Experiencia fantástica: An awesome animal experience park tucked back in a corner off the beaten path in Gulfport that you may not know about. We took some family members from the coast who had never been there. From what i understand this was a rebuild of the aquarium that used to be located on hwy 90 during the 80s/90s & if so I have pics of me & my dad there as a child. Anyhow, This was my 2nd time to visit. There is a dolphin & sea lion show, bird show, aviary w/feeding sticks available for purchase, sting ray bay, a tour train that will ride you around the park, an outdoor play area, cafe & gift shop, photo ops, & in the discovery center there are some informational & historic artifacts available to view as well as an aquarium room with small sting ray bay in the back & a room where they have someone bring out a small alligator & a milksnake & discuss the animals to the audience. I really enjoyed going here with my children & family & can see visiting again in the future. The admission price is a good value to me as well at a reasonable $17/adult & $15/child 3-12. Also, they offer multiple animal experience opportunities that are very reasonable. All of the information I found was located on their website.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! What an amazing place to visit while on the Ms. Gulf Coast. We had a great time with our kids. The dolphin, sea Lion, bird, and reptile show were all informative and very entertaining. The staff was great and you can tell they work hard for the animals. I highly recommend this place. We randomly found it on Google and I’m glad we did. They need to advertise more because this is truly a gem. Also, the price point for admission was very good as well. A must go if you are visiting the area and enjoy marine life.

Experiencia negativa: Upon entering the lady in the ticket office booth (she has tattoos on her arms) didn’t even acknowledge me, but when a white family came to buy tickets her voice changed and she sounded more happier. When I got inside the other lady at the inside didn’t speak nor say anything. It wasn’t a greeting or anything from anyone and it seems like an interesting place to be. If my child wasn’t going on a field trip here I wouldn’t be here at all. Such a bad first impression. Ugghhh I still have to get to the shows but let’s see how this goes. So far not good at all. 6/17/25

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing time at Ocean Adventure Marine Park! All of the shows were so much fun from the dolphins to the sea lions, every performance was entertaining and well-done. One of our favorite parts was feeding the birds in the aviary such a unique and interactive experience. The staff was friendly and the park was clean and well-organized. A perfect day of family fun.

Experiencia positiva: Seeing the dolphins and petting the stingrays, starfish and sharks was so much fun for the kiddos. It's pretty much impossible to understand what the people are saying during the presentations though. There's a large hike from some parts to the other part.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our experience! This will not be an all day adventure, but still VERY much worth it! We loved our Dolphin experience and Taylor the trainer! The shows were fun and the museum was interesting. Our favorite was the sting ray pool! We loved their interactions and loved the spotted bamboo shark. It was so peaceful to watch them swim by. The staff were helpful, answered our millions of questions, and love the conservation efforts they're making. I was impressed, too, that photos of our dolphin experience were included in the price! I recommend this for families of all ages. My 12 and 15 year olds said it was way more fun than they had anticipated.

Experiencia negativa: Not your typical Aquarium. Mainly a learning experience for Elementary Children Tours. Best part of the tour was when 1 dolphin did 2 jumps. The on-site bus tour was a minute ride around the building with no commentary. They do have a small gift shop and a place to eat.

Experiencia fantástica: You get the tickets and there are shows you can watch all day, so if you miss one, you can cycle around to the next. Dolphins, seals, alligators and manta rays, they have a hands on section for kids and adults alike where you can touch nursery sharks and rays! Just leave the cuttle fish alone, he doesn't like to play!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time here getting to interact with the animals. My son loved being able to swim with the stingrays. You could easily spend 4 hrs here. Great educational place to take the kids. The shows are great to watch as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Went on a satureday it wasn't terribly busy fifteen bucks per perso. to get in. It has a dolphin and sea lion show with a stingray and starfish petting exhibits amd several other things to do. I like it better than the other aquarium i paid for my 9 year old to go swimming with the stingrays she had fun.

Experiencia negativa: Extremely disappointed with my visit today since they have completely changed the shows for the dolphins and sea lions. We came to ocean adventure today for my mother’s birthday because she loves ocean adventures conservation efforts and the animals. Our first disappointment was when we watched the sea lion show where the sea lion no longer does any tricks or anything really. The second comes with the dolphin show we’ve been many times over the years and have absolutely loved the show this time was a huge let down. We sit down and the show starts well the dolphins didn’t do any tricks they used to over the years such as touching the balls that are hung from the ceiling, nor did they play with the balls that were in the pool. The third and final disappointment came when we went to feed the parakeets at 2:30 and we were informed they shut it down for the day. My mother wanted to do this specifically because she loves parakeets and wanted to save it for last because of how much time we spend feeding them since we always buy a lot of sticks. I called about a week ago to ask if the parakeet feeding will be open all day and I was informed that yes they will be open until 4pm when they close. I will say the staff is very knowledgeable about each animal and nice which is why I gave them the two stars since we do still appreciate and love their conservation efforts especially since they do rehabilitate animals when they can

Experiencia positiva: The facility is nicely maintained and the staff is very friendly but the animals have almost no room and I’m not sure if the way they are bringing kept is ethically acceptable. The playground is really nice though

Experiencia positiva: This park was nice and clean. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lady who monitors the bird exhibit was pretty rude to the children on the field trip. She used an unpleasant tone with the children even when explaining to them how to enter and exit the exhibit. She rushed the children out of the exhibit and would occasionally show facial expressions of disgust and aggravation. The children and other parent noticed this behavior and wanted to leave that exhibit. Not to sure if we are returning here.

Experiencia positiva: Education? Yes Fun and entertaining? No I went there for dolphin show, but was disappointed. Dolphin show was 15 min but there was very little jumps and stunts. I felt they were still learning new tricks, so for now, what they could do was very little. For me, Sea lion was doing more interaction with trainer than dolphins. Rest of other show were little add-ons but not worth on their own.

Experiencia positiva: Was disappointed from the start. They overcharged us a great amount but we didn't catch it until we left. We paid $97 for 2 adults & 3 children, if you do the math $17 X5 is $85, but our fault for not checking at that time. The "shows" were short, lack value and didn't highlight the animals. The employees were knowledgeable & friendly and the kids liked the playground. You have a good mission & we love supporting conservation efforts so overall was ok. Not suitable for young kids, better for older children.

Experiencia positiva: Great experience to just go reason for 3 stars the birthday party experience was horrible 1st you get a room but it's for an hour after that you need to take everything out. You get a private show in the show in the back but you are in the sun while normal shows are in an over hang with fans which thier are not alot of people to begin with. The kids do get about 10 mins to pet the dolphins and a picture with them. It was 850 for 20 people to be at the party and 25 for each extra guess while tickets are 17 dollars a peace so your paying 41 bucks for kids 5 and older (no adults) to touch dolphins for about 20 secs a peace a room for an hour while they set up and a picture. Also we were told they closed at 5 but they were kicking us out at 4. If you want to do a party just pay for everyone none party it will be cheaper prices are 17 for adults and 15 for kids.

Experiencia negativa: Don't waste your money with dolphins. You pet the dolphins not a swim. I was the only adult and felt uncomfortable! Someone in back of me even said they thought there was an age limit..this is my 3rd dolphin experience and by far the worst! $129 a total rip off... Other locations you can pet dolphins for $45 Will never return!

Experiencia fantástica: We went here for an overnight experience with our cub/boy scout troop. It was a blast. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining! They are also very accommodating for us. We were even brought popcorn for the movie! They the following morning, we were given a private show with the seals and dolphins! The shows were very informative and entertaining. All of the kids enjoyed the entire experience! Thank you to the staff and management for giving us the opportunity!!! This was a very memorable weekend!

Experiencia fantástica: I have not been to this place since the 90s at the old Pre-Katrina location,and the new place is really nice. Parking is ample,but this location seems more tucked away and secluded that the original location which if I remember correctly was closer to the beach. Buying the tickets seem to be a painless process and the admission is for the Ocean Adventure Park and the Mammal Institute. The Dolphin show was entertaining,but I remember the old shows had more dolphins doing more tricks,but again it was still a great show. The Sea Lion was the best part. There is a look in area on a lower level where you can view both sets of animals in there separate tanks. There is a wheelchair lift,but the day we were there it was broken. There is a sting ray area that does shows as well,but we just opted to pet them along the sharks and move on. The Parakeet area was being cleaned when we walked in,but it was still a cool experience. The Gift shop wasn't too expensive as there actually some items that were below a couple of bucks. The only refreshments I saw were vending machines,but they are cash only. There's a play area for kids as well. My only issue is the same one I had as a kid with this place. The schedule of shows is very sporadic. If you miss a show you might be screwed for the day because the next show may be 2-3 hours later. Id call ahead or check the website so you can plan ahead. Its still a great place and all of the animals seem happy and well cared for. Its worth the drive

Experiencia fantástica: We enjoyed our visit. Our 7-year-old and 4-year-old enjoyed the shows and touch tanks. We plan to come back and do one of the encounters when our kids get a little older.

Experiencia positiva: We had a good time. The dolphin and sea lion talks were cute. I do hate we came too late for the shows. The thing I read online said there were later shows but that was not the case. Last show is around 12:30. And the girl kicked us out of the bird room maybe 2 minutes after walking in because she said it was closing even though they didn’t close for another half hour.

Experiencia negativa: Worst $87 I’ve ever spent for 5 people. The website makes it seem amazing. You get there and there are young people working who have no desire to show excitement. You get excited to see a dolphin and sea lion show just to get there and find out there are only 2 shows a day and they are early. No point in buying tickets ahead of time. We could’ve walked around the whole place without paying because none of the employees seemed to care. You can walk around PetSmart and see the same fish they have in the aquarium part. Highly disappointing and absolutely nothing like what their website advertises.

Experiencia positiva: I wish the website had more details on the schedule of events. There were only “talks” scheduled in the afternoon when we had planned to be there. The “shows” we wanted to see were in the morning. The alligator and snake talk would have been more engaging if there was a visual presentation to go with it. The speaker held a snake and talked about it then held an alligator and talked about it. More audience participation would have helped engage the younger kids. It was hard to hear/understand the presenter in this photo. The area was very echoey.

Experiencia fantástica: Ocean Adventures and IMMS were really cool to visit. It was smaller than I expected, which I don’t see as a bad thing. All the animals seemed to be taken care of well. The park was very clean and taken care of as well. It was also very nice to see that the staff prioritized education and animal welfare over entertainment. The staff and keepers paid close attention to the animals and their responses to ensure the safety of the guests and animals. I did the Sea Lion experience and they gave him time to destress (swim around in his pool) if needed.

Experiencia positiva: Extremely underwhelming.The stingray touch pool was cool! The museum and aquariums were small but interesting enough. The dolphin and sea lion show was the best part and it was only 15 mins of a lady talking into a PA system that you can barely understand. It is June, it's 100 degrees outside, and the cafe is closed, the vending machines are empty, and the only thing to drink is a $4 bottle of water at the typically overpriced gift shop. Overall it's something kinda fun for the kids but bring your own drinks and don't have high expectations of this place. Thankfully it's not terribly expensive to get in but the sea lion kiss and dolphin encounter is pricey! I do appreciate that they help with conservation and the money you spend goes toward helping them rescue and tend to marine life in need so I don't regret the money we spent but again, it's underwhelming at best.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give no stars I would. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and the entire experience. I spent alot of money for my autistic daughter to enjoy her birthday adventure. I paid for the picture package from her dolphin encounter and all the pictures were horrible and had literally only 2 photos with my daughter by herself with the dolphin. I did not pay extra money for group pictures of people I don't even know. The sea lion picture was horrible as well. She was not looking at the camera and the sea lions body was cut off. What was advertised online is not what we experienced at all. Over $300 not including purchases from the gift shop is unacceptable for such an unorganized park. The workers were rude especially the older lady at the turtle Cafe. We walked in the gift shop when we first arrived and we were not even greeted. I gathered they are not use to African American customers. No accommodations for handicapped visitors, train not running, back and forth long walks in the heat. My daughter got overheated waiting on the sea lion that wouldn't come out, they tried 3 times and eventually had to go get another sea lion. This was the worse experience I have ever experienced and it's heartbreaking knowing it was for my daughter's Birthday.

Experiencia fantástica: Highlights: Clean, Educational, Animal-Oriented, Family Fun The Ocean Adventures Marine Park, in cooperation with the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, is a wonderful place to take your family to admire and learn about Mississippi Gulf Coast species. While there, we were able to see Bottlenose Dolphins, Cownose Stingrays, Kemp Ridley Sea Turtles, and a variety of bird species and aquarium life. The museum has lots of information about hurricane Katrina, sea animal rescue, and different types of sea life. We enjoyed the snake and alligator educational hour and watching sting ray feeding time. Overall, the facilities are updated and there are plenty of places to sit throughout the day. The animal care staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions.

Experiencia negativa: Upon first arrival, pulling up to a beautiful modern multi-building complex, expectations were high. Note; definitely off the beaten path though. But as we entered and went from exhibit to exhibit, it was clear the product we were being offered was bare minimum and nowhere reaching the full potential of what this place could really offer. I assure you this place will fall into bankruptcy eventually if the Owners do not invest into more qualified Trainers and more professional entertainment for the Dolphins and Sea Loin Shows which is the main attraction. Each show lasted only ten minutes and very amateurish to say the least. Even the Emcee's sound quality was so poor you couldn't understand a word said. If nothing changes, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time and money by visiting this place.

They have fun and informative shows, a stingray tank, parakeets, and amazing animal interactions/experiences. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the Gulfport, MS area.

Experiencia positiva: Beautiful to see animals and enjoy them but they had school trips the same time as us and could not hear or see most things. Horrible that I pay for it and ended up leaving before can see everything. They said come back later well if my trip was planned to see now why do I need to come back because you do not schedule schools on certain days and advertise it so others can see or enjoy without kids screaming or taking up room that you can't touch rays, hear shows or enjoy your vacation. Horrible service and people to make me feel it was my fault. Even told them had cancer and had to be careful but was trying to spend quality time with my child.

Experiencia positiva: Small place but worth the trip. The dolphins were great, the sound system in the rays building was terrible, the birds were pretty but were full by the time we got in there. No need to buy feed sticks because they not eating it.

Experiencia negativa: This was a strange place. They had a bunch of different "shows" but they only happen at one specific time so if you're not there all day you won't see some of them. The dolphins show was cute, but not really anything spectacular. They had a few small aquariums inside and a couple tanks where you could touch sting rays. The bird "feeding experience" was very mediocre. You pay for a stick with a tiny spot of bird food on the end and have to stand there waiting for a budgie to come to you and eat it. Most kids weren't tall enough to really do it. Overall I felt it was a waste of money.

Experiencia fantástica: This was one fun place .. people working are very good and knowledgeable...don't be afraid to ask them questions..great for kids and adults...good price for admission remember this is a non profit..they rescue marine critters...they don't torture.. They help these injured or stranded marine critters and use them to teach young kids how to take care of and respect them...just a wonderful place to visit...thank you ...

Experiencia negativa: The only good thing about this place is the staff, especially Jordan. He was very sweet to me and my family. We went on the weekend And Jordan was very sweet in the parakeet enclosure, he was so sweet to my autistic daughter who has trouble speaking, he calmly spoke to her and instructed how to handle the birds. Me and my daughter will definitely go over the weekend again soon.

It was impossible to hear the gentleman at the stingray presentation with all the kids in there talking. My recommendation is if you see a lot of buses, skip this stop!

Experiencia fantástica: Jocelyn was With The Stingrays in the big tank the one in the front Saturday December 9th when we went she made my granddaughter feel so comfortable she taught her a lot of stuff she was very knowledgeable of what was in the tank and she made my granddaughter feel so comfortable that she actually touched a stingrays she even showed her the teeth of the stingray. We take our granddaughter every couple of months this is our special place and she loves it will continue to go. And because of Jocelyn I hope she's in the next time we see the Stingrays Landry really loved her.

Experiencia fantástica: I love dolphins!!! My husband and I went here today and besides us I think there were only 2 others besides the staff. We were really able to talk to the folks working with the marine life daily and it was great! Loved seeing it all. Great 5 year anniversary outing!!

Experiencia fantástica: My son did the sea loins kiss it was our first time their it even paid for the enter fees as well. We plan on going back soon. This was also a year ago. We live out of state but love visiting whenever we can.

Experiencia fantástica: Our kids ADORED the sting rays and being able to pet them. Staff educated us on various things such as the frequency that sting rays lose their teeth, how they eat, how long they gestate. It was so fun and educational and we plan on going back for sure!

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our visit to the Ocean Adventures Marine Park. The atmosphere was very laid back. The staff were all super kind and friendly and informative. It wasn't very busy when we went, so we didn't feel like we were crammed into spaces with too many people and we all had opportunities to fully experience everything. The animals all appeared to very well cared for. We would not hesitate to return when we are back in the area.

Experiencia negativa: This place wasn’t worth it the money. There was a stingray pool, which was neat but that was about it. There were no birds in the aviary, cafe was closed, and the only other thing to do was the shows and feed the parakeets. Staff wasn’t friendly either. We should have spent the extra money and gone to the aquarium.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great day with the whole family. It's a small park and you can see everything within a couple of hours. You can bring your own lunch and eat at the park area. The kids loved the dolphins and seal show. It wasn't busy when we went and the staff are great, would recommend!

Checked out the Ray pool between shows and spoke with the staff at length while touching the rays as they circled around.. She was so informative and obviously loves her job. Went to the education area and checked out all the aquariums and marine life there, too. Missed the Dolphin show due to time limits, but went to the observation window and saw them and the seals enjoying swimming by. Headed to the parakeet enclosure (Tweeter post) and had close encounter feeding the birds. It was an enjoyable stop on our way to Gulf Shores.

Experiencia negativa: Do not believe their responses that the negative reviews were left by people who did not see entire park! This place is a joke. When inquired about a discount for foster families and was rudely told no. That’s fine so we paid $101 for two adults and four kids. We saw a 5 minute dolphin sho, 5 minute sea lion showand 5 minute bird show. There was one animal in each show. The aviary is a small chained caged room that has about 100 parakeets. There are only 2 other birds in cages outside of the building. There is a decent stingray exhibit which is the first and last interesting thing to see. Don’t waste your time or money. We came here because of the reviews and I’m convinced they’ve written them all their selves. I think a disclosure that it’s small and most of the money goes toward helping the animals would’ve made me feel better about the money but as a foster family we were expecting a half day of entertainment for $100 on a day of our vacation from Missouri. Shame on the owners.

Experiencia fantástica: Me and my hubbies bought tickets for the dolphin interaction prior to going. The dolphin interaction is the most costly experience, but the money goes towards the institute for marine mammal studies, which heavily focuses on rehabilitation and release of marine mammals such as dolphins (and turtles - even though they aren't mammals). After going thru the rules and purpose of the program, we entered the enclosure to interact with Bo, a 40+ year old dolphin that was super pleasant. The ocean adventures trainer told us how to interact with her properly. It was a blast and totally worth it.

Experiencia positiva: My husband and I brought grandkids; admission is affordable. Concessions are pretty pricey; I'm glad that the money spent there goes back to education and the animals. The talks/shows were informative and didn't take long periods of time so the kids stayed pretty attentive. Their favorite was the stingrays and getting to touch them.

Experiencia fantástica: We enjoyed coming here to learn about the dolphins and watch them perform their stunts! We also got to learn more about gators and snake during an exhibition show. There was plenty of hands on exhibits and a nice little museum. We wanted to watch the sea lions but were on a road trip and had to leave already. If ever passing thru, we would definitely stop by again!!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is great. I highly recommend doing one of the encounters. We did a dolphin meet and greet and it was excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice to support a facility that is helping to rehabilitate marine life.

Experiencia positiva: We went on a school trip. Although the chlorine was super strong smell when you first came in. The staff was very nice. The shows were amazing. Will definitely come back.

Experiencia positiva: I had an amazing time on my visit today. I was especially thrilled when I was asked to volunteer to be part of the dolphin show. What a thrill to shake the flipper of such an amazing creature! The only thing I missed (and the reason I didn't give 5 stars) was a beautiful marine aquarium. I love aquariums, but didn't see one. Everything I did see was great though, and the fee for admission was very reasonable at only $15.50 (with a senior discount for anyone 55 or older). Awesome place!

Experiencia fantástica: Do you like dolphins, turtles and budgies?? Do you want to pet sting rays or see what a starfish actually feels like? Curious about horseshoe crabs? This is the place to go. Lots for kids and adults alike! I could spend an hour just feeding the budgies. The stingray pool is amazing and the tropical fish and other animal pools are really something to experience. Lots of information about conservation and animal biology. Beautiful grounds and a little play area for the kids. We visit on almost every trip to Biloxi because my daughter loves it so much.

Experiencia fantástica: My son and I went on a field trip here and for our first time here this place does not disappoint. So many activities for adults and kids. The price is reasonable but, I can see why help with research and supplies for the marine life. I will be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: This was the highlight of my trip to Biloxi. We went close to closing on a weekday and there was hardly anyone there. It was AWESOME. The staff were super helpful. We saw the dolphin, alligator, and sea lion show and they were all great but the sea lion was hilarious. She and her trainer stole the show. Go here!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome place! Love the Discovery room. The girls doing the reptile and water shows were EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining for the kids. They were the BEST!!!!
