphins, which were confined to a small pool and displaying rough behavior (perhaps theyre having fun?) Overall, the ticket price did not feel justified. Given the condition of the facility and the animals, it was difficult to feel good about supporting the business. Also, on top of the hefty ticket price, parking is $18/car

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend the Dolphin Exploration experience at Sea Life Park Hawaii! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized and smooth. Booking was quick and easy, and I appreciated the clear communication throughout the process. Follow-up emails, reminder emails, and even reminder texts were sent to ensure we were fully prepared for our visit. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. They explained each step of the activity thoroughly, making sure everyone felt comfortable and informed. It was clear that they genuinely care about the animals – their passion and respect for the dolphins really stood out. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and located in a stunning setting with breathtaking views of the ocean. Most importantly, the animals are clearly well cared for, which made the experience even more meaningful. Overall, it was a fun, educational, and unforgettable encounter. A must-do if you’re visiting Oahu!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great time with our 8-yr old son. Smaller park which allows you to get closer to the animals and see the whole thing without being exhausted. Good explanations of not only science facts about the animals but also cultural significance. Presenters do a great job answering questions and we especially liked Kaliaʻs short welcome and introduction in Hawaiian language prior to giving the presentation in English.

Experiencia fantástica: One of our best days out. We paid extra to play with the dolphins. We loved the shark tank. They swam right up to the glass. The enclosures are very clean. Sea lions were funny when they were being fed. Beautiful animals xx

Experiencia fantástica: My fiance and I had such an awesome day here! We did the dolphin encounter and it was unforgettable. It was really expensive but we felt like it was worth it! The park is small but all of the exhibits, performances and talks are really awesome! It wasn't busy which meant we could really see the animals and they seemed to be really active maybe because there wasn't a crazy amount of people crowding the exhibits

Natalie Palencia 4 months ago

Experiencia negativa: 91 out of the 144 animals who died in sea life's care where taken from Hawaii waters. Captured ..not rescued. It is disgusting what they do and how these animals are treated and forced to be used as props for entertainment. You can see the injuries on this dolphin caused by its interactions with people touching and riding them. Please do research before you support places like this. These animals are not happy or healthy. Just used and bred for profit.

Experiencia fantástica: This was not originally part of our plans while visiting the island but I had pulled a calf muscle prior to the trip and re-aggrevated it while on a local hike. We were looking for things to do that did not involve hiking and could potentially rent a wheel chair. They were great about the wheel chair and made borrowing and returning it very easy. The exhibits were great and we followed the shows/talks around to each exhibit and spent the whole morning here before the shows/talks started repeating. We had a great time and I would guess it's probably even better with young kids.

Experiencia positiva: Just wanted to comment about food since just had lunch & used bathroom facilities here which they will allow. Expect theme park food prices & portions. Ordered fish n’ chips for about $20 & got 2 small pieces of fish, cole slaw, & a load of fries. Suppose the fries will make up for the fish. Condiment table was well stocked.

Experiencia negativa: We visited here in January of 2025. Let’s be honest the life of the park is dead. Allot of the exhibits are either empty or lacking wildlife. Not to mention how poor the conditions seem to look. We entered the park and was turned off within 30 minutes after realizing all of this. We visited this exact park in 2017 and we loved it. After returning for a second visit on our recent trip. Not the case. We left shortly after an hour due to how terrible it was.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had a blast at sea life park! We were able to swim with the dolphins, feed the birds, fish and turtles. We were met with great customer service by Alex and Allison and we really enjoyed our time! Definitely recommend to everyone!

Experiencia positiva: Overall I loved the place but once you come there it looks BIG but it’s actually small. Only dolphins, sharks, some fish, turtles, and seal. And it’s not bigger than the Waikīkī aquarium. When there is a dolphin show it’s very little and at the same time a sad show. The performances are little and to recommend you: Do not go in the front row. Because the bushes in the ocean, you can’t see anything at all. The dolphins doesn’t splash you and also the staff doesn’t play with them to perform. They only tell them to do tricks and it was only 10 min performance. Honestly the place is fun but I don’t think it should be that expensive.

Experiencia positiva: I found this place in a brochure from one of the hotels. With five kids under the age of six, I thought it would be a hidden gem. Having visited Oahu a couple of times before, I was surprised I hadn't known about the Sea Life Park. We loved the scenic drive to the location, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience for young children. Its smaller size allowed us to thoroughly explore each exhibit and all the different areas. Additionally, the staff was wonderful; they even let my kids feed the fish, which they absolutely loved. We truly enjoyed this place.

Kelli Medina 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: I paid for the swimming with sharks experience and yes they were there, but the whole purpose of that package is to feed the fish. You can do that at the beaches. You don’t get to do anything with the sharks which was disappointing. There was also an $18 fee for parking which was ridiculous because you’re already paying a lot to get into the park. We walked around to see what else we could do but nothing was happening. It was so slow and boring that we decided to leave. I wouldn’t spend your money to go here. If you do, do it for the dolphin experience because that did look like you get to actually be up close with them and do stuff. Other than that, pay the extra money to go somewhere real where you can swim with sharks.

Nait Saco 5 months ago

Experiencia positiva: Judging by the excitement of six hours spent at the park from an 8yr old, I'd say it was a success of entertainment. Every timed activity from when the gate first opened until lunch, and then followed by the dolphin in pool package, the day was worth every penny. Blazing hot and very little shade, wear appropriate sun protection.

Kela Noa 6 months ago

Experiencia negativa: As a little kid, it was always a good experience going to sea life park. There's a lot more to see and do and of course much more cheaper. I honestly would not recommend ever going there now. They don't have much to see, a lot of the attractions are gone and it's super expensive to get in. I was pretty frustrated because I paid a lot of money for me and my family to have a good time. But we had the total opposite of a good time. We were there only 30 minutes and left because it was really crappy. Like I said earlier, there isn't really much to see, and the amount of money you pay to get in is not worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: The sea life luau was amazing! The staff were so kind, funny and kept the energy up all night! The activities to do were so fun and full of the culture. Many dances and brings guests up to the stage! Experience was 10/10

John Good 6 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: The park was a fun event. The animal shows were not overly complicated and lasted 15 mins each. It made it easy to move four adults and a senior in a site-provided wheel chair between shows. The shows were also informative about the animals, and the speakers were approachable and knowledgeable about the animals they worked with. The scenery as a backdrop to the park was spectacular, which just added to the experience. We were never bored and never rushed. The people that worked there were very nice. We got to the park around 12:00 and had seen everything by about 4:00. We then went to the luau. It's not like the Hale Koa or the PCC as it begins, but it exceeds those two in diversity of engaging crafts for adults (and children), pre-dinner entertainment that's culturally informative (and funny), with an all-you-can eat buffet dinner that's really good (diverse choices, flavorful food) that welcomes guests back for seconds. The dancers were really good and worked well together. The show was very engaging and got the crowd involved. One of the fire dancers was a multiple world champion and very good. There were a couple of children who were also champions of some sort and were also good. Again, the scenery really added to the ambiance of the show up against the mountains with the ocean behind the stage and the lighthouse in view. We've been on the island a little more than 2.5 years and entertain folks from the mainland frequently. We'll be back again bringing guests. This is a hidden gem.

Pauline “Polly” 6 months ago

Experiencia negativa: This was pathetic to say the least. We booked the luau with the park and planned to do both in the same day but found out the park was closed due to weather but they had the luau anyway which was dismal. Had to eat outside in the rain and not impressive. They charge $15 to park on top of the already high fees we paid and when we went back to see the park that had been closed, they wanted another $15. There was virtually nothing much to see at the park. The dolphins which was the main attraction we wanted to see didn't have a show because the theatre was closed for some upgrading. The bird sanctuary was also closed due to bird flu. We saw a few sea lions get fed and there was some turtles but we see them on the beach everyday anyway. Some sharks swimming around a tank but also not impressive. We were in and out in 30 minutes as its a small park with very little to see. Even the majority of the gift shops were closed. Most of the good reviews are from people who paid even bigger bucks to stand in the water for 20 minutes with the dolphins. This is the most pathetic experience I have seen. Save your money. The luau at Polynesian Cultural Center is superior and they dont charge for parking either.

akosioben 6 months ago

Experiencia positiva: This place was nice, but they clearly specialize in pushing for the animal encounters to get what’s worth the money you pay. At a steep $50 per adult without the animal encounters p plus $18 for parking, this park was OK. There were great opportunities to see five or six animals, but there were no ongoing shows at consistent times, and very limited in terms of adult experience. This is a great spot if you have children under the age of five who want to see sea turtles and sea lions and a few dolphins. It’s a wonderful spot for a family if you are willing to pay the extra to do all the animal encounters as well.

Experiencia fantástica: A Fantastic Family Experience at Sea Life Park Hawaii! Our family visited Sea Life Park Hawaii on February 23rd, and it was a very positive experience! One of the highlights was the central aquarium, where we got to see a variety of fish and even a few sharks up close. The animal enclosures were fantastic, with great visibility at every exhibit we visited. We especially loved watching the sea lions, and we had the chance to see dolphins, sea turtles, feed fish, and explore the shark and fish aquarium. Unfortunately, the bird sanctuary was closed, but there was still plenty to see and do. Beyond the animal exhibits, we appreciated the kid friendly features, like a play park and misters around the park to help cool off on a hot day. The food was surprisingly good (4.5 stars), and despite visiting on a busy Sunday, the service was fast and there was plenty of seating for large families. We also purchased a photo from the entrance for $30, which made for a nice keepsake. The park was very stroller/wheelchair friendly and we were able to access every feature without an issue. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be adding more shaded areas, like umbrellas or covered seating, to escape the sun. The gift shop selection was a bit limited (3.5 stars) not a huge variety of gifts, but they did have a great selection of stuffed animals. We paid $170 USD total for a family of 4 (total of 3), although our 2 year old was able to get a free admission. Overall, I’d highly recommend Sea Life Park Hawaii for a family trip! The well designed animal displays make it easy for even small children to see and interact with the animals. Even on a hot, busy day, we had an amazing time and would definitely visit again.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is wonderful. The staff is great but I can’t even to begin to say how wonderful Kathrine was. She helped me with my life jacket and made me feel so special. She is kind and caring and made the day so nice. Swimming with the dolphins was a magical experience and one that everyone should have. It was worth every penny, it truly was a dream come true. Thank you for making this experience possible. This place is a must and I highly recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best experience ever. Everyone was so caring, nice and helpful. It was my wife’s dream to do the dolphin encounter. We got to touch and hold and play and swim with the dolphin. More than I ever expected. My wife still can’t stop smiling and talking about how great it was. Thank you. It took her mind off of dolphins and you trying to kill me.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place too bring kinds and up close to some of the animals. We did the Dolphin Exploration which was cool and fun..despite the cold water. But you get used to fast. It's expensive but worth it. Of course they want to upscale you to the Extra photos and digital links. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Experiencia negativa: Our family visit to sea life park was definitely forgettable. Paying over 350 for all of us, we get there with our 2 cars and have to spend an additional 40 for an empty parking lot in the afternoon. There really isn’t much of ‘ sea life’ at all…a couple sharks and the dolphin portion is your family watching other families interact, how incredibly boring. We were told there isn’t any dolphin shows at all. Saw a couple of turtles and a sea lion and the rest is pretty much nothing. The food was way overpriced for the dry burger you get, just in shock. What a waste of money. I would suggest not spending your money here.

Experiencia negativa: The park is set in a paradise-like area, it was nice strolling around seeing all of the aquatic creatures. I like the fact that all the animals are outside. Better than the Waikiki Aquarium, for sure. All activities have a timestamp schedule at the entry gate (like feedings and shows). But I'm giving one star because the front desk admissions employee was horrible, zero stars. I didn't catch her name but I think she's mixed, curly hair and young. Her communications and service skills are horrible if at all existent. Idk who trained her, maybe she missed that day. Customers are on vacation and she is annoyed to see them pay the extremely expensive packages for the park. This girl couldn't even answer basic questions and asked us to lookup the info ourselves. It's her tone that was repulsive. If she hates being there she should ask to be fired. It's okay girl, you can do something else work-wise, but you're ruining the experience of the beautiful scenic park with your negativity. Management, look into this.

Experiencia negativa: Strongly recommend DO NOT visit this park. We spent 30 mins to go round whole the park and we leaved with very disappointed in this park. It charged 49.99 for adult and 39.99 for children to grneral admission to the park but not worth it. When we bought the tickets they didn't tell us the dophin show has been stopped for some reason. And the only one program we saw was the shark feeding and the it takes about 10 mins and the staff was just reading the introduction without any passion. We didn't buy the dophin interaction which is charged extra USD 40 per person. Maybe the park foucs on the interaction program to educate people but we don't know about it. We can feel people working here with no passion and just do their job.

Experiencia negativa: Seriously the biggest waste of money! $15 to park and $187 to get in for 2 adults and 2 kids. There were no shows, closed down areas. Staff was not friendly at the dolphin habitat. Seemed run down. Definitely not worth the price. There should be discounts for weekdays or if there are no attractions.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had an amazing time at Sea Life Park! The highlight of our visit was swimming with the dolphins—it was a magical and unforgettable experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable throughout the interaction. After the swim, we enjoyed a delicious dinner paired with an incredible Lua show. The performances were captivating, showcasing the rich Hawaiian culture in such a beautiful way. The food was flavorful, and the entire evening felt like a true celebration of the island spirit. Sea Life Park exceeded all our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, entertainment, and cultural immersion!

Experiencia fantástica: I went here half a year ago in a field trip during my afterschool program (if it is because I don’t remember) and it was great. Experiencia positiva: Our family visit to Sea Life Park Hawaii was an unforgettable experience, especially for our young kids who had the incredible opportunity to pet the dolphins. This marine park offers a perfect mix of education, interaction, and entertainment, making it a must-visit for families. The highlight of our visit was the dolphin encounter. The interactive session allowed our kids to get up close and personal with these intelligent creatures, petting them and learning about their behaviors and conservation. The trainers were knowledgeable and patient, ensuring a safe and memorable experience for everyone. Sea Life Park Hawaii offers a fantastic day out for families, combining thrilling animal encounters with educational opportunities. The chance to pet dolphins was a dream come true for our kids, and we left with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for marine life. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Oahu!

Experiencia negativa: This place needs some serious upgrades. Maybe being from California we have a different view because we do tend to be hypersensitive about an animals environment. But come on, they couldn’t even clean the glass on the dolphin cage. The cement is crumbling around the deck. Where do the dolphins go when they aren’t performing. I didn’t see any large pool of water around the dolphin enclosure. It is very small and little to see.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an incredible time at Sea Life Park back in November 2022, especially since we received complimentary tickets with our Luau Celebrity Package! It was truly worth it and added so much value to our overall experience. One of the highlights was the opportunity for my daughter to meet and interact with a dolphin up close. I paid for the dolphin encounter, and it was absolutely worth it! She was thrilled to touch the dolphin and take pictures with it—such a magical moment that we will cherish forever. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the encounter even more enjoyable. We also had the chance to feed the fish, which was a delightful experience for both kids and adults. Watching the colorful fish swim up to us was mesmerizing! Another fantastic part of our visit was entering the large birdhouse, where we got to feed the birds. It was amazing to have the birds land on us while we offered them food. The whole experience felt immersive and magical, truly connecting us with nature. Overall, our day at Sea Life Park was filled with unforgettable moments and fun activities. The complimentary tickets made the Luau experience even more worthwhile, and I highly recommend visiting the park if you have the chance!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed not at all what you think it will be. There were a couple cool things there but not worth the money and then to pay an extra 16.00 to park. My opinion there are so many other things to do this is time not worth losing. May be okay for kids.

Experiencia fantástica: Sea Life Park was AMAZING!!!! My family and I had so much fun and the staff was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! We did the reef habitat adventure, and Caitlin and Alex were AWESOME!!! My youngest had a full-blown panic attack, and they were SO NICE and gentle with her. They worked together and helped to calm her down and get her back into the water. She was able to feed the fish and actually try snorkeling!! By the end, she was ready to swim with the sharks and didn't want to get out. But Caitlin and Alex were so sweet about it and didn't seem to get irritated at all!! We also got to hand feed the birds, which was also amazing!! This place is a MUST!!! The drive to the location was magnificent, and the park was even better!! THANK YOU, SEA LIFE PARK!!

Experiencia fantástica: Sea Life Park is such a wonderful aquatic educational experience to be had while visiting Hawai'i. The variety of species, cleanliness of the habitats, staff knowledge and quality of the shows really set this place apart from other similar places you may have been. There is so much to see and do for people of all ages, including little kids which is great for families who may be on holiday. There is plenty of parking available with a dedicated car park for guests, however, just be aware this is a paid car park which is a separate fee from your tickets.

Experiencia positiva: We got to have the dolphin encounter with BABY DOLPHINS! They’re still pretty big, but the two boy dolphins showed their tricks and personalities to my bf and I. We were the only ones at that apt so we got to interact with them at a more concentrated level than it had been a group. We bought a GoCityPass so the park itself was included; but the encounter was an extra $20. It was only about a 30minute session so it was a little short considering no one else was there or after us, but a great experience none the less! Thanks to the ladies who facilitated! You can also buy a photo for $60 of you and the dolphin. A bit steep, considering we already paid twice, but we got one anyway! Also also, with certain timing you get a 5 day pass to the luaus in the same area! The young lady who set our reservation for the dolphins told me about it and got us set up for one. Unfortunately we were too jet lagged to stay, but I’m sure it was an awesome show/dinner. MAHALO!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a little mishap where they forgot to pick us up from the hotel. We had to, in a frenzy call an uber taxi to make it in time for the dolphin encounter. This was the highlight for me from this trip to Hawaii, the encounter was 30minutes, and it was the most amazing thing to touch a dolphin . Highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helped us with getting the refund for uber later. Park is small, but the animals look well cared for. Some of the tanks could use better cleaning to remove the algae though.

Experiencia fantástica: Perfect kid sized place to visit. Some of my earliest fond memories were here in the 1970s, not much has changed since then, and that's a good thing. The large covered aquarium used to have a false killer whale or dolphin that would interact with kids through the glass, but now there's only a shark in there. Shows have changed a little bit that's to be expected, still fun and educational. My daughter really enjoys the bird enclosure. Overall a great couple of hours family time.

Experiencia fantástica: **Sea Life Park Hawaii: A Memorable Ocean Adventure** My visit to Sea Life Park Hawaii was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who made the experience truly special. Their passion for marine life and dedication to creating a fun, educational environment was evident throughout the day. One of the highlights of my visit was the dolphin experience. Interacting with these intelligent and playful creatures was an unforgettable experience. The trainers were knowledgeable and patient, guiding us through every step while sharing fascinating insights about dolphin behavior and conservation. The joy of being so close to these magnificent animals is something I’ll cherish forever. Another remarkable activity was the sea turtle feeding. Getting the opportunity to feed these gentle giants was a unique experience that brought me closer to understanding the importance of protecting these endangered species. The staff provided interesting information about their life cycles and the challenges they face in the wild, making the encounter both educational and heartwarming. The sea lion and seal exhibits were equally impressive. Watching these charismatic animals perform and interact with their trainers was pure entertainment. The trainers' rapport with the animals was evident, and their enthusiasm was contagious. The educational commentary during the shows added an extra layer of appreciation for these incredible marine mammals. Overall, Sea Life Park Hawaii exceeded my expectations. The combination of thrilling animal encounters, engaging educational content, and the staff's genuine warmth and professionalism made this visit one of the best experiences I’ve had in Hawaii. Whether you're a marine life enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, Sea Life Park is a must-visit destination that will leave you with lasting memories.

Experiencia fantástica: We bought season passes. It was a great place to spend Saturdays. Go to the shows, eat the food, pet the fish, feed and hold the birds, and much more. It is sea world on a smaller scale. My kids loved it. I think the dolphin and wholphin show was the best!

Experiencia negativa: Was excited to go, went about 2 hours before closing, started off great… was walking through the discovery reef area and saw the staff petting some of the sea life, then saw a young girl start doing the same and he freaked out on her, saying not to touch anything. Her mother than said that it said on the website that it’s a touch pool and safe to touch, and he said “what website? Not ours!” And continued to berate them. I looked online and it definitely said it’s a touch pool, so I’m confused. Even if they weren’t allowed - the staff was doing the same and he was rude about all of the misunderstanding. This killed the vibe instantly. I feel bad for that family.

Experiencia positiva: We came today for the swimming with the dolphins, which is very expensive. One thing that you should do is bring towels and the change of clothes. They don’t really give you a lot of directions on this. The staff was very nice and the dolphin interaction was a lot of fun. I just wish they would’ve explained more before purchase about what we were gonna do and what to bring.

Experiencia positiva: Highly Recommend! If you are looking for the best aquarium on the island, this is the one! It has a great variety of sea life and the scenic views are unmatched. My 5 year old loved the playground and you can feed the fish & sea turtles which is pretty cool. I gave it 4 stars because even with prepaid tickets you are going to be in line for 30mins waiting to get in. The walkin line was moving faster than the prepaid & because of this we missed the first dolphin encounter. Another reason it got 4 stars is because although the majority of the workers here were nice and friendly, the park has a few bad apples like the guy at the gift shop when purchasing turtle food.

Experiencia positiva: Sea Life Park Luau was great! we brought my 80 yr old in-laws for their 60th wedding anniversary. To their surprise the show asked who has been married the longest and it was them! They got called up front, got a lai and got to slow dance in the front. My mother in law was crying. She said it was the most amazing thing! And they have been to dozens of luaus over the years and hands down said your show was the best! They especially liked how it was big, but felt intimate and there liked how the performers were available before the show showing how to make leis, doing temporary tattoos and head dress braiding. They also liked the fire dancers, and all the talented performers. Thank you for helping them celebrate a wonderful 60th anniversary! I would have given 5 stars if there was a selection of desserts as advertised(only one option) and if the food was a little higher quality. Also, we had to call to make the reservation as the online system was not working. I had left 2 messages and never got a reply from the automated system, and once spoke with someone who didn’t know how to fix the problem and he said he would have someone call me back and they never did. I finally reached someone on the 4th call and she promptly helped me. I’m glad it worked out because my girls and my inlaws are still raving about it!

Experiencia fantástica: Unique experiences at a somewhat accessible price. Awesome trainers and OK staff (mixed from awesome to ???). We did the dolphins and sea lions. The dolphin experiences are a bit pricier (understandable- operating costs must be nuts). We did the mid-tier dolphin option and got to meet their wolphin (learn something new every day). Very awesome. Our trainer was a rock star. Our 14 and 8 year olds were blown away. The sea lion experience was really great. Hands-on. Lots of feeding and general puppy-like cuteness. Value-wise, I feel like this was probably the best bet (much more affordable than the dolphin option we chose with similar length and engagement). The rest of park was cool, but doesn’t really standout from an aquarium standpoint. Even for the price (we were well over 1k with the photo packs for a family of 4 with the experiences), it was mostly 5-star experience. Only downsides were the concessions staff (standard sullen types), mild hostility of one of the photographers toward a customer (take that jewelry warning seriously folks!), and the random park staff who rushed out of the park at 3:45 after our sea lion experience (park is open till 4 and we hadn’t even had opportunity to get our photos). If you wanna close at 3:45, why not just do that? Having grumpy staff talk to people like their ignorant for not knowing that they should be rushing out 15 minutes before you close seems unnecessary, no?

Experiencia positiva: The park is very small and has limited things to look at. It will probably take an average person about an hour to an hour and a half to get through the day which is sort of a shame because they have many shows scheduled throughout the day. In terms of value terms, you’re definitely paying more than what you actually get. Also, it’s a bit of a way outside of Waikiki. However, despite all these negatives, there were some pretty cool animals to look and learn about and overall it was a positive experience. In fact, there were so few people there the day that we went that it almost seemed like we had the entire place to ourselves.

Experiencia fantástica: Exceeded our family expectations! Animals all seemed happy and well cared for. Knowledgeable staff with all talks and feedings. The lunch place there was so great and one of the cheapest meals we’ve had here. They have a great little playground and lots of fun kid friendly steps and places to view. We did the dolphin experience first slot as they opened and it was remarkably memorable! Great for our 5yr old. They were respectful trainers. Only minor discomfort was cold showers to change and continue our day after being in that water.

Experiencia negativa: Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t 5 star quality‍♀️ $15 to park, then $55 per person in person or $45 online per person (plus tax and a $3 fee) Kind of sad to see how small the enclosures were for the animals. I know some of the animals are rehabilitated there, but the dolphins were in TINY spaces with each other. I feel like the enclosures could have been cleaner for the animals and more taken care of for them as well. Their homes were pretty bare minimum and some were overcrowded (sea turtles). You can pay to feed the turtles. I can’t remember how much. Either $2 or $3 for a cup of food. We went to buy time from hotel check out and our flight back home.

Experiencia positiva: Drive was nice coming up. We used an Lyft driver. When we got here it was quick as there was no lines. Walking it was great already because we got to see sharks. Then coming out of the area you get to see the turtles. The birds in the cage who we got to feed were awesome. Seeing the different sea life here was great. Family got to do the dolphins interactions. Shack place only had 1 place open.

Experiencia fantástica: I did the dolphin exploration today and it was so worth it. What a fantastic experience. We were with Nani and Laka. Granddaughter and grandma dolphins. A beautiful park with caring trainers and staff. A must do! ❤️

Experiencia positiva: This was a spur of the moment visit. Even without checking the schedule we saw the shark feeding, a dolphin training session, and a wonderful time feeding the birds. This actually was one of my son’s favorite spots.

Experiencia positiva: Tickets are cheaper through most transit companies than on the park website. The park has beautiful views and a wonderful dolphin show, otherwise it is a bit small. If you plan it right you can see everything inside 2 hours. Loved hand feeding the birds and the turtles.

Experiencia fantástica: The park is not super huge, but the shows and talks are worth staying all day. I went for the sea turtles, but the monk seal and sea lions are trained so well and do tricks! The dolphin/wholphin show was super impressive, and I learned a lot on my visit. They are cashless, get tickets online.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved our time here! We arrived at 11 and stayed until closing. We weren’t sure that we would be there the whole time, but with the planned hourly activities we ended up staying longer. Especially loved the dolphin show, the seals, and turtles. The shark feeding was interesting but it was hard to get a good view. We got slushies to cool off for a snack and enjoyed walking around to all the exhibits and learning more about these animals! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Experiencia positiva: I'm not really a fan of wildlife parks, but visiting the park, I learned that most of the animals are rescues and can't be released back into their natural habitats. The dolphin show was great. I also enjoyed the sea lion and Monk seal presentations. We visited on a Saturday, and there wasn't a line to enter, but there is a parking fee as well as a fee for the tickets. Also, the park doesn't accept cash, so be sure to bring your credit card and some change for the pressed penny machines.

Experiencia positiva: The show was excellent the drive was beautiful from Waikiki Beach. The band did a great job as well. The only downside was the quality of food which was average, I thought we were eating the pig that was being roasted that was just for show then was led to a buffet line. I would recommend purchasing the VIP tickets as it was only additional $10 per ticket from gold seating. Overall a great experience!

Experiencia positiva: Kid loves the dolphin experiences, bird feeding and the dolphin show. Dolphin experience comes with one photo but they don’t let you pick. The additional photo is $40+tax which I think is way over price. The whole park is cashless. Their cafe food is only ok. Buy ticket online in advance is the best route

Experiencia positiva: We went on a weekday, and it was pretty cool. But, honestly, the place would have been like any other aquarium if it weren't for the dolphin splash at the ending. The birds are not friendly, and they bite!! They bit my little sisters hand so hard it bled! She was just trying to feed them. Some of staff is super cold and not friendly consistently reprimanded the visitors for silly things and have major attitudes (I personally didn't experience this just saw it multiple times) also quite a few of the birds looked pretty messed up, lots of feathers missing and looking sick. Also, apparently, they just allowed to breed and have as many babies as they like. No wonder their all so unfriendly. They aren't being given the proper attention to have a healthy relationship with humans! However, all the other animals were well cared for and seemed happy!! The dolphins seemed especially happy with all their amazing tricks. They seemed to really love their trainers. The people who talked about the animals in the shows seemed super passionate about their work and really care about the animals and the environment. So even thou some of the staff could be nicer and more polite to the visitors there are a lot of super awesome hardworking people at sea life park who do their part to make it a safe, friendly, and educational experience to community!

Experiencia positiva: We did the dolphin exploration. We were supposed to have more time in the water than the other experience but that didn't happen. The trainer was nice, the dolphin was adorable. I wish the changing rooms were a little bigger. The park itself is small but the dolphin show was so wonderful. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Their cafe was very good! It's listed next to an amazing beach and view! Shark frenzy was disappointing. Loved our time there.

Experiencia positiva: It's small and not cheap but has a lot of heart and just to see the Wolphin and the dolphins is worth the trip alone. It's a beautiful drive and the staff was very helpful and taught us alot about dolphins we didn't know.

Experiencia fantástica: Sea Life Park is so much fun! It is small and not overwhelming to get to each enclosure. Their mission is to preserve and protect the wildlife. Look online for discounts - I ended up buying my ticket for half off from a Waikiki Trolley guide!

Experiencia positiva: Love Sealife park wish there was a little more but what they do have was great to watch and learn. I like that they have a schedule for a learning experience every 15 mins with a very long lunch for about 45 mins.

Experiencia negativa: Bus#23 from Waikiki towards East, sit on right side of bus to enjoy the scenic ride. The bus will pass by Kaiwi Scenic Shoreline & Makapuu Lighthouse trails but no stops. You have to walk back from Sea Life Park to the Scenic Shoreline & Lighthouse trails in order to explore these two attractions. Sea Life Park is very small compare to San Diego Sea World, not worth the money.

Experiencia fantástica: It's good to have bottle of water especially if you have children and sunscreen " vegan " is necessary. We went on a Monday " Kamaina Rate " and found it not crowded letting our granddaughter 4yrs. room to roam. It was my husband who has never been there that got taken back for it brought up the kid in him. I myself and with Royal Elementary School took me there about 3 times and being there once again felt like home. So calling ALL local people of the islands, go with your family and friends and enjoy.

Experiencia positiva: We got the luau tickets along with that we got the free tickets to the park. We only came there an hour before luau while we should have come longer or visit it another time. My kids had fun at the park. They like the birds, and the dophin show was also nice. The luau performance was good and culture activities were fun too. The drive from Waikiki was about 30 mins and very scenery. The only thing I didn't like were the food and drink.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff, educational experience, and beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond helping us plan our visit, especially Melissa in guest relations. The park is small, but perfect for an intimate and up close experience with the animals. We are able to have one on one interaction with the animals and staff rather than being in large groups and waiting in long lines like we would at Sea World. Plan about 4-5 hours at the park if you do the Dolphin encounter and see a few shows.

John Evans 1 year ago

Experiencia negativa: Way overpriced and nothing really to see. The aquariums are not well maintained and it's hard to see through anything that and they have plexiglass up everywhere that blocks your view of anything. Way overpriced. They wanted 50 bucks a person and when we got in there was nothing really to do. There was one dolphin show and one seal show. They have a couple turtles you can pay to feed and they had munk seal in the back. I was thinking it would be more like SeaWorld back home but it was more like a backwater's tourist trap.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome show and the food was really good! They have games and activities while you wait, the background is sooooo beautiful and the performers were super fun and entertaining. They have a bar and off free water, coffee and fruit punch. Tickets to the show includes entry to Sea Life Park too! I highly recommend it, my whole family enjoyed every minute!

Experiencia positiva: My husband and I took the Blue Line Trolley and got off at the Sea Life Park. The entrance fee for an adult is $50 but we had bought our tickets on the trolley for $25 each ( cash only). It’s a small park but it focuses on rehabilitation, conservation and sanctuary. They have dolphins, seals, birds, fish etc. They have animal shows and if you’re not afraid of birds landing on you, you can go into the bird area and feed them. For additional price you can swim with the dolphins but we didn’t do this. It does get hot as there’s not much shade but they did have misters going. We really enjoyed going into the bird area and letting them eat from our hands. You can not walk to the park, so you need to either drive, take a trolley ( make sure you catch the last one), Lyft or a bus.

Experiencia fantástica: My gf & I went here with only about an hour to stay. We didn't see the whole park, but I gave 5 stars because of two things. You can feed the sea turtles and they have a Wholpin. What is a Wholpin you ask? A killer whale/dolphin hybrid. Very rare. Back to the park. The parking is relatively simple, though leaving was a little confusing, and for 40 dollars, I think it's almost a little over-priced. We got free tickets for going to a luau that the park hosted, but again I didn't see the whole park. I spent a little time enjoying the sea turtles. What's good is that the drive to the park, if you go along the cost, is amazing. And they have some little sharks, sea turtles, and dolphins. Feeding the sea turtles some broccoli only cost 4 bucks and you get to keep the cup so that was actually a good deal. Especially since the sea turtles are so close, you can essentially hand feed them, and get some nice pictures. Their habitat could be a bit bigger I think, but I'm not an expert on how much space they need/want. There was also a dolphin show where they had their wholpin and her daughter, and that was fun to watch. The pictures don't really show the difference well, but in person, you can see it by the color and especially the nose/face.

Experiencia fantástica: Good little wildlife park with dolphins sharks. Sea turtles and more friendly staff. Our group purchased. The silver package for there lou al. But definitely recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Large variety of marine life here!!! Seeing the dolphins so close was such a fun experience. You're able to pet them also! Another favorite of mine was the huge bird area with parakeets that you can feed and they perch on you.

Richard Morris 2 years ago

Experiencia positiva: Highly recommend the encounter packages they have available. Military gets a discount through ITT (MWR) and general admission is included. Most likely a once in a lifetime opportunity for most. The rest of the park is a bit small, with a few animals available for viewing, but they also do shows. Feeding the birds is free and there is no time limit. The staff is very friendly and teach conservation and respect for the animals. I do recommend eating a big meal before going as the food in the park is priced a bit higher and there is no outside food allowed for the safety of the animals. I would bring refillable water bottles for everyone so you can refill at the water fountain as well.

Experiencia positiva: The park was small and a bit disappointing compared to other similar parks and aquariums we’ve been to. My toddler was excited to see the baby shark feeding however we weren’t able to see much at all. The restaurant inside also needs an upgrade with a better (and legible) menu. We booked the silver package which came with the Luau and this was the highlight of the whole experience. The dancers and performers were impeccable. The buffet dinner was delicious. Highly recommended the Luau!

Experiencia fantástica: We only had less than 1.5 hrs. here before it closed for the day and we still managed to see all the exhibits with enough time to catch the bus back to Waikiki. Peak crowd was gone for the day then so there was no waiting or congestion. The highlight was the aviary where we were able to feed the birds from our hands! Hubby, my toddler and I all got to experience this wonder. Also loved seeing the sea turtles and dolphins up close.

Experiencia positiva: It was a great place to get away and enjoy the view from sea life park and at the same time get a close up of some amazing creatures. I really enjoyed the bird cages, where we fed birds and the shark tanks.

Experiencia fantástica: There is Soo much to say about this lovely place, from dolphins to sea lions to the bird sanctuary and to the sea turtle exhibit I am thankful to see these amazing organizations bring together nature life to humans so we can continue to appreciate them and value them in their beautiful habitats.

Experiencia positiva: This is a great smaller park in a beautiful location perfect if you have younger children. The park is very manageable in size with programs spaced out so catch a little of everything. My toddler also loved the playground and that she got to feed the fish some lettuce. We paid to do the dolphin feeding with our 2 year old and dolphin swim with our 8 year old. The feeding and swims here are done in larger groups than I anticipated. If you love to take photos & videos like me, it's a bit of a bummer because you can't really take photos or videos of your own, only the ones you purchase through their photographer. and unfortunately the photo print quality of those isn't great. IMO, We've done the feeding at a Sea World and that personally was a better experience for us. We were allowed to take all the photo and videos we wanted. Side note: the sea lion area is currently under construction.

Experiencia positiva: Love this place for kids and adults as well. Everything was great. I just wish the penguins swimming area was cleaner. Food is alright. Jad the fish and chips, the fish was pretty hard. The cheese burger was good though. The staff was very nice.

Experiencia positiva: The park in itself is a little bit disappointing! Pretty small with a lot of exhibits closed for remodeling. However, the Luau was simply amazing. You are taking in an adventure across the Polynesian Islands and introduced to culture and dances as you "travel " the Polynesian triangle. Food is delicious and park entrance is included with the silver package (not sure about the other packages) but the Luau in itself is totally worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: This park is a hidden gem on the island. The park is small and intimate enough for you to not feel pressured to skimp through each animal / exhibit but big enough for you to not feel like you've wasted money. It may at first feel a bit expensive but it is totally worth the investment. Our 3 kids (all under 10) simply loved it. What's really awesome is that there's a show or a story telling for an exhibit every 15 mins, non-stop throughout the day. You'll feel like you are naturally being paced around the park to catch these mini shows. Plan 3+ hours for this place. You'll absolutely have a wonderful time. The staff is extremely friendly and your kids will leave with huge smiles on their faces.

Missy C 2 years ago

Experiencia positiva: Originally came here for the Luau, which includes the sea life park admission. There is a shuttle you can pay for to get you from Waikiki to the park, but even the early shuttle will have you miss a lot of attractions. If you have children, you may want to just plan for an Uber or rental to take advantage of all the parks offerings.

Neysi P. Diaz 2 years ago

Experiencia positiva: We went around 1:30pm. No wait. The park was pretty empty, and then I realized why. Lunch rush at the cafeteria. Overall the park is small so it's doable in one day but if you are looking for shows you have to go early in the morning as most shows end by 2 pm. You see sea turtles at arms length (plz don't touch) sharks, dolphins, feed birds, feed fish. They have a decent playground for kids from months to 9yrs old. There is also a Luau performance at night. So you can knock off two birds in one stone.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice place to go if you live here. I am not sure I would dedicate time to this place if I were visiting for a week a two. The dolphin show was the best! Though the presenters were great, it was hard to understand what they were saying. The mic was too close to their mouth. My 7 and 4 year old loved the little playground. If you want to do a dry event, this is a great place.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was great! The exhibits were very interesting, the dolphin and sea lion show happened to be absolutely breathtaking, it brought a tear to my eye, more than once. They have a very cool seaweed show too, don't skip it as its very cool!

Experiencia negativa: Not worth the time and money to visit. I had been here with my family in 2014 and we had fond memories of a bright park, with healthy looking animals and energetic staff. This place has fallen very far from that memory. 2 of the exhibits were closed and drained, and the ones that are open look old and in need of repair. Several of the fish had off colored spots, one of the sharks had an injured snout like it had hit the wall too many times. The only show we saw was the sea lion show and the host's attitude was blase. And only 1 of the sea lions jumped once, the other not at all.

Experiencia fantástica: West a really nice great place. The people that work here are so animal orientated and love their work with the animals that they have. They say they are like their family and that is really nice... My wife did the dolphin experience and she loved it, and I enjoyed so much watching. The dolphin show was awesome,I'm into turtles and I just love seeing the turtles show and feeding. The sharks are another thing, fantastic.. the tropical fish, sea lions..wow. We loved it and it was such a beautiful drive to get there. Edit: that's not me with my wife in the picture..

Experiencia fantástica: The WONDERFUL: I went to Aloha Kai Luau at Sea Life Park this weekend and feel like I need to give a public service announcement. These few hours were life changing - I know that sounds dramatic but I 100% feel like the show was the highlight of my hawaiian vacation (and i have been ALL over this island in 12 days). Not only did the food taste like someones grandma made us homemade dinner, it tasted like whoever cooked it loved us despite our flaws (as all grandmas do). Like, as if my grandma was actually back there cooking (which would mean that her funeral I went to in ‘2006 was a scam, orchestrated by a top secret grandma stealing agency). Steven with the management team & his staff greated us all and rolled out the red carpet for all the patrons that attended. They are incredibly thoughtful people, who made sure everything was perfect. P.S..... The food and show were really, REALLY good and, the fireshow was my favorite of all the acts. This is also very friendly for families. An added bonus that i cant forget, Adam Sandler filmed parts of 50 First Dates here.
