Experiencia fantástica: Checked this place out yesterday with my family and it's an amazing shop, impressively diverse selection salt & fresh. Nicely setup, clean all around, and ALL of the tanks were crystal clear minus my kids' new finger prints (sorry). Awesome prices, especially for a small business. I did not see a single unhealthy creature in the entire shop. Lots of larger healthy adult fish you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Especially the gorgeous cichlids. Keep up the good work!

Experiencia fantástica: Eric has always help me and my husband. He knows us and where we started. We have well water so we bought an inexpensive water system to make water for our tank. It works great. Everyone I’ve met has been very nice and knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Most of the plants looked like they have already converted to underwater with plenty of new growth. Plenty of hard scape and planted tank substrates. Experiencia negativa: In my 20 years of fish keeping and exotic pet ownership, this was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had since I’ve been in the hobby. I’ve patronized dozens of different fish and aquarium stores in SW FL and even worked at a couple small business ones in high school. The small family owned ones are usually the best and most honest, but unfortunately places like this give them a bad name. I went in there to purchase a couple small freshwater fish, and the guy straight up REFUSED to sell them to me because I didn’t have a water sample with me… he told me if I wanted to buy anything to bring in a water sample… no thank you. He then started grilling me about my fish keeping techniques and started to imply everything I do is wrong and how I should be doing things. He started to really cross a line that made me so uncomfortable I left. It was like dealing with a little narcissistic child bully who was getting off by saying IM RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO DO THINGS MY WAY OR ITS WRONG. Good thing I got outta there before the full on temper tantrum came. Extremely rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: I just started back into the saltwater Aquarium hobby after getting rid of my 10 year old tank about 6 years ago. Wow the advancement in technology are incredible. Speaking of incredible I have to give a shout out to Aaron and Justin at the store. These guys know what they are talking about!! I have ADHD and as anyone one knows with this little patience when getting something I want. Both Aaron and Justin take the time to walk me off the edge and do the tank the correct way. Patience and time is what is needed for a successful saltwater tank. My tank is now three months old. I had very little “ugly stage. I have a cleanup crew and four fish right now and the tank is absolutely perfect. If you were getting into the hobby, please listen to what these guys tell you And if you’ve been in the hobby doesn’t hurt to gain more knowledge. People around here are lucky to have such a knowledgeable gentleman at their local fish store

Experiencia fantástica: Seriously. Brick and Mortar at its finest! I AM SO EXCITED I FOUND THIS PLACE! I am new to this. I received a tank as a gift, so that was the impetus to start, but I've wanted to start aquascaping for a while. Then I decided I would get fish. I started reading and watching YT's. HOURS of YT. I googled an independent in the beginning, but I am not familiar with this area, and somehow mistook how far away it was. I've been to the local Petsmart and Petco at least ten times, back and forth with my water samples, countless youths telling me the most basic way forward, or less, because it's their first job and they are doing their best. Some of those were sweet and helpful, BUT I WAS KILLING things by the time I found this place. I literally, JUST placed an online order after the woman in Petco told me my water was, "Perfect," for inhabitants. I needed help and I didn't even know it. It's in a strip mall, and from the front it's hard to see how big it is, but they have A TON of great stuff. The store is pristine in the right ways. The fish are active and healthy. The variety is amazing. They have PLANTS! They have piles of; drift wood, rocks, and coral. Their pricing structure is different. There are some items that are at higher price point, but with the luxury of getting to hand pick my own piece. I didn't know that they matched prices, I didn't ask that. There was ACTUAL VALUE to the information he was giving me and the time he took to give it. Additionally, some prices were the same, and for plants when you factor in the shipping costs and the risks implicit in buying plants online-this is better. They didn't have a couple of things I wanted as far as species and specimens but I didn't see everything they had and he made it sound like they could get what I wanted. I will definitely be back. This place is a gem.

An employee there name Mike Bemaul 10 out of 10 customer support and was always there to guide and give advice when asked. In addition, he was respectful and answer everything clearly. Everyone else was kind too and help out here and there when there was questions needed to be asked. Would recommend to anyone if they are into aquatic life!

I have many times used big pet store chains for anything fish related, and there usually is a lack of proper information. finatic aquatics, however, has outstanding tanks, stock, and is very knowledgeable and friendly. justin gave me great advice on how to properly care for my tank, and was kind enough to provide a new home for our pleco whom had grown too large. we will be using them for our future fishy needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Great products and services from Pros. These guys have a Wealth of knowledge and are willing to share it. I only came in for floating plants and to look at fancy plecos (which they had plenty of) but couldn’t leave without a well-cared for Red Empress and Redfin Sternella. The tank glass is spotless, you can tell someone spends hours scrubbing and changing water. Not a single dead fish floating randomly but the biggest surprise was it didn’t smell like a fish store, if ya know what I mean. Custom tank stands, African Scenery Pond in the back, the flower horn by the front door, a large healthy selection of various sizes… if this place had beer…. Imagine…. I’ll be returning monthly for sure!

Justin is always incredibly helpful and has taken plenty of time to go over my livestock care, as well as answer any questions i might have. I try to stop in weekly to stay ontop of their inventory since they always have superb fish and corals, and are competitively priced as well!

Every fish I've got from there has been healthy and I even got my first fish ever from them, an awesome Yellow Watchman Goby and he's still happy and healthy to this day! They even came to my house and helped install my 40 gallon that I couldn't do on my own and I talked the ENTIRE time and he didn't seem annoyed at all. Always have a great saltwater selection and freshwater too, they answer any questions you have an make you feel so welcome! Definitely come here if you're into the aquarium hobby.

They had everything we needed and more. The tanks are crystal clear and they had such a variety. On top of all of that, the customer service was absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful and gave us many tips about how to better our tank. The prices were unmatched. Such a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Experiencia negativa: So I originally just left a bad two star rating but with the owner adding a snarky comment, I'll elaborate on my bad rating. When I went in there they were super condescending. I've kept fish for almost 2 decades now and instead of help with what I was trying to do I just got the "well, im the expert" treatment. It's been a while since I was there but the guy who was there was telling me stuff that was all wrong about water balancing. I got all of my stuff at another store in Fort Myers for a lower price and they didn't even give me any bad advice that I didn't need. Go to father fish or fantastic fish instead. Worth the drive.

Experiencia fantástica: Been keeping fish for around 15 years. Hugely into the artistic side of freshwater aquascaping. If you are looking for fish outside the run of the mill pets martial selection you will love this place. Also a fantastic plant selection. Bought threading rainbow fish (my new favorite) and they even took on an aggressive fish from my tank when I went overboard and added too many fish to my tank. On a sidenote, to the one star reviewer complaining about the employees wanting a water sample. Any aquarium store that actually cares about the well being of their fish after sale should be applauded.

It was installation of 230 all glass very heavy tank and cabinet that is in my living room right now. Looking forward to work with Fantastic Aquatics and use their services in the future. Great job. Experiencia negativa: The fish itself are well kept in the store and they have a good variety, however, the employees themself are EXTREMELY contradicting and will spend an hour explaining why to do something and how. Then when u come in a month later they will tell you that’s it’s wrong and to do something completely different. They also are very aggressive to push their own beliefs and care guides as if you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
