Experiencia fantástica: Was an over all good experience. We camped at sight 50. Some trees were cut because of the last hurricane, but we took a canopy so all was good.

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff were very accommodating, bathrooms are clean, showers are hot, Wi-Fi is fast, and the campers were very friendly! If you’re looking for a home base to stay at while you ride the amazing roads of NC, I highly recommend this campsite

Llegamos en un momento delicado ,con un huracán azotando Estados Unidos, tan solos y lejos de Sevilla , España... June desde el primer momento fue amable y cordial al igual que toda la gente del camping que forman una comunidad maravillosa . En los momentos más difíciles no hemos estado solos , resguardados en la oficina con los demás campistas , ofreciéndonos comida ... Gente increíble, como si estuviéramos en familia Afortunadamente todo pasó sin problemas . Si algún día volviese por ahí no dudaría en volver mil veces Gracias por ser como sois. Un gran abrazo

Experiencia fantástica: The nicest people you could ask for. There are plenty of camping sites. The only problem currently is that the BRP is experiencing a lot of paving and bridge work making access different unless you have a reason for coming to this specific area.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome campground!!! Location is wonderful but the staff and cleanliness is what makes it above and beyond any other campground. Quietest place we’ve ever stayed.We were in a tent site and most of the time you would swear that you are the only people here. The bathhouse is setup more like a guest bathroom with chairs ,makeup vanity and full length mirror , much better than most bathhouses with that locker room feel. The people there are some of the friendliest people anywhere, they’re there for anything you need but they never bothered us or intruded on our vacation. Beautiful grounds and views all of the spaces are well spaced well kept with a couple fishing ponds playgrounds and activities in the store . Very pet friendly and our dog found it very relaxing as well. We have lived and raised our kids in this area several years ago, we have been to most of the campgrounds around here and stayed in many different campgrounds across the country ,this is by far one of the best

Experiencia fantástica: Miller’s will always hold a special place in our hearts. It’s one of the nicest, most peaceful, campgrounds we’ve ever been to! You cannot beat the location being right off the blue ridge parkway. We loved going to watch the sunset at Doughton park. I’ve never known a campground to be more well taken care of than here. The owners, Bill and Kaye, are very nice people and you can tell they really care about their campground and the people in it. We hope to make it back soon!

Experiencia positiva: The sites are on a hill. The only way you can pitch the tent is on a platform. The fire pit and picnic tables are in really bad shape. They charge $26 a night, and it's only $25 on the New River at TwinRivers Campground. I was really disappointed. We asked for a better site and it wasn't available as they only had ONE GOOD ONE. Very nice ppl, clean bathhouse.

Experiencia fantástica: Found this campsite looking for a place in the mountains. We are so happy we found it. It was peaceful and serene. Had a great relaxing week in June. We have booked another week in September for some more R&R. We had bear kept coming through at night leaving us "presents". Didn't bother anything at our site except for Sunday night I had forgotten to take trash to dumpster. He did rummage through it and scattered it around our site. We have a trash receptacle attached to our camper and I knew he was there about 1230am because I could feel the camper move. But we loved it there friendly people and very laid back. Can't wait to get back.

Experiencia fantástica: We have stayed at Miller's two years in a row. We tent camped. Wide open tent camping area. Wonderful view. Best bathhouse on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Experiencia fantástica: We love the campground convenient to Doughton Park, Bluff’s Restaurant, West Jefferson, and New River. The restrooms and showers are very clean. West Jefferson has a farmers market open on Saturdays from morning till 1 pm. Several antique shops, the Honey Hole and Ashe County Cheese.

Experiencia fantástica: We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I didn't catch her name, but the lady who checked us in was so helpful! We got lost trying to find gas near by and she helped us then too! The camp site was great, picnic table, fire pit and tent site. Parking for 1 vehicle by the tent. The sites are spread out enough you don't feel on top of other people! The bathhouse was very clean. I felt safe and we enjoyed our trip so much!

Experiencia positiva: Nice, quiet spot on side of Blue Ridge Parkway. Pond for fishing, store for snacks and some local memorabilia type stuff. Need to have your supplies before you get there. There is a room for groups in the barn. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bath house is older but well stocked and clean. We had RV, wifi is available.

Experiencia positiva: Great setting 3400 feet high up the Blue ridge parkway. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Call them for reservations. clean Bath house. Washer and dryer. Wifi works. Very annoying lawn care noise for hours and days. Cutting grass even though not necessary as seen one the picture. Now 7 pm and still weed whacking.

Experiencia fantástica: I stayed in a tent space with a motorcycle pull behind tent trailer. Tent site had a perfect leveled out spot. Everyone was curious but super friendly. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Experiencia fantástica: Quiet, peaceful, plenty of space for the kids to play. Swing sets, and 2 ponds for fishing. Bathhouse is clean with showers and toilets. Site 50 has electric and water, it's the group site, the other 3 tent sites are primitive and only for 1 tent each. Owners are super friendly, have ice and wood (honor system after hours) and some drinks and snacks inside the office.

Experiencia fantástica: We checked in for one night and I talked the wife into staying another two nights. The area was absolutely beautiful. Took nephew down to the pond to catch a fish for the first time in his life... he will never forget that. Sad that they close for the Winter. I think that would be the perfect place for a winter retreat.

Pet friendly. Low light pollution so lots of stars at night. Plenty of shady spots and some very cool tent sites. In business since 1967!

Experiencia fantástica: Loved it, felt right at home there. They have an old dairy barn and silo that's been converted into an office/store were campers meet in the early evening and share stories and get to know each other. It's unique, it's full of antiques and even includes an old wood fired stove for the nippy nights, and the sodas all come in glass bottles. The strangest thing the moment we walked in we felt like family, it usually takes me a bit to warm up to people. The bath house and laundry have excellent water pressure. Beautiful views of the mountains and valley.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I stayed here during our bicycle tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was AMAZING! The family that runs the campground are extremely nice and accommodating. It was actually hard for us to ride out in the morning, we wanted to stay another night!

Experiencia fantástica: I was biking through on the BRP and it had been raining for days. I was ready to get under some shelter and dry out so I rented one of the apartments for the night. It was better than any hotel or air bnb I have ever stayed in. Not only were the accommodations incredible, the owners are even better! I didn’t have any real food, so they made a little extra out of their family dinner and brought it to me. You can tell these are genuinely nice people who care about their guests. I will be returning at some point when the weather is better!

This was my best stay all week! Very clean! Excellent conditions! Very excited I found this campground and town! Winery up the road and great restaurant full of very nice people! Experiencia fantástica: My parents and I first stayed at Miller's when I was about 5 years old. I am now 55 years old. It became a tradition that every year we would spend the 4th of July week at Miller's. I always looked forward to the stay. Some of the best times of my life were spent there.
