🗣️ El Mundo Salvaje de Branson: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the best places to go to see some cute animals. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. Will for sure go back. The staff was so kind and helpful.
Experiencia fantástica: It's was great fun from mini golf, to animals, dinosaurs and the aquarium! We had a wonderful time! EWH
Experiencia positiva: Friendly staff with good knowledge. Definitely worth the extra $5 per person to do the Dingo Experience. The outside area is not wheelchair friendly. Be prepared for stairs. I'd suggest if you want to pay extra for an Experience to call ahead and make sure you don't visit while that animal is on a break. Overall Experience was decent.
Experiencia positiva: At first sight, it is disappointing. It's small and smells like urine. HOWEVER, there are so many experiences once you walk in those doors. You have a choice to feed sharks, play with lemurs, feed alligators, and play with small Dingos (picture of that experience). For me, the added hands-on opportunities rated them far higher. I recommend it.
Experiencia negativa: If I could give less, I would. This place used to be great when I was a kid. The newer outdoor area, which wasn't there before, has most of the animals pacing in circles, the wolves look malnourished, and why are there arctic foxes outside with a tiny fridge they can go in? Half the animals inside weren't even in their tanks anymore, parrots were ripping feathers out of each other, and I've never seen conditions so bad that the cockroaches are eating each other or being eaten by the crickets theyre weirdly either fed or kept with. The sharks even just wait at the edge of the pool because they're so hungry. I pet the dingos as a teen and they were bigger and plumper, the ones there look so skinny and physically smaller (not like theyre younger lemme say). Please, never give your money to this place and I hope they shut down and all the animals get taken to an actual rescue and not this tourist trap trashcan. Edit: I forgot to mention there were tanks for jellyfish and seahorse, but there was 0 water flow so they all just laid at the bottom of the tanks unable to move because they kinda need moving water to get around!
Experiencia positiva: I understand it’s animals but the odor was pretty bad. It seemed like it all needed a good cleaning. It’s dark and narrow and a bit hard to navigate where to go next and if you’re scared of snakes I do not recommend.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve visited zoos and aquariums my whole life, and this was the first one I left feeling depressed. As soon as you walk through the door you can smell that the place isn’t well maintained. The big tanks looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Several small tanks were also filthy. By far the most depressing thing was the outdoor animals. All of the enclosures were way too small with little shade. There were two gray wolves (an animal that typically lives in packs of four to nine) in a cage that couldn’t have been bigger than 90x30ft and it was on a very steep hill except for 2 five foot areas where both wolves anxiously paced the whole time we watched them. The kangaroos were annoyed by humans being so close and in a cage maybe 20x30ft. There was a bat being blasted with LED lights. Not as bad as having a tiny enclosure but I mean come on they live in dark areas. There was a touch tank for a sting ray and shark but they didn’t have an area to wash your hands before and after. No regard for sanitation. We fed the lemurs which was actually fun but admittedly kind of felt like a circus attraction; it’s also the only area of the building that they upkept at all, probably because it brings them a lot of revenue. One thing I noticed was that none of the tanks, cases, or enclosures had any information about the animals. Not their region, description, or anything— just the name of the animal. It seemed like this place wasn’t concerned with conservation or education as much as making money. There was one employee who let us touch a snake and he seemed to actually really care about animals. I definitely think this place’s owner is to blame, not the employees, which is sad. Ultimately, almost none of the animals seemed happy, most seemed stressed, and some seemed sickly. In a perfect world this place would be shut down and the animals would be moved to better facilities.
Experiencia fantástica: We had so much fun seeing all the different animals. They had fish, reptiles, bugs, and a couple birds. Most of it is indoors but there is also a couple animals to see outside. It was hot outside while we were there so the animals outside werent very active but we still enjoyed seeing them. We were there for probably an hour to an hour and a half. There were different oppertunities to pay a little extra to feed a couple different animals or to go inside an inclosure. There is also a 9 hole mini golf you can play before you leave. I would definitly go again if we are ever back down
Experiencia positiva: Just an "ok" place. Animals looked sad in their enclosures. My husband and daughter petted and played with Dingoes. Their putt-putt course is pathetic, however, not enough room in between holes, and smelled awful. Very tight quarters in that area. Save your money and choose from the plenty of other mini golf places in Branson.
Experiencia negativa: Not big on posting reviews but I just have to on this place and I don’t know how all of you are posting 5 stars. As soon as the doors opened the smell was so terrible. You expect some smell in an animal facility but this was (I don’t want to breathe it in kind of smell). This place is disgusting. I saw roaches inside! The tanks and other animal in-casements have to be out of code. Extremely dirty & moldy. These poor animals…. The alligator is the length of the room and has no where to even move. All the animals seemed starving. We took our 7 & 10 year old here and we spent most of our time awing for these poor animals and wanting to rescue them from this place. And I’m not even a big animal crazy person. From one mom to another, save your money and your sense of smell. We left actually feeling depressed for these creatures and that in itself was strange to feel. If they were audited they’d be shut down. Y'all it was that bad.
Experiencia fantástica: Omg!!! We got to feed sharks, stingrays, and otters! They offer petting of lemurs and dingos all for additional fees of course but it's not pricy all things considered. A lion snuck up on us (in it's cage) and that was scary and amazing at the same time. Bunch of photos ops throughout.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice tour of a variety of animals
Experiencia fantástica: Great indoor activity to get out of the hot sun in summer, but also great selection of indoor and outdoor animals, clean and the animals seem happy! Extra charges to pay for feeding animals but it goes towards the care of the animals :)
Experiencia fantástica: Really great animal exhibits. They have a large variety of different animals and fun feeding experience with otters. The whole family loved it.
Experiencia fantástica: Well worth it! Take your time and look closely you will see a lot. Really enjoyed this visit. Staff was friendly and knowledgable and eager to talk about the animals. We took our 3 year old and enjoyed it as much if not more than her! We will be back with more kiddos soon.
Experiencia fantástica: I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this place. It worried me because I can't stand to see animals suffer. I'm so glad that we decided to give it a chance. It's a small place packed full! We went at opening time and didn't have a wait to get in. We met a keeper for the sharks and sea turtle. We fed the sharks and learned about the sea turtle and her story. We were able to get up close and personal with the lion. We played with the Dingos who were incredibly sweet. We fed the otters. We ended up speaking with many of the keepers and you can tell how much they love the animals. I can see maybe why some reviews are not great if you do not have the time to speak with the workers and get to know the stories of the animals that they have there. It's a place that I would describe as doing the best they can with what they have. But most importantly, I do believe the animals are cared for well. Overall, we enjoyed it and would love to visit again!
Experiencia negativa: The enclosures are so small but the real atrocity is the smell!! Smells so strong of cat/ animal pee it almost makes you loose your lunch. Not worth $50 for two people entire thing takes less than 30 minutes.
Experiencia fantástica: This may not look like a must stop attraction from the outside but it definitely was one of our best stops on vacation. An indoor/outdoor zoo with add on interactions with otters and dingos plus black light mini golf included with your ticket. My teenage kids really enjoyed it, not too busy and they really have a lot of animals to view
Experiencia negativa: The staff was nice and knowledgeable about the animals, however did not communicate times animals were available for interaction. The habitats were not clean, very small, and most of the animals were singular without a companion. Much of the place smelled . The tiger looks underfed. Animals were pacing and appeared stressed.
Experiencia positiva: I was really fun to visit. I LOVED being with the lemurs!! That was my all time favorite part!! The staff were all fantastic and very welcoming and friendly. I could tell they enjoyed working. My concern is that the aquatic tanks all looked neglected. There was gunk floating in some, build-up in others, and the waters were all cloudy. I dont know if this is because of a shortage of hands or the price of water, but all of the tanks definitely need some attention. I wanted to pet the stingrays or feed the sharks, but there were no attendants around these areas and there were no signs like the dingos where the animals had breaks from people. One easy thing to do would be to put more signs/labels on the tanks/enclosures. Some enclosures I didn't know what i was looking at or looking for. On others, i found a second sign on the other side. It was just a little confusing. I did like the fact that there were some tanks in the mini golf course that you could enjoy if waiting on others. The parrots and other birds as you walk in the building were a very fun touch! Although there are definitely some improvements to be made, I liked this place an lot and definitely recommend going! I do plan on coming back!
Experiencia positiva: There were some great exhibits but I would like to see it renovated. Too dark inside and outdoor staircase to see animals too steep.
Experiencia fantástica: It's a petting zoo + aquarium + put put in the same location. Perfect for family with kids. I think the building needs some updates, but other than that, the staff take care of the animals & area well.
Experiencia fantástica: Came to Branson with the family, kids ages from 6 to 14 and all enjoyed the animals and the animal experiences. Way bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Mini golf is a little compact. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed getting to interact with animals and all the staff are knowledgeable and answered any questions.
Experiencia positiva: We did enjoy the attraction. We got much closer to the animals than any previous zoo experiences with the same animals. However, staff were only placed at two of the interactive experiences (feeding the sharks and feeding the otters), so we missed out on all the others. There were signs up giving times that the Dingoes and Lemurs were on break for an hour, which of course happened to be while we were there. So we also missed out on those, even though the MAIN reason I was so excited for Wild World was for the Dingoes and Lemurs interactive experiences. My 8 year old was also disappointed that he did not get to play with Lemurs. I understand that these types of attractions with live animals require breaks. That isn't the issue. But you need to advertise those breaks on your website so that visitors know when to come to get the most out of their experience and the most bang for their buck! We traveled from 6 hours away for our Branson trip and didn't get our money's worth at Wild World because of the lack of information. These interactive experiences also cost extra, which wasn't listed in the site. The things we were able to do/see were great and my 8-year old loved it! But we definitely would have come at a better time of day if we would have known interactive experiences would be closed at certain times of the day.
Experiencia fantástica: Hidden gem. Totally worth the trip. Not busy. Not stinky. Not pushy. Easy to get through and the animals are so close. Feed the sharks! Feed the otters!
Experiencia negativa: We came here with family last week and were so disappointed in what we found. Among dirty tanks, apathetic staff, and injured animals we also found enclosures that were way too small and seemed to lack access to the outside. Some of the larger animals that were outside seemed to be showing stress induced behaviors such as frantic pacing and over preening. The touch tank was not being monitored by a staff member to make sure hands were clean and touching was done right. The place is a neat idea, but definitely needs to make some dramatic changes.
Experiencia fantástica: Had a great time. Friendly staff and lots of animals to look at. My kids were even able to pet a dingo.
Experiencia negativa: All of the enclosures were filthy and several of the animals looked in need of care. When asking one of the staff members about a concern for one of the animals, he just mumbled about how stupid it was. The touch tanks were unmanned, leaving those creatures vulnerable. Many of the animals seemed anxious and did not have adequate room to move about. Please don’t support this business.
Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: while it's not posted on the website, they do not let anybody enter after 5 PM. We drove as fast as we could to make it here to have 45 minutes before they closed… And they denied us entry. Do not come after 5 PM. I had to take my original five star review down to two because of this. I even offered to pay $100 more for entry for our family. The lady said that they start mopping at five so they can close at six. You would think that they would close at six and then start mopping. I've never seen this before at a business. There were three other families behind us that got denied as well. I feel like if the owner was here, they would've made a different decision. For reference… We walked in at 5:19 PM. ________________________ This place was absolutely incredible. We were just driving by looking for an arcade or something fun to take the little one too, and the little one saw the building and started yelling "Let's go there!" I'm so glad that we did. Tickets are around $25 for adults and much cheaper for kids. It's actually much bigger than it looks on the outside because it has a huge yard in the back where the big cats and wolves live. I was extremely impressed with the amount of animals and reptiles they had at this facility. The workers seem to love their jobs, and you're actively watching them feed the animals so you know that they are well taken care of. We will be back.
Experiencia fantástica: Just came in here to say the otter man needs a raise. Didn’t catch his name but he was very educated and helpful! He answered every the questions I had & fed the otters so we could see them swim around and play. Welcoming environment, super sweet and helpful staff. Lots of cool critters! 10/10 would be back.
Experiencia fantástica: It was such an awesome time. I've been to several nice zoos and aquariums that didn't offer the variety nor the visibility of animals that Wild World does. You can see at almost EVERY angle of the enclosures. The staff were friendly as well. They took the time to discuss personal experiences they have had with the animals, along with feeding habits, the personalities of some of the big cats, etc. They have a glow in the dark putt-putt that was fun. You can do multiple feedings of different animals. 10 out of 10
Experiencia positiva: We were able to get some discounted tickets to come here. Glad for the discount as this place is overpriced for sure. It is on the smaller side for things like this, however we still enjoyed it. Thankfully it was not busy so we did not feel rushed looking and reading the signs. The place does need some TLC. Some of the signs are hard to read due to age. Some of the tanks need to be cleaned for sure. The miniature gulf was alright, nothing spectacular. Do not pay extra for it. We encountered several staff members who were cordial and gave us helpful information about the animals.
Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed being able to walk around, see all of the animals, and feed the Lemurs. The workers were very nice and so knowledgeable, especially one of the guys who explained all about the sweet porcupine and the guy with the Lemurs. I can’t wait to take my grandchildren.
Experiencia positiva: Nice walk threw, but expected a little more for my money. The lemers were amazing but for the price they should provide a larger cup of treats for them.
Experiencia fantástica: Love this place. They've added by building on to the outside. Loved seeing the wolves and lions out there. There's so much to see. If you love animals you'll definitely enjoy. We played some mini golf and even though it's pricey we loved being in with the Lemurs.
Experiencia fantástica: The zoo offers an impressive variety of animals, and due to its size, you get an up-close and personal view of many species. We had the incredible opportunity to feed sharks, otters, and crocodiles, all for just $10 each. A special mention goes to Cory, one of the staff members, who was outstanding. He was not only extremely friendly and helpful but also demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service expertise. His enthusiasm and care made the experience even more memorable.
Experiencia negativa: Not a great experience here at all. The place is filthy! There were german roaches on the bird cages up front and on another lizard exhibit. We even wondered if they feed them to the lizards just to save on feed expenses. Some of the animal enclosures were much too small for the animals, and it is obvious that they can't get in or out of their water tank! The place stinks and looks as though some of the enclosures haven't been properly cleaned in a long time. I did see a couple of employees tending to and interacting with a few of the animals, but it's pretty obvious that they are understaffed, and that the place is just a money gimmick with miserable hostages. Very disappointing.
Experiencia negativa: This whole zoo experience was horrible. The smell inside was nauseating and the outside animal enclosures are so so small. Some of the animals looked like they weren’t even getting fed they were so skinny and it literally smelt like dead animals near one of the outdoor animal enclosures. Not really sure how this place is still open but it’s honestly just depressing. None of the outside animals were even active. Just sickening honestly.
Experiencia fantástica: Please, take your kids. Ask the attendants about anything there and be prepared to get schooled. I really didn't want to leave any one of the staff. Take your time, play with Dingo's one on one, and Lemurs. So adorable and loving. Play a round of glow in the dark mini golf! A Safari in Branson. Returning every year.
Experiencia positiva: I enjoyed this attraction, I would love to give it all five I did love the animals, and for a small “zoo” it had some real fun animals to see. It is hard indoors to keep the animal odors down and keep all the glass clean all the time. But I still thought it could have been a little cleaner and there were a few mor snakes than I care for(that is truly a personal thing that is okay to disagree with). So I would say if you love to see animals you can’t see up close very often. You should go. Unless you have an over sensitive nose.
Experiencia fantástica: We got to feed sharks. The stingrays are like puppy dogs, you can feed them too. We also had the oppurtunity to play with Dingoes, a smaller breed of them but cool none the less.
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience. Surprised it is much larger than expected from looking from the outside. The dingos were fun and was nice to feed the otters and the nurse sharks. Knowledgeable staff. Fun hanging with lemurs but was way too fast for the cost. Told could not pet them or they would bite. Odd. We did this in Florida and could pet them. Spent $40 in maybe 10 mins or less to do that.
Experiencia fantástica: Was awesome. So many animals to see and pet. Loved being able to feed the sharks. Except for not having bigger animals ( elephants and etc) was one of the best aquarium places to visit in Branson
Experiencia negativa: They have some amazing animals however the enclosures are super small. All of the animals seemed like they were under fed, stressed out or something wrong medically. One of the Macaws was basically naked which is caused by poor diet, medical condition or stress not from preening like the teen girl working told us. All of the animals acted like they were hungry and wanted to be saved. The enclosures were very dirty and the whole place was very smelly. Very sad!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time and can definitely recommend paying to pet the lemurs! Adorable!
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic! We enjoyed our experience! Very kid friendly! Great gift shop with reasonable priced items! So many up close interactions compared to any other aquarium or zoo I’ve been to. The Wolf selection is a must see. Also, if you’re wanting to see the lions and tigers, you’d be a step ahead if you called and requested to see when they’ll be fed that day to get there and see them, otherwise they may den up and be lazy. Fun all around though!
Experiencia fantástica: The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Cory went out of his way to get the marmoset to come out for a group of us. He was informative and kind. I got to interact with lemur and dingos. It was a great experience
Experiencia negativa: This place is definitely ran on a small budget. Everything is kind of ghetto. The employees give off a "I work for tiger king" vibe. All overweight and sloppy, The exhibits are all boring. Most are empty. It's very small. Most of them we couldn't even tell were alive. I wish I could get a refund. Dont waste your money here, go to promise land zoo. WAY better. With way more to do especially for kids. IT COSTS THE SAME!. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?this ghetto place shouldn't charge more than 4 dollars a person. Oh, if they close at 6 and you go in at 4, they're going to push closing time and awkwardly walk around you putting animals away before you even get to see them.
Experiencia negativa: Worst experience during my entire week at Branson. We did nearly EVERYTHING here and nothing was as big of a disappointment as Wild World. Two dead animals inside the enclosure- one within CLOSE eyesight(a dead decaying turtle in a little “pond” under a pipe.)Then- They promise animal experiences but we only got to experience ONE because of lack of any staff anywhere. We waited at the lemurs, the dingos, the otter… ready to pay for the “experiences” and other than Ethan by the Sharks- you couldn’t find a single staff member to feed anything or pay for the experiences. Not only were they were the understaffed- they lacked basic customer service, communication, and friendliness. To top it all off- we had accidently DOUBLE paid and explained to the manager we made a mistake and my fiancé paid AFTER I already had- they refused ANY refund. “It wasn’t her problem” check out Wonders of Wildlife (get the table rock tour with it included) and save your money. Go see their experiences instead. Atleast they have staff readily available.
Experiencia negativa: The only thing that was really exciting about this zoo was the lemur encounter. All of the exhibits seem much too small for the animals. I usually don't have an issue with zoos, but I felt really sad for the alligators that had such tiny enclosures. Im not some crazy activist, I just felt like some of the animals were crammed into small closets. I choked up a couple times. The lemur encounter was fun, and the zookeeper was very informative and fun. She was helpful and saved the experience I had. The baby lemur is ADORABLE. Wild World would be great for small children, but I'd avoid it if you have issues with animals being in small enclosures.
Experiencia fantástica: 1st time to Branson we loved visiting here.
Experiencia negativa: It was cool to see the animals. But, I feel very bad for the animals in the facility. The cages and tanks were absolutely disgusting. The animals should not have to live in these conditions. I definitely do not recommend going here.
Experiencia fantástica: It's hard to tell from the front just how many animals are inside this place! My family and I really enjoyed the experience, and the entry fee is comparable to other Branson attractions. There are options for add-ons where you can feed the Otters, lemurs, or dingos.
Experiencia fantástica: Knowledgeable staff. Beautiful animals. And a lot of them! They looked very well cared for and loved! So glad we went! (We = 4 adults over 50 ☺️)
Experiencia negativa: Not something i would recommend for the price. It was great to see some of these animals up close but i felt bad for some of the animals cages. Do not recommend golfing. Its pricey and the animals tanks are pretty much empty. With the price of admission i would expect better care of the building and animals. Lots of the animals need water changed and yo can tell they haven’t been for a while. In addition it looks as if the animals fall in they cant get back out. The wolf seemed alone, and the tanks were just empty
Experiencia fantástica: 9 year old LOVED it here! There is a whole lot to see. Tons of unique animals you do not see at many zoos. Dingo experience was a highlight; staff member was friendly and informative. Black light mini golf at the end was a bonus.
Experiencia fantástica: Tons of fun to see everybody, especially the sleepy lion and sloths!
Experiencia positiva: Fun place to visit, the kids all liked it. I would say they have mostly snakes and Lizards. But it was fun seeing the lions and Lemers.
Experiencia negativa: I wish I was exaggerating, but the condition of the animal in closers and those in aquariums was absolutely deplorable! Their water bowls and the big ones outside were filled with nasty water , their food rotted meat and fruit. The whole building stunk . The outside animals were either attacking each other( the dingos), they were pacing back and forth , they had no energy, some had big open wounds on their tails or back. They are very thin and filthy and they all just seem sad. The water in the reptile aquariums were full of filth and the pcp pipe the water comes out of had black mold all over them. The condition of the animals is very sad and it doesn’t seem as if they get much care and definitely no cleaning. The only animals who seem to have a clean environment are the lemurs but the rest were in filth, nasty water, big reptiles and animals in small confined spaces. I’m unclear how anyone can begin to lie and say it’s clean when the smell the minute you walk in is unbelievably strong. The only staff we ever saw was the receptionist. My 8 yr old grandson kept asking why everything was so dirty and why the animals looked so sad. Unfortunately we did take several pictures which I have turned in. Please do better, this was a very unfortunate situation to see and quite infuriating. There is no excuse for this
Experiencia positiva: My 1 year old had fun but would not go back. After reading reviews we decided to check it out and was disappointed. It’s very small not stroller friendly at all and the staff are rude. We asked a staff member a question and he was very sarcastic and rude luckily a female staff member stepped in and was able to help us. To see the outdoor animals you have to go down flights of stairs outside that someone using a stroller or wheelchair would not be able to go down as there is no ramp. We did feed the sharks which was neat but that was the highlight of the whole thing.
Experiencia negativa: Terrible terrible place. The kids were excited to see.....once inside it was apparent that NOTHING or any of the animals were taken care of. Filthy dirty place. Smelled horrible. Small enclosures. Pure animal abuse. This place needs shut down. These animals deserve to be in a better facility. It was heartbreaking.
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic place to visit. It was mid-day and hot when we went so several of the outside animals were hiding where it is cool.
Experiencia fantástica: I had so much fun here!!! It is like a giant maze that you walk through with exhibits and tanos with all types of animals and critters on each side. I would definitely recommend going as early as possible because the later we stayed the busier it got and it can get cramped! There were so many animals to see including sloths, sharks, bats, lions, tigers, lemurs, fish, crocodiles and tons more! After you are done there is also glow in the dark mini golf which is pretty quick with only a couple holes but the course is lined with fish/aquatic tanks to look at along the way!
Experiencia fantástica: Pleasantly surprised, this place far exceeded my expectations. Went the day after we went to the aquarium and I wish we wouldn't only gone to Wild World and saved the money we spent at the aquarium. In my opinion, this place is far better than the aquarium
Experiencia negativa: My whole family was disappointed with the lack of customer service they presented. We had a group of 18 people and we all left upset with the lack of communication and service. We waited in line to see the lemur for 30mins only to be told they were going on a break when it was our turn. This was just one example of the employees failure to communicate. The lady at the front was very rude and unaccomodating with all our requests. It was a bad experience and they missed the mark at every turn. There was one good employee who spoke with us about the lions. He was nice and insightful. This was the shining light of the whole experience. Do not take your family here. There is better places with better service!.
Experiencia positiva: Not a bad little place! If you want to see the animals and are willing to pay the entry fee, go for it. My review is more just informational. Don't bother buying tickets in advance, you'll have to wait in the same line as everyone else to get in and it's not a long process. The path through the exhibits can be a bit confusing but they do their best. One thing I was not expecting was a lot of steep stairs to be able to go down and see several of the outdoor animals. That was tricky for us with a stroller. Thankfully our stroller can fold small and is lightweight and has a carrying strap, so that's what we did. But phew - that was our workout for the day. I was also sad to find out that the otters probably weren't going to be viewable that day. It wouldn't have kept us from visiting, but a sign on their exhibit or something would have been nice. We walked through multiple times and I finally asked someone and they told me the otters hadn't been out much lately because they'd just had babies a few weeks prior. I'd been hoping to feed or at least see the otters, because they're my favorite animal. I never did get to see them, so that was disappointing, but not this place's fault whatsoever! Fair warning - some of the hallways where there are tanks with snakes or even large spiders are a bit claustrophobic. I honestly might have had a panic attack if it had been too busy for me to just walk right past and get to a more open area away from those tanks. Thankfully it was not terribly busy since it was a Monday so I was fine. Overall I felt like we'd paid a lot of money and not really seen a whole lot other than snakes and fish and some other animals, but I am also spoiled by the STL Zoo and the fact that I can see bunnies just by visiting Rural King. If you love animals or want to pay the extra $ to hang out with the lemurs or dingoes, it's worth a visit.
Experiencia negativa: This place was so discouraging. I took my grandson, standing at the counter at 503pm and the lady wouldn't let us go in. Hours say until 6pm. Tickets were nonrefundable and we were leaving the next day. My grandson was so disappointed. I feel like she could've had a heart and let me take him through. If you close at 6 it needs to be clear on website so people don't waste time or money.
Experiencia positiva: It was a good experience. It is not the most mobility friendly place. We had a wheelchair for my mother, who can't walk long distances. I understand the stairs cause you have to work with the landscape you have. The problem is I kept getting the wheelchair stuck in the tight area's inside. My son got to play with the dingo pups. I got an amazing video of him interacting with the lemurs.
Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! All of the animals are taken great care of and the employees are kind and informational. Anytime I have a question they are always quick to answer. I have learned so many things about the animals I did not know before. There are so many animals that you can't get bored, I even noticed that when a customer was being disrespectful to the animals the employees put the needs of the animals first ensuring the animals were okay.
Experiencia negativa: This place does not take good care of the animals in its care. The goffin cockatoo had nails that are curling around and almost back into the toe. The cage was filthy. It was extremely depressing looking at it. The bats enclosure was never cleaned either as there was poop on every wall, the door, the floor was thick with it as well. The wolf enclosure was bare with no enrichment activities. These animals all looked depressed. The husbandry is awful and it smelled terrible too. The other aquarium we visited was clean, made you wash your hands prior to touching the stingrays as this one SHOULD. Don’t advertise being able to pet lemurs when no one under 7 is allowed as that was one of the things my 6 year old wanted to do. This was a horrible experience and I would never go back.
Experiencia fantástica: Truly a must-see, very clean, and fun place to go! Every staff member was so gracious and informative. They all seemed very eager to talk about the animals, what an amazing experience.
Experiencia fantástica: 10 out of 10 experience. We went in February during visitor appreciation month and tikets were half off, ($15 a person I believe.) We had a blast! You can pay to Interact with some of the animals, and two people can split a cup of food. (So it was cheaper.) Got to hold a snake, play with the dingos, feed sharks and so much more! After doing everything we wanted, it came out to about $40 a person. Which I feel like is pretty good. The staff are amazing, very nice and informative. So If you're in Branson, definitely check this place out!
Experiencia positiva: Very cool place. Was told Sundays are usually a down day for the animals and well they were all looking like they were exhausted and it was a rest day. They did raise their head when new people come around and look at them. Oh and the stairs to the lions and hyenas will tire you out if you aren’t prepared.
Experiencia fantástica: Awesome experiance! All the animals looked very healthy and happy! The staff was very nice and knowledgeable! Absolutely LOVED playing and petting the Dingo pups, it was truly an amazing experience! I would definitely recommend going here, we will be back for sure!
Experiencia fantástica: We came to visit this place while we were on our honeymoon as our first stop on our first day excursion of our trip. My husband had never been here before so having only visited a couple of places I wanted to stop there first. It was way better than I remember over 5 years ago. We got there about 10:30-11ish and I will say what an amazing time to show up. Most of the animals where just fed and out in their enclosures moving around and we even got to pet the dingos for $5 a piece! They were super fun and playful. So many cool things to see and a fun memory we will carry with us for a life time! After we went around the animal enclosures we played miniature golf that was about 9 holes so a good last little kick off from the tour. We could have paid extra to play with Lemars, feed the sharks, stingrays or others but chose the dingos because we wanted to interact with the animals! Fun for all ages. We are in our mind 20's and don't have kids but any age group would be great!
Experiencia fantástica: This is hands down a hidden gem! I’ve been here about three years ago and now recently. The employees are very knowledgeable. We had one kid named Trenton who literally knew anything and everything about animals in general as well as the animals in their zoo. The animals are well taken care of and their kennels clean. No animals seemed stressed. Ask about the individual animal’s past and the employees can tell you. They’ve expanded since I was there last and it’s really lovely. We went during the off season for Branson which made our experience better bc it wasn’t crowded. I highly recommend this all year round!
Experiencia fantástica: We always love coming into Wild world. The animals are well taken care of and lively, not "miserable" as some reviews may suggest. They are all in very good health and I know the keepers love all of the animals and pour their heart and soul into the job.
Experiencia positiva: This place has so much potential. They had a good variety of animals. Some of the employee’s were happy to be there. My boys enjoyed feeding the sharks. The guy was very helpful and made the experience. We really enjoyed speaking with the young gentlemen that takes care of tigers/lions. He was very knowledgeable and gave us the VIP treatment. He walked us to feed the porcupines and also walked us around to show us some of the big cats. The guy who showed us the dingo’s was also very nice. The mini golf was cool, my boys loved it. My main critique would be the air filtration system in the building. They need one. The air was very stagnant with a stench of mold. This place would be great if they cleaned the glass to the enclosures, added some extra mulch or bedding for the outdoor animals, and added an up to date air filtration system.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place for everyone. Feed otters, sharks and rays! Inside and outside animals from all over the world!
Experiencia fantástica: I was surprised at the variety of animals that was available to see. The facility is very well organized and well managed. I enjoyed seeing and learning about the animals.
Experiencia fantástica: Ok, from the outside didn't look as much. When you got inside, there were so many animals, and the best part was that there is an outside zoo. Where you get a very up close experience. With a shark tank, where they assist you to feed the sharks. And 9 hole mini golf the glow in the dark. Recommend you buy a bottle of water. It gets hot in there.
Experiencia fantástica: So many great animals to see and interact with with a few of the staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals .You can pet dingo feed otters and lemurs a must do !
Experiencia fantástica: I loved this place!!!!! As an animal lover, I hate seeing animals locked up, but these guys wouldn't survive in the wild after being in captivity. Enclosures are small but I did not see any sick or injured animals, all seemed to be taken care of as best as they can be. Had a great time feeding sharks and gators.
Experiencia negativa: Animals aren't properly housed or taken care of. Absolutely appalling to any animal lover interested in education and conservation. It feels more like an improperly set up carnival sideshow. On another note, staff were apathetic at best. Make sure you brace yourself for them to be closed at random. Groupons are only accepted Mon-Fri. They were randomly closed on Wednesday we we planned to go. Unable to go any other day, we arrived on Saturday to no action from the person running the front counter. If we wanted to go in, we had to pay again. And Groupon doesn't do refunds after 3 days from purchase. Lesson learned.
Experiencia positiva: We visited Branson's Wild World and really enjoyed getting to see and interact with the animals. It was a great experience in that regard. However, one downside was the way some of the employees seemed to be staring at us with unpleasant expressions for no apparent reason. We were being quiet and not doing anything other than taking photos and videos. Not sure if they were concerned with us taking photos and videos of their animals or what their issue was. The employees who were giving the unpleasant expressions were other females who worked there. My daughter and I paid for every activity they had available, so it felt odd and uncomfortable to be looked at that way. You would think they'd have something else to do rather than focus on us like that. Would I go back? Probably not. But did we enjoy seeing the animals? Absolutely!
Experiencia positiva: Wife and I went in with low expectations and was blown away. Very friendly staff and purchasing tickets didn’t feel like a hassle. The animals were well taken care of, and the staff seemed to be very knowledgeable, and eager to speak to guests who were interested. Had a really nice time in the aquarium and looking at the reptiles. The Lemur experience was really fun too. (It does cost extra!) Overall the place is pretty well kept and definitely worth the price of admission.
Experiencia fantástica: Always enjoy aquariums and wildlife. we fed the sharks and stingrays. Live animals were beautiful.
Experiencia fantástica: This was a very cute little walk through animal attraction. Clean facilities and clear they care about their animals. I heard several times from different employees that let the animals dictate the amount of time out and interaction with guest. Let’s be honest we love animal interactions and sometimes wild and tame love interaction with humans, and sometimes they don’t. The only con I have about this place, it’s a little pricey for the size and time you can actually spend here. But the lemurs were worth it. They were so fun and entertaining to just hang out with.
Experiencia negativa: The entire place smells like urine and ammonia. Not stroller of toddler friend as depicted. Animal exhibits and habitats are abysmal. Multiple animals pacing and seemingly unhappy with living conditions. Needs a lot of tender lover, care, and cleaning crew. Could be a great experience with a little passion and care for the animals. Staff are unprofessional and seemingly inexperienced with actual animal care.
Thanks for coming.
Experiencia positiva: Branson's Wild World is worth a visit if in the Branson area. There are both good and bad things about this place. The good... Plenty of parking, not crowded if you go on a weekday, it follows a specific path so your not walking over people, most animals are easily visible and closer than you would see at a regular zoo, good animal interactions although all are at an additional cost of $5-$15 require a signed waiver and have age restrictions, 9 hole blacklight mini golf was fun and also has fishtanks throughout course with animals not seen in main part, nice size gift shop, all staff we ran into were very friendly. The Bad... There is a distinct smell to the place which makes sense since it's animals inside an enclosed building, the outdoor exhibit requires walking door a lot of steps and I mean a lot just to see 4 animals, personally I'd say skip that part it's just a hyena and a few small cat family animals, there are only one set of restrooms in the entire place about half way through the exhibit, if you need to go you have to navigate through to them or backtrack, one somewhere by the entrance would be a plus and most places have a restroom by the entrance, the location as a whole fits a lot into a small space but it will only take you about an hour to an hour and a half to get through so way that info against the cost to see if it's worth it for you. Overall, we are glad we stopped by. It's one of those attractions that I feel you should do at least once during a visit to Branson, especially if you have kids. The lemurs, sharks, sea turtle, otters, and lion/tiger exhibits were our favorite.
Experiencia fantástica: Great weekend getaway, alots of walking but plenty to see. Indoor and outdoor animals, small and large, loved being able to feed sharks and stingrays!!
Experiencia positiva: Smells but animals were neat. Mini golf was okay...but some families didn't understand they had to wait for the families in front of them before you can move on.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is awesome! There are plenty of extra activities to keep the younger crown involved and entertained. They have a wide variety of animals with fun and educational displays. I have been here with my children twice, and we loved it both times! I can see coming here again and again without problem. I highly recommend this attraction!
Experiencia fantástica: This was a fun side attraction. The park needs some TLC (landscaping, aquarium cleaning, etc)but it’s still pretty fun. The staff was very informative and friendly. We enjoyed the Dingo experience and Lemur attraction.
Experiencia fantástica: Really fun walk through aquarium/reptile center/small zoo. Small 9 hole mini golf was good to cool off a bit from the 100 degree heat. Needs improvement: The gift shop had some fun items but we were very disappointed they had no bags to carry items. A gift shop with no bags or boxes??!! We had to hold our items while playing mini golf. Come on Management, you can do better! Get some bags/boxes and you'll likely sell more items. If you want to help the environment, use recycled bags. Almost left a 4 star review on this alone. (This is from a small retail business owner. Our customers like bags to carry their purchases) It is definitely worth visiting this place. Give it a shot!
Thanks. glad you had fun
Experiencia fantástica: When walking into the Wild World you’re immediately greeted with two parrots. They are very loud and very fun. Then, when you walk in to the front desk you can pay and see a pretty big gift shop, and you can see lemurs as well. While walking through the exhibits you can experience feeding alligators, sharks, and dingos! They also have an area for petting stingrays, Armadillos, and get to have fish nibble your fingers. If you pay a small fee of 15 dollars per person you can go and hang out with lemurs and feed them! The service was great and they even gave us free waters! Overall this was a ten out of ten experience and I would recommend for all ages.
Experiencia fantástica: Price was fantastic to kick off a great experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and there was a huge. Variety and so much packed in to one location! We spent several hours there! There are extra fees to feed the animals, but they are reasonable and well worth the experiences! We had a great time and the day included a black light putt putt golf inside the complex! Highly recommend!
Experiencia positiva: Pleasantly surprised at this place. We've never seen it before. It's a combination aquarium and zoo. It's small but nice. I didn't take pics of the reptiles or fish. We enjoyed visiting.
Experiencia fantástica: We were there today which is a Tuesday around 2pm and my kids absolutely loved it. They said they had a blast when we left! Staff was very nice and interacted with us! You have to go into the Lemor's room they were funny to watch my kids loved watching other people do it. Thanks for the great time.
Experiencia positiva: Very cool zoo experience. The animals were very active and engaging. There are several opportunities to pet exotic animals if you are willing to pay and sign a waiver. Lions, gators, tigers, wolves, kangaroo, sea turtle, sharks, are just some of the animals featured here. Definitely worth a visit if in the Branson area.
