Experiencia fantástica: Even though this aquarium is smaller than the Odysea, it is closer to where we live, and we were able to get 50 percent off tickets because we are members of the Phoenix zoo. Odysea is great, but doesn't offer half off admission. It definitely made it worth it for me, especially because I have a toddler who just rushes through aquariums! The half off admission for my family of 6 was the same as one adult ticket at odysea.

Experiencia positiva: Great little aquarium. We spent about an hour walking through. Most of the exhibits were accessible/viewable for little kids, so my kids had a good time. The sting rays and jelly fish were their favorites. I would've given 5 stars, but when we bought something at the gift shop, the lady at the register automatically added a charitable donation to my credit card charge, and I didn't appreciate that. I saw the screen pop up 'would you like to donate', but then it immediately went away as she hit a key, and I didn't think anything of it. Two days later, and there's an extra transaction on my credit card. It's not gonna break the bank, but I didn't authorize it, and it's just gonna make the aquarium seem like they're so generous writing the big check of donated money, when in reality most people probably didn't sign up for it.

Experiencia negativa: Normally love coming here, but some pretty pathetic decisions from management took away Vets getting in free. They said it’s 30% off when you purchase online for Vets but they couldn’t discount us there. Won’t be coming back and I’m sure every Vet that finds this out ain’t coming back either. You’re not losing money from Vets getting in free, we’re bringing customers too!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The aquarium was bigger than I thought, especially with it being in the mall. It took me about an hour to walk through and see the fishes. There were about 4-5 rooms. The first room had some open-glass tanks with faux waterfalls. Another room had some jellyfish, lionfish, etc, while another had seahorses. There was also a center-room that featured stingrays. They have a deck you can go up to get a birds-eye view (which includes a accessible mini-elevator" to get up too). They also have a starfish petting area and an indoor playground. Really liked the "bubbles" that you can crawl under and poke your head into. My favorite was the sea glass tunnel so you could see fish swimming over you. At the end, they have a circular tank where fish swim around you, and a gift shop with lots of cute sea-critter souvenirs. Accessible entrance and accessible mall-front parking (park by Legoland parking area for easiest access).

Experiencia positiva: Too expensive and not enough of an exhibit to justify the price. I went 8 years ago and felt it was more enjoyable, but the cost is just too much anymore for what you get.

Experiencia positiva: Not a big aquarium, but definitely get your money's worth. There's a whole variety of sea-life and has very educational information. The hands-on tide pool was great and got a lot of good information from the employee.

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited the aquarium and overall had a great experience exploring the exhibits and learning about marine life. The displays were engaging, and the staff throughout the facility were helpful and knowledgeable. However, my visit started off on a less positive note. The front desk staff member who checked us in—a woman with an African accent—was quite abrupt and came across as rude. It was a bit off-putting and didn’t give the warmest first impression. Thankfully, the rest of the visit made up for that. I still enjoyed the aquarium and would recommend it, though I hope the front desk team improves on their customer service going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience, especially for a first-time aquarium for my partner. We bought the behind the scenes tickets in advance and Aj was a wonderful guide, and he was an absolute delight to talk to Massive reccomendation for adults and kids alike to visit this place! Especially if you're from out of town, on a budget, and on a time crunch! It's worth it, and should I visit Arizona again I might have to take a peek at their other exhibits!

Experiencia positiva: The 3 star rating isn't for the aquarium itself. The aquarium was a fine experience. It's a smaller place that still has a lot to see and interact with. Great for a small detour while shopping. Lots of sea life to see. The rescued turtle is also really cool. I don't remember her name, but she's cute. The 3 star rating is due to the unhelpful lady at the admissions desk during my Sunday morning visit on May 31st. She had a bad attitude the entire time I stood there purchasing my tickets. Instead of helping people, she just got annoyed any time a visitor didn't have pre purchased tickets. She acted as if everyone was supposed to know to do that before arriving when the entrance had no indication or signage explaining that pre purchased tickets were necessary. She then moves on to the next group after directing my family and I towards the self purchase kiosks and asks them if they pre purchased tickets. They respond no. She then asks if they're all paying together. They responded no. She then replied, "You guys are making this hard." As if it was that much of an inconvenience to assist visitors with purchasing admission. Not once did she explain that there was a malfunction or something to that effect. She just complained at everyone who entered. Absolutely unprofessional. I wish I had gotten her name. I hate to use race to describe people, but I can only describe her as an African American woman in her mid to late 20s. Whoever she was, she was awful.

Experiencia positiva: Great kid-friendly aquarium at Arizona Mills Mall! The price is just right for the size of the Aquarium. It is fun to see the variety of aqua life in an easy-to-follow floor plan. It was fun to see the turtles and tank with stingrays. I loved the bubble like viewing areas for little kids. The tour ends with a small but nice gift shop.

Experiencia fantástica: We bought the combo tickets and did the Lego Land as well. My kids enjoyed the aquarium more so, but they are ages 5-11, so I think younger kids would enjoy the Legoland more. The aquarium had some very neat fish, and the huge tunnel tank was amazing. The big sea turtle in there was so fun to watch. Definitely would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: The exhibits are at a very child friendly height and several of them have bump outs or places to stand where kids can see from additional angles. There's a large variety of fish and other sea creatures to look at, a touch tank, and a cool tunnel with a 360 degree view. There is also a small play area at the end. My 2 year old son liked seeing all of the fish, but got antsy and needed to run around a bit by the end, so it was good that the play area was before the gift shop. We spent about 2 hours there in total.

Our group was all adults so we didn't do the "kids" activities but we absolutely LOVED the big tank/tunnel with the massive turtle, sharks, ect. The gift shop was really cute and super affordable, most of us bought something. We were completely satisfied with what we got for the price. I'd totally recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: My family had such a great time at the Aquarium!!! We did not get to see Donna, perhaps some other day. Regardless, it was wonderful!!! The starfish we touched had a unique texture. It is not every day you get to touch a live Starfish. We also touched a shark egg, which was not fertilized. The experience was an amazing bonus for our first time and then went through the mall.

Experiencia positiva: To be honest, I live close to one of the best Aquariums in America so I had to prepare myself mentally. I set the bar low in my mind. How can an aquarium in a mall come close to a great one in a zoo? But, i was very impressed! It had a lot more exhibits and large aquariums than I imagined. It started off slow but got better and better. It was worth the cost and the time.

Experiencia negativa: Our visit to Sea Life Arizona was quite underwhelming. The technology exhibits were non-functional, and there was a lack of informative content about the various sea creatures. The facility had a lot of redundancy with little variety in the types of fish on display. Additionally, the dim lighting made it difficult to read the informational posts scattered throughout the building. We were also disappointed by the absence of staff to assist visitors, answer questions, or enhance the overall experience. In comparison to other aquariums we've visited, such as The Florida Aquarium, The Dallas World Aquarium, and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Sea Life Arizona falls short. It might be a passable option for preschool children or if you're really bored and happen to be near the mal. Overall, it doesn't measure up to the standards of many other aquariums.

Experiencia fantástica: Great aquarium for all ages! They have sensory friendly offerings for guests with autism and guided tours. The gift shop is nicely organized and kept clean. They have a great selection of good quality stuffed animals and keepsakes to choose from for great prices. The animals enclosures seem well maintained, spacious, and engaging for the animals while maintaining great views for guests. The employees kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's very easy to have a self guided visit if you prefer to as well.

My kids are older so they thought it was super lame but did take them once when they were little and they thought it was super cool so I guess it's a cool place for little kids.

There are several locations where children (and adults) can enter a dome and be part of the underwater experience. A tablet at each display provides information about the sea life represented.

I spoke to someone last week who was going to call me back to help be able to buy 6 tickets, but they did not call me back. Experiencia negativa: It’s an ok fish tank for preschoolers. They need to put some effort into the clarity of the tanks, cleanliness of the facility, and the attitude of the staff. Although I’ll admit it’s hard to be enthusiastic about working somewhere that’s just mediocre.

Experiencia fantástica: We went with our 2 and 4 year old on Valentine’s Day and loved it. Just the right size for smaller kids attention and not very crowded. The girls loved looking at the Lego shop after.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our 3 month old there today. We had 3 adults and it was a little under $20 per person (under 2 is free). We were really impressed with it! The tunnel and the stingrays were our baby's favorite part. Definitely a great sensory activity for your little ones and not too crowded during the week.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't believe this place is in a mall. Beautiful creatures await. There are bubble type viewing spots that allow children to be part of the experience when they climb inside. The kids loved it. The different fish and sea creatures make for an interesting visit. At the end, there is a huge climbing center for the kids as well as other smaller things that the kids play on. There is also a store to purchase your favorite toys and souvenir to help remember your visit. Although I would not think twice to take kids here, I found it to be surprisingly interesting for adults as well. The staff were fabulous and they were friendly and helpful. It is such a fun place. I will go back when I am in the area.

Experiencia negativa: This is the sketchy-est MALL IN PHOENIX... The demographic that wonders these shopping halls speaks volumes to the area and store fronts. I've told my wife to NEVER go to the Arizona Mills Mall ALONE. I Will always meet her before escorting her though the corridors... THEY definitely have major attractions here....HAVE HEAD ON A SWIVEL @All Times, Shop @ Your own risk!

For a dad and two adult daughters it took us about an hour to walk through the whole thing. There were touch tanks, a walk-under tunnel, rays, sharks, jellyfish, sea turtles, and lots of other fun stuff.

This is a very affordable aquarium to spend a fun few hours and you can enjoy it regardless of age. We have grown children, but you don't feel out of place here and the smiles we see on childrens faces experiencing the wonders of marine life in the middle of the desert is priceless.

Experiencia fantástica: Drove over 5 hours today to get to the aquarium, and my husband and I had such a great time! While this aquarium is on the "smaller" side, it's definitely worth the money if you actually spend time viewing and reading about the animals. The animal specialists and educators here are passionate, and that's shown in the cleanliness of the exhibits and how they talk to their guests. AJ is a phenomenal employee and demonstrated excellent customer service today! If we're ever back in the Phoenix area, we'll definitely come back here again.

I want to also give a shout out to a wonderful staff member, a young gentleman named AJ. He was incredibly kind and helpful, full of knowledge about the animals in the largest tank (we were at the end of the tunnel), and my kids and I really enjoyed chatting with him!

Experiencia fantástica: Went with my daughters for the Animal Crossing event. Plus the Halloween theme. There was a crowd but they kept everything orderly. It was a fun time. Got to see the pregnant sea horses, the jelly fish, sharks ..everything!! Love seeing the sea life !!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is beautiful. Lots to see and a perfect alternative for OdySea Aquarium. It's not going to brake the bank like OdySea Aquarium, fun for kids and the staff is friendly, I do recommend the backstage passes as you can see well "backstage". Over a good and fun experience for the family.

Experiencia positiva: I mostly went for the animal crossing collab. It was so cute and the staff was very friendly and kind. I will say the actual aquarium itself is pretty small but I think for a landlocked state it makes sense. I think it would be really cool if they partnered with Seafood Watch like the Monterey Bay aquarium to promote more sustainability. Overall im happy with my visit, but I don’t know if I will return after the animal crossing collaboration.

Experiencia fantástica: Very child friendly, with a lot of interactive aspects. They have a "look closer" part in a lot of exhibits, where it's a rounded window for kids to put their head into to see better. It wasn't extremely long or huge, which is perfect for a day activity with little planning.

Loved all we got to see and even KK Slider was there doing a photo op. My kids loved it, but I loved it, too! They also have a decent playground inside the smaller kids will love.

Experiencia positiva: Went for the animal crossing event, which i feel like it wasn't much of an event. Just a few large cut outs of characters and a stamp. Aquarium was fine. We were through it in about an hour. Kind of felt like a one and done, meaning I don't think I'll ever go back.

Experiencia fantástica: All in all it was pretty decent. Recommend going on Groupon and getting the pass that includes both the Lego adventure and sea life cause it's a great deal with way better upgrades. Took about 45 mins to walk through that's even with stopping to look and take pictures.

Any longer and they probably would have complained about so much walking. There is a playground area at the end of the aquarium and you exit through the gift shop. There is a nice gift shop and even a play area that's enclosed at the end for the kids to run around in, that was a nice and unexpected. I can't say much more about the aquarium without exposing the fun but check it out for yourself. I know I was very surprised and excited to be there. I didn't feel like I was in Arizona at all. Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend the package combo with Legoland for the best deal. If you are military either active or a veteran bring your ID for free admission in to both attractions. It also saves you 10% in the stores. Staff are friendly and helpful at both locations

The aquarium is very interactive which I really enjoyed. There is a play area when you approach the exit (before the gift shop) which is great to let the kids play. Would 100% go back!
