Experiencia fantástica: Great find! By chance we ended up on the feeding time tour, led by Derrick. Very knowledgeable and passionate staff.

Experiencia positiva: Smaller aquarium with a touch tank. Staff was very friendly but it was quite crowded.

Experiencia negativa: It was small and not worth the money. It looked sad and empty inside, but was a little distraction for the kids.

Experiencia fantástica: It is a very cute, affordable experience. We spent about an hour there, and our favorite part was the touch tank.

The person going through each tank and talking about the fish life was not only knowledgeable, but kept my whole crew engaged throughout the tour from 11 years old to 70 years old! It's a small aquarium with a small entrance fee that is well worth it! Definitely a great thing to do with kids!

It’s rather small, but that’s the good thing ! It’s not overwhelming or crowded. The employees are so helpful & always have time to explain things! Our girls ( 7 & 8 ) didn’t want to leave !

Experiencia fantástica: This is a bit of a hidden gem. They have a great Beach and docks to the north and east. Very very reasonable to get in. It was between $4 and $5.00 a piece. They have a tank where you can touch different marine life and learn about them. Tanks of fish throughout and a learning area as well. Fun activities as you're going through. This was a perfect little pick-me-up.

Experiencia positiva: Perfect for younger children, older children will get bored, easily. The aquarium is small, and some of the tanks are not well-maintained. However, our 5 month-old loved it because there was plenty for him to look at. There are a couple fun activities for kids to do like there is a dark tank that they can find animals with a light and there is also a hands on tank where the kiddos can experience some sea animals. The aquarium is free the first Tuesday of the month… So, that made it worth the trip. The aquarium sits right on the water and it is a beautiful view!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is great! The staff and volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions. Watch as the fish are fed, listen to videos concerning sea creatures, and even touch some of the water life. This is a place for all ages to visit. My wish is that more funding was available to expand the facility and the programs could be expanded.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice aquarium. They have tanks that represent different environments that are either local or further south. It's not a huge aquarium where you would see 5' sharks and rays, but most would appreciate what they have there. They do have the educational aspect of the visit as well, which is nice. The staff was very nice.

Experiencia positiva: Part of the Smithsonian and definitely worth a visit. Lots of interactive things for the kids. The staff are so helpful and patient. The touch tank was the highlight for us. Don't skip the gift shop. Lots of cute and reasonably priced goodies to buy.

Experiencia positiva: Stopped by for a quick visit with my wife, her sister, and her boyfriend. I would agree with a previous reviewer saying it's a small quaint aquarium. We got to see some cool marine life and corals. They have some endangered sea life, and you get to see their laboratory. It's a fun little exhibit that has some good teaching moments. Also, when we went, there was a new batch of seahorse babies. I will say due to the smaller space, it got easily crowded with the couple families that were there. The bathrooms are outside behind the building, and are like the bathrooms you use in an outdoor park. Not a port-a-potty, but it smelled like urine, and is a public restroom.

Experiencia fantástica: Little aquarium place, but very cool to look at and lots of information to learn; and it's cheap to go in. Alan is a great employee. Showed us the touch tank and shared lots of information of the creatures in the tank. The cool part was putting your finger in the peppermint shrimp. They really do tickle! Must go see for yourself. Small place, but so much to learn and look!

Experiencia fantástica: We happened to show up at the aquarium when they were feeding the fish. A worker offered to give us the feeding tour and it made the visit so fun. She was so knowledgeable about all of the fish and coral and explained it in a way that was enjoyable. After the aquarium, we visited the history museum and enjoyed that as well. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff answered lots of questions and enriching information about local marine life. You can get up close and personal with the creatures in the aquarium and ride pools. WELL-WORTH a 30-45 minute visit on your drive along highway A1A!!

Experiencia fantástica: Delightful little aquarium with unique attractions. We saw baby seahorses at different ages. And beautiful coral with colorful fish. A sweet little gift store with reasonably priced items. The admission price was well worth it and you could also tag on the museum. Pack a lunch and make a day, with the park right there with a beach and a playground.

Experiencia fantástica: Very small aquarium with a reasonable entry fee. It is more of a place for kids than if you wanted to really see the sealife in the area. Total time was around 10 minutes even at a leisurely pace. There is a small gift shop, but at the time all the computer systems were down so we could not purchase anything.

Experiencia fantástica: So cute and quaint it's the perfect location for teaching, seeing, and hands on learning about some of the incredible wildlife that is among us, it's so cool how diverse and beautiful this planet is. So much to see and explore. Totally recommend for the family and especially for little ones. It was the perfect thing to visit for us during a rainy day.

Experiencia fantástica: Katrina was so informative! today was really rainy and we decided to do something indoors so we decided to go to the aquarium. We happened to get there in time for the afternoon feeding and Katrina was fantastic. We even signed up for the night time aquarium in February and we're so excited! When you buy you tickets make sure you add on the st. Lucie historical society.... Very cool the fort Pierce history.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing displays and staff makes rounds asking if you have questions and make you feel like they really want you there. Seems much larger than the building it's in. Quite an effort has been taken here and it shows. Reasonable price and first Tuesday is free.

Experiencia positiva: A little smaller than I thought and is the same as the Smithsonian attraction, I thought they were different places. Though it's small, it's packed with many different aquariums with different biomes represented. Definitely a must visit.

Nice for a little education about what's in the surrounding waters. I always love watching the seahorse displays and the touch tank

Experiencia fantástica: We came with our 5 and 7 year old and we were lucky enough to arrive on a free entry day and also fish feeding time. We spent about an hour here and the kids enjoyed all the tanks as well as the touch tank. Diann the guide was very kind and knowledgeable. We will be back!

It may look small, but there is plenty to see and learn!!!! I like the fact if you can't get to here or the museum, the ticket doesn't expire. You can go back at a later date!! Super friendly people as well!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great trip to learn about our coastal waters & to take little ones because it isn't super big and long to cause them to get agitated/ overwhelming like theme parks/ similar can be. Very affordable.I've lived here all my life(36)and never been but I always wanted to go. I went this spring break with my 8 and 12 yr old. They smiled and loved it the whole time. Which is hard to do with tech being in the fore front of life now esp for kids. People are people, young or old and will still love interacting with their surroundings. So, Go!

Experiencia fantástica: The aquarium is great for kids. It is right next to a cool playground, just a few steps away. The day I went, the sky, the water(which was a cool turquoise) the aquarium building, the general Cape cod style/Nantucket style of Fort Pierce was a scene out of a book. Generally, Fort Pierce feels old and broken down, but there are surprises with this side of town and the aquarium itself. We got to touch one sea creature I have never seen before, the cutest leaf looking creature which seems to be flying in the water like a dragon. If you go there, you will see it, it doesn't live for long, so don't waste time. The fish there came from within a 2 mile radius of the beach right next door. They treat them well( the fish), and they don't look glazed and bored swimming around aimlessly like in most aquariums. The price is great and staff is knowledgeable.

Special mention to Rob at the interactive tank. He was very kind, enthusiastic and insightful, we learned so much from him! If you’re in Ft. Pierce, this aquarium is absolutely worth your while :)

They give a feeding tour 3 times a day (it may be twice a day) that was fun to watch and they also have a pond where you can touch the animals. The price is VERY reasonable. Please stop in and bring the kids if you've got them!! Great time for all!!

Experiencia fantástica: For what it was it was amazing, it's very small and parking will be impossible due to sharing a lot with the public access beach. A great variety of sea life and knowledgeable staff!
