Experiencia fantástica: I usually have good experience with Predatory fins and have made several fish purchases and even bought a fly river turtle. I ordered a selected grade spider kelberi bass and it came in with a broken back. Unfortunately it was probably due to shipping. So I didn’t even bother emailing and complaining about it. Being so bummed out my girlfriend ordered me another one. This one came in and it wasn’t a selected grade. It was just a normal kelberi bass. I’ve had several so I know the difference. My girlfriend has sent an email. If we are able to get a refund or a replacement I will retract my one star review but as far as it goes. This whole ordeal has been a complete disaster and I am extremely upset. Edit: Rod reached out to me and my Girlfriend personally and fixed this situation. Not only did he replace the standard Kelberi Bass with a selected Kelberi as I originally ordered he also replaced the bass that came in with a broken back. He reached out with videos allowing me to personally pick the fish I wanted and shipped them to me. Both fish came healthy and were everything I wanted. Rod demonstrated excellent customer service and I will continue to buy from them. Predatory Fins is my favorite fish store and will continue to be. Thanks Rod for making this situation right and I apologize for the original review without reaching out first!

The shipping company dropped the ball a second time. After 5 days the fish arrived... one would think it wouldn't have survived. Since June of 2024, my husband and I have become passionate fish and aquarium enthusiasts. We've collected everything from Pea Puffers to an Axolotl. All in all, we now have 42 unique fish. A few months into our journey, my husband, Denny, started watching YouTube videos from two guys, Rod and Kevin. They travel everywhere in search of what I call 'Aquatic Art'—mostly large, beautiful fish of all kinds. Their company is called "Predatory Fins." Denny became so obsessed with their videos that, at one point, I knew their voices, their kids' names, and even their wives' names. It felt like I knew them personally. For my birthday this year in March, I asked Denny if I could order an Albino Silver Arowana from Predatory Fins. Even though they’re on the East Coast and shipping would be a bit pricey, he agreed, excited to see how it all worked. So, on my birthday, I went online and placed the order for my dream fish. I turned 54 this year, and when I was 18, I lived with a woman named Tami who had a stunning white Arowana. I’m not sure if it was an albino or something else, but it mesmerized me. I’ve wanted one ever since. Within 30 hours, the box arrived at my home in Arizona. I opened it carefully, and sure enough, there was a gorgeous Albino Silver Arowana inside, alive and well. I gently removed it and added the bag to the water to acclimate it to the temperature. I followed all the instructions to a T, slowly adjusting the water. But within 24 hours, this stunning creature was gone. My heart broke. For my birthday, my boss had gifted me a $200 bottle of tequila, which came in a beautiful black box. I used that box to bury my beloved fish in the backyard. I know it’s not typical, but it mattered to me. I kept asking myself, "What did I do wrong?" Though I figured it was my fault, I decided to email Predatory Fins just to let them know about the loss and to ask if there was anything I could have done differently. I didn’t expect much, honestly, because they guarantee live delivery, and that’s exactly what I received. To my surprise, I got a response offering me a discount if I wanted to purchase another Arowana. Thank you, Predatory Fins, for your candor and understanding. Experiencia negativa: We ordered an albino sterlet a few months ago, he arrived healthy and he was fine, but we noticed he has a gill deformity due to bad breeding. We’ve kept a sterlet before ordering a new one and knew that what we had got wasn’t healthy. We tried reaching out to Predatory fins to ask if we could send him back or get a discount from their fish literally being deformed, but we were ignored. They were so pushy and active when asking for our card information but as soon as you bring up something wrong with their fish or products they ghost you. Unprofessional, also shows how much they actually care about the fish they handle. A sturgeon is very sensitive to infections and parasites through their gills, this is why this is such a big issue. They sell us a $190 fish that is already super sensitive to living conditions and dont discount it when we receive a fish that can maybe get super sick in the future because of the breeders they work with.

Experiencia fantástica: Hello, my name is Bryan Jennings and I'm writing to tell a remarkable story. I ordered a Rosemarie Pike from Predatory Fins, which would be shipped to Canada where I reside. The fish was to arrive at my door the next day. Due to issues at the Canadian border, my fish was held by fish and wildlife for 11 days. The package arrived and my stomach dropped as I dreaded opening the package to discover a decomposing fish in a bag. To my amazement, the fish was barely alive. I'm happy to say after much love and compassion I have brought this fish back to good health. This wouldn't have been possible without the pre-purchase care Rod, Kevin, Anthony and the rest of the Predatory Fins family give their fish prior to shipping. Experiencia fantástica: My freshwater fish shipment came in yesterday morning. All fish were alive and super healthy. All started eating within a few hours after acclimation, too. Packaging was perfect; they go the extra mile and use the custom fitted styrofoam inserts in the cardboard boxes (no cut and drop in styrofoam). The bags of fish were well packaged having been double bagged with grommets. The sticker was a nice added touch. Will order again soon! A+

At $50 additional cost, still an inconvenience, but I will say what a turn around. Even with the package being delayed an entire day the fish came in great shape and health! I have not seen a single fish even appear ill thus far. I am definitely happy with this order and thank you to the team for making things right! Much appreciated!! _________________________________________ I hate to leave a negative review, but with not even given the courtesy of a response to my emails and the terrible quality of my order I thought it necessary. The shipment arrived very quickly, that’s the one positive aspect of my experience. The box consisted of a styrofoam cooler, two bags containing the fish and an ice pack wrapped in news paper directly touching the bags. This was over kill as the bags were quite cold. No printed invoice or receipt included. The 2 blue phantom plecos aside from having sunken in stomachs looked ok visually but weren’t moving and breathing slowly. The 6 blue eye Congo Tetras were in deplorable condition. Emaciated, some had bacterial infections, some had fin rot, some doing the death spiral. I floated the bags for an extended period of time and treated the fish. All 8 fish did not recover. As this is happening I sent multiple emails with photos and two days later absolutely no response. They must know they sent me fish that should not have been sold. My first time ordering fish online and at almost $300 for the order this is absolutely unacceptable .

I bought a Fahaka; and he saw me a cross River; and most recently a small MBU. is more than a LFS (local fish store) it’s a real hub of knowledge and exotic animals !! you must go to this place and meet the man himself!! I highly recommend it. i am a customer and i am a fan of his employees too . I have bought a second cross river from them and it’s the most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen at a wonderful competitive price. I’m a hugely satisfied high end customer . The two cross river puffers I received from Them were the finest specimens in the trade. And the flowerhorn as well. Rodney has also helped us with his knowledge. Highly highly recommend this place. It’s been a year or two since my review And then that time I bought several fish from predatory fins all of them were fantastic! And the guys help me put an entire home filtration system in so that my 10 foot tank can be changed more easily.

Experiencia fantástica: I ordered a columbian zebra pleco on may 6th at night. I worked for it and everything (I’m 15) . On the seventh it was at a warehouse at 9:43 am he came. I was worried I got the wrong one he was completely black, I forgot that they change color under stress. After he was in my tank he colored up and is such an amazing investment. He’s gorgeous came perfectly and insulated this was my first ever fish order came perfectly if I can get more fish for my tank I would. Experiencia fantástica: Back for an honest review. My first review was a 1 star but I deleted it and I'm back to give credit and respects where it's do. I ordered a clown squeaker cat, redtail barracuda and jaguar cat. Unfortunately the 2 catfish weren't strong enough for the trip. The barracuda on the other hand was eating feeder fish I breed and raise for higher nutrition meals close as possible to wild fish they eat. The(Cuda) came in perfect condition.. I contacted them and was waiting and nothing happened so I wrote my 1 star review being the impatient man I am. Then I got a call from a righteous moe foe no other then the man himself Rodski!! At first I thought it was a worker just messing with me then I listened a second and I'm like oh chits it's Rodski I was excited as hell cause you watch all the videos and see the family having holiday dinner and your eating watching you feel like your part of them. So after talking and explaining what happened and my situation and with them being busy they re sent my squeaker catfish but they were out of the jaguar catfish so they replaced it with a more expensive stripped wood catfish they I didn't think I would like but I actually like it more then the jaguar catfish because of the ray like fins they have behind there pectoral fines.(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) if you love catfish.. Now I know and knowing is half the battle if there's any bad reviews it's a lie you'll never have me believe it!!!!

The constant unboxing of future monster fish is fascinating and intriguing. So I decided yesterday to place my first order of internet fish ever and I placed it with these folks. So today I received my UPS updates and met the gentleman at the door and took delivery of my beautiful fish. The packaging was top notch and I couldn’t be happier about that. I’ll explain this a bit further. I also placed another order with a different place which I won’t name. The difference in packaging was so night and day different it wasn’t funny. Predatory Fins packaged multiple heat packs with what I call little baby blankets and everything was warm and dry. The other company packed one heat pack which explains why my fish were cold and then threw some brown paper packing in and everything was wet. Also the other place only put in enough packing paper to cover the bags but not keep them in place from shifting around. Predatory Fins did an excellent job and I want to personally thank them for my beautiful new babies. Based on these folks vs the other company, I wonder how the other company is still in business and now I know why Predatory fins is growing. Merry Christmas family and thanks again.

Very secure shipping, Styrofoam lined box, and 2 heat packs to insure temperature. I was blown away how fast it got here and how well it was packaged. Experiencia positiva: I ordered my azul Peacock bass from them and it showed up super fast and super healthy! I will say though I’m pretty disappointed with 1 thing maybe I’m being to picky but the fish I ordered was (4”) the fish I got is BARELY 3”. They get more expensive as they grow but that’s not my concern. I ordered the azul because the spider kelberi they have are (6”) and I was worried about it considering my small tiger Morray eel as food and didn’t wanna risk it but I didn’t want to get to small because I have a 5” mono bass that tried eating my 2.5 inch mono so I seperated them. I have a small bluegill that I’m sure will be good eventually but he doesn’t get bothered because he’s just big enough. That’s what I was hoping a 4-5” azul would do in my tank. 3” may be barely to big right now but I didn’t wanna push the line so hopefully all goes well.

Experiencia negativa: I use to grow up watching these guys on YouTube with my little brother always thought they we’re doing good in the world saving fish etc till I actually ordered a fish from them paid for overnight shipping no delivery date or anything at all to let me know when my fish will get here tried calling them hundreds of times to see if I need to be home to sign for the delivery no response at all tried to email them to nothing at all and this is how you run a business definitely won’t be buying another fish from them

Experiencia fantástica: I never knew what a Luteus was until I watched their youtube channel. I ordered a Luteus and another small pleco from them. I had a fish that I needed to re-home as well - which they were nice enough to take from me. I drove to their shop from PA to drop off the fish I was re-homing and to pickup my order. They are super nice people, they let me look around at their stock fish and display tanks while I was there. They have amazing well cared for stock and the fish I took home are very attractive and doing great. They still have a lot to do in order to get their place ready to open to the public, but it will be awesome when they are done. I would highly recommend buying from them. I purchased an Electric Eel and Mbu Puffer from Predatory Fins and I couldn't be happier with my purchases. Both fish came to us in excellent health and are doing great! We've had the eel now since 3/14/23 and he has settled in very nicely. The Mbu Puffer came to us on 5/25/23 and is already a huge hit! His aquarium sits on our admission desk so our guests are delighted to be greeted by this little (soon to be big) personable fish. I will definitely be doing business with Predatory Fins again.

From lots of online fish shopping and exploring, predatory fins has the cheapest shipping and still it does not lack quality. I have order two different fish on separate occasions and both are healthy. Recently, I order a pufferfish which was the last in stock of the bunch, predatory fins called me up and explained they didn’t feel confident shipping the little guy because he wasn’t acting “normal”. So instead they offered me multiple options; wait for new shipment, refund, or I could pick out a new fish. I chose to pick out a new fish and they covered the difference. If you are in the area to pickup your fish order, it's an extremely large warehouse. Once it's all setup with their display tanks and they are full operational, it's a place worth the visit. The fish always come in healthy and if you need convincing then just check out their youtube for further proof. The only thing I am waiting for now is to get a red wolf cichlid whenever they are available!

Experiencia fantástica: Greetings, I received 3 Dwarf Snowball Plecos L471 yesterday. All fish arrived healthy. To my surprise these were adult fish. I have only received juveniles from other sources in the past. From what I can tell it looks like 1 male and 2 females. All three fish are in quarantine at the moment. I quarantine all fish I order online. Very pleased with my order and will return for other offerings in the future.
