Ohio......As always tanks full of healthy fish in very clean aquariums....Agnoquatics has a nice supply of foods including frozen....What is so important to customers is the expert knowledge of George and Alecia who can answer all your questions....Prices are very reasonable on fish and supplies, this explains why so many new hobbyists as well as many experienced hobbyists shop there....As always something new to see ,always fun to stop in and look around!

We recently got into the fish world and from the first time I went with my kids the younger guy working there along with the woman with the black hair (I wish I remembered their names) were extremely patient and helpful even though we got there 20 minutes before closing time. The store is so clean and they have some of the most beautiful tanks. It’s a dream in there!

We were greeted at the door and were impressed by the selection of fish. Unfortunately, we stayed in the store for about ten minutes but we're not helped and sadly left with no fish. Experiencia fantástica: The woman with the long black hair is always such a pleasure to talk to! Not only does she have loads of knowledge when it comes to fish, she is such a nice and lovely person! She is also great with kids. My 3 1/2 yr old get shy around new people and she never fails to get him out of his shell and get him to laugh! She is such a pleasure! My most recent purchase was of a trio of orange flash apistogramma cockatoos and they are gorgeous and outgoing! Even with new arrivals, they do a QT routine. Seriously, a wonderful place to go to!!

We were greeted immediately by Alesia (I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong) and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my kids. She walked through the fish options, kneeling down to get eye level with him, and made sure he got to pick the fish that meant the most to him. She gave us more information than we could have asked for (she definitely knows her stuff and you can sense her passion for what she does) and we feel totally comfortable with making sure we're doing what we need to maintain our fish-tank. Experiencia fantástica: This is a really nice store for freshwater fish and aquarium needs. This is a small store, but the fish and invertebrate selection are fantastic. The fish here appear far more healthy than most stores. Knowledgeable and helpful staff make the trip worth it. As of 2/12/2024, all my plants are alive and growing (anubias, crypts, rotalas, water wisteria, alternanthera) and all of my fish are healthy and have acclimated quickly (9x Celestial Pearl Danios, 1x Honey Gourami, 12x Neocaridina Shrimp [breeding]).

Experiencia fantástica: Best fish store ever! Freshwater fish and plants are the focus at this small, family-owned store. George and Alicia are awesome and the prices and selection are great. You can often find unusual fish that aren't available in your average big box pet store (like celestial pearl danios, neon kubotai rasboras, hillstream loaches, denison barbs, discus, cichlids, plakat bettas, panda garras, and many varieties of freshwater shrimp) and high-end foods. They recently updated the hardscape display and the aquatic plant selection is exemplary.

Experiencia fantástica: Most of the fish in our tank are from Agnoquatics, and the ones that aren’t, we got before we got before we knew better. They have the absolute healthiest fish, the tanks are clean, and their prices are fantastic—cheaper than big box stores and other local fish stores. Don’t waste your time on big box stores; we learned the hard way when we lost about 1/2 of our fish with disease introduced from the store tanks. If they don’t have what you are looking for—ask and they may be able to get it in. The employees are extremely knowledgeable but not pushy. We have been to every local fish store and big box store within an hours drive and Agnoquatics beats them all, hands down. If you’re new to the hobby and need advice or experienced and are looking to stock with cool fish/plants, this is your place.

Worth visiting or buying 100%!!! Also the best equipment for sale and the best chemicals. They also have a big variety of rocks and woods for tanks! They have healthy fish that will survive unlike some other places like Petco or pet smart! All my freshwater fish come from them!

My friend recommended it in passing but I wrote it down and I'm so glad I did. The staff descended upon me like they could smell my helplessness and immediately answered my every question. Alicia was naming my plants with their scientific names just by looking at a picture on my phone. They helped me get my tank in good order, and ready for new little shrimpies. Love this place. Highly highly highly recommend.

I have learned so much in such little time! Thank you! You really can’t beat their prices and you KNOW everything is well taken care of. If you are an avid fish collector or simply looking to start a new hobby, I highly recommend stopping in for a visit!

Experiencia fantástica: WOW! Loved this store. Overall, 9/10. I'd absolutely go here again for fish or plants. Their prices for aquarium supplies is a bit on the higher end, but not crazy. The store is fairly small and seems to specialize in freshwater which works for me. The tanks are clean, the prices for stock and plants is more than fair, the staff is quick and helpful, and everything from their bettas (I always judge a store on how their bettas are kept and look) to their shrimp to their angel fish to their livebearers looked very happy and alert. DETAILED REVIEW: Stock: **Freshwater fish -- 9/10 excellent selection, hundreds of beautiful bettas in large containers, a ton of guppies, mollies, platies, rare tetras, angel fish, loaches, shrimps (rare and regular), snails. All stock looked happy and clean. The only 'negative' is that they kept some male and female guppies together, which is not uncommon but can result in you getting an accidental pregnant guppies - I could tell a few of them were, but again, thats not unheard of with guppies, since they breed a lot. If you plan on NOT breeding, just keep an eye out to grab the males from the tanks. For me, this doesn't bother me since I have several community tanks. Very fair prices-- guppies were anywhere from 1.95 to 6.00 depending on what genetics you get. I ended up grabbing 2 guppies that look like they have a matrix pattern on them that I'm gonna try and breed. ** Saltwater & brackish fish -- null / 10 This seems to be a very freshwater-forward store. I could be wrong, though - I came in here specifically for freshwater fish and plants, so it's possible I missed something, but I didn't see saltwater/brackish tanks during my visit. ** Plants -- 10/10 I came here for plants and they have a TON. All are healthy, and I did not see any pest snails while I was there or when I placed them in my tank. No algae. No grime. Very clean, very nice, very healthy plants. If you need freshwater plants, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Bundles of plants range from 1.95 to 7.95, and they give you a very healthy/full bundle. They do not cheap out on you here! ** Overall impression: The staff was super quick, helpful, and knowledgable. I came in for hornwort, which they did not have, but their staff was able to recommend two other very similar plants. Prices are extremely fair. I always judge a store by how their betta fish look because most stores throw bettas in these tiny gross dishes. They had like 150 bettas - some of them super rare coloring I've never seen - and all were alert, happy, and under heaters. All of their fishes tanks were crystal clear and all the fish were alert and healthy looking. I would absolutely come here again, and I plan on shopping here in the future. <3

Experiencia fantástica: One of my top favorite lfs on the west side, this place is definitely worth the trip and checking out! They have every freshwater plant, fish, rock, or wood you could imagine. We will definitely be returning customers as we build our 75g community tank! They are very personal, and willing to help here. A lot of knowledge on everthing they have, and excellent quality! I wish I thought to take pictures in store but if you haven't been and enjoy the hobby....please check them out! We just got two amazing turquoise rainbow, and a Madagascar lace.
