Experiencia fantástica: I really like supporting not for profit animal rescues and shelters. The Dolphin Research Center did not disappoint. We were educated on dolphins, turtles, seals and exotic birds

Experiencia negativa: On our way to key west my 5yo daughter really needed to go to the bathroom and there isn’t really anywhere to stop. We saw the research center and thought to have her go there. But nooo.. unless you don’t buy a $36 ticket you can not use the bathroom!!! Dude if it was for a grown individual cool I get it, but she’s 5yo man. Shame on this place! We’re a 10 people group and we thought about stopping by to swim with dolphins there but that’s definitely NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!

Experiencia positiva: I love to splash with the dolphins!! The place is really good for your pics. The only problem was customer service at the counter. We didn’t feel welcome. The ladies need customer service training.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an experience of a lifetime here. Did the encounter for 225 and it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Our guide was absolutely amazing and the memories we made learning about the Dolphins and having contact with them is indescribable. It was also very clear how much they care for and respect the dolphins and they never forced them to do anything they didn’t want. It was clear that the experience was to also make sure that the dolphins enjoyed their interaction with us as well and did it on their own terms. We stayed to watch some of the other trainers talk about the dolphins and go over different training methods and dolphin facts. That was also just really informative and enjoyable. Everyone from very young to very old really seem to enjoy being there. This is a very nice well run place.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had many dolphin encounters and visits, but this place offers fresh perspectives and demonstrates love, respect, and reverence for their marine family. We had the honor of chatting with Mandy, the founder, and one of their educators, Katherine (from Kentucky ;). It is evident that the staff is dedicated to learning from the creatures in their care. Special place! Support them with a visit or donation!

Experiencia positiva: We had a great „Family Splash“ experience with two dolphins. The staff was very friendly and the photographer made a great picture of us. I think the prices are okay, but the changing rooms could use some rework. Or at least a bench in every cabin! And vending machines with snacks would be great! Kids get very unhappy when they are hungry…

Experiencia fantástica: Nice research center but really small. Not much to do outside one of the activities you have to purchase to participate in. Splash pad but can’t hold many people. We did the Family Splash and it was just ok. Highly recommend water shoes if you’re going to be getting in on the platform - so slimy with algae.

You can tell the dolphins are all so happy and the trainers are amazing with them. We had Ranger, Luna and Windley. Great group of dolphins! We even grabbed all 3 dolphins pins from the gift shop!

Experiencia negativa: Whatever you use to coverup the fact that you are making a profit by exploiting dolphins and the ignorant tourists who want to ride them in some Disney created fantasy doesn’t change the facts. “Non-profit” in the US means “don’t pay tax” televangelist churches are non-profit. And your response to other low ratings based on animalsploitation say “why don’t you come try for yourself and see what a good thing we are doing”. At $500 a pop, that’s an experience YOU can afford to offer.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing time spent with family! I absolutely LOVE dolphins!!! ❤️. We came around 3pm and decided to do the $35 pass. We couldn’t resist and wanted to get closer to the dolphins so we paid the $70 for the meet and greet. Although it was near closing time, a sweet lady named Theresa, was able to accommodate us! Definitely worth coming here for any dolphin interaction. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves!!! LOVE IT!

We only done general admission and whilst it was great to see all the dolphins as well as the sea lions and tortoise, it was a bit small and therefore there was a bit of waiting between talks. The talks themselves were fantastic and very informative. Would recommend and from the look of the experiences would be 5 star if we had participated.

Highlight of our trip, including souvenir dolphin painted art. Very relaxed, not high pressure, you can tell the trainers love the dolphins. (and sea lions!)

The mood is like family. Our Meet a dolphin program was perfect. Our trainer was flexible and made all wishes possible. The facility is beautiful and clean.

Experiencia negativa: The fact that they are born there to be kept in captivity all of their lives (entirely dependent on human care) is appalling to see. Truly shameful to have created this forced environment for these smart animals. Shame on you.

Experiencia positiva: We did general admission which is $35. There are 27 dolphins to see. We only saw 2 seals and one bird. Bring water! The only vending machine, we could not get it to accept our money. There was a food truck that said open but no one came to the window. There is a water fountain. Very educational! The workers were very friendly and eager to answer questions. There was some kind of program every hour. The dolphins were also just playing and jumping around. If you love dolphins, I highly recommend this place. You can pay extra to interact with the dolphins, which we saw a lot of people doing this.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic! I've driven past this place for 30 years and have never taken the time to visit. What a treasure! We got lucky and visited on a very quiet day - it was like a personal experience with the dolphins and trainers for regular admission price (about $30). Every 45-60 minutes there is another show where they are feeding and exercising the dolphins. This place was VERY MUCH worth the time and money. Thank you, trainers!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing seeing the dolphins. They provide educational programs. Cost $35 per adult. I don't know if there is a different cost for kids. The money goes to support research with the dolphins. All the dolphins they have are deemed unreliable.

Experiencia negativa: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! 1) Made reservations for the Dolphin Experience for 10:30am. Unfortunately, my GPS took me 15 minutes in the wrong direction. I called to let them know we would be arriving at 10:33am and asked if my kids would still be allowed to do the experience or should we reschedule? The lady took my info and said she would give my info to reservations and hung up. I called back, spoke with someone else, again explained we would be there at 10:33am and asked if we could still participate or need to reschedule? and she said reservations would call me back. Not knowing whether my kids were getting in or not, not knowing if i can reschedule, not knowing if I'll be out almost $500, I got there as fast as I could and then there was a wait in the lobby. Finally, it's our turn and I explain our situation and I'm told, that's why we have you come 1/2 hr before your time, so you have plenty of time to get here and get ready. NO ONE COULD TELL ME THAT ON THE PHONE?!?!?! Oh, and nobody called me back! 2) Dolphin experience was lacking! For $225 per person, I was expecting a lot more than the lackluster experience. I have done dolphin experience elsewhere and unfortunately was expecting something similar. There were 2 dolphin encounters and 1 family splash all going on together in same small area. It was distracting as all 3 trainers were doing different things with their dolphins and all blowing their whistles in the small enclosed area at the same time. The dorsal pull was beyond disappointing, literally 7 seconds in the smallest circle the dolphin could make. 3) Photos - paid $30 for 2 photos from the experience because I could not get any good photos from my viewing area. Then as we were leaving the room where we order the photos, my daughter started to open the door to leave, she realized I was not walking out yet and came back inside. She literally cracked the door open. The woman working there yelled at my daughter to not leave the door open because mosquitos get in there. She cracked the door open! People actually going in and out open the door much wider and it stays open for longer. There really wasn't much to do after the dolphin experience. We were looking at dolphins in the other enclosures and then noticed a board with the schedule for the day on it. We missed the sea lions because it was before we arrived, we missed the manatees, because it was happening after the dolphin experience because we were hanging out looking at the other dolphins and hadn't seen the schedule yet. I don't remember the exact name of the activities, but something to do with sea lions and manatees. If you do go, find out the schedule for the day, but I would highly recommend looking for a dolphin experience elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: This was an amazing experience! We booked the "Dolphin Encounter" at 3:15 pm on a Thursday. We were delighted by the amount of time and interaction we enjoyed with Pandora, Cayo, and Morada. I loved the trainer's ease with the animals. She was so attuned to each of their personalities and needs. As mentioned in a GA show, the attitude of the human team at the center is that the dolphins are "asked" to perform but never required. That was absolutely the vibe being right there in the water. The email info about the experience presented a more limited view of how things might be maybe less time with the dolphins and a possibility of groups being split. All good to know in advance. We were a two-person party so that did not come up and we were delighted with the time interacting. Also, check-in is by last name and not reservation no. At least it was that day. We did see the sea lions. We did not see any birds only empty cages. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong place? In any case we were there for the Dolphin Encounter and it was as much and more than we'd hoped. It was worth every penny. I would add, we both arrived feeling a bit nervous, out of respect for the dolphins, but as soon we were close to them all nerves transformed into joy!

Experiencia fantástica: A beautiful experience! My husband spent the day here on our honeymoon. We payed for the 70$ dolphin meet. Our day was filled with learning and sweet memories! The only thing is I wish the experience was a little longer for 70$. Either way, we got meet Sandy and Louie, give them back rubs and shake hands. The sea lions were a cool treat too! Definitely stop by here and support this non profit!

Experiencia fantástica: The Dolphin Encounter at DRC was one of the top 3 favorite things my family did on spring break. As an AZA accredited 501(c)3, it was an easy decision for us to sign up for the encounter and take the time out of our trip to stop here on the way to Key West. We got the opportunity to swim with Louis and Reese who were ECSTATIC to show off their skills and interact with us. Especially Reese. Reese was a goofball. Sometimes he'd just swim out and start doing flips because he was so damned excited. Twas his dolphin prerogative. 13/10 for each. Both good boys. Reese and Louis participated in some dancing, some kisses, some "fin pulls", blowing "raspberries," and, it goes without saying, some flips.

Experiencia negativa: If you like seeing Dolphins in captivity and being trained to do “tricks” then go. But with 25 Dolphins in an area of less than 2 soccer pitches, all of whom (apart from 3 ) were born there (and they typically live for 25+ years) then this a depressing place to see these highly intelligent animals. Apparently it’s a “research” place. I’d believe this more if there was a program to research and follow through with how to rehabilitate these captive mammals into the wild. There isn’t. My abiding feeling was that this was just another commercial sea park but bringing in the punters by having “research” in their name. Have we learned nothing from “Free Willy” and other wildlife knowledge?

Experiencia fantástica: Chose the Dolphin Family Splash program because I was nervous about slipping from the platform. Sarah, the trainer, was extremely considerate of this senior by herself, and made sure I got the full experience, dancing and singing with the dolphin, splashing with the dolphin, high-fiving with the dolphin, etc, etc. the gentleman at the front desk and the lady helping you to purchase pictures were also great. Highly recommend this place, and will be back!

Everyone loved it and their paintings, Abby the trainer was so fun and really made our expierence that much better! We will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to anyone coming to the keys!

Experiencia negativa: Say No to the Dolphin Show. Conservation is not entertainment. Raise concerns about the ethics of keeping dolphins in captivity for entertainment or interaction, and advocate for swimming with dolphins in their natural environment

Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful experience! We had so much fun at the Dolphin Family Splash! Katie who led our experience was so personable with our family and cared deeply about these amazing animals! It was well worth the cost and the trip. These dolphins and sea lions are well cared for and we learned a lot!

Experiencia positiva: If you have never seen dolphins before, this is your place. If you have seen dolphins or other aquatic parks, you might be a little disappointed. There is a good film inside about dolphins in captivity and how NOT to release them. The waters were turgid from high winds when we were there and thus not conducive to seeing the dolphins very well. The grounds seemed a bit shabby, and we saw trash bags lying around that appear to have been forgotten. We rated the aquarium and turtle hospital as better values for time and money if you have to choose for things to do in Marathon.

Experiencia negativa: We came here for my daughter’s birthday with a large group including my 1.5 yr old niece. We had reservations and my niece had to use the restroom. The lady at the front desk was beyond rude and informed us to wait. When we mentioned she’s going to have an accident, the front desk lady responded “that’s not my problem”. The whole check in experience she was beyond rude and not welcoming. This ruined the experience. The rest of the staff and dolphin experience was great. The website also notes a food truck so we didn’t pack lunch but it wasn’t open. ( we didn’t think to check back the day of) when we booked the reservation we saw that there was a food truck. That is what it is, it was more the front desk experience. We did follow up with this staff member upon our exit

Experiencia fantástica: I had the absolute best time at the Dolphin Research Center. I went two days in a row, on a Sunday and a Monday. Even with only general admission, you can still experience the dolphins so up close. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about their animals. (though they gave a couple different answers on how many dolphins they have, but I'm guessing that was a simple mistake. I believe they have 27, as I know them all by name.) But The second day I was there I did the VIP experience, and it was everything I was hoping for. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you SO much DRC for all that you do!

Experiencia fantástica: My boat trip was cancelled today so I decided to make a stop here. I spent a couple of hours watching and learning about the animals and capped it off with a dolphin swim. If you're considering it, just do it. It was unforgettable! I fell in love with these animals immediately.

Experiencia fantástica: A true “Memory Maker”! My husband and I decided to visit the DRC since we were visiting Marathon, FL. Plus, dolphins are one of my favorite sea mammals. Highly recommend booking tickets online in advance as this is a very popular destination. There are many ticket options from a general admission through private VIP bookings. We chose the Memory Maker. Before our event we spent time watching the dolphins swimming freely in and out of the lagoons. There also a few resident sea lions there to watch. We sat through a group presentation then went with our trainer to the floating dock where we’d get to interact with a few dolphins, Sandy & Gambet. The best part was watching them paint us a picture! We got to keep the paintings too! Highly recommend going to the DRC! Please read the website FAQs before going; very important information about cameras, wetsuits, & other things.

Experiencia positiva: We did the family dolphin splash. The only thing I wish was done different was the photos. They have you go in water in groups for a group photo, but if you are not 1st, then others will be in the background of your photos. I also wish more photos were taken as the photographer was not there for the full activity. We saw a few of the shows, which was nice, and you can see that work is going on to improve the center. Gift shop also had some nice things. It is expensive to do many of the activities but with the number of Dolphins and other animals they have it is for them to keep providing care to them.

Experiencia fantástica: I have this most wonderful friend who lives close to the Dolphin Research Center. When I go there to visit I get to come in and see all the dolphins. She knows them all by name and sometimes we hit a show where the dolphins are doing tricks or we get to watch people spending one on one time with the dolphins, it’s a very educational place, in addition to dolphins they also have some really amazing birds. Even their gift center has some decent stuff stop by and support the dolphin research center.

Experiencia negativa: If you see day geckos here and your kids are interested in finding them and your sole purpose is to take photos, there’s a miserable Karen who works here who told us it’s illegal to steal them and repeatedly assumed we were there to steal. We had no intention in disrupting or taking these animals. We left with no argument and no longer want to provide them any business. There are better places to support dolphins than here like the UNF in Jacksonville and Sarasota Dolphin Research.

Experiencia positiva: Don't chose the "Family Dolphin Splash" its a minimal experience and not worth the $140. If you want the full experience with actually swimming with the dolphins chose the Dolphin Encounter ($225) . You need to dig deep in the website to find this out and they dont answer the phones. Other than that the general admission is great and you see cool shows. They don't force the dolphins to do these shows seems pretty humane

Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful way to relax and interact with dolphins, California sea lions, and tortoises. Fantastic way to spend a day seated next to the dolphin enclosures and watching the dolphins. Learn about the animals, watch some shows or swim with the dolphins. The staff was nice, informative and helpful.

Experiencia negativa: Today, Jan 23, I visited the center for a Dolphin Tour. While waiting for my partner, I felt unwell and asked to use the restroom. I was directed to a Family Bathroom. While I was inside, a Female Worker, who later claimed to be the Manager, and a Male Worker repeatedly pounded on the door, tried to open it, and demanded I come out. This invasion of Privacy was terrifying and deeply unsettling. When I exited the bathroom, the Female Manager yelled at me to leave. I tried to explain, but she interrupted, claiming she couldn’t understand me because of my Accent. This was not only dismissive but clearly Discriminatory toward me as a Minority and a Woman. Later, my partner told me she had accused me of having “bad intentions” and lying about using the restroom—this was shocking, as we had purchased Dolphin Tour tickets, and I had never met her before. The experience was humiliating and discriminatory. I called 911 and waited in the parking lot with my partner. Before the police arrived, the Manager came out again, shouting and demanding we leave the property. When the police officer arrived, we demanded an apology, but the two employees denied any wrongdoing and accused me of lying. I want to share this because no one should have to endure such treatment. Privacy and Respect are basic rights, and the actions of these employees were unacceptable. Steps must be taken to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved watching the dolphin training session! I have never been able to get so close to the dolphins performing tricks. So fun!! Recommendation: find out when the training or play sessions are happening before you go.

Experiencia fantástica: An interesting spot to send an hour or more. We saw several dolphins being trained and another swimming with people. Go at your own pace to see exotic birds, sea lions and tortoises. Other activities for children. Buy the membership since it is the same price as daily admission. Great perks come along so don’t miss out on that option. We chose to sponsor Tursi, a descendant of Flipper.

There are no words to explain how fulfilling the time that I spent at the Dolphin Research Center..!!

Experiencia negativa: I called ahead to get pricing and tickets for my 5 year old daughter to pet a dolphin. The lady who called me back was super nice and said I only had to pay for my daughter and general admission for the adults. She said one adult would need to come with my daughter for safety by the water, but general admission was fine for the supervising adult. However, upon arrival, the people at the front desk insisted we pay the full amount for the adult standing by with her. I explained the phone call, and they got argumentative and rude with me. Especially the older lady. Horrible customer service at both the front counter and gift shop. I'd have given 1 star, but the trainers with the dolphins were all super nice, and my daughter had a great time with the actual dolphins. There is another place in the keys to have the same experience if we go back down, I'll go there.

Experiencia negativa: Interesting place. More of a tourist trap than a "research center". They house dolphins that are considered unable to live in the wild. Very small pens for the dolphins. Basically a place to see dolphins do tricks. Cool experience, but very expensive. They claim to be a not-for-profit, but their prices suggest otherwise.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I and our 2 pups had the best time watching the dolphins swim around and complete their learning sessions. We could have watched them all day! It was important to us to go to a facility that prioritizes the wellbeing of the animals and the DRC is at the top of the list. You can see how happy the dolphins are. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable. We even got to speak with one of the co-founders, Mandy, and learned some of the history of the DRC and about the personalities of different dolphins. We also appreciated that our dogs were welcomed — they were itching to swim with the dolphins!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I went to the keys for our anniversary. We visited the Dolphin Research Center because of the great reviews. We were so glad that we did. John gave a very, interesting educational presentation. He made it fun so the time seemed to go by quickly. We were near other visitors who swam with the dolphins, touching and communicating with them. We were able to video many of the dolphins do high jumps, chat, and show off. They were friendly and loved the attention from their audience. We highly recommend the Dolphin Research Center as a memorable stop on your next vacation.

I cannot recommend this place enough - it is amazing that they offer the experience as they do and also take care of the beautiful animals that are dolphins. The staff is so knowledgeable and we learned so much about dolphins! Worth every dollar! I would love to go back!

Experiencia fantástica: We paid for just general admission and were able to watch the “sea school” presentation as well as one other training event. You are able to get so close to each of the lagoons to observe the dolphins and it’s really really cool. Well worth the $35 entry price.

Experiencia fantástica: We reserved a “dolphin experience” for our family (including one 6 year old). This includes admission. You are able to enter prior to your time if you’d like. They have a food truck, splash pad, and various presentations in different dolphin areas. Even without a specific presentation you can walk around and just observe the trainers interacting with the dolphins. The dolphin encounter was pricey ($225 a person), however after the fact I think it was worth it. We were initially greeted by Katherine who was new to the research center but was friendly and enthusiastic about her job. Our trainer was Noel. Noel was great and worked with the dolphins as if she was their mom (lol). You enter the water and stand on a submerged platform. The platform was maybe 3 feet deep. (Keep in mind where we were there were some unfriendly fish that liked to nip at your feet…so wear water shoes if this doesn’t sound fun to you). We got to touch the dolphins numerous times, interact with them, and even go for a ride holding onto their fins. We were able to ask questions and observe the dolphins from super close. There was a professional photographer available who sold the photos after (not cheap). You can also bring your own camera as long as it floats, and is affixed to you. This was a really cool experience! I highly recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: We participated in a silent auction for Veterans last year, and bid on the Family Dolphin Splash. We were so excited to win! But we had to get this in before it expired so it did not matter what the weather was like to us. The week we visited (October 15) was terrible weather, rainy and cold, but this was great for our experience. This group event ended up being private with just the two of us because no one else showed up for the weather! The water was still warm, and we got in up to our waists. We met Louie and Delta and it was pure joy. We touched them and shook hands and fins with them and had a splashing contest with them (they won!). Dolphins are incredible, so smart and so funny. They feel like rubbery wet silk and are hilarious comedians. This was one of the coolest things we have ever done. I don't know how we have been coming to the Keys for so many years and never realized this gem was here. The only thing that could top it at this point would be actually swimming with them. Don't feel bad for the dolphins, they are non-releasable rescues. It is evident how much they love doing what they do. Dolphins are like giant wet puppies and spread sunshine everywhere they go, even on a rainy, cold and cloudy day.

Experiencia fantástica: The Dolphin Research Center is a wonderful place to visit! You can watch and even swim with the dolphins, which is such a magical experience. What stood out most is how well they treat the animals—the dolphins are clearly happy and not forced to do anything they don’t want to. It’s heartwarming to see a facility that truly prioritizes the well-being of the animals. Highly recommend visiting!

Experiencia fantástica: Yes yes yes! And do the VIP tour! Wow! This was way more hands and and interactive then I expected. My 10 year old was the VIP but I followed her around for the front row seating! The coat includes entrance fee plus one, and an annual membership plus photos from the swim session. Top notch trainers and incredibly ble organization! Visit and consider the VIP tour!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful time here doing the dolphin swim experience. The trainer Wade was so patient with our boys, giving them the chance to do the various activities in their own time, while also training the young dolphin at the same time. We spent so much more time than anticipated with the dolphins doing fun shakes, kisses, getting pulled by them, touching them and making the dolphins imitate us. It felt like a beautiful place for all the animals there, the macaws, tortoise and seals. The staff was simply wonderful and made us feel so welcome. They seemed keen on getting the message across that this work they do is important and I hope our boys take that home with them as well. Can’t recommend this center enough.

Experiencia fantástica: We did the "trainer for a day". Awesome experience. You spend a lot of time with the dolphins and their trainers (including lunch with a trainer) and can ask everything you always wanted to know about dolphins and the DRC itself. Another highlight was the behind the scenes tour with the parrots. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a wonderful experience doing the dolphin encounter. We got up close and personal with two dolphins in a group of 6. It was an experience I'll remember forever. Photos were quite expensive so I would recommend someone who doesn't do the experience take some for you. There are 27 dolphins there, including a few calves, so it was super easy to find dolphins to watch in the lagoons!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is a must-visit! Both adults and kids will love it. We went with our twin girls and they were absolutely thrilled. The dolphins were incredible. The staff is super friendly and always happy to answer any questions. Thanks to the whole team for their hard work! The park is perfect, with both outdoor and indoor activities. The kids' play area is amazing! 10/10, would highly recommend.

Experiencia positiva: I did the hour long dolphin experience, and it was amazing seeing the dolphins. There are 27 dolphins, if I remember correctly, many born in the research center while others were rescued. You can tell that the dolphins are happy and like the trainers, so as an animal lover, I love to see that. As for the experience, I wish there was more interaction with the dolphins. You spend more time waiting for the other people to take their turn than the actual experience. Other than that, they have a photographer there to catch the moments you get with the dolphins for purchase later as well as a gift shop. It was a clean place and it looked like the people who worked there wanted to be there so that made me happy. I would recommend visiting!

Beautifully maintained. You can tell the staff live the place and love what they do. We met the founder and loved his story which made us want to support the place more. Experiencia positiva: Our kids enjoyed visiting here....lots of opportunity for them to see the dolphins. The only negative is that we spent $100 on admission for just three of us. And we were there for about an hour. There's more to do than just see dolphins, there is a splash pad for kids. It's worth a visit but be careful of the high cost.

Experiencia fantástica: We celebrated our son's birthday here with a Dolphin Splash. The facility itself looks a bit dated, but the animals seem to be well cared for. There are currently renovations underway, and they are making an effort to keep everything in good shape.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough amazing things about this incredible establishment. The entire staff is so kind and accommodating. It is such an honor to be able to enjoy the opportunity of this encounter with the Dolphins as well as all the other sea life, birds, critters of all kinds that are here because they would not be able to survive in nature in their own. There is a snack bar and a little splash pad for the kiddos. Erica was our personal instructor and made the experience unforgettable. Even the gift shop woman was so very sweet! (I had a swimsuit malfunction and she was able to assist me in getting it fixed so i wouldn't miss my swim) My 9 yo son loves to catch lizards and was able to give us a quick close up glance at a baby iguana and gecko before releasing them back to their habitat. Highly recommend making a reservation to have your chance to experience your personal Dolphin encounter!

Experiencia fantástica: This was such a fun activity to do!!! It’s actually better than a dolphin cruise because you are so much closer to the dolphins and they do shows and tricks for the audiences. My daughter loved this!!! She wanted to swim with the dolphins but I wasn’t comfortable with that so I was extremely happy to see they had a choice for an interaction with the dolphins where she stayed out of the water and the family got to view her interaction and take photos. We booked online and when we first arrived the lady at the desk was very rude but as we were leaving she seemed friendlier. We signed our waiver and she told us where to go and what time to be there for the interaction. We left to view the dolphins in the back pools before our time to be up front. They had a little dolphin show in the back we walked to. There is a cover for shade that was so much appreciated and benches to sit on to observe the dolphins. The dolphins are really used to people so when they see you coming they swim to the edge right there where you can see them. They swim kind of on their side to see you with the eye that’s facing up. We went to the last show in the front at our time as instructed and my daughter got to pet a dolphin on the back and shake its hands. The dolphins know tricks, they were very smart and definitely trying to please so they get the fish treat. One lady that did the fun facts talk was so nice and we found out she was from Texas like us. We learned some new things about dolphins while here so it was informative and entertaining. The gift shop didn’t have too much going on we were interested in but we did buy my daughter a shell night light and a shirt.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family did the Family Splash program with Ashley who is simply amazing!!!!! She hosted us throughout the day in an educational program as well as the family splash program and made such an impact on our family. My daughter would love to be a dolphin trainer and Ashley gave her helpful mentoring tips! Every employee greeting us with such kindness as acted as though we were the only ones there. This will be a lasting memory. Thank you Ashley and DRC!! Great work is being done with this organization.

The trainers and research team, with their unwavering expertise and boundless enthusiasm, guided me through every facet of dolphin care and research, all patiently answering my questions and fostering my deeper sense of understanding. Experiencia fantástica: A very well managed and beautiful place with such a nice staff. We were able to catch dolphin show and it was amazing and amount of knowledge in staff is very impressive. And they have many dolphins and they dont even force to keep them there. Dolphins can come and go which was amazing. Place has a food truck with lot of options and ample parking. We enjoyed the time here.
