I didn’t want to shop at my old aquatic pet store anymore because so many of their fish looked sickly and the employees there gave poor care advice. The fish here are very healthy in the shop and clearly well cared for. So far I’ve stocked my community tank with a female betta, a school of ember tetras, and a school of Pygmy cories from All in 1. The fish are all really healthy so far and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Experiencia negativa: *Edit as of December 2023*: the rodent care has went downhill, again. Most of the hamsters are not receiving adequate care. Thank god that Guinea pigs are not legal to sell (tons of them are in the city shelters and Petfinder if you’re interested in getting one) because generally stores just don’t treat them with respect. The hamster cages offered to buy are awful and way too small. Wheels with mesh and wire bars are still used. Solitary breeds are housed in pairs or groups. The actual accessories sold are great, as I’ve mentioned previously, but it just disappoints me so much seeing these animals housed in such a way. It also seems as Chinchillas are the new replacement for Guinea pigs, and they’re not easy to care for, which worries me a bit. *Edit as of May 2022*: the quality of care and stock in this pet store has definitely improved since my last review. I see they’re trying to improve rodent care and have a variety of great rodent care products now. There’s still improvement to be done, as they don’t sell any appropriate sized cages (you’re much better off getting a 25+ gal aquarium depending on the type of small animal and/or larger DIY cages) and there’s wired wheels smaller than 6inches in diameter in many of the cages. The fish care looks excellent though, and the tanks look very clean. I can’t speak for the reptile and bird care because I don’t have much experience with them. Old review: I’ve honestly stopped going to this place much since they don’t stock that many appropriate products for small animals. I have 2 Guinea pigs and a hamster and most of the products sold are either underwhelming or straight-up unsafe. Pine and Cedar bedding cause respiratory issues, wired wheels can get hamster feet stuck and injured, cotton nesting can cause blockages if swallowed by hamsters. Their food for hamsters lacks variety and I’d rather go to another store closer to me for larger bags of hay for my Guinea pigs. The way they house their small animals is sad too. I understand space is limited, but they keep male Syrian hamsters together. Syrians are solitary animals and I’m surprised there hasn’t been a fight yet. They’re probably too depressed and lethargic in their tiny cages to fight…

At 1st I said no because I was just looking around , than I hit her with a plethora of questions which she was soooo knowledgeable about. I really appreciate Qwen for going above and beyond to meet my needs. Very genuine and pleasant. I most certainly will be back and highly recommend anyone who’s curious about their fish to visit this location. The staff overall was very welcoming.

I came in as a new fish owner wanting to learn about the best equipment I should buy. I can't tell you how many questions I asked, but regardless, the worker was very patient and kind. He guided me through setting up the tank, when I should put the fish in, what chemicals I should use and when, etc. He's now my unofficial fish guy!

They have an amazing selection of pet related items (regardless whether it is a snake or not). They are generally open late for a Pet Store (7pm I believe). I'm no expert, but walking in I can see that all the tanks are clean and well kept, there are no dead fishes floating around, and also there are a few display aquarium that looks super nice and inspirational (well done!). Jordan helped us answer all questions without rushing, gave advice and was extremely helpful. This type of quality and customer service is exactly what I look for and am willing to drive out of the way for. Thank you and please keep up the great work!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is a surprising little pet shop if you’re a fish dude like I am. They carry a good amount of stuff and keep their tanks clean and stocked with healthy fish. They also carry frozen foods which is handy. The guy in charge of the fish is nice and I wish we were friends. He loves planted tanks and so do i. He keeps a number of them in the store and sells a good variety of aquatic plants.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, their selection is out of this world with different products all the time and the prices aren't bad. Experiencia negativa: The products are alright but the way they take care of their smaller rodents is horrendous, majority of the hamsters have wire wheels in their tanks which is proven to cause bubble foot or even rip off their arms or feet if they get stuck in it, I went in and saw the hamsters and it was so obvious the poor Syrians feet kept getting stuck in the wheel while it was running on it :( the gerbil they have also looks very visibly sick.

They have a small animal and bird food station where you can scoop as much or as little food as you need and pay by weight - a really great option to cut back on packaging.
