Experiencia negativa: Bought multiple fish and corals from this company as well as a full tank set up. I then hired them to clean and maintain the tank. Everything died and can’t keep anything except algae. Requested owner to call and not available.

Experiencia negativa: I used aquatic marine for tank cleaning for over six months. I couldn’t be unhappier with the service. I requested a new rep cleaning. This was denied. I requested the owner to give me a call. I was told he wasn’t available.

Experiencia positiva: I had some issues with my first experience here. I think the new fish I bought gave the other fish in my tank an infection and all of them died but two. The ones that survived lived long enough to show signs of ick so i knew to treat them and they pulled through. They didn’t honor the return based on the water test. I have doubts that they’re telling the truth with regards to the water tests but I understand they want to make money. It’s disappointing after spending a lot of money though. Tacky imo to have someone tote in a cheap dead fish just to deny the return. Might as well just change the policy to no returns. I bought all kinds of things to try to figure out what I was doing wrong after the water test they did. Everything i tested was in the right range. This was before I noticed the signs of ick and figured out they needed medicine not a change in ph, ammonia or water temp. Another thing I thought was odd was that when I returned two dead fish the day after I bought them, the entire tank that was full the day before was empty with the sticker removed. But it’s the nicest store that’s nearby and i’ve bought other fish here and they’ve been fine. The staff is nice and helpful mostly. Since I had those die, I treat any new fish with preventative antibiotics and use aquarium salt. I like the store but do think the return policy is tacky.

Experiencia fantástica: First time stopping in and had a great experience. Don’t go to Petsmart or Petco. If you have fish go see Isaac. We consulted the usual pets stores, lost a snail, and received questionable advice. Isaac tested our water, went over the results, provided additional reading material, answered our questions, and we left with exactly what we needed, nothing more. We signed up for the rewards program because we are definitely coming back.

Experiencia positiva: **update** We have done maybe a dozen tanks. We did a planted tank with quality plants and water. Tested and a great habitat. I bought 5 Cory's, 5 silver tips, and 5 rummy nose. In 1 week with good testing water, one by one the rummy nose have died. No, I didn't call or go back because when a beta I bought died after 1 day, I was told my ammonia was too high. I'm not a newbie to fish keeping. I'm going to count this recent purchase as my learning point that all my fish purchases here, so far, have not been 100% healthy from the get. The Cory's are great and the silver tip are great. Maybe the diamond rumbles are problematic. I have bought fish now from Aquarium up off 75 and will review them later. Great selection, great prices! They have fresh water, salt water , beta and all the supplies you need! **Update** The plant selection is amazing. The saltwater options are plentiful as well as fresh water. You HAVE to see the great selection of Axolotls!

It was like having a personal shopper and an encyclopedia of knowledge at our disposal. You won't get better service at any other places in town. Best part is supporting a small business with a big business size selection to choose from. 10/10 We will only come back here for all of our needs.

We could spend all day just admiring the showcase tanks that they have not to mention the wide array of different species from all corners of the Earths waters. I've been there several times now and Matt B has been stellar answering my questions and pointing me in the direction I want to go with my tropical tank. The fish are thriving well and my tank is crystal clear thanks to Matt's knowledge and help. I'll also add that we have fun in the store and enjoy cutting up with Matt B. Last trip we spent an hour in the store looking, buying and talking with Matt. Thanks for the great service Matt we will see you soon for another 5 or 10 fish when these get settled in.

Issac and Matt helped me a lot when I bought the tank, fishes, sand, corals and equipment, they not only sell fish, but they give you an education about the species and compatibility of the corals, animals that you are gonna purchase. They recommend you the fish you should get based on the size of your tank and compatibility with other species. They also have rare fish that you will not see in any other fish store around east tennessee. Spectacular colors from the corals in his aquarium! Experiencia negativa: My husband and I walked into this place Monday excited to start a new fish tank. The staff was very helpful and willing to answer any and all questions we had as we are very new to this. We decided to go with a saltwater tank since we liked the fish options better. Today we realized we needed to return something one of the guys suggested for us. It was a glass top for the tank. The guy told us it would fit the tank we had. It ended up being too big so we went to return it and get a live rock. The owner said he couldn’t return it for us because they have a no return policy. But it wasn’t our fault we were told wrong. He then offered us store credit which ended up being okay since we planned on getting a rock anyways. Again, we know nothing about this stuff but the owner tried to get my husband to buy a bucket for $15 to put the rock in. He politely declined as we had spent nearly $500 in there yesterday. The owner then gets angry and starts getting rude to his employee saying he shouldn’t be putting the rock in a bag because it could cause problems and pretty much belittling us for not knowing everything there is to know about all of this. He was very rude and was saying he didn’t want to be liable if something happened, not “I don’t want your fish to be harmed” but “I don’t want to be responsible for it” which put a bad taste in my mouth. His attitude in general when we were there was just awful. I’m very regretful that I spent so much money in there now due to that. Other than that the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. But now the $80 light they insisted on is already starting to glitch and not work. I’m afraid to even go and get it exchanged because I know I will be given attitude about it. But it was expensive and it’s not even working properly and I didn’t feel like I needed it anyways.

Experiencia negativa: The store manager was absolutely rude and didn’t make me and my wife feel welcomed. Belittled us because we’re not as educated on the marine life. We spend over 600 dollars to start a new hobby and were treated unfairly. The staff are great. But for the older store manager he needs to figure out what’s going on in his life; fix it and then come back to work. Let’s just say we won’t be back because of how he made us feel.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a major problem in my freshwater tank with the pH too high (7.9-8.0). I had tried many things, but couldn’t get it under control until Matt B. advised me. He was amazing. I did everything he told me and now the pH is 7.1. Thanks, Matt, for listening to everything I said and giving me such good advice. I was ready to get rid of my aquarium, but now am so enthusiastic again.

All they care about is their money and don't care about they customers. Don't say we talked on the phone cause we never did and the fish that I got from your store die but the other 7 fish that I got from another fish store are alive but my water killed your fish.
