Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing time. I want to come back and do the full Fish feeding experience. Viktor was so warm and welcoming. He spent a lot of time with us explaining all of the different fish letting us touch the fish and pet them, letting us feed a few of them and letting us have the doctor fish nibble at our fingers. I brought my two granddaughters and one of their friends and we all had so much fun.

Experiencia fantástica: Five of us, including three adults and two children (boys ages 7 and 8) visited the Fish Story Aquarium in July. It was a wonderful and memorable experience. All of the adults and the children were impressed by the facilities and the diverse fish species. It was especially a fun time for the two boys who were able to feed the fish. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, and was fabulous with the boys helping them feed the fish and answering their questions. It’s very refreshing to witness the passion that the owner and his wife have for the aquarium and the fish. Overall it is a very unique and rare experience, and is highly recommended!

We loved learning about the different types of fish and some of the stories and names (including Gillian, a 35year old catfish!!) and feeding some of the biggest fish. It was amazing and so fun. The property is beautiful and the tanks are all extremely well maintained. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

Getting to feed the fish was a highlight. With careful guidance ensuring our and the fish’s safety, Viktor provided us with a one of a kind experience. Viktor’s passion shines through in his knowledge and care for each of the fish. We brought our 15 months old and she absolutely loved it. We can’t wait to come back again.

We go with our 3 little ones and even the 3 year old gets up front and center. Truly a very rare experience. Great for aquarium keepers or the average person. You can get up close and feed beautiful animals that you would never imagine you would see, such as arapaimas or a wels catfish.

They’re young (1.5 and 3.5) so I wasn’t sure if it was worth it, but they had a blast. We’ve visited several much larger aquariums/zoos before but this was much more engaging and intimate. The tanks were also super clean and well maintained — happy fish. A truly unique spot, I’d highly recommend it and we’ll be back!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the second year we have visited Fish Story on our annual trip to Florida. I cannot say enough good things about Viktor and his incredible fish rescue. He knows literally everything about all the fish he rescues and cares for them with passion and commitment. If you like wildlife, fish, nature, conservation, or just cool pretty things, this is well worth your time. Viktor and his wife have transformed their multi-acre property into an oasis of tropical, endangered or extinct in the wild plants and aquatic animals. Off the beaten path for sure and absolutely a rewarding experience!

Experiencia fantástica: MUST VISIT EXPERIENCE! We visited the aquarium based on reviews, while we were on vacation near Naples, together with our 7 and 12 years old kids. This is an extraordinary place to visit regardless if you are on vacation or you live nearby. We have had a spectacular time hearing the story that Viktor has to share about fishes; the kids even touched and fed different types of fishes. The warmth that Viktor does the guide tour with, the passion he has about fishes and the great work he has put into building the amazing construction is speechless. This place can be only maintained as such, if you have an infinite enthusiasm. This is a life experience and the whole family loved it! We learned so much and there was the perfect mix of information and anecdotes to keep even my 4, 6 and 8 year olds interested. Their favorite part by far was getting to feed all of the fish! They got to feed some with tongs, and some by hand! Truly an unforgettable experience. Definitely a must-do if visiting Naples!! We will definitely come back!

Experiencia fantástica: Let me start off by saying that as we were driving into the property I was literally confused because I had no clue the Aquarium is literally attached to the owners home. It was sorta scary lol because I was expecting to see pretty much a store or a business like setting, the surrounding area is beautiful, but very quiet lol ,I need to stop watching too many Crime movies lol. My husband and teenage daughter had to talk me into going in. And boy I'm so glad I did ! The owner Viktor greeted us just outside his home/aquarium with a smile and was so very polite, he asked who we were and told us that he's expecting another family at the same time, our appt was for 1 o'clock. I quickly realized why the business is by appt only. So we were a self-tour (me, husband and daughter) and took our first steps into the tent like setting and as soon as you walk in you'll immediately see the very first tank, pool or lake filled with these incredible / huge fish just to the right of you just swimming, laying, hanging out and a few laying really low at the bottom. You have to see it for yourselves because it's hard for me to explain it lol, but this place is amazing , and these fish are like nothing you've ever seen before , at least we haven't and my husband and I are no spring chicken lol ! There are several huge tanks that are spread out and go further into either the back or along the side of the house, idk but it's so cool, the buildings or the settings are like high closed in tents or something, idk but its really different , but you'll be more amazed with these incredible looking creatures lol!! Viktor the owner is as sweet as Apple pie and is so very kind. He literally loves every single fish under his care. 95% are bought and raised by him. You can tell that those fish are his passion and the craziest thing is that he literally takes in sick fish to nurse them back to health and he also rescues unwanted ones. I mean who does that lol. He allows you to feed them and he's right by your side and tells you everything about the fish and answers every single question you have. This place is an incredible experience!! Viktor if you read these reviews, I'd like to again thank you for your amazing hospitality and for sharing your knowledge about these beautiful creatures that God created. Your patience is incredible. Your energy provokes me to jealousy lol . Every one of your fish is so very healthy, it's so easy to see how hard you work to keep every single tank so clean and how much you love every single fish. They are blessed to have you lol . I told you that if I was a captured fish I'd be so happy to live in one of your tanks lol. They are all spoiled and fat lol hank you so much for allowing the public to see and know about these beautiful fish. You can feel the passion they have for fish, promoting learning and awareness, and caring for their specimens. Viktor is patient and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge, teaching about fish varieties, their behavior, unique characteristics, and how they fit into their aquatic environments. You will see fish you cannot see anywhere else! Definitely need to make an appointment by calling Viktor, and plan to spend 2 hours for the full experience. Kids will love to feed the fish, and you'll have some wonderful photo opportunities. In the summer, try to get a morning appointment, as it gets warm after noon. Its all covered, so rain is not an issue. The tour is free, but donations are highly recommended to help keep this special experience operating for future visitors. This is truly a unique experience.

This place is a hidden gem. We got to feed different fish but one of my favorites was feeding the coifish and catfish by hand. The fish are incredible; truly a collection you could never find elsewhere. As a lifelong fish hobbyist, I absolutely loved seeing the beautiful and massive fish specimens, but also appreciated learning about the design and filtration of the massive tanks. Viktor is a true gentleman and was extremely generous with his time patiently answering all the questions we had and allowed us to stay during feeding time. We are blessed that he has set up this public attraction here in S. Florida to rescue and adequately care for some specimens that require these massive tanks. Please support him to help with ongoing operating cost and expansion projects he is working on. I definitely want to return at a later date to see the 10,000 gallon tank when completed.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent visit for families. The owner Viktor has a passion for freshwater fish and has turned his hobby of rescuing these animals into an educational experience for all. He has (hundreds?) of fish of all sizes on display in tanks and displays that he has designed himself. On our tour he spent two hours walking us through his tanks, explaining the biology of each species, the story of how he came to acquire them, and answering our questions. We were able to pet a jelly catfish, and the kids loved getting to feed the big fish! Be sure to call Viktor to make sure he is available, and I'm sure you will enjoy this unique experience.
