The last time we went purchased 2 goldfish at 45 each and both died within 3 days. The lady in checkout said she couldn't guarantee the fish because they were new. just tired of losing money to a place that doesn't sell good fish. Store bought fish have lasted much longer and don't die within 3 days.

Experiencia negativa: SAVE YOUR MONEY!! All the bettas from this location come with diseases. It is not my water. I’ve talked to multiple customers with the same testimony (more than one person!!!) This is truly disgusting the way you guys sell sick fish. For weeks we’ve been buying bettas thinking it was our problem but we have all of out other fish thriving. We treated fish from this location for parasites and I have evidence. If you’re not reaching out to give me a refund for the 200 dollars plus I spent on bettas I don’t want to hear it. From an experienced fish keeper, please don’t buy fish from this location THEY ARE SICKKKK

Experiencia negativa: I am never going here again. I spent a good amount of money and almost every fish i got was riddled with parasites and bacterial infections. I now have all the fish i got from here in a hospital tank. At this point, the fish are no where near even worth the effort it's taking me to nurse them back to health. I was told the fish there were quarentined! Some of the staff is nice, but some were just unhelpful. Sure, this fish farm has beautiful fish, but at what cost? Im just praying none of those illnesses infected my main tank.... Anything less than a refund for this situation is insane. And don't bother with store credit because im never coming here again. Please never come here and save yourselves the hassle!!

Experiencia negativa: I used to love coming to this place with my kids, family ambiance and everything, but lately it's become one of the many business Miami style where you feel like you are bothering the employees when begging to get helped. There are still a couple of nice people in there but the majority makes you feel like you are getting the fish for free, therefore have to wait for their sweet time to get attended. Most of the time you have to run after them while asking for what you need and don't even let you finish what you have to say, just because they need to have a conversation with another employee or whatever. Every time I go, I spend a fair amount of money, but not sure of going back, not that much of a neighborhoodlike feeling anymore

It's like walking into an outdoor supermarket with ponds of beautiful fish, plants, and fresh water critters. If you don't have ANY idea what fish you want? Just tell them to give you a minute when they ask if you need anything. Walk the whole place. Cichlids, koi, guppies, cool plecos, betta OMG THE BETTAS, Fancy goldfish, mollies, are you still reading? Walk the place, get your wows out of the way, and if your tank is nowhere near just one of these rectangles? Don't worry, the staff there are excellent at getting THAT ONE FISH out of fifty you want.

Experiencia negativa: Bad experience! They have a great stock but do not take their advice. I had a Betta Fish for a year and a half and I was advised to buy some Angel Fish because “they were good tank mates”. I woke up the next day and the 4 “Angel Fish” killed my Betta.

I don't know how they do it, but the prices on quality fish and plants cannot be beat. I stop by at least twice a month and there's always something new to see. When I was there an employee was carrying a big plant in a pot, he came up to her and said let me carry that. It's to heavy for you. Also Andy is amazing. He gave me more information in 30 minutes then my research on Google for a month. He knows all about fishes, plants, water treatment and so much more. He is super sweet and patient. Experiencia fantástica: What a unique place. Would have never imagined "A Fish Farm" was a thing but it has been a thing since 1971! Facinating place to visit with my mom. I'm setting up her first fish tank. I have to say that the young gent that helped us, Jonathan was EXCELLENT! Jonathan was sincere, helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole experience 5-star. So thank you and we'll be coming back in about a week or two to pick up some more fish.

Experiencia negativa: I really love the atmosphere of this store and their selection of fish/plants is awesome but their tanks have an ick problem. I purchased 2 loaches, added them to my established beta tank, and within a few days white spots appeared on all the fish and they started dying :( . Went back to purchase some plants a couple weeks later and noticed their black knife fish were completely covered in white ick spots. It looks like their water system is all connected so that probably means all of the fish have been exposed to this pathogen in some capacity. Based on past reviews this seems to be a problem thats been going on for a while and they haven’t done anything about it. I won’t be buying any fish from them again sadly..

Experiencia negativa: I bought beautiful and healthy looking guppies at their store, however they all died about 2-3 weeks later. They started turning whiteish in parts of their bodies and kept dying. Agree with other commenters here that they need to rectify this situation related to their guppies health. But with caution, because although they look healthy at the store, their health deteriorates afterwards. Seems like a long acting parasite.

He gave me his best recommendations for my tank and he was very knowledgeable in the different type of fishes and more! Sadly one of my guppies randomly die 2 weeks later and they kindly asked me to bring my guppy in to exchange it. Amazing customer service 100% recommend this place

Experiencia negativa: After two separate purchases from this tropical fish store (1st 15 guppies for $75) and then (12 guppies for $36), I'm afraid I can only give it one star, despite its impressive variety of guppy species. I have been keeping guppies for years, and my experience with these fish is anything but amateur. I have had established tanks and ponds for years. Both times I bought guppies from this store, they ended up dying within 2-3 weeks due to a mysterious white disease, which was resistant to the various treatments I tried. During my second visit, I spoke to a staff member about my previous experience and pointed out a few sick fish in their tanks. Unfortunately, the staff member did not take my concerns seriously or isolate the affected fish. I attempted to select healthy guppies from other tanks, but after just over a week, they all started showing symptoms of the same white disease. It is genuinely disappointing because the guppies at this store are indeed beautiful, but their health leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot recommend purchasing guppies from this store until they address their health issues. I have now spent a combined $200 between guppies and medicine for nothing.

Experiencia positiva: Very interesting fish store with a big selection! Took a star off because there were quite a few dead fish floating in some tanks and the bettas were kept in just plastic cups. That said, my new long-finned serpae tetras, von rio tetras and sterbai corydoras are all quite healthy-- no casualties so far! I like that they packaged the fish with compressed O2 so they're safe in the bag longer on the drive home.

I've been going for years now, and they've only been improving the plant stock and quality of fish they have, as well as variety. All staff members are very knowledgeable and have awesome recommendations. Their vast selection of fish will stun you, and there's a little of everything for everyone, including people with ponds. If you are wondering if this fascinating spot has tanks everywhere, you're partially correct. Most of their fish are actually located in cement tanks that are laid out conveniently in rows and all labeled for consumer ease. They have glass tanks of all sizes lining the walls of the entrance and plant section. Another thing to know is the entire store is run by well water. As far as selling aquarium parts, tanks, decorations, and gravel, they have everything you need and more. It's a one stop shop for everything aquatic. THEY ONLY SUPPLY FRESHWATER FISH AND AQUARIUMS. NO SALTWATER.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is cool and the staff is super nice and I highly recommend it. HOWEVER the one thing that should be noted is that they use well water in all their fish tubs. The reason I bring this up is because you have acidic water in your aquarium or even near or at neutral water... unless you know how to slowly acclimate fish, you may have a lot of fish die when you take it home. The ph and hardness at the farm is super high and you just need to do your homework on how to properly acclimate fish purchased here. I learned the hard way and same has happened to other friends who purchased fish here.

Experiencia negativa: The place is really nice but my experience with the fish has not been good. I went and bought 6 corydoras to add to my 40 gallon. Overnight half of them had died. I went back and told them about it and they tested my water and it was fine. They gave me 3 more corydoras and charged me for them. 2 days after and 5 of them had died. I asked for a refund and they said they don’t offer refunds, just store credit. So I went back with the 1 corydora that was left because I wasn’t going to keep on buying more. When I got there they only gave me store credit for just that one corydora after they had already charged me the first time I went back for just the 3 that had died. I spent well over 60$ for nothing. This happened back in June 2021 but I won’t bother to go back.

Experiencia fantástica: This one of my favorite place to go and enjoy the afternoon looking at all the different freshwater fish and remembering my early childhood at the Tropical Flea Market, and that blue truck. The staff here are always so friendly and ask if we needed any help. You can leisurely stroll down each isles looking at the guppies, mollies, angelfish, goldfish, and cichlids to name a few species of fish they have here. My favorite is of course the, Betta fish. Come on by and enjoy the day and you may just bring home your own tropical fish to enjoy at home.

All of the fish we got seem to be in excellent health, and they have great deals when you buy multiple fish. Also a very nice assortment of plants and driftwood. It's a nice place to just walk around and look, maybe get some ideas on something you would like to do, what kind of fish you would like to keep, or get some advice on where to start. Honestly it was so relaxing there, I could have stayed all day. Big thanks to the girl who assisted her there, I never got her name.

Experiencia fantástica: If you want to have a big fish tank with an array of colorful fish, this is a good place, with better deals than PetSmart. It's highly recommend to ask about fish behavior and how often you take out SOME of the water for cleaner refills. Don't forget to take some plants with you, it'll make your tank more authentic for the little ecosystem. You wanna go for sand for the fish to dig up if they are territorial. Some decorations for them to hide in is a nice touch, some fish just like having their own space.

Experiencia positiva: Best and most beautiful fish and the best variety. Was disappointed with service. Manager wanted to charge me $1 to test water quality. I didn’t have cash on me. Instead of letting it by and telling me “next time”, she wouldn’t test the water for me. So I guess I’ll go to Pets Mart and get it tested for free. Then I’ll spend $40-50 on fish if the water is ready. You try to support local/small businesses, and they drive you away. I won’t be going there anymore for my aquarium needs.
