Experiencia negativa: Got a tattoo that was very well done. Wanted more work done with the same artist, scheduled a time and paid a deposit. Artist left Spectrum (not sure reason nor does it really matter, not my business) and I have not been able to get through to him to recoup my deposit. Work was great, but sucks to be out $100. Edit: The dude was a representative of your company (private contractor or not it doesn’t matter, I work as a private contractor and if I f’d up my company would be responsible). Hence the review on your company. Sucks he screwed over multiple individuals, but a review relaying my experience about an artist YOU allowed to work and represent your shop is entirely acceptable. That is what reviews are for, to let other patrons know of someone’s experience… Probably in the future, I would recommend that the shop takes deposits for artist and holds them until services are fulfilled. That way this issue will not happen in the future. Cheers!

Experiencia fantástica: Spectrum is the only place I will go for tattoos and piercings. As soon as I walk through the door no matter what service I am getting I feel safe. Dawn is a professional business and shop owner and makes sure all apprentices under her are committed to their artistry just as mush as she is. I personally work with Tasha on my tattoo pieces. Her creative and artistic vision is unmatched. Any idea I have brought to her she was able to decipher what I wanted and bring the vision to life. As for piercings, Rev made me feel comfortable being exposed and was fully open to working with a second piercer to make me feel at ease. All clients no matter what service received gets thorough instructions on aftercare and can reach out to the shop if needed. I highly recommend Spectrum and will holler until I'm blue in the face to get on their books or catch their flash sales.

A young human gentleman, who was also being penetrated, threw me a sphere made of squish to relieve my anxieties. I never knew his name, but I am eternally grateful. By the end of my time there, I knew someday I would have to return. And someday, when the galaxies aline with my bank account, I shall. Until then, I watch upon the Page of Faces as others are enthralled by the artistic beauty of the permanent ink they adorn themselves with. Being marked by the humans ensures that I can never return to my home, for they have cast me out. Please...do not weep for me. Every molecule was worth the years I will spend in exile. I will return. Experiencia fantástica: So I went and got a glitter tattoo from Dawn about a year ago. The experience was awful. I got laid down on a hard table and had a tiny needle jabbed in my neck over and over. In the end the tattoo looked amazing but as the months go on my glitter continues to fall out and into my eye. I'm pretty sure I'm going blind but man does the sun sparkle! Experiencia fantástica: I'm driving down 411 and I see this sign, Spectrum. I'm like yes, I finally get to return this dang modem, I've had in my car for weeks. I pulled in, grabbed the modem, and ran inside. There I was confused and mesmerised at the same time, in the middle of a flash sale. I walk out of there, with a couple of really nice tats and this dang modem. Now when I want a tattoo, I just tell my husband I'm off to return the modem. Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this therapist office they are really great and help with a lot but every therapist I’ve tried there all have this problem with coloring throughout my appointment which is so strange. They also had patients getting stabbed? I never really understood acupuncture but whatever floats their boats I guess.

Experiencia fantástica: I was tattooed at Spectrum last spring and over all it was a good experience. It was a little different from my other tattoo experiences though because my "artist" Tasha insisted on using this really loud machine thing instead of the warm wash cloth that was used for my other tatts. It was also extremely painful, almost like tiny needles being dragged across my skin for hours! On the brightside it hasn't faded even a little bit. I knew when I made my appointment that my tattoo person was a newbie and I was glad she only messed up like 7 or 8 times. My only concern was that almost every person in the shop was heavily tattooed and had crazy hair colors and piercings. I think it might have been ran by felons. But they were all super nice and probably non-violent offenders, I think. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that enjoys painful tattoos that will never wash off. They are very educated on anatomy (which is awesome for nipples) I had scar tissue from the last time I had them pierced, not to mention the previous piercer did it wrong. These ladies took such good care of both of us and they look SO good. Good quality jewelry and they give you plastic for if you ever have to have procedures. They have 2 people doing it at the same time which is AWESOME.10/10 recommend, I will never get piercings anywhere out.

Experiencia negativa: My 15 year old came here for snake bite lip piercings bc our usual tattoo studio has a 16 year age requirement. My husband warned us we should have just waited… Tasha was very kind to my daughter for the initial lip piercing (she couldn’t get both at the same time bc she had a pimple on the opposite side at the time). We didn’t get any photos or videos that day, and my daughter was bummed. I went and ahead and paid for the other piercing that day. We were told to wait 2 weeks for the next side. I started messaging the shop 2 weeks later and after some back and forth was told to come on back. Tasha told me she had appointments but to come at 130 and she would fit us in. I took off work, we came at that time, waited about an hour and finally someone came and said she was too busy could someone else do it? We said that was fine, so we waited again. After probably 20 more minutes, they told us they were actually out of the jewelry they needed and we’d have to come back another day. Couldn’t that have been checked when I was told to be there at 130? After several more messages where I felt like I was bothering them, and about a another week, they told us we could come the next day. I planned to take off work and picked up my daughter…That afternoon I get a message that actually no, no piercers will be there, it would have to be the next day. The next day, because I had to work, my older daughter took her for the second piercing. My daughter being pierced had fussed because I didn’t get any pictures the first time, so her sister made sure to do so for this side. Immediately, Tasha scolded her saying “no no no, we don’t video” in a super condescending way. She had no idea, and was just trying to capture the exciting experience for her sibling (and has gotten piercings herself, again at the studio we are familiar with…where they encouraged and posted these—funny side note Tasha also said my daughter’s septum-which she has never had the first bit of trouble with and was done at our familiar shop with a piercer of years of experience was pierced all wrong—“way too high”—which now has my daughter thinking that piercing looks weird—it does not). Sorry for the long story, but overall- My daughter said Tasha was kind to her, the piercings are beautiful (besides they keep falling out) and the shop was clean, but I am left overall feeling like we bothered her and this business. It was all unprofessional. My older daughter was left with really bad vibes here…she was going to purchase jewelry but decided against it after being fussed at. My husband and I have 20+ tattoos and piercings and would not recommend this business. We should have waited on our experienced, professional establishment where our business is wanted. Lesson learned!

Experiencia negativa: I went and got my tattoo done by an apprentice and it was not A good tattoo. You can see the track marks and the color fell out in places one’s touched. I was tattooed for so long that it has scared my skin. Edit for response: how would I know that track marks where left or there was ink fall out when it was approved by the owner? I went to my normal artist because it wasn’t healing right and I was shown the issues. And you assuming that I have bad character because I left a review when I’ve had two other tattoos don’t by another apprentice that I’m extremely happy with is so laughable. Oh and

Experiencia fantástica: I have not gotten a tattoo here yet but my friend and I got piercings at their Hocus Poke-us Halloween event and we're really happy with them. We both got Industrial piercings and I felt like our piercer Kristen clearly explained our options and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable during the process. I felt pretty woozy after getting my piercing and I was brought a snack, water, and an ice pack and I was able to take my time to recover. No one made me feel rushed to leave. They were really kind and we hope to come back to get tattoos sometime!
