Experiencia positiva: 11$ per person. We had a 3 year old that was free. 2$/tray to feed the seals. Small but had lots of cool touch tanks for the kiddos. Lots of native fish and other ocean life to see and learn more about.

Christopher S. 2 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff, feeding the seals is AWESOME, and its cheap. Its a very small aquarium, but its a fun time while you visit the waterfront! They sell small sections of fish (4 per $2 tray you buy separately at the door) you can toss to the seals they have in the aquarium! Its fun, and worth your time to stop by while visiting seaside!

Experiencia positiva: Good experience here with the kids. Small, but honestly that’s not bad when it comes to traveling with kids… love the seals.

Experiencia negativa: This was by far the MOST HORRENDOUS experience of my life. Absolutely horrifying to see how these poor animals live. MULTIPLE Big fish and giant eels packed together into these teeny tiny tanks in the walls, they were all just sitting there, listless and depressed. The sharks (2) were in a tiny rock pool in the middle of the room huddled together in the corner on top of each other not moving. They were not super small sharks either. The poor seals had no space to actually do anything other than swim/pace back and forth and come up for air. That's it. I walked in and almost immediately walked back out. Absolutely disgusting to see that people actually were enjoying themselves in there, and absolutely disgusting that this is still happening today. The ocean is 100 feet away from that aquarium, it's cruel to be keeping these animals in tiny acrylic boxes when their home is RIGHT THERE. I will never step foot in that hell hole again and I strongly suggest that you don't either.

Experiencia fantástica: Always love this place. This time the seals were not hungry...which is a bummer. But, more importantly, the octopus was not in the open-top tank...it was in the back in quarantine. I love seeing the octopus...

Experiencia fantástica: This is great for kids and adults. It’s not big, but contains so much information. It was busy but easy to get around. Feeding the seals in the draw but it was the cheapest museum of our trip and the price point is very fair.

Bunny Parker 2 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: We had to stop by so the kids could feed the seals. They are a small venue, but not overpriced. Worth stopping by if you like smaller places, as we do.

Bella Woods 2 months ago

Experiencia negativa: made my first report to peta based off of how bad they treat literally all of their animals here. like seriously why tf do yall have 11 seals crammed in that tiny cage

Matt Burnett 2 months ago

Experiencia negativa: I really knew better than to come here, but my young daughter talked me into it. There isn't anything I can say that hasn't been said plenty of times in the orher poor reviews. Every single one of the animals are treated inhumanely, and I've seen better conditions at the worst pet stores I've been to. The octopus and seals were especially depressing. I don't understand how anyone can rate this 5 stars and not realize how horrible the conditions are. It's so bad that I even felt bad for the invertebrates.

Amy M 2 months ago

Experiencia positiva: It’s a fun place. Quite a few things to see and very educational. We enjoyed the educational presentation with the ambassador animal. We also enjoyed watching the vulture(?) eat and learned quite a bit about her during that time. We also loved the sculptures made from ocean plastic and the effort made to clean the oceans. Rated 4 stars because it was over $120 for 5 of us. Pretty expensive for the small aquarium. We would come back though!

Monika S 2 months ago

Experiencia positiva: I wish they could update this place. Each time I bring family nothing changes. it's a great experience for kids and there is possibly to feed seals at additional fee.

Michael Fraboni 2 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Smallish place but lots of fun to feed and interact with the sea lions. Definitely worth it.

Experiencia positiva: Great place, feed the seals. Small place to visit, expected more out if it for being right by the ocean.

Experiencia fantástica: Granddaughter loved it. We took our kids here and now our kids are taking their kids. Her absolute favorite was the seals. Just like our kids. She did want to touch the big octopus and quite a few other creatures

Experiencia fantástica: It's always one of the best parts of our visit to Seaside! The staff is always so friendly & helpful, explaining about the sea creatures. Of course, feeding the seals is the highlight of the aquarium! Thank you, Seaside Aquarium!

Experiencia positiva: It was educational and interesting to see all of the different marine life. I felt slightly bad for the ani.als in captivity, but I know that there is no way they could survive in that wild. I also recommend checking out the gift shop.

Serenity V 3 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: I really liked the place it was super cool especially their touch tank I really liked the little crabs. The seals though they were so cute swimming around and sometimes splashing the crowd I would definitely recommend getting the fish tray to feed the seals. Overall I enjoyed being here and would recommend to come to start off your day.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! We got to feed the seals for $2 a plate of fish! We also got to look at some of the aquatic life that is home to the area. In total we got the family bundle which was $36 for a maximum of 6 people. Great price!! Don't expect a huge huge Aquarium, small but sweet

Beth Knoll 3 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: This is lots of fun for kids! You are allowed to feed the seals! They can learn a lot about aquatic life! Enjoyed our visit very much!

Aurora LeFevre 3 months ago

Experiencia positiva: The sea dogs were the cutest thing. The aquarium had tons of fish and options but I feel they could have better environments for the animals as it all seemed dirty and crammed.

Liv Canning 3 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was very nice and knowledgeable, went out of their way to explain a lot about the touch tank! Feeding the seals was fun and cheap. Small place but so fun.

Hannah White 3 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Worth the visit! You can feed the seals $2 a tray a fish, but keep in mind they might not be hungry. When it's feeding time they are very active and silly. You can tell they take care of all the aquatic life they have there and the workers are informative and nice. RIP Victor

Experiencia fantástica: Annual visit and we enjoy it. Watching the octopus in the big tank is magical when it's moving it's like watching music. Feeding the seals is fun too. You can see they're already well fed and spoiled rotten

Experiencia fantástica: Small place but really nice local aquarium.

Emily Skiver 3 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Probably fun for families to come visit, but felt sad and dingy inside. It wasn't a good feeling to see how small the tanks were, especially the red octopus. A tourist trap with crappy living conditions for the "main attractions", which are living sea creatures. Do not support.

Methio Arya (Charlie Arya) 3 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: The Pacific Octopus was sleeping but it was sleeping fully displayed on the corner of the tank. The Seals were happy and active. This was well worth the money. Be aware that you have to use the restroom off the property about two blocks down at the beach.

Experiencia fantástica: My boyfriend and I traveled from MN and decided to check this place out! We met the owner and he was great to chat with. Very friendly staff. Aquarium is small, but so much fun! Plenty of variety of species and a touch tank area. Feeding the Seals is a must do. If you happen to meet Heidi, the aquarium dog, read her bandana and take some time to play fetch with her. Great experience overall!

Nathan Fife 4 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: This was by far one of the most enjoyable aquariums I've been to, despite how small it is. Admission is cheap but they do charge per food tray to feed the seals which you absolutely have to do. There's a pretty wide variety of fish and invertebrates in the tanks which is great as well.

John S 4 months ago

Experiencia positiva: A smaller aquarium, but an accurate depiction of sea life of the area. They have a cadre of seals that you are able to feed with fish for purchase. Friendly and helpful staff.

Forrest Mewes 4 months ago

Experiencia positiva: Small but quaint aquarium. The best part is watching the Sea Lions slap thier bellies when you buy food to feed them. A lot of little tanks with local fish and organisms. You can also touch Starfish here too.

Experiencia positiva: Honestly, the tanks all seem very boring/ sad, not a very big place. I'd say the only part that was worth it was feeding the sealions it was very fun. The kids loved that part, but be ready to get splashed!

Experiencia fantástica: We had so much fun feeding the seals! They were so vocal and had super funny antics. We spent hours seeing all the sea creatures and petting the sea cucumbers and sea stars. This octopus was very active and showing off.

Experiencia fantástica: Small aquarium but absolutely worth a visit to feed the seals here! They have great personalities and interact with anyone with the food. We had to go pay for more feed trays because it was so much fun.

Experiencia fantástica: Super little aquarium since 1937 right on the Promenade. We got a family pass so went several times in a week. 11 to 2 busiest. They have personal teaching encouraging kids to touch and learn and picture rubbing and A PENNY MACHINE! Even displays outside. Be sure to feed the seals they expect and slap the water to demand. Great for kids but adults will enjoy also. Hope the are in motion they are spectacular.

Experiencia fantástica: Adorable, small aquarium. Lots to touch, lots to see, and paying a little extra to feed the seals is so much fun. Staff is great, as well! Great place to stop by

K S 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Very tiny, one room aquarium. Many fish looked sick, and tanks were very tiny for the size of fish in them. Seal area was super tiny and full. Wouldn’t recommend bringing a stroller as the paths are so narrow it’s a pain. Staff were all polite though!

Randy Robinson 5 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: The Seaside Aquarium may be small, but it is full of charm, history, and heart. Located right on the beach, this little gem has been part of the community since 1937 and carries that nostalgic seaside magic you just cannot find at bigger attractions. From the moment I walked in, the staff were kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their love for the animals and dedication to educating visitors really shines through. One of the highlights was feeding the sea lions, who are loud, playful, and full of personality. The touch tank was another favorite, where I got to gently interact with sea stars and, yes, sea anemones (those little guys are cooler than they get credit for). The octopuses were putting on a full show, twisting and gliding in their tanks like underwater performers. You also cannot miss the enormous taxidermy lobster it is the kind of oddball attraction that makes the place even more memorable. This aquarium may not be flashy, but it is fun, educational, and family friendly. Supporting places like this helps keep coastal wildlife education alive, and I am glad I stopped in. I will definitely be back next time I am in Seaside.

Experiencia fantástica: On a last minute day trip to Seaside we visited the beach close to the Aquarium. This one is privately owned. We weren't sure what to expect after the one down in the Waldport Area. As you enter the Aquarium building the Seals are right on the left and the gift shop is on the right. The ticket window is directly ahead. It's $11 per Adult and the fish for feeding the seals is $2 extra. We fed the seals first. It's fun to watch them catch the fish as you throw it to them. After washing our hands we walked through the rest of the Aquarium. It's a nice experience to look at all the tanks and displays. The Interactive tidepool style tank is interesting. You can touch the sea life in there. The attendant talks you through what you're touching and has interesting information about them. There's a display table with paper, crayons and metal embossed plates for doing rubbings. You can take the paper rubbings home with you as a souvenir. Overall it was a fun experience. I've posted photos and videos.

Experiencia negativa: I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 because it was enjoyed by some kids, but this acquarium was otherwise rather depressing. I visited on a weekend when it was packed with visitors making the experience cramped and chaotic. The small area designated for feeding seals is fun, but there are so any seals packed into an extremely cramped space and the handwashing station poured cold water making it difficult to adequately clean off the fishy seal food smell from hands. The sea urchin tank was painful as I watched children with unwashed or inadequately washed hands touching the sea urchins, several times in areas other than the spines, what I understood to be the only permitted part for touching. The attendant was keeping a close eye, but toddler hands are freaky fast and there should have been announcements upon the approach of each new child and/or frequent reminders to not touch certain parts versus waiting until those parts were poked by toddler fingers. Each tank/habitat was depressing with little effort in making an aesthetically pleasing habitat. I don't recall seeing aquatic plants, or if there were, twas' insuffcient. I've seen more charming fish tank habitats in chinese restaurants. The octopus exhibit, a small dark exposed pool in the middle of the room, seemed cruel for the octopus. The octopus was so exposed in a crowded and cramped space with screaming children. I felt sad for every creature in this space. Although I observed children enjoying the acquarium, I would not return unless the habitats were more inviting for these creatures. For instance, aquatic plants and a little treasure chest scene would be nicer to look at and fun for kids. I otherwise feel like I am watching these creatures looking out longingly from a jail cell.

Experiencia positiva: Very compact place. The kids loved it. I just felt really bad for the seals in such a small place, but they seem to love controlling the humans and their food. They seem to know how to attract attention for more food, really amazing actually.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible staff and affordable fun. We loved feeding the seals who would gladly do tricks for the treat. The aquarium is clean, easy to navigate, educational, and fun. The interactive tanks were a big highlight. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic local aquarium showcasing local sea life! Knowledgeable and friendly staff who engaged those in attendance from young children to older adults like myself! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Stephanie C 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: I get why people like it but it's really not the best aquarium. The giant octopus is clearly stressed and none of the octopi have anything stimulating in their tanks. The seal situation, I'm not clear how they are happy in such a small tank nor do I see where the "hidden" larger tank is. It is what it is. A tourist spot in a tourist town. You'll spend about 30 min there.

Morgan Jeffrey 5 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Very small aquarium but a very fun touch to your beach adventure! The prices for entry are fair. For 2$ you can buy fish to feed the seals the kids loved it! They have an area to touch starfish and anemones! Very cool giant pacific octopus, eels, large fish and lots more!

Kendra Frogge 5 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: A must when visiting Seaside. We've been coming here for several years. Kids and now grandkids love feeding the seals so I'm glad they hang out in front at the public viewing area instead of staying in their larger pool in the back.

Experiencia positiva: Our family went on a Wednesday around 3pm. It was mildly busy. Here are somethings to know before going: -There is a place to feed seals, food for the seals is 2$, and you may get wet because the seals love to splash. -The aquarium is all one room (minus the entrance which is kind of its own, then in goes into the aquarium room) -There is a little gift shop by the entrance. -There is an art table to make drawings -There is a “hands on” pool where you can touch star fish, sea cucumbers, and more, (no fish or octopuses). I recommend washing your hands afterwards at the front because their water supply is straight from the ocean, so it is not clean. -There is a giant pacific octopus in its own pool, which is cool. I have no down sides for this place, only that it is a little old and it isn’t very big, but it is a very fun place to go.

MollyAnn Callen-Yancey 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: This place is inhumane and should be shut down. The enclosures are not suitable in any way. The seals are in a tiny cement pool that wouldn't be appropriate for a single seal, let alone TEN seals. The tanks for the fish and octopus are not appropriate for the health and well-being of the creatures. I am in disbelief that this place hasn't been shut down. It's feels like an ugly relic of the past. I wish we wouldn't have given our money to this aquarium and it was difficult and heartbreaking to explain to the children after the visit.

Anne Sopke 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: I’m sorry but this was the most depressing experience, I was almost in tears and had to leave. These big beautiful octopuses in these extremely tiny cramped box, there were about 9 seals in a space the size of a bathroom, completely not ethically kept, very large fish just piled on top of each other in small spaces looking depressed, at least one of the tanks was leaking. Just seriously depressed and sad for these beautiful creatures and sad that my money went towards this. I’m surprised at the positive reviews. Please go elsewhere where the wildlife is more ethically kept or find another activity to support.

Teresa Rapp 5 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Cute little local aquarium with lots of PNW fish, starfish, and octopuses! Great visit for a rainy afternoon.

Dylan Baumer 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Extremely sad. The tanks are tiny and have no enrichment for any of the animals. Large and intelligent octopus being kept in tiny cages where there isn’t even a place to hide if they want to. Very strange place overall and definitely not worth it even with the inexpensive ticket prices.

Andrea Getts 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Saddest aquarium I've ever been in. The octopus is probably depressed and all the fish just kinda lay on the bottom of their tanks. The harbor seals are the only redeeming quality but even they make me sad. The history of the building is more interesting than the aquarium :(

Magaly Guardado 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: The conditions at Seaside Aquarium are heartbreaking, especially for the seals. Their enclosure is tiny and they have no enrichment. It feels more like a prison than a habitat. These animals deserve so much better. I wouldn’t recommend visiting until they make serious improvements.

Heidi Hamann 5 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Well worth the stop in. Just a nice little Aquarium and very family friendly. Feeding the seals was entertaining and watching the Octopus move around in her home while the guide gave us lots of info on her was interesting.

Anna Mickelson 5 months ago

Experiencia negativa: in my opinion the tanks are way too small for all the fish that are in them. there’s not a lot to see and everything looks very sad. i wouldn’t continue to pay and support something like this. the newport aquarium is way better!!

B. D. 6 months ago

Experiencia positiva: Teenager untrained on the card machine. Sliding debit cards as slowly as possible so it wouldn't register. That was frustrating. Aside from that, the kids love the seals and they're so cute. Worth it to feed the seals. ‍♀️

Ed Rock 6 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Feeding Spotted Sea Lions was very cute & funny

James Nacke 6 months ago

Experiencia positiva: This place is a must-see, iconic, historic, family friendly, must-visit spot along the Oregon Coast. The aquarium being in this location for as long as it has, with the seals (and of course feeding them) as a loud, enticing, entertaining reason to enter and find out what all the noise is, the smaller individual tanks with a diverse array of Pacific Northwest sea life, the touch pools and interactive, staffed displays . . . if only once, everyone should visit this place, get to touch a starfish or sea anemone, or get splashed by a hungry, demanding seal who's literally patting his/her belly and clapping for their human entertainers.

WM W 6 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: I'm on the fence with this aquarium. I felt a bit sad for some of the sea life tanks, they seemed a bit small for the larger fish, but maybe they're fine, but it felt a little sad to me. I know I'm not the only person who had this vibe there was a gentleman next to me that said these fish seem to be the saddest fish he has ever seen :( The seals seem quite happy however, but of course they are feed all day by the foot traffic!

Sneaker Gamer 6 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: It's small, literally one room of exhibits. it has a couple of touch tanks. Several tanks of interesting sea life and feeding the seals were fun. (But it costs extra) is it worth $11 per adult?? (Less for kids, free for 5 and under) i think so, but i find this stuff cool.

Paul Gerrish 6 months ago

Experiencia positiva: This is a small aquarium featuring various tanks on display and the opportunity to feed seals. It was a fun diversion, and my partner arrived just in time to watch both the octopus demonstration and the seals getting fed the "big fish." We had already fed the seals a small batch of fish, which caused a mild ruckus—but when the big fish came out, it was complete pandemonium, with the seals making an absolute symphony of noises.

Shawna Williams 7 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Way too expensive the only good part is feeding the seals and its so crowded people rush you out of thar area. They should only allow a.certain amount of people per hour so paying customers can patiently enjoy their time with the robbery pruce thwy charge.

Gerod Martin 7 months ago

Experiencia positiva: Really well priced, seal feeding was the best part for sure. Just wish it was a bit bigger!!

Tony H 7 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Seaside Aquarium was a great experience. There were many different types of fish, and the seals were so adorable. There was also a spot where you could touch some sea slugs, starfish, and other non-harmful sea creatures. You could also feed the seals . They have a gift shop to commemorate your visit, where you can buy souvenirs or accessories. I definitely recommend checking it out for yourself. Entrance is only $11.

Brittyn Ables 7 months ago

Experiencia negativa: Please go somewhere else along the coast to see the seals, they are not ethically kept here. I've grown up attending this aquarium as I loved feeding the seals there. However, as I've grown, I've realized that this place is unethical in their treatment of the seals. While they are well fed, their enclosure is just way too small and there are way too many of them in the tanks. They have little to no enrichment, display signs of stress and depression, and just don't deserve any of this. I know this place provides excellent education on the local sea flora and fauna, but the seals are just not okay. They deserve better and should be sent to a facility who can care for them, somewhere with a large enclosure that is more similar to their natural habitat somewhere where they can find at least a little joy in their life before it ends. This is no way to keep such large animals. And even the fish sets up are devoid of life. A lot of the fish are losing scales due to stress and unhealthy habitats. None of the animals here are okay.

Sky 7 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to seaside many times and never went to the aquarium, but finally went today and it was SO MUCH FUN. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the seals are adorable. I hadn't realized, but I have actually seen the seals many times on Tiktok before. This will definitely be a stop on every trip from here on out. If you're in town, definitely stop and feed the seals and look at the fish!

Danielle Cardoso 7 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: Cool experience. We went in the off season of winter and it was a weekday, and close to opening time, so not busy and had so much fun letting the kids run around and look at everything. They loved feeding the animals and getting splashed. I got a pressed Penny to add to my collection. Touch pools were nice. Learning about the history of this place was a bonus. Really a special place.

B C 7 months ago

Experiencia fantástica: The seals were so interactive and would slap their bellies with their fins to get your attention to be fed. The pamphlet tells you the seals names and ages and years born. Seeing all the native fish was very interesting super neat to watch and make eye contact. $11 per adult $6 for the kids !

Adam Angle 8 months ago

Experiencia positiva: Very small aquarium, but we'll enough priced. The seals waiting for snacks are nice to see, and they had better be getting more food than the specks if fish customers are tossing them.

Experiencia fantástica: Nostalgia beyond the word! To say we love this “time stood still” museum is an understatement. We cherish our visits to Seaside as none are complete without saying “hi” to Taylor, Cosmo and Scully! Taylor we thank you for all your incredible wisdom, excitement and pure joy of the job you do. Everytime we see you we get so excited to learn that much more about our sea and the living beings who occupy it. My sweet girl gets so excited when she sees you behind the science desk ready to greet her. Thank you truly as you are what makes for much of our experiences when there, alongside of the charm of the seals and rays. Hands down the best known secret of the Oregon coast!!

Nicole Johnston 8 months ago

Experiencia negativa: This place should be closed down.. The place is to small for what they have. All the fish look depressed and cramped into little 3x3 tanks. Some are even smaller tanks estimated probably 1x2. A quick Google search would show you that eels love to swim and hide in the day. These eels hardly have enough room to stretch out, let alone swim and there's nothing for them to hide in.. . Then you have the 6+seals. Poor things are confined to an area space about the size of a small bedroom with a bathroom attached(it extends a little to the back/left side of where people can see). That's not enough room for 1 seal to play, exercise and swim in, definitely not enough room for 6+.. None of these animals deserve this kind of life. They live in such a poor living conditions. I won't ever support a place like this again. How sad and sickening.. Whatever people can make money off of though right?! Attached is just one of the many small tanks. Some have more lifeless looking fish inside than just these few as shown :( Might I add that none of these tanks have really anything in them big enough like rocks for them to hide or to feel safe in. Looking at pictures from other reviews, it looks like the same eel- in the same spot as the picture I took. He literally hasn't even changed positions. Not cool.. For the people who say this place is great .. Take the rose colored glasses off and look at the bigger picture here. I'm mind blown that anyone would give this any more than one star. I'd give it a negative if I could. I will make the one star worth it by saying that the kids working register were nice. Seaside aquarium owners really need to do something or let them go somewhere where they can flourish.

Experiencia fantástica: We always have a good time at this little aquarium. The first time we came here was on our honeymoon almost 20 years ago and we have been back throughout the years and brought our kids. They love feeding the seals and we like to see what different marine life they have to show. We came once well after the tsunami in Japan and there was a fish all the way from across the Pacific! That was pretty neat. Definitely would recommend if you’re visiting Seaside!

Experiencia positiva: Small but mighty. Didn’t love the tiny pool the otters live in but love they’re dog friendly. Our Great Dane was the biggest attraction that day as he was absolutely tickled meeting all the fish. Worth the $10. Great option to have some fun on a rainy day.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved feeding the seals! The staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Our child enjoyed the touch tanks. They managed to have a lot in a smaller space, maximizing their value. But the seals and their excitement for food is well worth the admission alone. Beware of splashes!

Experiencia fantástica: It's just a beautiful small aquarium. i was in love with the seal. How mad they were? If you don't feed them, you get a good splash of water for ignoring them. It was fun

Experiencia fantástica: You can see local sea creatures, feed seals, and touch star fish and crabs. Very interesting!

Experiencia fantástica: For being relatively small for an aquarium it's a lot of fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can feed the seals. Some of them have different ways of getting you to throw the food to them. One slaps his side, another splashes you and yet another one gets up on a stone in the pool and " barks" at you. You can get one or more portions of food for them, just let the cashier know when you enter. They have a " touch pool" for interaction with some sea creatures. In the exterior, they have a whale skeleton that's pretty awesome. When you are done there is a promenade to walk on with incredible views of the ocean. ( There are very cool, old buildings as well ) !

Experiencia negativa: The seals don't have enough space, both with land and water. The space that the seals have is smaller than my bedroom... The water isn't very deep either, and I don't think these seals are getting much enrichment or satisfaction living here. I don't recommend coming here if seals are the main thing you're wanting to see, while the entry price is low- it shows when you walk in why it's so cheap. The place looks run down and doesn't seem fit to hold an aquarium. The other small creatures they had there was fun to see, I don't know much about them so I don't know if their tanks where too small for them. But I'd believe so. This very well could be a fun and cheap trip for a family, as long as you keep your expectations down. I felt so sad the whole time I was in there, and after I left. It's not very educational, it's just a boardwalk attraction. Save your money and go to a better aquarium or the Oregon Zoo. They also don't have sea lions, just seals.

Experiencia positiva: Hey! IIt was very fun!I went with una the mermaid and some of the fanta-sea cove! I was surprised how small it was but the seals made up for that! There was a fun drawing area for kids which was nice. I hope you guys have fun there. Seals are a blast!

Experiencia positiva: It was fun to feed the seals. They are so playful and comical. Beware you can get wet. The rest was informative and cute. But the big draw is the seals.

Experiencia fantástica: amazing, i basically feel at home at this place and it’s so cool, definitely go to the gift shop it’s really cheap and i’m wearing jewelry from there right now as i’m typing this. It’s a 2 room place for the fishes one include the seals that you can feed with their food for 2 bucks and another place with a touch tank for adults and kids, fishes with descriptions, many nice facts.

Experiencia fantástica: Super cute place to bring your kids, I have a 5 yr old and she loved it. Really cheap entry fee small children get in for free, yes the place is small but it packs a punch for how small it is. It had two small touch pools with lots of little critters you can touch, and the guy by the touch pools was very nice and informative. Personally the highlight of the place for me was the seals, let me tell you these seals were absolutely hilarious. You can get $2 trays of sardines to feed them. The seals do funny things to attract your attention, so be of them kept slapping his stomach to get your attention which made me lmao and if you didn’t feed him fast enough he would splash you

Experiencia positiva: Small, dark little aquarium. Spent years going to Seaside, but had never been to the aquarium. Basically, one room with in wall tanks around the perimeter and a few displays in the middle. They have a tank to feed seals in the front. That one is not really wheelchair friendly. A wheelchair can access the rest of the displays. The place could use some updating.

Experiencia positiva: This is a small 2 room aquarium with interesting specimens. They have 2 tanks where kids (and adults too) can touch and hold a variety of crabs, anemones, starfish, sea cucumbers, shark eggs and more. Other tanks have fish and eels and a variety of other sea creatures. We also bought fish and were able to feed the coastal seals. Pets are welcome, so we were able to bring our small dog along. I would highly recommend visiting this aquarium.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t see how this place gets good reviews. The tanks are small and dirty. No source of enrichment, no places to hide or move around. This aquarium needs to be either completely remodeled or shut down and have the animals moved to another aquarium that can provide a better environment.

Experiencia positiva: This is a small no frills aquarium but the the price of admission is low and it’s well worth it just to see the seals and the octopus . Two dollars will buy you a small tray of fish pieces which the seals will love. The octopus is simply mesmerizing and there are plenty of small tanks with other sealift in them too. It’s a great place to visit on a rainy day.

Experiencia negativa: It’s a very small and tight Aquarium. There is a lot of information about the species they have either in there or off the Oregon coast. My only complaint is i think they need to do a complete overhaul and add a lot bigger tanks for the fish and seals, I know that’s easier said than done, but the eels, octopus, flounders, rays, the sharks they have and rock fish were all crammed in small tanks that that were full. Little to no sand were in the tanks, no cover and not much room for them to swim around.
