All have been doing great for a few months. Prices are a little higher than chain pet stores but not ridiculous and youre definitely getting your value in terms of quality of fish. Will continue shopping here as long as I live here!

Experiencia negativa: Cool items to choose from but everything is super expensive. They also take very bad care of the mammals in their shop. With their mammals they sell a singular ferret and all the little mammals are placed in pine or cedar bedding (Which can be toxic for them). The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the owners are nice and I like what they have for the fish.

Experiencia fantástica: The fish that I bought here are still alive after 2+ years. And I bought 135 gallon set up because the fish out grew the old tank. He always has good quality products. He can order stuff and it comes in the following week. I will not buy feeder fish from anyone else, the feeders are always very healthy so I don't have to worry about my fish getting sick.

Experiencia negativa: Very very upsetting set up for most of the replies specifically the leopard geckos, as an owner of 4 very sweet healthy geckos, this display was highly upsetting, they geckos were EXTREMELY skinny and there cages were littered in waste. They were very underfed for such young baby’s and I personally think he is over rated with his radio reviews. I truly hope people see the mistreatment of some of these animals. And $60 for an unfed baby gecko? That’s insane. I’m sorry and I hope my review is seen…

Experiencia negativa: The guy that was there (an old guy with a beard) was rude, he was having a conversation with another guy and clearly didn’t wanted to be bothered. I asked him a question of what he was looking for and he responded with another question and provided no help….you will be better going to PETCO or Pet Supply.

Experiencia negativa: Cool fish, place was kinda dirty and cluttered but I aint picky... some of the reptile tanks need to be cleaned (especially the leapord geckos). Old dude with a beard was lowkey rude as well.

I read the 1 star reviews and had to laugh. Seriously, race baiting because you felt your color was an issue. That's a horrible accusation to make about someone. Maybe you carried yourself poorly people need to get over themselves.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here for the first time after hearing such good things about the quality of the fish and plants as well as the customer service and I definitely was not disappointed. I'm still relatively new to aquatics (about 4 months) so I'm still learning so much every day, and the gentleman who helped me pick out some fish was not only nice but had lots of information for me and answered every single question I had (which was probably too many). Definitely will be going back!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve visited Aqua Plus 4 times with my last visit being the last. My first encounter with Jim was very unpleasant, at first I thought he was just having a bad day. The second encounter with Jim he gave me the impression that he did not want to be bothered and left me feeling uncomfortable to ask for help. My final encounter has left me no choice but to leave a fair and honest review about this small business. After doing some research I found that Jim’s unprofessional attitude and rude behavior is not an isolated incident. I should not have to leave a business feeling ashamed and unappreciated when I'm just trying to buy food for my pet. The race and color of my skin should not determine on how I’m treated! Jim will talk down to you and leave you feeling scared and unappreciated to return to this business. I’m sure he has left others feeling this way but they have not taken the time to leave a review. Other reviews have had a similar experience with good old Jim “extremely grumpy guy” “rude” “cause he knows what he is doing” “not enthusiastic to help us” “very rude and unprofessional” the list goes on and on… how does the store owner continue to accept this type of behavior and treatment of people blows my mind. Overpriced items, rude costumer service, take your hard earned money elsewhere. Times have changed and this type of behavior from a person in costumer service should not be tolerated or accepted by the business owners. Jim is deliberately ruining your business and reputation, I for one will never return to Aqua Plus or recommend it to others until the owner takes action. I highly encourage that Jim is no longer employed or he does a complete overhaul and learns how to treat others with respect appreciation and attends cultural competence training.

Just PLEASE DO RESEARCH before you get a pet! It’s not that hard and you can provide your pet the right way of living! This guy does not do research he goes off of his own opinion. Experiencia negativa: PLEASE DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!! if i could rate this 0 stars i would! they are VERY inhumane all the animals are in terrible care. the rats are stuffed into tank which rats should NEVER be kept in tanks its causing so many medical problems. the water dragons had no water in there tank (water dragons should have at least half of their tank with water!) i could go on and on theres so much more but i couldnt bare to look at all the poor animals:( this place needs to be shut down asap please help!!!

He did not want to sell any fish and made a point of saying that he was closing in 20 minutes at 4:30 pm. The website says that they’re open until 6 pm!! I left there and went to Pet supplies plus and spent $150 on fish. I would never go back!!!

Experiencia positiva: We bought a betta fish for our home. Aqua Plus had everything we needed to get started. The staff was very knowledgeable and educated us on water quality. The space in the store is a bit cramped so it was difficult to social distance. And because the space is so small, it looks a bit disorganized, but everything is sorted into sections so it wasn't too terrible to figure out where the item you need is.

I noticed you had some plants that Ive been wanting as well as some shrimp and snails. I was told "snails are a nuisance, why would you want them?" "and that they "dont work with shrimp" by the employee (I know they compete for food) but I'm determined to prove him wrong and show him a beautifully aquascaped Paludarium with both creatures living harmoniously. Every animal was well cared for as well, I will be back!

Experiencia negativa: Place is dark and gloomy, all their animals are in horrible living conditions. Multiple large rats living in a tiny enclosure full of feeces on the floor, a bearded dragon surrounded by what looked like nearly 100 dead and decaying crickets, and a hedgehog living in an undersized enclosure without a wheel. All of the enclosures looked like they hadnt been cleaned in probably a couple weeks, explaining the mess. Its horrific to see these animals living like that, its basically abuse. A 2 minute google search will tell you that. Dont sell animals you have no idea how to take care of you dont even meet the bare minimum of care for these animals. Dont shop here, dont support a store that takes horrible care of small animals and reptiles.

Experiencia fantástica: I buy gallons of RO tank water for a few quarters. They sell saltwater too. I just bring my own jugs and they fill them. So cheap, and so convenient. The fish also are happier. They are so friendly, and display amazing customer service! If no one is being helped, and they see me coming in they are up and ready to take my jugs back to fill as soon as I step foot inside. Shop local. Love this place.

I purchased some angel fish and a bristlefish and received a demo about proper tank cleaning. This fish store is clearly the pride and joy of the owner and is treated as such!
