Experiencia negativa: Absolutely deplorable business and even worse customer service. I ordered a group of gold mystery snails and after about a week I reached out because I had not gotten any shipping updates. Soon after I received an email saying they may not be able to ship my order due to production or shipping delays and if it doesn't ship "today" they will cancel the order. Magically, they were able to ship that same day. I received them and all were alive but very dirty. After acclimating them I added them to my planted tank. Mystery snails do not typically eat living plants (remember this, it's important). When they emerged, they did not look like mystery snails but I thought maybe it was a variance in color. Then after a couple days, they had ripped through and decimated every plant in my tank. I'm not talking about a little nibble or accidental uproot, they devoured whole leaves and stems. That's when I went to talk to experts and conduct a little research of my own. Turns out they were apple snails, an invasive species that are even illegal to ship across some state lines due to their ecosystem-destroying nature. I had to email them twice to get a response. See photo attached for their response of sorry, we issued a credit to your account and they look like apple snails. Mind you, they don't even sell these things. I asked what about all my plants they destroyed and they said sorry they don't cover specimens from other facilities. Have yet to hear back but their phone number does not work and I'm pretty sure they work on a 1 day on, 7 days off schedule (or they're so bogged down replying to every other unhappy customer). It appears they were not going to originally ship them because they more than likely did not have them in stock but then someone had the genius idea to just send anything they had so they can run my card. It's just bad business.

Experiencia positiva: Had a Bad encounter my First time Buying from them. I've gave them another chance, and so far they have been my go to Fish store. Bought a Blue face angel, Tessalata Ee. And a Few Mono's. They all have been delivered in excellent shape. They also Do a great job with Boxing they're fish Also.
Experiencia negativa: Bought 3 saltwater fish.( Returning customer after couple of years). This place is going out of business soon! Shipment was delayed by UPS (shipping paperwork was created at 6.30pm.) never got the shipping confirmation. Had to call was told it was delayed by a day. Sent me a email with tracking number & promise to take care of any issues. Got the package with one fish missing, one dead & other too lethargic (died in quarantine this morning). Tried several times by phone , after waiting half hour they put me to voice mail & now it’s even full! Emailed also with pictures & no reply. Finally got tired & filled a dispute with CC company. Experiencia fantástica: I have made more than a few orders from LiveAquaria and I have been very pleased every time! Every order I have always put notes attached for certain sizes and they have always read them because I have always gotten exactly what I ordered! I did a follow-up call for a few orders and spoke with Mrs. Shari from customer service and she is outstanding! She is very professional, very knowledgable and very helpful! She took her time out to walk me through their website and assist me in making the proper notes for ordering what I want. She even looked up my order and told me that the manager made additional notes for my order to assist me in getting the 1" juvenile fish! Thank you so much Mrs. Shari and LiveAquaria for everything! I will definitely keep buying from LiveAquaria and would recommend them to anyone!
Experiencia fantástica: I was initially hesitant to purchase from LiveAquaria because of the negative reviews. However, I am more than impressed with my experience. After buying a flameback angel, I was informed that it would ship on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. I also received an email stating that they would notify me of any shipping delays caused by weather or other issues. The fish was shipped promptly on Tuesday via UPS and delivered this morning at 11 AM. It was packaged securely in an insulated box with clean water. My fish arrived in perfect condition and acclimated well. He is currently in a hospital tank for observation. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely return if I need more fish in the future. Thank you for a great transaction!
Experiencia negativa: This used to be a great website a decade ago. I heard a rumor it was purchased by Petco and it’s been downhill for about the last 10 years with missing/ partial orders. Fish in poorly packed bags.

Experiencia negativa: I have ordered from their Divers Den in the past and had no issues but 2 weeks ago I ordered a single yellow clown goby. After ordering, I received no communication of any kind (no order confirmation and no shipping notification). I had no idea it had shipped so I wasn't home at the time and looking at your orders on their website doesn't give any tracking info either. I got home, noticed the box and quickly went to open it. Unsurprisingly the fish was DOA with absolutely no padding for the bag. It was just a single fish bag in a big box and was probably sliding all around for 24 hours. I went through their DOA process and got store credit back. I waited to see some sort of balance on my account but it never showed up. After rereading the email about the store credit I saw that they don't show you your store credit and it's just on file for them and you need to still put in card info and just put the request in the notes section. They very clearly do not want to use store credit if they don't have to and I'm sure many people didn't notice that and ended up having their cards charged. Finally got my 2nd order in (using the store credit) and then get an email saying that it'll be delayed and shipped 4 days later. No explanation. Now its supposed to ship today and I get an email saying: "We apologize that we were unable to ship the order as requested due to production or shipping delays. We will continue to hold your order open until 04/30/25. If we cannot fill this order by that date, the order will be cancelled." Now they're just going to cancel the order? And the money will go back to being store credit? So I'm still down $70 and no fish? I really don't want to go through this process a 3rd a time and just want my money back. They also do not answer their phone (it just times out after 15 minutes of being on hold). They clearly do not care about customer service and just want to scam customers out of their money and keep them in this loop forever.

Prompt update, fair description of the dish, second delivery package arrived well put together fish were healthy and active and look beautiful! Very happy with my first order and I will most like buy more from them! I was very anxious to buy fish online but it is pleasant experience! Thank you!
Experiencia negativa: Placed my order. Got a delivery date. No delivery. No way to reach anyone. Worst customer service ever. I order mail order fish a lot and this is the worst experience I've had. By far. No return emails. No live chat. Phone system that hangs up after you've held for 15 minutes (several times). These folks evidently do not care once your card is charged. It's looking like I may have to dispute this with my credit card to get someone's attention.
Experiencia negativa: They put a large fish into a tiny bag it couldn't move or have enough air in it. On top of that the fish was completely covered in parasites that were eating him the whole time. Other fish in the order were dead. And another had same pests and a bacterial infection causing its fins to rot. Any company responsible for living creatures should not be so inhumane. Didn't email when shipment was coming. Company won't respond to issues you have. Hopefully this company is out of business soon!

Experiencia negativa: First they cancelled my first order without bothering to tell me. I ordered again and all four of the fish came in dead. Granted they were delayed by weather and arrived a day late, but even if they had arrived on time they would have been dead. They weren't weren't packaged properly. They were wrapped in newspaper and in tiny little bag that certainly couldn't have provided enough oxygen to them. I understand they'll refund the money for the fish, but they were the cheapest part. They do not refund for the shipping which was about 5 times more than the cost of the fish. This was an expensive lesson to learn, but I learned it. I will never again order from LiveAquaria. On top of all this, when I tried to contact them, I was not able to do so. Do NOT order from this site. It's a waste of money.
Experiencia negativa: Avoid !!! Several years ago (2020) we bought fish and plants from LiveAquaria and got so disgusted with the lack of care in shipping for the livestock that we shopped elsewhere. After hearing that LiveAquaria had been bought by Petco and having read several slightly favorable reviews we decided to give it another try with a fairly pricey saltwater fish. Fish arrived in a big cold box in too large bag with hog clip and leaking. We are experienced aquarists and will never ever again buy from this company. AVOID sadness and SAVE your money and time. BUY elsewhere !

Experiencia negativa: The worst company I have dealt with in my entire life. I placed an order and the communication is terrible. The phone number does not work. I was on hold 3 separate times for 20 mins before I was hung up on. My packages did not ship on the specific day i requested and the tracking live aquaria provided cannot be tracked through the website. For the largest fish retail website in the world this is very poorly run. This is my first and last time ordering from here. Update: I never received my fish and live aquaria canceled my order without telling me why. When I finally got in contact with customer service they tell me that the 20% off sale that I place my first order under can no longer be applied. Absolute trash company in a trash state.

First one canceled due to weather, even though I was told the weather lift was lifted.... they told me to reorder. Second order jumped up in price by $70 because a sale ended. Ordered anyways..Guess what.... they didn't ship that aswell. Was told because they have employee shortage. I'm GLAD they did, because after reading others reveiws.....oh boy. What happened to this company? It used to be great...now....not so much.

Experiencia negativa: Reef keepers and aquarium hobbyists in general expect a higher standard. We spend thousands on equipment and live stock and expect customer service and quality animals that reflect our investments. Also they canceled their Live Dive Sales with no warning after steadily having them weekly which shows a level of carelessness regarding the community. Do better Live Aquaria! I’ve been forced to take my business to saltwateraquariums.com who have responsive service and I recommend other hobbyists do the same

Experiencia negativa: Literally ordered 2 times I got a 6 line wrasse ( was dead on arrival) a goby Mandarin (died shortly after placing in my tank) and a aptasia eating file fish( it doesn't touch aptasia and died shortly after) so I got credit on the 6 line wrasse (I would rather my money back) ordered again for a 6 line wrasse again a madarin and a angel fish. I get emails saying the order is canceled and I'd get my money back but the next day they ship out the goby and wrasse?..I open the box BOTH ARE DEAD AGAIN AND THE BAGS ARE FREEZING COLD! 1 SMALL HEAT PACK GLUED TO A PAPER PLATE!!!! 2 ORDERS AND EVEYTHING WAS DEAD!!! I REFUSE TO WASTE ANY MORE MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE THE FISH DESERVE BETTER GO TO A LOCAL FUSH STORE AND HAVE THEM ORDER IT FOR YOU! Experiencia negativa: I ordered two fish from Love Aquaria. The purple tang arrived in good shape and is thriving. The coral beauty arrived with spot on his pectoral fin, but otherwise appeared healthy. Sadly the coral beauty never are, and died within a few days. I submitted a warranty claim using the online form and never received a response. I followed up with an email, and again no response. I finally called and after waiting on hold for 20 mins, was told that no one was available to take my call. I left a message, but have not heard back. The warranty is useless if after submitting a claim and the company just ignores it.
Experiencia negativa: They continually miss expected shipping dates, do not answer their phone, after waiting in line many times for over a half hour, you get sent to automated response (mailbox is full) and then it hangs up on you, chat sends an automated response that you’ll get an email, which you never do on a timely basis. Such a shame as several years ago they were good, now, it’s really the worst buying experience that comes to mind and I do a lot of online shopping.

Never received an email confirmation for my order despite having a card charge- no response to my email, no notification of when to expect the shipment. Have called over 10+ times and each time wait over 15 minutes in the queue before the call is dropped at the 15 minute mark and they say to call again due to their voicemail being full.
Experiencia positiva: Ordered several "packs" of freshwater nano type. Total with shipping - about 160 dollars. 4 out of 6 Otos DOA, about half of 24 Ember tetras with ich, 2 out of 12 Rasbora heteromorphas missing eyes. Shipped in what seems to be regular plastic bags (not breathable membrane). Will report back in a week. ETA: ok, a bit more than a week. Below are the survival rates: Rasbora heteromorpha (Harlequin, or sth like that): 0/12 Danio Margaritatus (galaxy rasbora): 1/3 Otocinclus: 1/6 Ember tetras (these are the ones that came with ich out of the bag): 22/24. Total survival: 24/45. Kinda under 50%. Now, the shipment did come in on the coldest day of the year here in DC, I get it. I did try to record all losses as best I could and sent whatever was covered by Arrive alive-stay alive guarantee (of course the more expensive ones were not covered and died within days, not DOA). Left some feedback (here, or on the sellers site) - and they did come back in virtually no time, called me back, saying that ich and fin rot must've developed in shipment, apologized for fish missing eyes, and overall were very apologetic. Gave me store credit for all recorded losses (except "experts only", of course), and said they would waive shipping and handling next time. Soooo... Disappointed with this particular shipment overall, but, given how proactive they were in handling it, may want to report back after I try another shipment (after I get this ich under control). Edited a year later: had another shipment, some items were out of stock (but with free shipment, can't complain). Again, coldest day of the month, shipping delayed - everything arrived safe and sound, no ich. Changing rating to 4 stars - customer support is very good and personal.

If you order from here you are saying that you couldnt care less about the animals well being as well. Pay a bit more at dansfish but see how they take care of their fish. 99% shipping rate! Dan opened the business to set a new standard(clearly this scumbag company doesnt follow) and cares remarkably for the fish. Quit buying and supporting these companies

I was asked for new photos ONE WEEK after this all happened. Customer service has still not responded to me in over a week now. Beware before purchasing!

Experiencia negativa: Ordered a Powder Blue Tang and a Two Spot Bristletooth Tang.Ordered when temps were above freezing.They shipped them the next week when temps in my city was 0 degrees.Needless to say the fish arrived dead,in very cold water.Packaging was a thin cardboard box with a few crumoled newspapers,one heat pack,and something that resembled aluminum foil.Filed a claim instantly upon receving dead fish.Heard nothing.Checked my bank account to find out they charged my card after already knowing the fish arrived dead.Have since filed a fraudulent charge claim with my bank.Horrible,uncaring business.Please dont order from these people si they can needlessly kill more fish.
Experiencia negativa: Ordered 1-day shipping (paid for 1 day shipping). Order was not shipped till over a week later. In the meantime, I called to ask questions about the order, because I had concerns about the weather and if it would be safely shipped / should be shipped at all or if I could change my order and wait till spring. No one got back with me... Order arrived in a thin cardboard box, with newspaper bunched up and a handwarmer stapled to my invoice paper, with NO insulation or Styrofoam container. In 10*F weather. Needless to say the animal that shipped was dead. I submitted a claim the same day (you have to submit it the same day you receive your order, or they will not refund it). Technically, you get store credit, not even a refund - IF they approve it! No one has gotten back with me, and when I call their phone number, it goes to an automated service - when I select the only option on said automated service to talk with a representative, it automatically hangs up on me! I'm out $85. An animal died needlessly. And no one will get back with me or seems to care. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.
Experiencia negativa: Ordered fish last week and recommend in the comments on the order that they delay shipment due to inclement weather (on top of their published warnings about delays due to weather). They clearly don’t read the comments and shipped anyway. Shipment was delayed from Friday to Monday delivery. I called, emailed and messaged the company several times between Friday and Monday with no response. As expected, all of the fish were dead on arrival. I’ve been on hold with customer service all afternoon and never got through. Very disappointed with customer service and the apparent lack of concern for animal wellbeing.
Experiencia negativa: Fish arrived poorly packaged, in leaking bags and dead 12/20/2024. I immediately notified Live Aquaria through both their website and email. Today is Jan 12th and still no resolution. Their communication is terrible and you will have reached out to our countless times to get very little to no response. I finally got an email after filing a charge back with my credit card company.

Experiencia negativa: I ordered about $350 worth of livestock advertised as a New Year sale. A few days later I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. Tried multiple times to call as well as leaving voicemails asking what the problem was - no response. At least my credit card wasn't actually charged. Will never order again and that's unfortunate because I have been a customer for more than a decade.
Experiencia negativa: I've placed multiple orders from this site and I am finally done. Most recentIy, I ordered 3 marine fish and some snails in December. Never received a shipping notification and was unaware that my package had been delivered. Package sat on my front porch overnight in the winter. Despite all of this the snails were alive, but only one fish was on the box. The packing slip showed that there should have been two. Apparently, they ran out of stock on one fish and cancelled it. The other they just didn't put in the box. I called customer service and they said that they had been having email issues and offered to reship the missing fish. They did this and sent the wrong fish which was dead on arrival. I immediately filed a claim, but have heard nothing back. To top it off the wrasse that they did send has a neurological condition and is not doing well. They only offer store credit which is reasonable for this type of company, unless they are completely inept and losing stock because of this. Don't order from here unless you want sick or dead animals, hastles, and lack of support.

Said they couldn’t deliver because it was out of stock. And a couple days later said my card was declined which they already removed the money and had to wait for a few more days to get my money back. A joke.

I was told this after being on hold OVER AN HOUR. The rep said I could cancel the order through email. I sent an email. The response was that I can't cancel the order. STAY AWAY!
Experiencia negativa: My ordered keep getting delayed without a reason. Never knew when my order was supposed to arrive. Originally was supposed to be here Tuesday but never came with no explanation. Then all I sent them an email expressing my frustration on Thursday and then all of a sudden got a email at midnight saying my order was canceled. This was my 5th time ordering from them trying to give them another chance because my first 3 orders showed up dead. Customer service is absolutely terrible, I do not recommend to ordering live fish from here because they kill fish and you can not trust them when they say there are going to ship something on a certain day.

So call 12/5/24 spend 2 hours and 30 minutes on hold again and was told the fish quality was bad! On every dang fish? But yet your still selling all the fish I ordered out or 6 fish not one would pass that's crazy I would never suggest dealing with these people spam emails after signing up with them skyrocketed I believe they used my information to sell and the jokes on me for trying to get my wife and kids some new fish they picked out for Christmas just to be set up with bull never use these companie nothing but trouble

Experiencia negativa: Ordered 1 Copperband Butterfly it arrived skinny and pale-looking. Tried to feed it and didn't eat at all and died within the week. Received store credit for the Copperband. Was not going to use store credit on live fish after seeing these bad reviews but I saw 2 Zosters on sale and decided to purchase them because my store credit was going to expire at the end of the year. One zoster arrived skinny and pale and the other arrived with popeye (both eyes bulging). The skinny one died the next day after arrival and the other was not eating but we managed to keep it alive for 2 weeks and a half then it passed away. Contacted customer support and they extended the warranty but only one more week and the fish died after the warranty by a couple of days. They denied the claim because it was after the warranty and because I did not keep them updated on the status of the fish, when I was busy trying to keep it alive. Will not buy fish from them anymore since they are always sick and die soon. Waste of time and money. Go to local fish stores instead.

Experiencia negativa: Don't be like me. Listen to the reviews! I claimed a coral during their YouTube Live Dive sale. I also purchased some hermit crabs from their online store. The crabs where shipped from Wisconsin and arrived in good order. What should have been a coral was shipped from California. When I opened the CA package I was greeted with a double bagged container with a piece of mesh screen and a dead shrimp! I filled out a claim and now have to wait on store credit. I would rather have a refund, to spend with a company more reputable. If the care of the animals is anything like their shipping and procurement departments, I really don't want any of their livestock.

Experiencia negativa: We have always gotten our fish from Live Aquaria. This past order, my husband and I paid $350 and the package was held up at FedEx in Memphis, TN for more than 24 hours. 6 Chromies died on arrival and five days later, five more died from the stress of oxygen deprival. Live Aquaria will only replace the ones that died on arrival, even though their policy states they have a seven day guarantee. Will NEVER buy from them again! They could have made this right as what FedEx did was not their fault, but chose not to. The order # is A4212417 if that helps

Experiencia negativa: Liveaquaria sold me two fish which they claimed to be Yellowfin Flasher Wrasses which turned out to be Yellowfin Fairy Wrasses. I explained my disappointment since I ordered a third fish which was a yellowfin flasher wrasse, yet they have replied with silence. Completely incompetent! DO NOT ORDER FROM LA. Buyer beware and they do not respond to customer service. Buy from Algae Barn or Pacific East Aquaculture. Good people there.

They gave me a credit for one of the fish and a refund for the other, I WANT BOTH OF THEM REFUNDED, maybe in the future ill try again but this left a super sour taste in my mouth

All 3 of the bags had holes in the same places, the only reason fish #3 didn’t die is because it slid sideways once there was room in the box for the bag to roll around. Because two of my fish were expert only, and they were pairs, the one fish I have left will not make it. He is already twitching because of being in shock. They will only guarantee same day arrival with Expert only fish. So now I’ll be out $560 dollars because the fish will die sometime tomorrow instead of today.

Well the fish came in beautifully and healthy. When I called customer service I got someone promptly and I regret not getting her name because she was delightful. She put me at ease, even though there was still no confirmed shipping date yet. She made me feel important and valued as a customer which is becoming rarer and rarer these days. I will happily order again! Also pictures of the fish a couple hours after acclimation. Sooo happy with the quality!
Experiencia negativa: Done with this site. Order fish then when they get around to shipping them unless you order from their diver dens chances are you won't get fish. They oversell their inventory and leave you expecting fish, but nothing arrives. Their emails abut shipments never arrive, so you have to contact their help on website. Experiencia negativa: This was a huge fail ordering fish at LiveAquaria. The fish arrived in poor shape jammed into as few bags as possible. I later (a few days) figured out that they were full of parasites. Subsequently not only did most of the new fish die, but it wiped out about 75% of the other fish in two of my aquariums. Here is a summary: Tank 1: x6 CPDs/ 0 survivors, killed off 8 established CPDs, 6 Corys, bushy nose pleco, and all of loaches, all from parasites. Also spread over the other tanks: 12x Praecox Rainbows, 3 survived, 1x bushy Nose plecostomus, died, 3x rabbit snails, 0 survived, 12x mystery snails, 1/2 DOA, 4 survived, 24x nerite snails at least 1/2 were doa, 2 survived, and 12x cherry barbs of which 7 survived. This doesn't count the existing 12x gold corys that died, or the second brushy pleco, 6x kuhli loaches, etc. A huge disaster. The moral of the story is to quarantine new fish, particularly from sellers that do not quarantine in-house before they sell them. All in my $315 purchase ended up costing me around $750 with all the losses and meds. I was so caught up with things dying and medicating that I couldn't photo everything and deal with returns. I ended up just writing it all off as a loss. A4185243 oh, and as a follow-up the 4 surviving mystery snails were not mystery snails. They were apple snails, and now have eaten all my plants. Fantastic!, the gift that keeps on giving.

Experiencia negativa: I received an order yesterday and did not receive all my fish. 3 were missing and 1 arrived dead with the others not moving much but still alive. Some of the fish were just underwhelming and I was not impressed with their color but I am glad they arrived alive. Everyone’s water smelt absolutely horrible and really took me back. I also never received an email my order was ever shipped so I had no idea my package was coming. I have written them an email with pictures and used their live chat and haven’t heard a thing. If I don’t hear back soon I am going to dispute the charge. For an almost 300 dollar package you would take better care of their fish and better their packaging. I used to heard good things about this place but I guess things changed which is unfortunate. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered.
Experiencia negativa: Bought fish from live aquaria several times over the years. Most recent order had several Issues. 1. Paid overnight shipping and had to ask several times for them to issue a refund. 2. I ordered 3 lots of a fish, and was sent 1. No communication that they ran out of stock for me to potentially order other fish. 3. All customer service responses are canned and response times are slow. You have to ask the same question 3 times for someone to actually read your question, and then 3 more times for anyone to do anything about it. 4. As others have said, the water smelled truly rotten when it arrived - so much so that I sped up my drip acclimation substantially to get them out of that water - I usually acclimate over 10-12 hours and did it over only a few hours instead. Get your fish elsewhere. Will not be a returning customer.

They said they will issue a credit for the missing fish and some shipping, then I would have to submit a claim for the rest. They did credit back some to my account then I received an email stating I had the rest in store credit. I purchased some non items and used my in store credit, and it ended up charging me full price. Customer service stated that I did not have any credit even after I showed them the email. They are refusing to refund the money. They have poor customer service and horrible delivery. DO NOT BUY!!!! Believe the reviews

Experiencia negativa: ALL OF MY FISH DIED! They were treated in an isolated quarantine tank with a trifecta of Rx antibiotics, antifungals, and antiparasitics because I am no noob, yet they ALL still died. This store's wholesalers must be avoided at all costs because these fish carry antibiotic resistant bacteria. They were all treated with cephalexin for broad spectrum bacterial infections and with doxycycline for infections that are caused by parasites, all while they were in a quarantine tank, yet they still died, so this store is deadly...literally.

Experiencia negativa: I should have checked these reviews vs the Bizrate ones. The Bizrate ones are mostly related to the website with only 1/3 being about the actually product/fish. I ordered a group of male guppies (6) and so far 3 out of 6 are dead within 3 days. Two of the guppies were DOA and one died today. They were very poorly packaged which I believe is the main cause of death. All six of the guppies were packaged into a small plastic bag together. The package itself was poorly packed, with only a single hand warmer to keep it above 70 degrees for 24-ish hours during February being shipped from Wisconsin to Maryland. The hand warmer was also placed at the very top of the box with several layers of paper between it and the fish. When I opened the bag of guppies, the water was filthy and smelled. I believe another one of the guppies will be dead within 24 hours, as he's showing signs of sluggishness and not eating. So it will be 4 out of 6 guppies dead within 3 days. I know it's not my tank because I have a long term catfish, fancy guppy and mystery snails that have been thriving for about 6 months now. I wanted to get more guppies for my single guppy since I moved to a 20 gallon tank a month and half ago. I check my tank parameters daily and have everyone on a diverse and healthy diet. I have emailed requesting an actual refund of the guppies vs a store credit as well as filed claims thru their website so we will see if they are at least willing to do that. I do not want a store credit since I have no desire to go thru this process again. I feel horrible about this because these are living creatures being mishandled. A lot of people think "just fish" but they still deserve to be treated well, especially if they are charging $25 for a group along with $40 shipping. *Edit* They saw my claims and rewarded me with a whole $8 in store credit but have yet to reply to my email. Another guppy died today, as I predicted. I also have another order with them (I placed with the guppy order but for some reason, even tho its just something for the fish, not actual fish, its shipping separately.) and still no update on that order so I asked for a cancellation of that order in my original email as well. I emailed them again today. It seems they reply to all the reviews on here telling people to email them so I'm interested to see if I get the same canned response. *Edit* Another fish died. So 5 out of 6 of the guppies I ordered from this business are dead within 4 days of delivery. I still have not heard from them other than with the claims. They have yet to confirm the cancelation of my other order either. I don't know if there's a way to report this business for animal cruelty but given these reviews, they absolutely should. I can't imagine the conditions all these aquatic animals are kept in if they can't even be delivered overnight alive and stay alive for more than 5 days. Assuming the owners see this review, yall should be ashamed of yourselves for treating living things like this.

I am still only leaving a 3 star review as the two which died was due to poor packaging for transport.

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend ordering anything from this vendor. Poor survival rate from shipping, and terrible customer service to back it up. I recently made two separate purchases from LiveAquaria, the first order placed in January for 6 fish, all of which were listed as in stock. My order was delayed due to weather, which is understandable; however, once my order was finally shipped, they only sent me 4 out of the 6 fish that I had purchased. The packing slip included with my order included all 6 fish that I had ordered. Having heard nothing from them, I contacted their customer service, which I was essentially just told that "items won't be sent if we don't have them." So, during the delay in my shipping, they didn't hold the fish that were not included, and instead of notifying me at all about it prior, I had to contact them to see why I hadn't received what I ordered. While speaking with the rep, I requested an email receipt of the credit that would be provided, and that email was just completely ignored. My second order which I received today, I encountered the same issues; lack of communication (I didn't receive a confirmation email of my order, OR a confirmation email that my order had shipped, so I had no clue when my order was going to arrive and was lucky that I was at home when it did) and again did not receive items that I received as well as items that I did receive did not arrive alive. I didn't even get a Packing is abysmal, and you'll be paying your $10.00 "box fee" for them to throw the bags in a box with some newspaper, and a paper plate. At least they approve "arrive alive" guarantee claims quickly, as I imagine quite a bit of their staff is dedicated purely to processing these claims.

This is their standard response.. Hopefully they actually will help. Original review: 70% of the shrimp arrived dead. One day later almost all of the rest of them are now dead in my tank. The water in the bags was freezing when the shrimp arrived. Thin cardboard box with a bit of newspaper and two small and useless heat packs. Why do you ship shrimp in the winter in this bad packaging?? Never before have any shipments form other companies arrived in this condition . They responded by saying shipping is rough . I agree it can be rough , but explain why over 20 other shipments from other companies , in all types of weather ,never had any issues. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order fish from here. Order also did not ship complete . Missing about 10 fish, another odd thing was packed with Chinese news paper

I don’t know if it’s under new ownership or management but the assortment of rare and unique fish on divers den is almost non existent. A lot of their fish they post you can find in local fish stores now in days. The fish I recently ordered on their website came in smaller and lower quality than usual. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but now I’ve given up. I will not be ordering from them anymore and wouldn’t recommend them. As you can see they ask for your order number but do nothing. Same old generic message to everyone leaving a Genuine review !!!! I’m Over this company and their games! Experiencia negativa: I purchased an order of 6 freshwater clams from Live Aquaria. The clams that I purchased on their site were marketed as growing to 2” max. When they arrived, the smallest one in the bag was maybe 2” and the largest is around 3.5”. That plays a big role when you’re taking on the responsibility of caring for another life and trying to plan accordingly for the space in your tank, and I have no idea if these things will get bigger than 3.5”. That is much different than the purchase size that was marketed at 1.5” - 2”. These clams are huge, but I don’t want them to die just because they were marketed inappropriately. The next issue is that I have purchased live animals from three other aquarium stores, and the way that these clams were packaged was by far the worst I’ve encountered so far (along with the customer service, but I will elaborate on that later). The clams were not secure inside of the package, there was a paper plate in there for some reason along with very loosely packed newspaper, and because the package took two days to arrive, the clams were freezing cold by the time they got here since there was little to no insulation for them to stay warm and the heaters in there had already completely dissipated. They appear to be all alive though. So, these must be really hearty clams. My final issue is that I called their customer service line during business hours as soon as my package arrived so that I could get answers as to why they’re significantly bigger than advertised and find out what kind of clams they were so that I know what I am in for as far as care goes. However, I was forced to leave a message and wait for a callback because all their representatives were busy at the moment, and I didn’t receive one after a couple of hours. So, I called again and left another message. This time, there was an automated phone number that texted me and said I could text for customer service as well. I wrote out a text seeking the same information as far as what kind of clams these are, and now we are coming up to the end of business hours for the whole next day. Guess what; I still have not received any attempt to communicate or reach back out to provide any customer service. At this point, I wouldn’t even care if anyone reached out. I will never be a customer of this place again. I would tread carefully if you decide to shop here. This is a picture of the package minus the bag of clams. This is literally how it was packaged.

Experiencia negativa: Update: 4 weeks later no one reached out to me. Order number was in the review. At no point did the company mention the snails were out of stock. No contact was made to notify me. I was allowed to add to my cart and complete the purchase. They were not out of stock when I ordered. The package only arrived with the pleco. Communication is nonexistent. For $29.99 overnight with a $9.99 box fee I would have not ordered if I knew only 1fish was being shipped. Packaging was bad for the additional fee. It was a hand warmer, some newspaper, and bubble mailers in the box. And since every response to these reviews is the same canned answer I doubt they care. I won't use LiveAquaria again. Fish are coming in much smaller than the website says, and many die in the first two weeks. I have been trying to only order captive bred saltwater as they seem to fare fine, the others always die. The dwarf frogs and cherry barbs were so tiny and died in under two weeks. Below is the info. Experiencia negativa: Purchased 6 Denison barbs last year and 6x long-finned zebra danios. Shipment arrived and package had the zebra danios and 1 albino shark. Contacted support and they shipped out the missing 6x denison barbs. After aclimating the denison barbs, only one survived. Contacted support and they put a credit on my account instead shipping out replacements. Overnight shipping costs was not worth the hasle and the credit expires after so long. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase fish from this company ever again!

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this shop at all costs! Its over priced and under delivers. I ordered fish online but the shipment was delayed do to a storm, no issue there it happens, but when the fish arrived half of them were dead. Other online shops will either ship out the remaining fish for free or partially refund you that order, but they will only do store credit not including the shipping. So I reached out to get the store credit and have heard nothing since. So I payed a lot of money for dead fish! The fish that survived, for the price, don't seem high quality either. Just go to a big box store and you'll get the same quality of fish, and at a much better price and with customer service.

The didn't respond at all, so this means they let the wrong fish they sent die in the shipping bags. I see my daughter got a quick reply from you to her review. After 2 phone calls, (had to leave voicemails), 7 text messages and an email, I still haven't heard from you. I thought maybe this could be a way to get a response from you. The wrong fish were sent to me. Fish that are doomed to die in the shipping bags as they are not reef safe and are aggressive. They can't go in my tank. I've communicated this to you but apparently the company doesn't care. I need a refund. You asked my daughter for my order number. No point in asking me here for it. You can get it from my prior communications with you. This has been a horrible experience dealing with this company, even starting before the shipment arrived. I just can't get all the details in here.

Experiencia negativa: I'm posting this in place of my mom. She had ordered 2 cleaner shrimp, a sailfin tang, 10 snails, and 5 dwarf crabs. Instead she received someone elses order, a blue spotted puffer, a bird wrasse, a niger triggerfish, and a sleeper gold head goby. We contacted support and got a reply asking for proof of the mix up and then no reply since. The only thing capable of staying in our tank is the goby. Everything else is either not reef safe or aggressive. We're unable of keeping the fish in our tank because if that reason, we can't feed them or supply them a good shelter, and they're doomed to die. The company absolutely does not care about the livestock or give any care about customer service. I noticed a lot of other replies say the same thing. Very disappointing company, absolutely do not recommend. I understand making a mistake, but refusing to help, especially with live creatures at hand, is absurd. It also came with some weird chinese newspaper?

Experiencia fantástica: I ordered a H. Melanurus from Divers den and shipped from the Wisconsin facility. My wrasse arrived in great shape and after a few days of QT he was already eating pellets and I decided to put him into my display tank. After I introduced him to the display he was out and swimming within a few hours and is doing great. The packaging was great too, a lot of water in the bag for him. After photographing my “H. Melanurus” I realized they sent me the wrong fish. I believe they sent me a Halichoeres cosmetus. Bummer because the Melanurus’ are more expensive. Not really what I was expecting but what can I do now, just enjoy my healthy fish! Update. They refunded me the price of the fish! Awesome customer service, definitely will buy from them again
