JP was kind, patient, and engaged the entire time (even/especially with two young, very curious children). I would 100% recommend Anchor to anyone looking for a perfect day out on the water!

Pretty much let them know what your interests are and they provide! From seeing dolphins, sea turtles to snorkeling for shells or other marine life that he can educate you about. Christopher is very respectful to all marine life. Carefully handles them then put back after giving you all the info. Also, you feel so safe out with him. He takes care of his people. Just a top notch experience that will make you want to book with Anchor Charters everytime you return to PCB.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent charter. We had two children so we only took a 3 hr tour. It was perfect for them. We saw dolphins, sea turtle, and many ocean creatures while snorkeling. When the grandkids are older we will book a much longer tour and spend most of it snorkeling. I have health issues which prevent me from snorkeling but I enjoyed being part of their experiences and “finds” from the boat. Captain Chris was fantastic and had patience when dealing with the young ones. He shared his respect and knowledge of the ocean and creatures. Will book with Anchor Tours every time we visit PCB!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience! We did a 3 hour tour with our 9, 7, and 4 year olds. They all had a blast and said “best day ever” multiple times on the cruise! Chris knew the best spots to see dolphins, and we got to see them super close up! Snorkeling was fun and my kids were amazed with the shells we found! We saw tons of sea life and Chris explained what they all were, etc. It poured on us the whole way back in but it was a fun experience and I would highly recommend Anchor Charters! Knowledgeable, safe and most importantly FUN! We will use him again on our next visit for sure!!!!

We especially liked the marine lessons that Chris was teaching us and the kids. Seeing the dolphins was exciting.. I give them 5 stars. Experiencia fantástica: I searched via Google & Facebook for boat rides while in Fort Walton Beach around July 4th. There are MANY! What I liked about Anchor Charters was the family-centered description, the ability to customize our excursion, and the positive 5-star reviews. My son, his family and me (ages 6 - 70) had a blast! We did the 3-hour cruise. We went to Shell Island, anchored, and swam to shore. Captain Chris convinced the 6 yo that he'd keep her safe, so she clung to his shoulders 'til she could touch. She had so much fun looking for shells (lots of small ones & broken pieces of large ones), and even found a pirates sword (plastic). On the way back to boat, she swam be herself the last 4 feet. Thanks for boosting her confidence, Captain. The boys tried snorkeling, and one enjoyed it so much, he bought a mask and snorkel set then next day. We saw dolphins, LOTS of dolphins. Two groups swimming all around and UNDER us. And, we saw lots of other tour boats, double decker, pirate ship, round floating tiki bar, but none of them would have allowed me to reach out and touch the water whenever I wanted. I could walk around the boat, ask the captain to circle back so I could get a better look, or watch my granddaughter sit at the controls with him and pick light colors. This is the tour you want for your family. Thank you, Captain Chris!

Experiencia fantástica: Captain JP was very friendly and knowledgeable about many aspects of the bay, lagoon and gulf. He was able to tell us some history, as well as show us dolphins and sea turtles. He even beached the boat to show us some deer at the park. While we were beached, my husband saw a hermit crab and JP got out of the boat and pulled it out to show us up close. This was a great private tour and I recommend it to couples or families. Anyone would have a great time!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the second time we have been on this tour and both times it has been phenomenal. We rode with JP both times. We tried to go on a Wednesday, the weather did not permit so we went Friday and are so glad we did! The Captains are at the mercy of the water, however, they do try their best to provide you with the best site/animal seeing and experience. Initially, we didn't get very good sight of dolphins due to other boaters and experience seekers. JP did try his best. The other boaters were just not accommodating. However, on the way around, we did get a "private" showing with a pod of 3 dolphins. Great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Last Friday, we went out with Anchor Charters and were blessed to have Captain Chris. This was the highlight of our trip to PCB-Destin area. We got to see a small pod of dolphins which came right up to the boat for several mins! We looked for sea turtles and eventually saw one at the end of our trip and it was incredibly cool to see that yellow head pop out of the water! ⚓️ We anchored on the gulf coast but out of abundance of caution I decided, with Chris’s full support, not to get our kiddos(4 boys ages 4-11) out there to snorkel as they aren’t great swimmers. We opted for a spot on the bay side where it was calm and shallow. We snorkeled for quite a while and saw urchins, hermits, crabs , olive sea snails, sea stars, another type of sea snail, sand dollars, several fish (including a really cool fish- robin fish), and scallops! Chris is knowledgeable and prioritizes sharing it with others. He is concerned about the safety of his passengers and others around him. He is chill, relaxed, and positive. He was great with our boys and made sure they were able to find things themselves and also find things for us to observe and learn about! Would def recommend going out with him! Completely tailored to your family’s needs/wants and always good vibes!

We’ve been out with Chris 3 times now and he has now become a must anytime we are in PCB! It’s 100% self guided you let him know what you want to do and maybe (hopefully cause you know the sea life is wild) see and Chris and his team makes it happen! We’ve been out when it’s rained. When it’s absolutely beautiful and in between each trip has been nothing less than amazing! If you’re on the fence I’m telling you just book the trip! One of my main selling points on picking Anchor Charter was the safety I could see and hear from videos posted on social media. From someone that has not grown up around or even live around water. Being water Safe is a huge deal to me because having young kids I want to make sure an experience on vacation does not end badly! I love how close we get to dolphins without disturbing them in their home. Countless times other businesses will be out looking for wildlife that let people jump off to “swim” with them but as soon as people are near the wildlife they move away…. Then you gotta get back onto the boat and try to track them down. The way anchor charters is you can literally feel the air from when the dolphins come up to take air! Best experience I’ve ever had in PCB and is always a must for each vacation!!!!! Book that trip!

Cap went out of his way to hunt down the dolphins that had been eluding everyone for the last 2 days. My little has pretty bad adhd and Miranda took her under her wing as her “best friend for life” for the day, and never showed any frustration from the millions of questions. So much sea life to see while snorkeling, and Chris brings some of the wildlife onto the boat for educational purposes. Don’t hesitate, on whether or not you should. Your kids AND you will love it. Experiencia fantástica: This was a fantastic cruise! Very knowledgeable captain, super chill, private tour so it was only my family. I got to bring my beverage on board and we were able to see a ton of dolphin action and even a few white tail deer. We saw a ton of "tour cruises" and they were PACKED! So glad we chose this crew. We scheduled for Friday and they even messaged me to ask if I'd like to go on Thursday so we did! We will be using this crew every time we come back! He was very determined to make sure we seen as much wildlife as possible. It was nice to see all the private tours working together out there to make sure everyone got to see as much as possible. It was a great experience and we are already talking about coming back and will definitely book with anchor charters again. Next time we will probably do a longer tour to have the chance to see more!

We saw dolphin, ray, sharks and sea turtles. Then we went bay side and he showed them all kinds of sea life after a swim on the bay side of shell island. This is our 3rd time going out with him and we are never disappointed. If you are looking for a really good family outing with a captain who likes to find the marine life and educate you then Anchor Charters is the absolute VERY BEST in Panama City.

Chris is well respected on the water as well. He and other tour groups communicated well with each other to make sure we had the best experience possible. We had the opportunity to see 20 plus dolphin swimming and get up close to them in the boat. Snorkeling was an absolute blast and he helped my children find all kinds of neat treasures and creatures! Best captain out there. Not only did we see several large pods of dolphins jumping, playing & chilling … we seen so many sea turtles & stopped at the beautiful shell island. We even had a surprise F35 fly over!!! What a perfect day!

The tours are private so you don’t have other people you don’t know joining and they are tailored to what you want. I really wanted to see Dolphins so we spent hours watching different pods of Dolphins. He was always respectful of the marine life so we would get close enough to get an awesome view but far enough away so as to not disturb them. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Starting with a slow pull up to the dock we met with our guide for the day, Captain Chris and man did he show out! From showing us so much sea life in the gulf, to informing us on some local history and great conversation. He definitely showed our small family the warmest welcome and best time we have had since we have arrived to the PC (Panama city) area and we are so grateful for him and his amazing dolphin finding abilities. We saw more than 40 dolphins for over an hour and while doing it carefully he was so cautious,respectful and again amazing! My daughter said today was #thebestdayever and I couldn’t agree more. From holding a jellyfish to filling our shell bag with tons of sand dollars to seeing so many dolphins. Experiencia fantástica: Went on an eco tour with captain Chris a couple of weeks ago while on vacation and it was truly a highlight of our trip. He was so informative, funny, and made it a great time for our family! We got ice cream, saw sea turtles, dolphin, and we snorkeled.. he helped us find some amazing shells and a sand dollar the vibes were immaculate and he plays great music! to top it off, Captain Chris was a hit for my 4 year old. Here’s a pic of them hittin it off chillin in the sun!! They talked all about the ocean and how he had a talk with the sharks to keep them away from us while we were swimming. Experiencia fantástica: Ok, so where to start?! This was my MOST FAVORITE time at ANY beach in my WHOLE life! Instantly, Chris is extremely likable & you can tell that he LOVES what he does & that you're gona have a really fun day. He knows all the cool spots & interacted with us like we had known each other forever! Some highlights from our trip was seeing SEA TURTLES & LOTS of DOLPHINS! The water was incredibly beautiful & the weather was PERFECT. But my MOST FAVORITE part of the day was learning how to SNORKEL & FINDING SEA STARS!! All in all, #BESTDAYEVER! Experiencia fantástica: Had the best day today with Sophia! We were having trouble finding a charter to fit our group of 7. Chris went above and beyond to make our day happen. Conditions weren’t perfect due to a storm coming in. But Sophia still made sure we had a great time! I can’t wait to plan our next outing with them for our next trip to PCB.

Experiencia fantástica: This was such a fun tour! Captain Chris was very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go to watch several pods of dolphins! He was very patient with my child and answered every question she had! Our favorite part is always snorkeling by shell island, and this trip did not disappoint! My daughter’s asthma acted up towards the end of our trip and he was very quick and professional in getting us back to the dock to get her taken care of! Very highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing experience! Captain Chris is so knowledgeable about the marine life in the area…where to find what, when. I’ve never seen turtles and have never been that close to wild dolphins in my life! It’s a great alternative to just sitting at the beach. We were still in the sun and water and learned a bit along the way. We will definitely be back!

Experiencia fantástica: We went out with Sophia and had a wonderful time! We found a huge pod of dolphins & snorkeled for star fish, sand dollars, and shells. I highly recommend them!! My only complaint is that I didn’t spend the extra $ for a longer trip!! Sophia was super sweet and very knowledgeable, totally made our trip!! We will absolutely book them when we are back in Panama City!!
