Experiencia fantástica: I've gone here twice now while in Spokane. It's great environment and you get to enjoy the sea life! Everyone's favorite part of course was the little fishes at the end that nibble on your fingers! Great for all ages. Go check it out.

Experiencia fantástica: This was such a lovely experience!! I went with my daughters and nieces ranging ages from 4-18 and we all had so much fun. Andrew showed us cockroaches and a stick bug and taught us so much about all the reptiles that we looked out. Spencer helped us observe the birds, telling us lots of fun facts. It was a good space with so much to explore. One of the best activities on a hot day in the summer!! Would REALLY recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Birthday blast! It was my daughter's 2nd birthday. The crew was amazing from the mermaid and pirate to all the helpers. John was our party host, he was fun, very accommodating, and so knowledgeable on all the animals. The activities and animal interaction was perfect for her age group. I couldn't have asked for a better time!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Blue Zoo is awesome. This was our second time here (first visit was in 2021) and just like before we had a blast! My kids loved the Stingray tank and seeing all the other animals from reptiles to birds and everything else they had was great. It was Loki's birthday, so he had a little party which was awesome. I wish I remembered the staff's name, but she was super nice and gave my youngest some stingray teeth that she had collected from inside the tank.

Experiencia fantástica: One of our favorite places to go when we visit Spokane. We love getting to pet and feed the stingrays. All the animals are wonderful. Chloe was very knowledgeable and helped teach us about the stingrays.

Experiencia negativa: It’s a small aquarium. Fun for the kids. Bring your own hand sanitizer. The soap dispensers were out of soap. There was no paper towels. The hot water did not work. The kids water table area was a mess and wasn’t working properly. Most of the aquarium tanks were dirty and the whole place smelled like dead fish and B.O. The staff working there seemed inattentive to the customers. Years ago when this place was new it was nice but now it could use a deep cleaning and some maintenance.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Very considerate of the animals and the patrons especially taking extra time with little one's. Very clean environment especially considering the shear amount of animals they care for. Our family of 6 can't wait to come back and see Loki the tortoise, Pablo the giant stingray and George the bamboo shark.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing time today (6/20) at the Blue Zoo. The employees are always kind and knowledgeable, and today was no exception. Austin and Andrew were so wonderful to talk to, they answered all my questions that I had about the various animals that were in the different areas and exhibits. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to, they are definitely an asset to the zoo and made going there that much better. We will definitely be back again!

Experiencia fantástica: Visited on 6/12 & our kids loved it! We’re from Hawaii and was looking for something fun to do for the kids and came across this while walking around the mall. My kids could not stop talking about the stingrays (petting & feeding them) Austin escorted us into the bird cage and was very informative & had great customer service. Next time we visit Spokan we’ll definitely be back! (Definitely check Groupon for admission deals!)

Experiencia fantástica: I rated this place a 5 star, although it's size is small the memories you make are big. The time away from devices and spend with your kids learning the different species and their habitat. It's like you escape from the mundane world even if just for a brief moment. Touching, smelling, listening to all these amazing creatures, it's great to see a place not evolve around electronics. Hey I'm there and get quality time with the kiddos. My daughter loved touching the baby shark. Last but not least I want to send a kudos shot out to The guy in front, who saw I was struggling counting change to pay for my daughter and her friends and he offered us all 4 of us, complimentary passes ! Yay ! Thank you so much! He didn't want one of the kids to miss out. Great human! Saving the day!

Experiencia positiva: We always enjoy visiting Blue Zoo, but it’s quite expensive and something we only do now when we have family or friends visiting from out of town. The last time we were there was over 2 years ago and we were disappointed with the changes made to the bird section. I used 3 of our food coins for bird seed, which is $9 and we only got to sit in there with the birds for 4 minutes. At the end of those 4 minutes the guy working dumped the rest of the bird seed back into the bird seed container. It felt like a rip off. There wasn’t even anyone else waiting to go in. Annie who was helping with the sting rays was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and had great customer service. 5 stars for her!

Experiencia fantástica: So fun for kids in Spokane. Lots of hands on experiences. Ability to feed the rays, birds and play in the water table. Make sure to stop by and support local a business! First time seeing a scuba diver in the tank, Annie!

Experiencia negativa: When we first came here in 2023 it was amazing we could feed Sting rays we could feed birds with our hands they had shows where they brought out the snakes there was mermaid shows. We loved it so much we kept coming back and each year they lose something we loved now in 2025 the only thing worth going for is the sting rays. You can't touch the birds now, no mermaid show no snakes being brought out you can feed the birds but you have to sit and the dish is set out where you can't hold the feed anymore it's just depressing all the magic of this place is gone now. The only thing worth it is the sting rays

Experiencia fantástica: This aquarium was great. We fed the stingrays, tortoises, and some other fish. There was a military discount, and every staff member we talked to was very friendly and knowledgeable. My 10 year old had fun, and there was also some great interactive exhibits for little ones, and a pirate ship playground. The wristband is good all day, so it was nice to see the aquarium, walk around the mall a bit, and come back again later.

Experiencia fantástica: Blue Zoo is such a fun experience for all ages. Austin was so knowledgeable and fun to be around in the parakeet cage. We enjoyed it so much we did it twice! All of the areas have something unique to offer for hours of entertainment. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I went to the zoo today with my aunt and cousin that has an annual pass and comes all the time- once a week at least sometimes more. I’ve only heard lovely things- I even took my Girl Scout troop and parents in for a field trip once. When I went in I experienced awful customer service. When I was checking in Annie at the front desk was arguing over everything that was happening and roll her eyes at me. she had stated that I needed to fill out a waiver- I had told her I have already filled out out. She insisted that I needed to refill out the waiver and before she even checking to see if I already had one. When I told her no she then looked it up and found the waiver. She put my bracelet on and then said I needed to wait to go in until the rest of my family came. I ended up walking away until the rest of my family came inside due to being frustrated. then I came back once my family was there she was no longer at the front counter. We went inside and Annie stood right behind me and watched me for a while. Due to feeling weird that she was just watching me. I faced her- she then tried to apologize to me stating she was “confused”. Which I’m not sure how. At the end of the visit I overheard the same employee telling another employee that she was going to report my aunt to the manager for using the zoo employees as “babysitters” (which she doesn’t do). She even asked the other employee if they would “take her side”. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional to complain about customers where other customers can hear you. I bring my kids, family, and Girl Scouts to this facility. But I cannot do that when the employees cannot follow the same rules I have in place for the children in my care- RESPECT and SAFETY! I’m hoping this gets addressed because it was very upsetting to be put in this situation.

Experiencia fantástica: We hosted a birthday party today and it exceeded my expectations. The kids had fun exploring and were actively engaged for the full two hours. Not a moment of boredom. Our party attendant, Austin, was delightful. He was generous, kind, and great with the kids. We were also particularly impressed with Andrew who spent time introducing us to the kimodo dragon. He shared tons of cool facts, let everyone pet the dragon, and answered lots of questions in an age-appropriate way. Shout out to Spencer, Gage, Chloe, and Alexis, who also spent time engaging with the kids and teaching them how to feed the animals. I recommend Blue Zoo as a birthday party venue. Good value.

They all were very active and friendly. The establishment was well taken care of. Each staff member was more than informative, helpful and friendly. Experiencia positiva: Great place to spend half a day and learn a bit about sea life! They have fish snacks you can purchase for a nominal fee which are provided to hand-feed the stingrays. It was a transformative experience for me at age 54 and I have a new favorite animal (sea creature!!)

Absolutely wonderful!!!The Pirate show included a scavenger hunt for crafting supplies that led to the room with the Mermaid. My Granddaughter shrieked when she saw the Mermaid. She had a blast today and talked all the way home about the Pirate, and the Mermaid, and how they must have known each other from adventures in the sea. Next time we go she wants to get the Mermaid's autograph and frame it. Thank you guys for the smiles and great time!!!

Experiencia negativa: It was our first time here. The young redheaded woman supervising the stingrays was glaring and yelling at us for touching the rays on the wing rather than the back. We walked in after a large group and missed instructions I guess? Every minute (or less) she continued to yell at other people WAY louder than necessary to get their attention. It was so off putting.

The staff seemed protective of their animals, yet understanding of the curiosities of adults and children alike. It's wonderful to explore this wildlife while preserving its integrity.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was very cool! My child chose this place for her 11th birthday party. I never even knew it existed until she told me about it. The staff were fantastic especially Zoe, she really made it special for everyone. There we many different little creatures and all they were all happy to share their knowledge and passion for them all. I'd highly recommend The Blue Zoo. They are very customer focused and actually care if you enjoy and value your visit.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a field trip to blue zoo today and it was AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend for any age. We got to feed the sting rays and it was VERY exciting! All the kids had a great time and talked about it for the rest of the day. I will definitely be bringing my own kids back asap! Ask for Annie if you need a tour leader- she was incredible and had all the answers to the animal questions we asked. She was a great leader and her passion for the zoo was contagious. Very clean, very safe and very fun!!!! They also have an event room for schools and I believe parties- it was perfect!

My wife, son and I came on a random Monday evening and both Annie and Mackenzie went out of their way to answer our questions and tell us all about the animals under their care. Experiencia positiva: It's small and just ok. I mean, it's not SeaWorld, it's in a mall! Most of the viewing glass was dirty, signs were missing from the cages, and one of the water play areas didn't work. The best part of the whole thing was feeding the manta rays. You can get through the whole thing in about 30 minutes....

Experiencia fantástica: I loved this place. My favorite part is the budgie room; and the guy working there, Sean (Shawn? However you spell his name), was really nice. He is the main reason I am giving 5 stars. I would, however, like to see less hair algae in some of the aquariums, and the electric knife fish can barely swim in its tank. It looks like it needs more space. Those are two things I’d say can be improved.

Experiencia fantástica: Its a super fun place. I especially love that they've taken extra precautions with the birds, you are no longer allowed to stand. The downside is that you are now given a limited amount of time with the birds. But I'm alright with that as my belief is "some time is better than no time at all."

Experiencia fantástica: We really enjoyed our experience here! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the animals when asked questions. The highlights for us are touching/ feeding sting rays, the huge python, the seahorses, the huge tortoise, mermaid story time, and the tiny fish that come to suck on your hands in the tank at the end of the aquariums. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have signs with the names of the different species in the tanks. There isn't much information on anything, so answering the kids' questions is difficult. Also, there should be another hand washing station by the open tank of tiny fish that suck on your hands. There are paper towels only, so you have to walk all the way back to the beginning to wash your hands again.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing zoo! Every exhibit was amazing and so interactive. The staff was so engaging and kind. The pirate gentleman, I don't remember his name, walked up to our special needs daughter in gave her treasure coins. It absolutely made her day . The aquariums were huge and she was able to see the fish swimming so easily, as she has impaired vision. Our older daughter was so incredibly interested in all of the aquatic petting exhibits. All of the marine life were beautiful and rare in my opinion. Totally worth every penny! The highlight of my visit, however, was the aviary with the birds! Brea was in charge of this exhibit and she knew her stuff. Thank you, Brea, for making our daughter's time with the budgies so memorable ❤️. It was sensory explosion for our special needs daughter and she loved every minute of it! Our other daughter was even able to name one of the budgies... So amazingly cute!

My fourteen year old daughter was engaged the whole time, which is hard to do! She loved learning about the animals and getting to touch and feed them. Very cool experience for our trip to Spokane!

Experiencia positiva: The non-touch tanks were all very dirty inside and the place in general lacked cleanliness. There were 4-5 employees walking the floor and the sinks and handles were really dirty. There was a lot of dust and grime on walls, floors, and edges. Gum stuck on walls, the wax to a cheese snack on one of the walls. The water table was musty with a lot of buildup and some brown slime in some spots. Plus some of the water features didn’t work. Whole place needs some love! We were the first ones in which made the cleanliness a little more sad. My kids liked it though lol.

The snake an the few reptiles were nice. I hope to see more soon. We got coins to help feed the animals but no 1 was around to help. Went to the photo booth an looked at my bank account an was charged twice for the same photo crazy wont be getting those again. Over all not to bad. Feel like the reef in the tanks need the coral plants for the fish to be more happy I hope to see that happen.

Experiencia fantástica: We had such a great time! When we went into the bird exhibit Austin was great!! He was so nice & even gave us two free feeding tokens!! Highly recommend!! Especially if you have a toddler
