Experiencia fantástica: This is my home store that I visit at least twice a week. With that being said, I get excited to shop at the store every time like I’ve just gotten into the hobby again. Brayden has provided me with so much knowledge and answered an unbelievable amount of questions with a positive attitude and a smile. Very personable and is worth all the praise. Stephanie has provided me with new insights that have improved the quality of my fish’s lives. Damien has treated me with so much respect and always is on the lookout for fish and coral that I have informed him I am seeking out. All of these great people and the Kona brand have become like personal friends to me and I’m so grateful for all the relationships I’ve built with each and every employee.

Experiencia negativa: My family and I went into the store today. The first 10 min we were looking around, nobody acknowledged us or asked if we needed help. There was only 1 other customer. I finally found what I needed then went to the register and waited for another 10 min with no service. I made eye contact with the man working there, he saw me waiting at the register. There was a guy waiting in front of me, he was waiting longer than I was. I asked him if anyone acknowledged him and he said no. I put my stuff down and left. Terrible customer service. I will not be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing! Referred by a friend, I have a small 5-gallon hobby tank, so walking in for the first time was like seeing Disneyland but for tropical/exotic fish! Beautiful store, clean and organized, plus, the best purchasing experience I have ever had. I did a little research, knew what kind of fish would help alleviate a fast-growing isopod population, any kind of rasbora would do. I explained my concerns, the staff listened (I'm bad with names, sorry,) and they helped me with finding a few harlequin rasboras. We mulled over the idea of an assassin snail to help, but they were so nice, no pressure, and they said the rasboras should do the trick. This morning, all rasboras are alive and well, plus the isopods are less prevalent in the corners of the tank! I'll be a repeat customer, for sure! Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: The tanks are well maintained and they have a plethora of live plants and a huge variety of freshwater and saltwater fish. They usually have displays with an indoor koi pond, microtanks, seahorses, a huge discus tank and what must be 100 marine tanks. Obviously their bettas aren't in little cups! It's a great place to visit with a friendly and helpful staff. Top notch establishment. Update: Bought two more gorgeous, healthy discus this week; great customer support by Brennan. Highly recommended for quality and price!

Experiencia negativa: walked in earlier today and was not greeted. waited around for 10-15 minutes browsing fish and was never acknowledged except for when the worker (male) was helping a customer (male) and saying “excuse me” so they could walk past me. the writing on the tanks are unreadable, so u need assistance regardless. never again. get some female workers.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an awesome experience at Kona Reef a few months ago and am finally writing my review! I went in looking for a pair of Storm Clownfish. Logan was the employee that helped me out. Even though I was there for at least an hour deciding, I didn’t feel rushed at all, which is rare for most pet stores. He took the time to check in on me and ask what I liked about the clowns I was deciding between. His enthusiasm for the hobby was contagious. The store itself is great too, clean, well organized, and stocked with a wide variety of fish and marine supplies. But honestly, it’s Logan’s exceptional customer service that’ll keep me coming back. I highly recommend Kona Reef if you’re looking for quality fish and fantastic advice. Big thanks to Logan for the help!

I know in this hobby corals/tanks look good one minute and then can go down hill fast. However, the crew ar Kona on Shea have always been consistent and steady. Their tanks are on point and the staff is awesome. Keep up the great work

He helped me when I was trying to get my first salt water tank and was helpful in every way from start to finish. Even after we had to take about an hour of his time waiting on me to get the payment right. Then, he made it easy for me to know the basic stuff I would need to start the tank, even with the small budget I had. Love this place highly recommend.

Very helpful staff (better than all my YouTube “research”). They do water tests for $2. Amazing variety of fresh and salt water fish, including an eel and seahorses.

On my most recent trip I was surprised to find the black coconut shark had laid eggs and The discus tank had an active breeding pair guarding eggs. That tells me they take care of the tanks and the fish!

Hunter, Isaiah and Gus are always so helpful when we go in and have answered every question we’ve asked them (and there have been a LOT). They helped us when our tang got worms and have been helping us maintain our tank since day one. They’re probably the reason our tank is doing so well! The store has a great selection of fish and coral and their store tanks are always fun to look at too. Experiencia fantástica: I decided to check this place out for the first time today and was not disappointed. I was immediately greeted by both a friendly worker and the shop dog. I spent about 30 minutes looking around and all the fish looked healthy and the tanks very clean. I didn't see a single dead fish which is far removed from other fish stores I have visited. During the 30 minutes I spent looking around I was asked 2-3 more times if I needed any help (awesome customer service). I absolutely plan on returning. Great store, fair prices and helpful staff.

Cougar helped us and answered all of our questions (which was a lot) and you could tell he is passionate about this as well as knowledgeable. We didn’t leave with a fish but we’ll be back again when we’re ready to buy. Overall though I felt much more confident about caring for a fish and its environment after speaking with Cougar. He was also patient the entire time and we never felt rushed! It left a good impression of the business!

They are always open to teaching and listening to others that need some advice. Even the best aquarium enthusiasts need help from time to time. They have a great selection of coral frags and monster corals as well. They have beautiful salt tanks and fresh water tanks with beautiful well taken care off fish. I buy all of my frozen food for my tanks from them as well as alot of my water. Always a pleasure to go in and look around and talk with the people that work there. Wonder amazing staff.

Ben and all the other team members at this location have gone above to take care of their store, fish, and customers. Not only that, but from time to time I have a question I need an expert opinion on and they've always been super awesome in over the phone assistance (and they charge nothing for the advice *unlike other shops). Seriously cant recommend this place enough.

She helped us pick out some great starter fish for our tank, while making sure our goal fish would be still compatible once we figured out how to care for it! Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to this location for over two years now and I honestly don't go anywhere else unless I absolutely have to. That being said, this location is great! They always have a nice variety of creatures in stock, primarily I keep shrimp, ember tetra, miniature corys, mostly just smaller aquatic friends. You can always ask if they can have a particular species shipped to their location, I did so with some Pinocchio shrimp. The inventory on plants always vary but is always plentiful, I don't know if there has ever been a time where I didn't have the urge to get another addition to one of my tanks.This is the only shop I will go to for R/O water as well, they're always stocked up and very rarely have I stopped by and came up short. Aside from that the staff is always very friendly and for the most part knowledgeable, can't be experts on every single detail. The manager Ben is usually the person I will ask if I have a difficult question I haven't been able to resolve and find a solution for. All in all I couldn't recommend them more so, fintastic place and people. Always.

They've answered any questions I had and my small tank has never been better. I go at least once a month for their RO water for fresh water which helps keep my tank and fish healthy without the need of extra chemicals. Highly recommend!

I was able to get a male betta to start out with the help of Walter. He also helped me to purchase some plants to fit the right tank. They had some amazing tank selections as well for when I develop more into the hobby in the future. They offer lots of member sales with a membership. Definitely recommend for all fish needs!

Walter and Ben in particular have really helped me choose the right fish and corals and avoid making major errors. Even when I've ventured out and made rash decisions, they have helped me find ways to correct them. the fish are all coppered to be sure that parasites are minimized, really showing how Kona cares for their clients. Experiencia fantástica: This is a great shop for beginners thru experts. The manager, Ben is always willing to answer questions and give recommendations. Walter does services for my marine aquarium and takes pride in his work. He is always able to answer my questions about my coral, fish, algae whatever I throw at him when he is in my home. You can’t go wrong shopping at Kona.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, such a beautiful place! The atmosphere is just perfect. You feel like you are underwater when's your in this shop. Everything there was immaculate, clean, vibrant, healthy, flawless. Prices are best I've seen in the valley and the quality, so top notch! This is my new fish shop. I can't stop thnking of this one Betta there, a real heartthrob! I'm not a picture taker (besides wanting to take some video of the Bettas I want to buy, too bad I can't post video here) but such a nice collection and when they see you taking photos,they offer you a lense to shoot through to show fluorescence. I will be back...
