Experiencia negativa: Way too overpriced. Very small yet It was nearly 60 dollars for 2 adults and you can walk it in 15 minutes. If this was 15 bucks I could see it, but not at nearly twice that.

Experiencia negativa: We drove 2 hours and it was so small and it cost over 150$ do not go there because it is so small but on google it said it was big do not go there I literally walked the WHOLE aquarium in LESS than 15mins and I stoped to look at stuff, dont waste your time or money

Experiencia fantástica: We love Sea Live in Concord! We have been before and decided to visit again recently. It is still a delight to see all of the sea creatures up close. We had taken our granddaughter when she was much younger and enjoyed seeing her experience Sea Life again years later. I like that the crowds are controlled by time so that you don't have to look through groups of people. There are plenty of plaques around with helpful information, too.

Experiencia positiva: We have been to the Sea life at Mall of America and thought they would be about the same. This one is much smaller. Maybe 40 minutes tops to get through it. It's $25 per person and it seems like a lot of money for a short amount of time.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly this aquarium was not good—and it was so expensive considering how small it was. The eel in the tanks looked like they were on death’s door and they were in small tanks. I’m not sure if they were actually okay. They didn’t really have a lot of interesting fish, and they had very small collections of everything, so I felt like I was walking over to a tank and moving on very quickly. Another thing about the aquarium is that it was very kid-oriented and I kind of felt like I couldn’t enjoy it as an adult. We drove an hour and a half to get here and when I saw it was in a mall I should have known. No way to get my money back for such a waste of time. I went to the NC aquarium at fort fisher last year and it was such a good aquarium. It didn’t look like it was going to be much from the outside but it was great. This one matched its appearance unfortunately.

My family drove 1 1/2 hours and spent 110$ on tickets to visit this aquarium only to be able to walk the WHOLE aquarium in FIFTEEN mins. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the time and money and go to Greensboro science museum. They had nothing crazy. Fish, few small sharks, turtle, jellyfish and stingrays. Such a disappointment and a waste of money

Experiencia positiva: This was a fun way to spend an hour but not worth the price, in my opinion. The touch tank is higher than it should be, making it difficult for smaller kids to touch. And they really only have star fish and sea urchins in the tank. And the whole thing is relatively small. We only spent an hour because we went through twice.

I spent around $115 for my family of 5 and we were done with the walk through within probably 45 minutes. I think my kids enjoyed designing a fish on a tablet at the very end the most.

Experiencia positiva: This is the closest aquarium in my area besides the pet stores but for a mall aquarium it's a pretty good size. It's very hard to reach anyone on the phone to ask about hours because sometimes they'll have days where they close earlier but no announcement on the webpage. I believe they stop selling tickets after 5pm but buying them online makes it easier to secure a spot. They have a scavenger hunt or a stamp collection for kids to accomplish throughout the walk. Sea life seems healthy.

Experiencia fantástica: The aquarium was located in a mall. We took the tour. Had an awesome time seen all the sealife. Scheduled a behind the scenes tour for about an hour later, the had set times. Was absolutely worth the wait. Got to see all the stuff they do to care and feed the animals, quarantine tanks and finally got to go to the top of the tank where the staff goes .

Very small, easily gone through in an hour. Price was high for how small but it was really beautiful, got some great pics. Would love to see more seating for those who want to sit and watch and enjoy their money's worth.

Experiencia negativa: I usually don't leave a review but I will this time the sealife was not what I expected first its located in a mall it was 57 doll for two adults which was definitely over priced in 30 min we were done there were several tanks of fish which were clean and nice but small its nothing like an aquarium as I have been to in past it was definitely over charged 10 to 15 dollars a person would of been acceptable.

Experiencia positiva: Our son had an amazing time here. He loves all marine life, so this aquarium made him enjoy himself very much. The service was great, as every employee we interacted with was very polite and helpful. The variety of fish was good, and the petting pool for the starfish is a great touch! We do think that the price paid was a bit on the high range for how fast a walk through was completed. We also didn't get to see their signature rescued sea turtle. Keep in mind that we also didn't pay for the guided tour, so maybe their sea turtle was shown through that. Nevertheless, I highly recommend coming here. Cheers!

Experiencia fantástica: Loved it! Hard to believe it's in a mall. It was a bit crowded when we went on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, but not overly so! The staff were informative and friendly. The tunnel was quite awesome. Definitely do recommend for small groups.

Experiencia fantástica: Took 3 year old grand daughter. She wanted to go to the beach to see fish....so this was the closest option. Glad we came. She had a blast. Just amazed at all the sea life and the sleeping shark at the bottom of the tank and the flying stingrays....memory made. She doesn't quit talking about finding Nemo and Dorie in the various tanks. Thank you for the smiles and visual stimulation. Appreciate this place greatly. We will be back.

Experiencia negativa: I was very disappointed with the aquarium. It was Wednesday and the cost was $26.74. I began at the entrance and I went very slowly as not to miss anything but within 10 to 12 minutes I was exiting. Not much to see or experience. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY REFUNDED.

There are many diverse species and the tanks are well maintained. There was a turtle with bubble butt syndrome though, hope he gets better soon. ❤️ (Bubble butt is where air gets trapped under the turtle's shell causing his rear to float)

I guess some had been torn down and not replaced so we couldn't complete all the missions. If yourtgoing to charge for the activity, you should be able to complete it. Had it been complete, it would have been a great way to engage my kiddo. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Shout out to Jasmine who helped fill in some blanks on the explorer activity.

Experiencia positiva: I am not a stranger to Concord Mills shopping area, but my family and I wanted to check out Sea Life for the first time. The staff were very friendly, professional, and full of GREAT enthusiasm! If I could rate just the environment and the team’s overall customer service, I would have given 5 stars without hesitation. However, we were not pleased by the size of the aquarium. It was very small and the walk through time is only about 15-minutes. The price was definitely NOT worth it at all! Maybe consider adding more to the place, or having more reasonable prices for families. Great team though!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed. My four year old was having a blast. On arrival to the Gift shop and very rude retail lady yelled at him over a 5 dollar plastic shark. Because he running towards his daddy doing your "Survey" that was a good survey however it's very much retracted. I didn't get to buy him anything nor did he get his gift he earned doing the scavenger hunt. I will not be back. And Im from West Virginia so I'll make sure to spread the word about the rude service.

Experiencia negativa: We did the beyond the surface experience. For my family and I it was $185 dollars. I thought fit was gonna be something very fun and special but it was a tour thru the back of the aquarium and we got to see the top of the big tank for a few minutes. It didn't feel worth the money at all. We did get to go thru the aquarium itself and we got a bracelet. We live an hour away and there was traffic that was going to make us late. Apparently if you're late you miss the tour and lose your money. I wish I had more positive things to say but $185 was just way too much money for a 30 minute tour.

Experiencia fantástica: We love coming here because it's just a short (40 min) drive from our house. It doesn't take long to walk through but there is a lot to enjoy and even a few hands-on activities along the way. It's nice that they have time frames to enter because it keeps it from being crowded. And if I understand correctly, you can return as often as you want to on the day of your visit at no extra charge. So, you can walk around the mall a bit, grab some lunch at the food court, and then head back to see the kiddos favorite Jellyfish or Seahorse.

Experiencia fantástica: We went to the SEA LIFE Aquarium in Charlotte for my nephew’s 9th birthday, and it was an amazing experience! He had been asking me for a long time to take him, and it did not disappoint. The facility was beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. The staff was outstanding! From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with friendly and helpful service. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was fantastic he explained everything about our tickets, tour times, and what was included. He was incredibly informative and made sure we had everything we needed. The photo staff was also wonderful, providing excellent service with a friendly attitude. A special thank you to the team(Billy) who helped me when I lost my bag. Security responded quickly, reviewed the cameras, and recovered my bag in less than five minutes. I was so relieved, especially after spending $80 at the gift shop! Their professionalism and efficiency truly impressed me. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had since moving to the city. I’ll definitely be coming back—maybe for my nephew’s next birthday or even sooner! Huge thanks to the amazing staff—y’all deserve a raise! Keep up the great work!

Experiencia fantástica: What a delightful little adventure! This small but amazing aquarium takes 45min to 1hr to walk through, it is gorgeously maintained and themed. Once you buy your tickets they're valid all day, the aquarium is inside the Concord Mills mall and is a great treat to have if you're in the area. We loved seeing the several different beautiful starfish and the moon jellyfish.

What was there was neat, but if I hadn't been forcing my kids to slow down, they would've made it through the whole place in twenty minutes.

Experiencia negativa: It was nice there was an area for face painting but it was very small. You can tell it's in the mall there was only one touching station and it was for starfish. It took 30minutes to walk through and that's with two children. Let's just say I'm glad I'm a veteran and had discounted tickets.

Experiencia positiva: Got there later than opening. It was actually almost after noon but with a crowd. My daughter still loved it. Her mother and I even learned many things along the walk.

Experiencia fantástica: Very cute and small aquarium you can go to that is located in a (huge) mall. We went first thing when they opened so there was no line and no issues with parking. We spent around 45min-1hr total. The aquarium has so much to see, good for couples and families. My favorite part was the touch tank. I got to touch sea urchins and starfish!! This really enhanced the experience for me. I will never forget that core memory. Once your done with the aquarium, you can explore the mall which was a nice surprise for us when visiting. The nice thing about the ticket is that you have admission for the whole day so you can go in and out as long as the aquarium is opened for that day!

Experiencia positiva: This exhibit is a bit on the small side, but it's in a mall so obviously you have to temper your expectations. It does tend to be on the pricier end for what they offer. Likely best for kids at least 1 and up as there is a small area that is interactive as well as a place for crafts at the end of the exhibit. Our 6 month old was a bit overstimulated and we only lasted about 20 minutes trying to go as slow as we could.

Experiencia positiva: I came here on a rainy day with 2 small children. This aquarium is the perfect size for kids under 5, but beyond that it may start to feel rather small. There are lots of fun little exhibits with different types of fish, rays, sharks various other sea creatures, and everything is well displayed and easy to see, especially if you're under 4 feet tall. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive, as you can walk through this whole thing in less that 20 min and see everything. However, the next closest aquarium is 1.5+ hours away, so it's definitely better than a long drive to Columbia or Atlanta. Also a pretty impressive "tunnel of love" where you see sharks, eagle rays and all sorts of sea creatures large and small.

It was much larger than I originally expected just based on the fact it’s inside the mall. 10/10 would recommend to families or just as a nice adventure.

Experiencia positiva: I am an aquarium enthusiast. My child's school went here for a field trip. This aquarium is located inside Concord Mills Mall. It is small however it has enough attractions to hold a small child's attention. I wouldn't recommend groups larger than 30 to visit as there is not truly enough space to move through it. It is an unguided walk through. However, the representatives are all helpful, professional and occasionally walk through and willing to answer any questions one may have. There is a touch tank stocked with starfish and small shells. Again just enough for a small outing to learn and see tropical and freshwater sea life.

Experiencia negativa: It was super stressful as you walk in everyone is squished through. You finally arrive at a tide pool where kids may touch a few starfish and urchins. There were a few rays and sharks at the end in an open area but that was the end of the aquarium. There was an obvious awareness the aquarium is in the mall, so it wouldn’t be huge but for $20+ a person it was underwhelming.

Experiencia fantástica: This aquarium was really great to take the kids to(: We have a 9yo and toddler and both of them had a great time, as did the adults! So many fish and sea critters to see in the exhibits, and there was a starfish/urchin interactive exhibit which was really cool! Both kids did the Shark Badge and had fun looking for the stamps in the different rooms. Not to mention the tunnel being such a favorite of all of ours! From starfish to sea horses, jellyfish, eels, sharks, stingrays, and so much more - I definitely recommend this adventure!

From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by stunning underwater exhibits, vibrant marine life, and engaging interactive displays that made the visit both fun and educational. One of the highlights was the massive ocean tunnel, where we got to walk through a glass tunnel surrounded by sharks, rays, and colorful fish swimming all around us—it felt like stepping into the ocean itself! The jellyfish exhibit was mesmerizing, with glowing, otherworldly creatures floating gracefully in illuminated tanks. For families, SEA LIFE offers plenty of hands-on experiences. The touch pool was a favorite, where we got to gently interact with sea stars and anemones. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share fun facts about the animals, making the visit even more enriching. Haven especially loved the seahorses and clownfish (just like Nemo!), and the interactive displays kept him entertained while learning about marine conservation. The aquarium does a great job of promoting ocean protection, and it’s inspiring to see efforts toward sustainability and rescue programs. Overall, SEA LIFE Aquarium is a must-visit for anyone who loves marine life or just wants a fun and immersive experience. Whether you’re visiting with kids or going solo, there’s something magical about being surrounded by the wonders of the sea. We’ll definitely be back for another visit!

They have a tunnel for an immersive experience as well as many plaques describing the sea life in the tanks. We had a great experience and were able to go through it in roughly 30 minutes to an hour.
