Experiencia fantástica: What a fantastic experience was a recent wedding we attended at the Aquarium. The table cards had this banquet company’s logo, so I’m figuring they are the aces behind the seamless flow and excellent food throughout the event. We were interested and excited when we got the invite — we hadn’t been to a wedding in an unusual space before and it promised to be a fun one. And it was! From the 3-year-old flower girl in our party up through us older guests, everyone had the best time, not only with the wedding elements but also exploring the aquarium itself. And there was delicious food at every stage: champagne with strawberries greeting us at the entry, a drink station handy before the service with water & cocktails, passed appetizers during the photo hour that were surprisingly varied and worth spoiling your appetite for ( the shrimp, mini beef Wellington and tiny sliders — especially yum!), plus an amazing charcuterie spread and a grilled cheese station (with tiny teacups of tomato’s soup!) with covered seating nearby, while the dining room was set up. The dinner buffet was classic wedding fare but chicken wasn’t dry (a pet peeve of some, I know) and the sliced beef was shockingly tender and delicious. Dessert was ridiculously generous — tiered trays of sweets (so good that our table snuck many extras home) and a truly great strawberry wedding cake. We know the couple isn’t rolling in dough and are newbies to planning a function like this, moving people from one area to another with effortless flow, so suspect pretty much all the excellent efficiency must be credited to the catering company and tgat it’s competitively priced for venues like this. We shared our table with family members who have a wide (and wealthy) social circle and attend multiple weddings each year. Even they were vocally impressed and really enjoyed themselves. I’ll also add that the catering staff were universally lovely and great at their jobs, genuine smiles and always there when you needed something. Bravo to them!

Experiencia fantástica: We had our wedding this past weekend August 9th and it was amazing! between Christina and Joanna they just made everything so easy and comfortable for us. Christina took care of every detail answered every email I just couldn’t ask for a better experience. The day of the wedding the venue was decorated better than I envisioned. All the guest enjoyed the food and place.

Experiencia fantástica: We had our wedding at Atlantis 12/12/24 and it was a magical Christmas wedding! They do one event at a time We did cocktail hour in the aquarium and reception in the sea star ballroom They have wedding showcases throughout the year which we went to a few of them and all of them were fabulous! We want to thank Craig who sat with us day 1 and went over everything in detail. His passion for his job and Atlantis was one of the reasons we chose the venue as well. Staff are amazing at Atlantis each and every person ! The Hyatt is also next door- shout out to Suzanne who helped with our room blocks and made everything so easy ! Great communication and so kind! Atlantis also does valet parking for the event! The food is delicious! And the grounds are immaculate! My favorite part is that they decorated for the season and just made it even that more magical! Atlantis you have a great staff and the grounds and the aquarium are beautiful . Everyone went above and beyond our guests are still talking about our wedding! You made us all feel like family and everyone was welcoming from the beginning ! Thank you for making our Christmas wedding so sparkly and magical! The experience was truly magical and unique! Experiencia fantástica: The event was good. My grandchildren loved it. Just a suggestion: The egg hunt was a little confusing. It stated a Penquin egg hunt. Maybe there was supposed to be more explanation when checking in but we were looking for the penquin (a person) and eggs. All the eggs were empty. There other families with the same confusion and then I realized maybe there is a place to turn them in for something. I also realized we are in the "penquin" animal area not looking for a walking penquin. We did finally find everything but I think there should be a little more information on this part of the event. Thank you for. a great time.

Experiencia positiva: My wife ,mother in law and 3 sons(18,11, 6) went to the 12pm brunch on easter..everything was great and going into the aquarium after was just awesome..We origianally had another idea and we our so happy now that it didnt work out..My wife mentioned here after and we really couldnt of been happier, thank you for a great time and great memories for all of us...We will definetly be back and recommend to anyone, The Heitmanns

Experiencia fantástica: Our table had 6 people and we had a wonderful time. Wishing it was a little more organized regarding a few things, but overall it was a fun and delicious evening.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing time! I was not sure what to expect at this princess tea party, but it was the most fun i've had in a while. My 3.5 yr old granddaughter hit the dance floor immediately and didn't stop. It was well run and organized, and I can't wait to attend another one!

Experiencia positiva: The princess tea party was a bit of a disappointment. The staff was excellent, but that was about it. We spent 80% of the time standing on line to take photos with the princesses, which my daughter didn’t want to do, so we paid $112 to sit at the table for most of the time. To top it off, the “tea sandwiches” were supermarket ham and cheese on white bread. I was under the assumption that there would be more dancing and singing and interaction with the princesses. Definitely not worth the cost.

Experiencia positiva: Such a beautifully done event! From the beautiful princesses and how much they interacted with all the kids. To the beautiful set up. My daughter truly felt like a princess. Wait staff was very sweet and attentive as well. Only thing I would change slightly was the food. Cute idea and beautiful plates but not tasty.

Experiencia fantástica: We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We wanted a wedding that not only gave us the opportunity to express our unique vision as a couple but one that allowed our guests to have their own experience as they explored the aquarium and dined with the best backdrop ever, the tanks! Craig was amazing. He went above and beyond in many ways for us and we both formed a quick bond with him upon meeting. The venue plus Craig, we had no doubts where we were booking our wedding and both delivered in every way we imagined. Staff, food, experience all top notch. If you were wavering in your decision, let me just say, book it!

Experiencia fantástica: The ballroom is spacious with a great view. Brunch was great and the 2 hour seating was just right. In case you happen to run a little late due to tiny children - there is still plenty of time to eat. The food choices were nicely varied with something for everyone. In addition everything was delicious. The Santa photo shoot area was perfect. Just what we were looking for. A new tradition for us with our grandchildren.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away. they ruined my daughters wedding. Total disorganization. The matre d did not follow any instructions that were previously made with the event organizer. My daughters bridal attendant was no where to be found for crucial direction that was needed for the bridal party. They made her lose an hour of reception time because they were so disorganized and confused. They ignored her vision that was discussed many times prior to my wedding. my day was filled with disappointment and anxiety. They did not offer any consolation and did not reprimand any of the staff for the mix up and confusion. A guests car was broken into because of where they valet parked the cars. beware. so many things went wrong on my daughters wedding day because of the staff . look elsewhere to have your wedding. you will wind up in tears- trust me.

Experiencia fantástica: SO incredibly happy with the Atlantis seastar ballroom! We got married here 11/9/24. Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive from the Matra d, the captain, to the bridal attendant we couldn't be happier. Anything we needed they were there. Our families raved about the food! They were shocked at how big the steaks were! This venue was perfect for us and very convenient for anyone getting ready at a hotel with the Hyatt being right next door! No limbo or party bus needed, I absolutely loved that. And our out of town family was able to relax at the hotel before going to our wedding right next door. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT!!!

Experiencia negativa: We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the aquarium which was great. The communication was mediocre but that didn’t bother my wife and I as much. The real issue was the hotel (owned by the name people) didn’t have the rooms ready for many of my guests an hour after check in. Worst than that, they lost our cake topper the day after the wedding. They refused to deliver it after their mistake and forced us to drive to retrieve it. When I called to address this, their event planner refused to call me back. For all the money spent here, it’s embarrassing that they can’t get it together.

Experiencia fantástica: This was the amazing experience! I brought my 2 daughters (6 years old and 8 years old). It was my 6 year old’s birthday party. She was so incredibly happy. Princess Jasmine is her favorite and she stayed with my daughter practically the whole time because my daughter got overwhelmed. Princess Jasmine made her so happy and made a memory we will never forget. This absolutely magical!

Experiencia negativa: Had heard good things from friends from the prior years of fish & sips. Was disappointed with only 2 food tables and much less vendors from prior years. Wasn’t worth the $ in all honesty

Experiencia fantástica: From our initial tour of the venue, we knew that Atlantis Banquets and Events was where we wanted to have our wedding. If you are looking for an incredibly unique experience, this is it: The venue overlooks the water so guests were able to watch the sunset over the water during cocktail hour, and then, everyone moved inside to the Long Island Aquarium where they were able to dance and dine amongst the fish tanks. The aquarium transformed that evening into what felt like an enchanting underwater forest. Atlantis has an in-house caterer, and the food was exquisite. We received comments from guests who are notoriously picky eaters, and they said this was the first wedding where they’ve been able to eat (and enjoy) the food! There was a huge team working the evening of our wedding, and they kept everything running smoothly. The staff were all incredibly professional and kind throughout the night. We worked with Joan and Bryan throughout the planning process, and they were absolutely wonderful. They were responsive, detailed, and helpful throughout the year as we planned and finalized event details. They also helped us coordinate our after party AND our hotel block (both within a few steps of the venue). I truly think Atlantis Banquets and Events, and the Long Island Aquarium, is a hidden gem of event venues on Long Island. The location is stunning and conveniently located in downtown Riverhead, the venue is so unique and beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is wonderful. Take a tour of the venue – You won’t regret it!

Experiencia fantástica: Atlantis Banquets and Events. Where do I even begin? Just had our wedding there on 10-6-24 and OMG we truly lived a fairytale on that day! Our guests could not stop talking about how unique this venue is and everybody including us had a blast! You will not be disappointed if you choose this place as your venue, I promise! I would get married here a second time and do this all over again, I wish I could relive 10-6-24 all over again! The staff and food were fantastic and it is just a beautiful aquarium overall!

Experiencia fantástica: We attended the Princess Tea Party with our 3 and a half year old granddaughter. What a great event! She was smiling non-stop, from her first glimpse of the princesses! The pure joy on her face as she danced with them is magical! I would highly recommend this activity!

Experiencia fantástica: Brunch on Mother's Day was spectacular! Food was amazing and the sea otters were truly special!

Experiencia negativa: My family and I have attended your Mother’s Day brunch many times, this year as well. Last year was the best buffet, multi rooms and an amazing assortment of food, a real salute to moms. This year, however, wow, what a big disappointment. It looks like it was thrown together with as little effort and cost as possible. As far as food choices go I’ve seen bigger buffets at Denny’s. For $85 a person plus the cost of parking, we really got taken and this was an insult to moms in attendance. What a loss! We really look forward to this every year. I recommended the buffet to a friend I work with and I dread seeing her the next time we work together. I owe her an apology. It looks like you put in no effort and we weren’t the only ones that noticed it all the people around us felt the same way. We’ve done everything including our daughter’s Sweet 16 there and have been visiting for the past 10 years and sadly we will do something else for Mother’s Day next year and hopefully you’ll get your act together in 2026. Don’t skimp on mom’s… the buffet was insulting but of course the aquarium and being with my family was amazing. What were you thinking?

It's the perfect choice for couples who want a wow factor for their big day!

Experiencia negativa: Brunch had a very limited selection. Food was not being replenish property and service could have been much better. We were disappointed, I attended the Chocovino event and that was amazing, this was not.

Experiencia positiva: I was not impressed by the Easter Brunch. For the amount of money your paying I would have thought it would be better. The Birchwood serves a much smaller crowd and yet they have more then double the selection that the gigantic Atlantis ballroom had!. It's to bad because we do enjoy going to the aquarium but won't do this Brunch again...

Experiencia fantástica: This was my second brunch here and it was just as good this second time. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great holiday brunch! We’ll be back for Mother’s Day again this year. Thank you for a wonderful Easter meal.

Experiencia fantástica: It was such a great event. The food was delicious and my granddaughter had fun at the aquarium and especially her visit with the princesses. Such a wonderful event that we will eagerly attend again.

Experiencia negativa: Samantha is the worst planner ever. She has a really terrible attitude and doesn't know how to treat customers looking to pay a lot of money to book at this place. I asked about changing a few arrangements and she said that she doesn't know how and that it's not her job to do so... isn't that the point of planner? Completely ruined the possibility of me even considering booking here ever again. Go to The Mansion in Oyster Bay instead.

Experiencia fantástica: Every aspect of the Fish & Sips event went beautifully! My wife and I attended last year and we brought another couple with us this time around. They loved it as much as we did and they look forward to joining us next year. There was even an iced tea vendor for those who preferred not to consume alcohol or those who had enough. Perhaps more than one soft drink table in the future? All of the passed hors'deurves were plentiful and delicious. The band downstairs and the guitarist upstairs provided just the right mix of good music as well. This will be a yearly tradition for us.

Experiencia fantástica: Unique venue, great service. Overall a great time. I had the pleasure of working with Joan, at the early stages of my wedding planning. I also worked with Bryan as the wedding grew closer. My husband and I got married on wedding there on August 13, 2023. From the moment that we saw the venue we knew that this was the place where we wanted to have our wedding. We both love sea life, the place was so unique to host a wedding there. Atlantis Baquents and events also has a traditional ball room as well, however we wanted to have our reception inside the aquarium. We got married outside on the riverside pavilion. Although it was an hot day it was manageable. The cocktail hour was set up around the koi pond as well as inside the Riverfront room. My captain and Bridal attendant where just wonderful. They made sure my wedding day went smoothly, and where there when ever I needed them. It was a hot day and the captain and Bridal attendant made sure to pass out water to all of the bridal party during the photo session. The Food was excellent, we did a taco station for cocktail hour and it was so good. For dinner we did the buffet so everyone had a option to choose what they liked. Seeing the table set up and the atmosphere was amazing. All of our guests had a great time.

Experiencia positiva: We’ve been to Winter and Spring Brunches here and loved them. We were so excited to see one for Mother’s Day. That said, I wish we had done something different. Word must be out because it was so crowded. Hard to even move around and see the exhibits. We had to skip the butterflies just because of the long line! They moved the food down the hall. This made it very inconvenient to make plates for children and elderly companions. My step mother in a wheel chair couldn’t even see the food it was up so high. But the dining room was filled this time so I’m sure it was monetary decision. The sacrifice was the flow. Too hot, too many people, extra expense s they offer free like the treehouse were severely policed this time and the rock climbing wall wasn’t even manned. There was no marsh, and the penguins weren’t even safe to come outside. Bad management all around. Probably won’t be back. Certainly not at that price point.

Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful brunch! Beautiful room. Food was delicious French toast and salmon were wonderful! A very nice selection especially the donuts and pastries our server was wonderful. Didn’t get his name but we were at table 37 10am seating. Shout out to him! Best holiday brunch we’ve been to and we will absolutely be back for the next one. Thank you for a wonderful time ‍♀️

Experiencia fantástica: I booked my daughter's baby shower at Atlantis Banquets & Events and can't say enough as to how wonderful the service was. It was a beautiful experience. Loved the everything about it, the food, staff, way they had the room fixed with the tables. It was better than I expected. Beautiful experience, great atmosphere. I look forward to doing more events there. It was worth every penny.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been attending these CHOCOVINO events off and on throughout the years, to mostly rave reviews from the evening’s date and I. Unfortunately this time was good, but not great. This time we weren’t able to select the specific (preferred) seating. In the grotto near the shark tanks are arguably the best seats in the house. The flavor of each dishes was sensual yet delicate. The presence of chocolate was pronounced enough to excite the palate whilst intermingling with wellpaired splashes of wine betrays bites. This could have been a 5 star experience if not for 2 shortcomings. • In years prior, one of the more memorable parts of the event was the welcoming. After completing the necessary formalities, and a brief stroll passed the waterfall. You’re met by a banquet table filled to the brim with a sizable selection of chocolate covered goodies. Everything from safe fan favorites (fruit & nuts) to much more daring offerings (such as garlic bread & crispy bacon. Which was highly appreciated due to the relaxed manner by which they brought out each dish. This time however, it felt like a mad dash to get the plates out and sweep them clean in the next wave. It was ashame, I felt uneasy leaving the table for fear they would make off with my half-eaten entree. This was made worse by the absence the beloved banquet table. Instead, it seamed to have been replaced by a cash bar. Which leads us to the last star lost. •In only a few short years, I feel as if the quality of the overall experience dramatically diminished. That wouldn’t be the worst if the price of entry reflected such. Sadly, that’s not the case. It shouldn’t cost almost $500 (after tax) to treat your Valentine to a nice evening out, especially when it’s a prefix menu. For perspective a few years prior you got the better experience no tacky cash bar at the upscale event AND included a stay at the hotel next door… all for $100 less. This money would’ve been better spent at Insignia Steakhouse in my humble opinion.

Experiencia fantástica: (Chocovino valentines wine and chocolate pairing- 2/10/23) When we arrived, there were a few things that we thought would spoil the night, for example our names were not “on the list” and we were clearly penciled in, after confirming our purchase, and given the last (number) table. That didn’t bother us, until we were almost seated in, what I would consider, the worst possible spot- away from everything by a black curtain. On my way to the restroom I ran into the woman that completely changed the night for us. I asked if someone didn’t show up, if we could move seats to a better one. Christina, who I assume was a manager of some sort, moved our table immediately to a central location, made us feel unproblematic (lol), and definitely made an unnecessary effort to make us have a good time. What an awesome person. Christina deserves a raise. What a truly professional and sweet person. Our waiter, Hugo, was also both incredible AND hilarious. These two employees made the night more memorable than the food (which was delicious). We had a great time, the wine and food were fantastic- but like I mentioned, the night would have been completely different without Christina and Hugo.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter, my granddaughter and I had a wonderful time. Finger sandwiches and dessert were delicious! All the princesses were super sweet. It was a beautiful day!

Experiencia fantástica: I attended the New Year’s Eve party with my husband, my 8yr old, my 6 yr old and my 4th year old!! We all had a great time!! The organization of the event was amazing!! The music, the food, the service in general was top!! My only suggestion would be to distribute the NYE prompts at the entrance with the champagne!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time! It's a fun family event. I love that we were able to see some of the animals up close. We also love the way they set up the tables so that you are surrounded by the fish. There's arts & crafts for the kids as well. This is our 2nd time attending this event & we will definitely come back in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I got married at Atlantis on September 11,2022. Everything went perfect even with a little rain our day was perfect thank you to the staff! We had an issue with our florist being almost two hours late and the staff was absolutely amazing at figuring it out without having to involve me and get me worried that they weren’t here. Our bridal attendants and everyone who worked with us that day were absolutely amazing. Everyone has said nothing but amazing things about the food as well. Many have said it was the best salmon they have ever had including my 93 year old grandpa who loves seafood. Craig and Bryan were absolutely the best to work with planning our wedding. And we can’t thank you enough for your dj and photographer recommendations as well. They were both amazing as well. We had to last minute change location of our ceremony due to the weather and everyone was super helpful with that whole process. The bridal attendant staff went above and beyond for us from the first hour of the day to the end of the reception. We can’t thank you all enough and we look forward to using you for any future events we might have and we will be recommending you to family and friends as well. Experiencia positiva: Have been going to Fish & Sips for 8 years now. The passed hors d'oeuvres are not what they used to be. Most were dry and not very good. Used to have a great band that played in the Aquarium that got everyone dancing, not so much last few years. But the wine, craft beer & craft cocktails were great!

Experiencia fantástica: We just had our wedding with Atlantis and it was a day we will always remember. Everything went so smooth, the staff was quick and super nice. Big shout out for our Captain Scott and Bridal Attendant Christine for being so on point. We didn’t have to worry about anything because these 2 were always there to help.The location is unique and beautiful, Bryan and Joan made the whole process before the big day super easy. The food was amazing and all the guests complimented us on the whole wedding. I can’t say enough great things and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for a day/night we will forever remember.

Experiencia fantástica: We had our Covid-delayed reception at the Aquarium in April, and our experience with Atlantis was absolutely wonderful! We initially booked in 2020 for our reception in 2021, but decided to push the reception back to 2022 because of Covid. Craig and Bryan were fantastic to work with, and made moving our date another year out so seamless and easy. Food was great, and the experience on the day of was incomparable! The staff were all so kind and helpful, particularly Scott, Gabriella, and Liz—they were all so attentive to us and our guests, and were absolutely lovely to work with. We are so happy we went with such a fun, beautiful facility for our reception, and will absolutely recommend it in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. Everything, from the staff to the food, exceeded my expectations. My husband and I worked with Joan and Bryan in the months leading up to the big day, and they were wonderful. Their professionalism and amiability put me at ease, and I can honestly say — as the bride — I was never all that stressed during the planning process. I'd also like to give a shout-out to all the staff members who worked our wedding the night-of. My bridal assistant was fantastic, always checking in and asking if my husband or I needed anything. She even got us some extra entrees to take back to the hotel room. Also, towards the end of the night, I noticed my pearl bracelet (an old family heirloom) had broken. My bridesmaids worked with some staff to search the floor, and we ended up finding 5/6 of the missing pearls! The care and conscientiousness of each and every staff member did not go unnoticed, and I definitely recommend Atlantis to anyone getting married on Long Island. Many guests came up to my husband and I to compliment Atlantis as well — in terms of the pure uniqueness of the venue, how delicious the food was, and how great the staff members were. Thanks to this venue and its very caring staff, my husband and I had a truly wonderful and unforgettable wedding.

Experiencia fantástica: We had our wedding here on April 2, 2022. Our wedding day was everything we could have imagined, and more. Atlantis was a pleasure to work with, communicated promptly and effectively. They are super flexible with planning and were always willing to answer any questions and help however they could. We absolutely loved working with Joan and Bryan to help our vision come to life. Scott was our captain the day of and he absolutely killed it, everything ran so smoothly (at least as far as we could tell)! We had a REALLY big wedding, and Scott and the rest of his team were able to coordinate the timing down to the minute, and stick to it! Shout out to Liz, the best bridal attendant ever- we always had a full glass, food in front of us, and she was willing to do anything we asked. The food, both during cocktail hour, and the plated entrees were to DIE for. We are still having people reach out weeks after telling us how great the food was, and how great the bartenders, and wait staff were at each table. We are soooo grateful for all of the time and energy that Atlantis Banquets and Events put into our special day. Can't recommend this venue enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my niece to the Princess tea party this past Sunday for her birthday and I could not be happier with the experience. From the moment you walk in you are transported into a princess wonderland. All the princesses were amazing they were kind and patient and always in character. My nieces nor myself stopped smiling the entire time. Thank you to Aurora who suggested to sing happy birthday to my niece she watches that video over and over. I look forward to hopefully doing this again with her. If I had to make one critique it would be there was no time to actually enjoy sitting at the table for tea, but not a big deal.

Experiencia fantástica: I was blown away at how amazing the Princess Tea Party was. My party had children age ranges from 2-5 and it was magical for everyone. All of the princesses remained in character beautifully and were funny, engaging, kind, caring, and actively playing with the children. This tea party was a perfect balance of sit down, photos, dance, and interactions. I was very impressed from the phone call of booking to the end of the event. The wait staff was accommodating and kind as well. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone without reservations. With a world of COVID, it has been hard to keep the magic and creativity alive for young children. I think that this type of experience is what all kids need. A break from reality and to step into another world where there are no worries and just love. Thank you for providing us with this experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Santa brunch at Long Island aquarium was such a great event! The whole family had a great time. Food was delicious, they had a large selection to choose from. Santa was great too. Each family had plenty of time to take a family photo with Santa. We would definitely do this again.

Experiencia fantástica: I was beyond impressed with A) the helpfulness of managers and responding to requests. B) the overall experience. This was truly amazing. The Princesses were so nice! And truly friendly. My 3 year old loved every minute and so did I❤️. After going to Sesame Place this summer. I had very low expectations with service. I was seriously blown away. The sandwiches and dessert were great but honestly just so pleased with the atmosphere, music, games… amazing we will be back. Thank you and so happy this is so local!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Fish and Sips 2021 was well organized and a fun time. My only complaint was the live music at the event. This was our 3rd time attending Fish and Sips. The first time back in 2018 they had an incredible classic rock party band that was so much fun. In 2019 they had a solo acoustic guy which was ok. This year the duo was boring imo. I would like to see a full party band for future Fish and Sips. The one less star was for the live music, everything else was 5 star. A great time!

Experiencia positiva: Wedding here was fun. The waitstaff were attentive, safely masked and gloved. Ceremony and cocktails were outdoors and tented. The only dilemma was that there were not enough cocktail tables and chairs. Can you imagine wearing your high heels and just standing for more than an hour...Had hubby track down staff to bring chairs to a bunch of us. Our 7 year old Lil minnow enjoyed looking into all the tanks and going near the bathroom to see the huge shark tanks! Tanks a lot!

Experiencia fantástica: We just got married at the Sea Star Ballroom Memorial Day weekend 2021. We can say it truly exceeded all expectations, and expectations were high as we both felt it was the “perfect” venue when we found it! We picked our venue and date in the middle of the COVID-unknowns. Any questions, concerns or thoughts we had were listened to, respected and answers provided. This was a time of uncertainty however the Atlantis Banquets & Events team made us feel supported and certain throughout the process. The team made us feel like we were the priority and whatever we wanted and felt comfortable with was the priority. Initially I met with Joan who was wonderful; such a kind, patient and sweet woman to work with in the beginning of wedding planning. Next we worked with Bryan who was great as well! I had a lot of questions and changes, literally leading up to the night before the wedding (due to last minute RSVP changes) and he was always responsive, kind and patient with me! Due to COVID they did not host their bridal showcase however we trusted that everything would go well. We did not have the opportunity to try any of the food before selecting anything and everything was delicious! Our guests all raved about the cocktail hour menu and the options to choose from at dinner - which were all so tasty! Our bridal attendant, Liz, was a meant to be fit for our wedding. I couldn’t imagine someone filling that position better than she did, she was a friend throughout the night and truly went above and beyond my expectations for a bridal attendant. She was so kind, attentive, caring and observant. Always one step ahead of everything else (in a good way!). I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal attendant by my side. The whole team at the venue that night out together a great event and ensured everything went smoothly for our special day! Everyone was constantly thinking and trying to do the best for us, including Christina when she thought outside the box for a cake “topper” which I loved her idea and appreciated the thought! I would definitely recommend Atlantis Banquets and Events for your next event, you won’t be disappointed.

The entire team was so accommodating especially during this tough time, to all of our needs.I would give them 10 stars if i could. From the Banquet manager to the crew that served us that night everyone was professional and went out of their way to make sure my daughter had the sweet 16 of her dreams! The food was excellent and my guests raved about it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing event.

Experiencia fantástica: Caryn was fantastic to work with, thorough, attentive and responsive. We hammered out the floor plan and the room was set up accurately when I arrived. There was an issue with how close the tables were to the dance floor when I arrived at the venue around 2pm. Lori and Diane, without hesitation, reassured me that it was an easy fix, and they moved the tables to expand the dance floor by about 20%. Lori and Diane couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating the entire night. There was a misunderstanding of the time we had the venue. The contract read 7-10pm, but all of our promotional material said 8-11. When Lori realized this at about 8pm, she worked with your staff to allow us to use the room until 11pm at no additional charge. I can't thank you enough for this. If she hadn't solved this problem, it would have ruined our event. We are so grateful for your generosity. Another issue was that we didn't realize was then when we didn't take the valet package, that the Hyatt parking lot wouldn't be available. Lori worked with us to get the gate open so our aging attendees had ample parking nearby. We had several walk ins that hadn't RSVP'd. Rather than turn them away, Lori and Diane staged and set up another table for us 7 minutes before show time. Lastly, we didn't realize a coat check wasn't included. Again, Lori rose to the occasion and reassigned one of her staff to create a coat check for us. At 10:45, as everyone was clearing out, and breaking down, Lori and Diane were still problem solving, and treating us with kindness. This is an incredible venue, and an even more wonderful staff. We couldn't be happier with the service we received, the look of the room, and the price we negotiated. Thank you very much for helping us end the year on a very high note, with a wonderful fundraiser than nearly 300 people got to enjoy.

Experiencia negativa: We were invited to a bar Mitzvah at the hall. Our assigned table had no seats remaining. We asked for a maitre D to explain the problem he ran off never to be seen again. We waited a half hour asked for him again he never showed. We asked for a manager, again waited and a no show. After an hour of watching our friends party and persons at tables ordering their food choices we took our children and left the affair. Clearly the staff here is either disorganized or does not care about customer service. That in itself is reason enough to not give them my business.

Experiencia negativa: I will begin my review but advising I am in the industry & have been for 15+ years & that I had made this known to all parties prior to & on the day of our event. (wedding planner) I can now officially say I have been on both sides of the experience. I knew going into this that not everything would go according to plan & that expectations of "perfection" were far from reality & of course took as many measures as humanly possible in hopes to avoid those most commonly known. However knowing what I know & expectation I hold my myself & my team to as "the bride" I was extremely disappointed & disheartened with how my husband & I were treated on our 08-18-18 wedding day. There are several factors that have resulted in my rating. I will only name a few: Instructions were neglected (something as simple as not placing supplied pens with our scrapbook resulted in no notes from our guests) Bustled my own gown as the BA did not know how & our bridal party had already joined cocktail. Matire 'D & BA were M-I-A leaving our photographers & party to navigate the Aquarium & attempt to manage where to go for our images with the animals it was a lovely little guessing game. Just before the ceremony we walked in circles trying to find where the bridal suite was within the Aquarium as we had never been shown where it was located. Not once did anyone on staff pop their heads in to check if we were okay if we needed anything prior to the ceremony perhaps we left something at the hotel needed hairspray, a bobby pin,or even a DRINK of water? The Atlantis team was so far behind with prepping the reception area that cocktail hour went over by 30 mins which means everything else would now be rushed. (Knowing this is a pitfall of being in the industry) We were 70 mins late before we even started the toast. It's not as though everything was set up outside & a huge gray cloud came out of nowhere I was advised at NOON everything would be moved & adjusted... (Hmm... we can't be the first wedding ever here... or the first time it's rained... can we?) I asked the BA "Can I please have a drink!?" That was the first & last I would see all night as not once was the groom or I checked on asked if we were OK or offered another beverage. The 2 bottles of Jameson we paid $66+ per bottle for as it was not included in any of the bar packages, & Atlantis wasn't flexible with swapping or throwing 1 in for the groom were "gone". In the event it did exist you'd think you'd see the bottle going down & place it to the side for the groom?No..Just me? Evidently we had a room captain? We met him once at the end of the night when everyone was looking for their envelopes which yes we still gave out undeservingly so even to spite standing within earshot of our bridal attendant speaking to our DJ (good friend & business partner) & hearing her say & I quote "This entire event has been a S#%* Show!" Ahh... Why yes little one it has been... Thank you & your colleagues for that. I will say although the Aquarium was aesthetically magnificent & the remainder of staff was attentive & did an adequate job (Waiter from Table 12 telling our family they were better off getting their own drinks from the bar as you were far too busy I didn't forget about you) I will say our guest had a wonderful time raved about the food & enjoyed a unique wedding venue experience & although the groom & I were not treated in the manner in which we had hoped, our items were returned back to us unwrapped broken & without care, and our calls and emails after were left unanswered we too had a lovely wedding day.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a beautiful wedding venue. Was here for a friends wedding. It’s views of the river are gorgeous and the grand stairs up to the main banquet hall are quite grandiose. The main banquet hall also has a terrace overlooking the river and the dock. I guess if you want a Long Island wedding - this would be a pretty sweet place. It’s good for a host of other events too, aka birthday parties Et al

Experiencia fantástica: I had my wedding on Setember 2, 2017. My husband and I could not be happier with how the entire wedding went! Danny, Beryl, Lori, Jayme, and the entire catering staff truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives! We had our ceremony in the seastar lobby, cocktail hour in the aquarium, and reception in the seastar ballroom. We had over 200 guests and everyone fit comfortably in every area of the party. Our guests can't stop raving about how cool and different it was to be among all of the fish and animals during cocktail hour! Not only was the ambiance amazing, the food was exceptional! The bacon bar was a hit! The reception was beautiful and the food did not disappoint. My husband and I sampled the steak, pork, and chicken and all were cooked to perfection! Jayme was an outstanding bridal attendant and went above and beyond to make every second of the wedding perfect. If anything did go wrong, my husband and I had no idea! Everyone in the staff was professional and kind and treated not only our families like they were their own, but also all of our guests! We also had an after party where the food was unbelievable as well! The venue is breathtaking and our pictures came out beautiful because of it. Throughout the entire wedding process from the minute we booked the wedding up until the day of, the sales team and catering staff answered all of my questions and gave great advice to make the day special. I would recommend this venue to everyone I know if they are looking for an unforgettable experience for themselves and their guests.
