Experiencia fantástica: I thought this would be a small aquarium but this is actually a decent sized city aquarium for being in the middle of an entertainment plaza. There were some big fish and big stingrays and lots of tropical fish but don't forget the axolotl exhibit and touch tanks. My family and I enjoyed it a lot.

Experiencia positiva: Beautiful aquarium and unique experience! Was not overly crowded and was packed with exotic wildlife. Easily a must do if you find yourself in Orlando, although I was not happy with how some of the animals were kept. (They had baby axolotls kept in a plastic container the size of a small laundry basket.) But they were cute! Thanks, SEA LIFE!

Experiencia fantástica: Cute, plenty of parking. Kept the kids and the wife entertained. I've been to 50+ aquariums in the USA including Bermuda. I found it to be overpriced at $40 a head. We paid online 2 days in advance. It took an hr to thoroughly walk and view all the specimen.

Experiencia negativa: To me, it's not worth the price per person if you live it of state. It takes max 1 hrs to go through. There were 11 of us and 3 were kids and it took less than an hour to go through. My husband and I are aquarium enthusiasts and will not go back.

Experiencia positiva: The aquarium is designed for little kids which was good for our 3 yo son. It is small and not very diversified in terms of sea life, so the price is on the expensive side compared to the value you get. The pictures are pretty expensive for the effort and material put in them, and the digital version of the pictures is not cheap at all. Recommandations: make one picture free of charge as it's already printed the time you're out even if you don't buy it. Then charge for any additional ones. This will give a sense of good value for the money spent

Experiencia fantástica: I was at a conference in Orlando and some friends came up to spend some time with me so we went to the aquarium and then to lunch. It was the perfect afternoon. The jelly fish, seahorses, and sharks were definitely some of my favorite parts. The aquarium was an awesome way to spend our time together. It went pretty quick too so a great thing to do if you are short on time.

Experiencia positiva: We went as a family and it was a sort of introduction for my children to see up close what they from time to time only read about. The visit was an incredible success, they love and enjoyed it plenty. The staff seemed to have been sprinkled about the aquarium and were very helpful when questioned. The presentation, variety and volume of fishes were pleasing.

Experiencia positiva: I took my 6 year old for a birthday reward. We went today on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy. The exhibits were fairly nice and the staff was friendly enough. I will say the cost seemed a bit high for something that was over very quickly. We paid $120 for 3 of us and went through twice and still only spent about an hour. The touch tank was also a bit disappointing bc it had very few items and it was too cold to touch for long.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to the Sealife Aquarium on a day trip from home to Orlando. The aquarium itself is amazing and worth the visit, but if you can spend the extra $10 for the behind the scenes tour, it’s so worth it, Emma was awesome and super informative and you get to feed some of the fish. Definitely worth the money and time, plan to be back with the baby.

Experiencia fantástica: My 9 year old grandson and I had a wonderful time. We went on a low arrendence day, with never more than say 10 people in one room at a time. We were able to really take our time, look for the hard to find specimens, read the info on ones we weren't familiar with. No rush or sense of urgency to move on for others, no crowds, or loud groups. The staff was friendly, numerous, eager to point out hard to find specimens, tell us the names that were given to the turtles, sharks, etc. Explained why one turtle floated bottom up. I was nervous of crowds given summer has started for central fl schools but it was great!

Experiencia fantástica: Wasn't expecting much but this wound up being an exceptional aquarium. Lots of cool photo spots, beautiful aquariums and interesting fish. There were no kids in our group and it kept us all entertained for nearly two hours.

Experiencia positiva: It was definitely a beautiful set up, but prices are really high for the things that they have. I know it's a tourist spot but I think they would attract more people by bringing the price down a bit. We enjoyed it tho.

Experiencia positiva: Our three kids enjoyed the aquarium. They love d the variety and the interactive aspects like the Pick a shark display, the stamp books, and the touch tanks. It was very self lead, which was very nice, but having a few more engaging moments for kids would be nice. They enjoyed the table with the sea turtle shell and touching the anemones. We added on the virtual reality show with the sharks, which was really cool, but the room was quite stuffy and warm. We will surely come again!

Experiencia positiva: Great for the kids but it’s a little overpriced as it is a smaller Aquarium and doesn’t take very long to get thru. If you’re having trouble finding a dedicated parking lot don’t feel bad, There is a parking garage but it’s has no signs indicating its for Sea life and is not located near it. If you drive a truck or larger suv you aren’t gonna fit (7ft limit) there is also minimal parking by the “eye” out back. Sea life is basically part of a permanent fair ground and is connected to an arcade, a wax museum, as well as the “Orlando Eye” (pretty big Ferris wheel)

Experiencia positiva: Great for kids. Adults might get bored. Seemed to be that we were walking around one main tank just from different angles and a few small tanks on the sides. There was a very sick fish that really should’ve been taken off of exhibit. The price isn’t worth it honestly. It took 30 minutes to completely walk through even with stopping at every tank

Experiencia positiva: Brought our son here for his birthday, he enjoyed the fish and all the lights. I will admit however for the price it wasn’t really worth it. We walked through and it only took us about 20 minutes to a half hour. The surrounding area of the aquarium is nice lots of attractions, Ferris wheel, carousel, restaurants, arcade and shopping centers. It was a nice walk around and time spent outdoors.

Experiencia positiva: It’s a pretty small aquarium located inside the ICON park. If you buy ticket from their website it’s $5 cheaper than if you purchase it from the front window - however you will get a time slot on when you have to come in. I was lucky to go in even after being 10mins late, but heard some stories that some people are rejected to come in. I guess it’s all depends on if they’re busy or not. Other than that, the fishes are not very interesting, but they do have an interactive section where you are able to touch living sea creatures with your barehand in the end of it.

Definitely worth going to and it's easy to get through in less than 2 hours. Plus, you might get to see a surprise mermaid! Try to buy your tickets online though as they have online only discounts!

Mermaids in tanks were cool but didn’t come to our window like the others. Beautiful. Displays are fantastic. Cool touch tank. Small in size - doesn’t take long to visit. Nice interactive stations and photo op places. Gets really crowded in there and tooo dang hot!!! Need to crank up some AC. You can skip the entry photo. No pressure there.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was a lot bigger and had so much more sea life than I expected. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. It was very colorful. The sea turtle, the axolotol, and the sea horses were my favorite. It was also pretty cool to sea the sting rays glide around in the water. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my elderly parents twice, once on a normal day and once for the mermaids. They were completely enthralled! They loved all the colors and thematic rooms and decorations- they enjoyed the simple path to follow and loved looking at all the residents of different shapes and sizes. They also saw the 3D movie of Rays and Africa and thought it was incredible technology. They also thought all the staff that reached out to them and showed them various items from the ocean were friendly and courteous. They spent THREE HOURS completely captivated by the ocean and all it's wonders they were very happy.

Experiencia positiva: Fun aquarium for kids, but the "normal" price point of $40 is too much. It's too small for that price There is a cool "mermaid" show that happens in the large central tank. We got in at a significantly discounted price due to our membership at a zoo elsewhere in the country, and their network got us the admission discount. If you can get in for $25 or less per adult, I'd say it's worth it. Otherwise no.

This location had more tanks of aquariums that I've ever seen before and in really unique styles. Overall it was a really great time and we loved it. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Orlando

Experiencia positiva: The aquarium is small, but they packed a lot in. Unfortunately, we were there with a really large group of 2nd graders, so it was a little chaotic. The kids still enjoyed it, especially the baby axolotls.
Experiencia fantástica: This is an awesome aquarium. Unfortunately, there were several schools on field trips the day we went, so it was not as pleasant as it could have been. Too many kids, uncontrolled and screaming. But, that is not the fault of the aquarium. There is a lot to see here. Definitely recommend...but come on a day when there are less kids.

Experiencia fantástica: Wish it was bigger but overall it was a nice spot to check out. I live aquariums and watching the sea life the area in filled with other thing to do as well as food. So it make for a good spot with tons to do around it. You can buy tix there or in advance but there was no wait when I went. It was a little crowded inside but its expected.

Experiencia fantástica: It's a decent aquarium. Lots of pretty fish to see. There's an educational aspect as well. I liked the pamphlet you can stamp around the exhibits. It made me feel better about paying the price of admission when I learned about the sea turtle and soft shell turtle who were disabled and living there it made me happy they are able to live there since they can't live in the wild anymore.

Experiencia positiva: This isn't the best aquarium in the world but it's still fun. Their jellyfish display is the highlight. The free picture thing is a bit of a scam. You do get a free digital picture but you have to dig through a website to find it. A print will cost you $37. They print them out and show them to you at the end and if you don't want them they go right in the trash . Can you even imagine how many pictures they must throw away in a day?! Conservation my ass. Do better aquarium. The baby seahorses are adorable be sure to check that out.

Experiencia positiva: No wait in line, so that was nice. I do recommend getting your tickets beforehand. And it was fun for our 1 year old and they loved it, which we are super happy with and it was the main reason we went. However, I feel a little ripped off by how expensive the tickets are. $85 for two adults?? And not to mention how they pushed to have us take a picture and not tell us until the end of the tour that we needed to pay at LEAST another $35 dollars to receive them.(it was actually more $ if we wanted all of them that they offered. The aquarium itself was great for our 1 year old, but my husband and I felt underwhelmed to say the least by how short it was, and how little we actually got to see. Very small selection of fish, and just not as exciting as we were hoping. The touch tank was cool, but not friendly for 1 year old as the water was ICE COLD. I didn't even try to let her touch any after putting my own hand in first.

Experiencia positiva: This place was nice, and i enjoyed it, but to be honest, i really dont think the price is worth it if you have a large group like we did. We only went to see the octopus but it wasn't there. We went through the entire thing in less than 30 min, and it only took that long because there were a lot of people. I expected to see a lot of sharks or a dolphin, but sadly not.

Experiencia positiva: Small aquarium for the price. For a family of a six it was a bit over $200 and it took us less than an hour to walk through the aquarium. They did have a booklet that younger kids can fill out to earn a certificate to save turtles which my kids enjoyed.

Experiencia positiva: It’s a nice time to spend a hour out of your day here. Don’t worry about buying a ticket ahead you had to wait in the same line as everyone. The behind the scenes was very cool but for a younger child it would lose their attention. And to me wasn’t with the extra money. The aquarium itself is very cool and clean. The tunnel, and the the little areas to be submerged in the tanks were pretty great.

Experiencia positiva: This aquarium is cool, but it's nothing that special. The touch tank at the end is the coolest part, but overall, this place is quite expensive for how small it is. It's a good place to go if you're in the area, but it's not that great as a standalone experience. As far as aquariums go, this is just OK, I wasn't blown away by anything in particular.

Experiencia negativa: I expected something better. Maybe a section of sharks and / or big octopuses. I don't know ... $35 per person + 3 digital pictures. We came on a Monday and it was so crowded. Children under 3 are free. We will not come back.

We genuinely strive to create memorable experiences for all our guests, and it’s disheartening to know we fell short during your time with us. I completely understand how important it is to see a variety of marine life. We do have a smaller giant Pacific Octopus in her own habitat in the Shark Shipwreck section. She is still fairly young (they only live for up to 5 years) and is still getting used to things. This means that she will hide in corners or in pots a lot of the time. You can always ask an education host if they can help to point her out. Our sharks are of smaller varieties due to the amount of space in the larger habitats. Our current sharks include blacktip, zebra, epaulette, bamboo, bonnethead, and we also have a large shovelnose guitarfish who hangs out on the bottom of the Atlantic habitat a lot. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us as we continuously look for ways to improve and expand our exhibits. I also understand that the crowd can be overwhelming, especially on rainy days and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We are actively working on managing visitor flow to ensure a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you once again for your feedback. Experiencia positiva: The aquarium was a little smaller than I was expecting based on the description. It is definitely geared to family with younger children though we did learn more than we thought we would. The only issue, which is not the aquariums fault but should be noted is that there are multiple spots where people try to get you to watch video for timeshares outside the building. We were approached at least a half dozen times.

Experiencia fantástica: Our whole family loved this experience! My 1 year old was delighted by all the close encounters, including windows at his height. My 5 and 6 year olds couldn't get enough of the sharks, turtles, rays, and eels. We spent the whole day at Icon Park and did all sorts of activities, but this was their favorite. Our whole evening was spent googling different types of sea creatures that they encountered at Sea Life. My favorite: Shovelnose Guitar Fish. We visited on a Friday at 11 and it wasn't busy, we took our time and loved every second of it.

Experiencia positiva: It was a fun experience for me, my parents, and my brother. You can pet anemones, but it's in freezing cold water. It's probably because they have to survive there. They also have a section to see axolotls. They have babies, juveniles, and adults. All of them are the grayish black color. They have a hammerhead shark and a sea turtle. Sea life is a little too crowded for me so that's why I dropped a star. I would prefer it if there were limited tickets per day (5 families a day) overall it's a cool thing to experience in Orlando when your on a trip.

Experiencia positiva: This was a nice experience for both adults and kids. I love how they have little areas to go in/under that makes you feel like you are in the tanks with the fish. They have a hands-on exhibit where you can touch the different starfish. The setup here is really nice, and there are plenty of photo ops throughout the aquarium.

Experiencia positiva: I traveled to Orlando for a convention and had some extra time. The aquarium was walkable from my hotel. Bought tickets there with no line. It was a nice experience, great for kids. It has a 360 degree room and tunnel. I recommend if you’re in time or local.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in evening on long weekend. Impressive facility. Staff were kind but seemed to have less knowledge of the sealife on display than we expected having visited other aquariums. In a very busy section of Orlando with some of the wildest traffic I have experienced in North America, suggest taxi or public transit options.

Experiencia positiva: It’s a small aquarium and is set up like a walk through. I loved all the creatures and the touch tank was very cool. Very informative as well, lots of interactive things for kids to have fun and learn at the same time. I also saw a shark poop for the first time RIGHT over me. Loved it all the way up until the end. The photos. They got me. I like i had to BUY something. I don’t think i had to. I didn’t want the photo because it came out ugly (it was a photo of my party at the beginning). But alas, i bought something and i was left alone. don’t do what i did… just say no if you don’t want it.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a 10/10 disappiontment!! My husband spent $62 for a 15 min walk through. The website says it should take about 2 hours and we saw everything in 15 minutes!! We saw zero sharks even though the website advertised them. The sea turtle exhibit was lacks, we saw a total of 5 turtles. We wish we could get our money back. The place is supposed to be 25,000 sq ft but it felt more like 1,800 square ft. We do not recommend going here, save the money and do something else!, like watch paint dry!
Hi Breanne, I'm truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. It sounds like we really missed the mark during your visit, and I can understand how frustrating that must have been for you and your husband. We strive to provide an engaging and memorable experience for all our guests, and it's clear that we fell short in your case. Our average visits are 45 minutes to an hour, but many do spend much longer learning about our animals and speaking with our educators. We currently have blacktip and zebra sharks in the Atlantic habitat, bonnethead sharks in the Pacific, and epaulette and bamboo sharks in a few habitats. Most of ours are carpet sharks which like to relax on the bottom of the habitats. Only our blacktips need to keep swimming. Our larger turtles are Chely (green sea turtle) and Monty (Kemps-Ridley) who are in the Atlantic and Ted the Loggerhead in the Indian Ocean habitat. Other turtles are smaller such as our softshell turtle Darcy and some other local Florida turtles in the Everglades habitat. The main habitats currently hold in excess of 295,000 gallons. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we'll be looking into the issues you mentioned, especially regarding the time it takes to explore and the exhibits you were expecting to see. Experiencia fantástica: It's definitely a nice aquarium, with a wide variety of sea life. We have a zoo annual pass and so we get 50% off admission. At that price it's worth it. It wasn't very busy which was really nice for pictures and the experience.

Experiencia positiva: It was pretty awesome! Family of 5 enjoyed it. The only bad part was we sat in the virtual reality section and sat for 20 minutes past the time we were supposed to be called when asking employee taking photos she said they will come get us well they never did we sat for 20 minutes and nobody came and we didn't, get any updates on when we would be called that would have been nice considering we spent 45 dollars to do it.. We ended up leaving to eat lunch instead. Gift shop is cool and photo option is cool.

Experiencia fantástica: Sea Life is great for young children but I have to say as 2 adults in our 60s, we loved it. Lots of different fish and marine life. Walking under the tank, taking pictures in the tank - eels, rays, sharks, lion fish, snappers, turtles! Plenty to see.
