Experiencia negativa: This is a poor excuse for an aquarium. It is super small with very few exhibits. I expected it to be very good since it is the same company as the Coex Mall aquarium in Seoul, Korea (which is truly amazing and I visited it many times when we were stationed there). The water in the tanks here was dirty/hazy, not clear like any other aquarium I have been to, either in the US or internationally. I really don’t recommend this place and I have no idea why it has such high reviews. We were finished walking through this aquarium in less than 30 minutes and we love aquariums. We didn’t even take any photos, it was that disappointing. Reading other reviews this is probably a good place for really young kiddos. We were all adults and just didn’t really feel it was worth our time or money.

Experiencia fantástica: The wife and I decided that since our autistic five year old son loved the Mazatlan aquarium in Sinaloa, we would try here while we are in town today. I must say that everyone enjoyed our time here and our son really enjoyed it. He loves the water and all of the animals in it. He also enjoyed the play area for children!

It's in a shopping mall so adjust your expectations. Took like 30 minutes to walk through. My 6 year old took longer in the gift shop than she did in the aquarium.

However, I was deeply concerned to observe a lone shark resting at the bottom of the tank with its back fin completely missing. It was distressing to see, and I would expect that a facility dedicated to marine life would closely monitor the health and condition of its animals. It is concerning that such an injury appeared to have gone unnoticed until brought to attention by a guest through photographs. Regular welfare checks should be in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all aquatic life, especially in situations where aggressive interactions may occur.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great place to go for toddlers, my daughter is 16 months old and loved it. The nice thing about Sea Life is that everything is at their height, so they can walk around and see everything inside the tanks. They also have two different-sized walking tunnels, one at young kids' height and one that is adult height. We purchased the combination Lego Land and Sea Life tickets, which are co-located. One elevator takes you up a floor to Lego Land and the other takes you down to Sea Life. We spent about an hour and a half in Legoland and an hour walking through Sea Life.

The person in the front was kind of unfriendly. I get it maybe they're tired. And I hadn't done this before so I don't know what to expect. But I'm always hoping for places to go beyond what they just advertised online. I thought it was cool. The price of admission is a little pricey for my liking. Everything is expensive. But I had a good time and my favorite was the jellyfish

Tips for Visiting: • Buy Tickets in Advance – Especially on weekends, when lines can get long. There’s a wait to purchase tickets and another wait to enter due to a single elevator that takes guests down into the SEA LIFE area. This can add to the overall time spent just getting inside. • Visit on a Weekday – The space is relatively small, and when it gets crowded, it can be difficult to fully enjoy certain attractions like the touch tank or the shark tunnel. Taking pictures can also be a challenge with large crowds. Inside the Experience: Once inside, you start with an initial picture, which is a nice keepsake you can collect at the end. The walk-through is designed like an aquarium, with a variety of sea life exhibits to explore. While it’s not the largest aquarium, it’s well put together and engaging. The touch tank and the shark tunnel are popular highlights, but they can get busy, so plan accordingly. At the end of the visit, there’s a playground, which I found to be a great way for the kids to burn off any leftover energy before heading out. Experiencia fantástica: Enjoyed visiting. It was a glimpse of the aquarium in Atlanta Ga There was an arch to go under and look up to a transparent ceiling. You were able to see fish and other sea life. Plenty of touch screens with information, at the end a touch pond with live sea urchin and star fish.

Experiencia negativa: The entire thing is a bit mis leading. It says one price and then there’s fees at the end. Just give me the full price up front. They closed a huge part of the exhibit and my son didn’t get to fully experience it. Some of the rides and experiences were not operational. We originally wanted to use a Groupon for this whole thing but to add to the scam nature of it you can’t use Groupon same day. You have to plan ahead to use it.

Experiencia negativa: Was a nice aquarium until we got the touch tank wasn't given any instructions to my family our 4 year old was about to touch an anemone and was yelled at by an a man named mark who was supposed to be training some employees but was just trying to talk to the young girls he was in charge of . Then my daughter was asking the female employee about some see stars if they stung ,she says no , i tried to touch one to show it wasn't going to sting and this man tried to yell at me shut that down and ended up talking to management about it .this was our first visit

Yes it’s small but honestly if you take the time read and learn about the fishes there I say you will spend a good 45 minutes in there. You have employees walking around in case you have more questions about the fish as well. We did behind the scenes and Aaron was amazing! Worth it. Had a blast!

There’s a touch and feel tank for kiddos and at the end there is a play ground. Kids must take off shoes, socks recommended I really didn’t like that they take your picture and print out all these extra copies for you just to tell you “it’s 45$ or you hand it back to me and we toss it” Like wtf? You print all these copies of photos of us so we either buy immediately from you or you take all them back? Creepy af. They better burn that bc I get discussed thinking about each child and their families getting exposed like that. I was able to see all the tangible families photos bc they place it on a wall for everyone to see. I hated that.

Experiencia negativa: Legoland/sealife san antonio is a scam. It is far overpriced, especially for kids. Most everything(all rides and the bounce house) are all height required(minimum 40 inches), that leaves hardly nothing for the little kids under that height to do and enjoy. They don't specify this clearly enough on their website, nor do they make clear enough that to enter Legoland you must have a child under 17, though it's more for little kids. Sealife is also overpriced for the size aquarium. There's really not much big sealife to really enjoy. Personally, I have seen bigger and far better aquariums with better sealife. I would not go to these attractions if they were free.

Experiencia positiva: I took my granddaughter to Sea Life & Legoland. We had 2 hours & we planned to spend an hour at each center. We had so much fun at Legoland we almost went over the hour so we had to rush over to Sea Life. Well we got through it in 30 minutes! It’s ok but it wasn’t interactive or long enough for us. The tunnel & touching the jelly fish were the most interesting part of the trip. I decided to go back to the start & go a slower pace to see if we missed anything but it still wasn’t like I expected.

Experiencia fantástica: Was very pleasantly surprised at how good of an aquarium it is for being in a mall. Took the grandson there and he had an amazing time. Just seeing him smile and his eyes light up was worth every penny. Go and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Best aquarium in SA.

The staff are kind and are eager to share interesting pieces of information with the visitors– so, ask away! I recommend you buy your tickets online, and make sure to check their feeding schedules (days & times) on their website so you don't miss whatever it is you want to see. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Will come back.

Experiencia fantástica: We went after 3 pm and got a decent discount online. My kids took so many pictures and were having a great time pointing out all the different sea life. One notable was the really big green eel which we later found out was CJ. We talked to one of the staff members and he was very friendly and told us a lot about the animals. This is a very short experience unless you really take your time and really appreciate each tank. Overall still a great time.

Experiencia positiva: The aquarium and aquarium staff are excellent. The sales staff on the other hand were extremely unhelpful. We arrived, ordered our tickets (with an added behind the scenes tour), and waited for our scheduled time. We scanned our tickets for our scheduled time and the person operating the entrance tells us that we're supposed to arrive five minutes earlier than our scheduled time. Why in the world would the person selling tickets to us not inform us of this? So we're told to rush to the end of the entire aquarium and see if they started the tour. Unfortunately, the tour was already started. We wrap back around to the sales desk and ask what our options are. We were told as we had made our way through the aquarium we couldn't get a refund but we could refund or reschedule the behind the scenes appointment. As we had missed "the best time slot" when they're feeding the fish, we elected to refund our behind the scenes and re-enter the aquarium. If you're going to charge a higher fee for people coming in from out of town, I would think you would want to provide a quality experience; especially considering that they could be time-limited due to travel. The only quality experience was the beautiful wildlife, the photography staff who were kind and enthusiastic, the woman working the petting area was delightful and informative, and the amazing tour guide who came and talked to us personally.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I just went over the 4th of July weekend and we had a great time! We went there for my 6 year old but us adults and even my young 1 year old liked seeing everything. The place was nice and clean, organized and had very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely go back as it was a very cool place.

Experiencia negativa: When I visited today, I was using the kiosk and it said $17.99 a person. Online it even said $17.99 a person. It was ringing up over $100 for four people. We went to the cashier and he said the price is different because it is summertime. He said, kinda misleading...VERY! I don't think that is a good business practice. The price said $17.99 on the kiosk, but had hidden fees hidden in the total. That is not ok! It also wasn't worth the price we paid for how small the aquarium was...we will not return.

Experiencia fantástica: Great little aquarium in the mall. The kids loved seeing all the fish, even learned a few things. Plan to spend about 90 minutes here at most, especially if you are reading everything. The only gripe is parking costs after spending so much on entrance tickets.

Experiencia fantástica: We are annual passholders for Legoland and have also visited the Sea Life in Orlando. My son (age 6) and I had a blast! Friendly staff, clean safe environment, clean restrooms, and so much to do that offers education as well as entertainment. Love the interactive screens. Highly recommend and we would visit again. Experiencia positiva: Inside experience was nice, we saw fish and shrimp that we haven’t seen at other aquariums, we also took great pics. I took off one star because when we arrived at the register and mentioned that fathers were free for Father’s Day and it was teachers free for the entire month as advertised on social media, the people in front said they didn’t know and that teachers promo was only for yesterday which it wasn’t. They acted like they weren’t informed, yet still typed in the code to get it free. Also, their website mentions to bring in your parking garage receipt for you to pay only $3 instead of the $15 they usually charge but at this point I didn’t even mention it since they probably would have said they didn’t know about that either.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible! We took our granddaughter thinking it was “just another aquarium.” Just the opposite! We saw so many ocean, lake, and river fish that we had never seen before in ANY aquarium. Very well presented by the staff, to include very educational information for children and adults. You can’t miss this jewel when you visit San Antonio! And, a bonus…Legoland is right next door to SeaLife!

Experiencia fantástica: This was a fun experience for my 3 year old. We were here for about 45 minutes. Small area, but plenty of cool aquatic life to check out. Had a small playground towards the end. We got there when they opened at 10am so we didn’t experience any waits or overcrowding but I’m sure it gets crowded later in the day.

Experiencia fantástica: Went there for our wedding anniversary with our disabled son and with our grand daughter. We really nice and had a lot of different kinds of things to see. For being in the middle of Texas, it was good. My son loved it too.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I took our daughter for her birthday and we didn't see any turtles even though they are advertised. We could have missed them though because we walked through it in 40 minutes. We did see a dead fish in one of the exhibits so that was interesting. If our daughter wanted to go again then we would go again. Staff was friendly and place was clean.

Experiencia fantástica: This aquarium is a bit short, but you can tell the animals are well taken care of. The water is clear and there’s a good ratio of fish in the water. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back the next time we’re in San Antonio.

Experiencia fantástica: It was great walking the underwater tunnel. There are two, which the first one is quite small for kids. Then another near the end, which is longer but great to view and take pictures. Didn't notice there was a pirate statue in the tank until I looked through the camera. Small platform to let you pet starfish and sea urchins but be warned, the water is very cold.

Experiencia fantástica: Had such a GREAT TIME! Parked at River Center Mall Parking Garage. Went early. When you get there, go into River center Mall as this venue is inside. Had 3 options for ticket purchase: Groupon (if using Groupon buy in advance because certain slots allotted per each day), On Line or directly at venue. It does have you choose time slot so if your family runs late wait to get there to purchase on line or there as you can choose slot and go in quicker. We chose to purchase at venue and chose 2 for 1 price which included Legoland. We went on a Thursday on Springbreak. There were 12 of including baby in a stroller. Getting there by 1130am was good. We got in pretty quick. The later you wait, more the crowd you have to stay in line. The temperature inside was very nice and this aquarium didn't smell and didn't feel humid. Little dark in there so just keep tabs on the little ones. We all LOVED IT! From ages 2,4,11,15,18,26,30,33 and 60! It was not too short but not too long either. The glass tunnel was cute.

Experiencia positiva: Small but my kiddo enjoyed it, especially on a weekday where we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Restrooms were very clean and Inclusive ans well!! Only thing that bothers me is when you purchase tickets at the kiosk in store, the pricing is $24.99 for Sealife+digital photo. That is the only option you really have if purchasing in person (additional ticket was more for a back stage experience). I’m glad I caught on as the prices for tickets online are only $14.99 (13.99 for Bexar residents) and we still received a slip for our “free” digital photos. That’s a $10 difference per person and they said the $24.99 is the only tickets they offered. If you’re visiting, buy your tickets online!!!

Experiencia positiva: It was nice, somewhat small but for our young kids I'm sure they loved it. The area where you can touch the stingray had a long line so we skipped it, but we were not going to touch them anyways.

Experiencia fantástica: Recommend purchasing the combination ticket with Legoland. They are adjacent. We wentmid-morning, and Sea Life was a nice winding down. The staff directs the flow of visitors to entry points and keeps confusion to a minimum. Exhibits are simply stunning. Photo opportunities are plentiful, even with the subdued lighting. The indoor playground has comfortable seating for parent supervision, with good wi-fi reception. Very well maintained. There is a well supervised sensory tank.

Experiencia positiva: Started off badly at ticket purchase terminal due to misleading info about ticket costs. When I mentioned it to an employee, I could tell that he had to deal with this complaint quite often. The staff work hard to be helpful, patient, friendly and enthusiastic. They make all the difference.

Experiencia fantástica: This was our first visit, and I was impressed. Katherine, a Sea Life team member, gave us a private tour and introduced us to the residents of the aquarium!! The exhibits seemed very enriched, and the fish were beautiful! The decor and overall atmosphere were awesome, and my kids had fun.

Experiencia negativa: The workers were really friendly, but I don't think it was worth the money. It took us about 15 minutes to get through the whole aquarium. It was pretty sad, to be honest, there was only 1 sea turtle in the tank and it seemed very sick. At least sick enough for my group to realize that it seemed very out of it. I just hope it gets the care it needs before it's too late!

Experiencia negativa: I asked if they had military discount they said only online. I told them I'm here now in front of you with a military id. He said only online. I buy the tickets go to next area. He ask for id so I gave him my military id since it was already out. He said I needed a state id to make sure I was a resident. I told him this is a government id. Again he says he needs to see a state id. I said a government id is an acceptable form id by the U.S. government. He said I bought tickets as a local resident so I need to verify that I am. Experiencia negativa: Wanted to see the aquarium today but was sorely disappointed and decided it was not worth it. Since the last time we visited they are now using kiosk ticketing. 2 residents at $19.99 each should be $39.98 + tax. Instead the kiosk says it is $43.98 + tax. The employee could not explain the discrepancy and offered no way to correct the issue so we left. Not to mention the absurd amount of add ons and screens for two tickets.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience for such a great price! I couldn’t believe the variety of interesting fish and creatures they had. The staff were super knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! I definitely recommend planning ahead for parking and walking into the exhibit if you have small kids or are mobility impaired, the signage in the mall took us the long way around the building in the heat. We will definitely be back!
