Experiencia positiva: Very unique. Enjoy the aquarium, zoo, food, and other attractions. Not a bad price. Took us 5 or so hours to see everything. Depends on when you go how crowded it is. Spaced well and plenty of places to stop to grab a snack along the way. Animals did have enrichment and looked cared for- however some habitats need updated/bigger spaces etc. Would love to see them get AZA accredited.

Experiencia positiva: The animals are cool and this place is very well kept. Nice restaurant. A little bit pricey but the zoo is large. My only question is what protection are you providing for the animals in over 100 degree weather? Every time I drive by I see animals trying to get some short of shade that wasn’t provided to them and it makes me really uncomfortable to see. I feel bad.

Experiencia fantástica: It was fun until I got pooped on by a bird. Apparently, that's a sign of good luck. But, I don't think it is all that lucky. I liked going through to see all the animals and wildlife they had at the zoo. I love animals and people who enjoy seeing animals. I would definitely recommend coming to the wildlife world zoo and Aquarium. Just be careful about going in the summer it's too hot here in Arizona. But, if you decide to go in the summertime I would recommend bringing some water bottles and some sunscreen.

Experiencia positiva: Lots of animals to see. There were scooters to rent. There was enough shade to give some relief from the sun. The zoo was set up to have a decent flow to see all the animals as you move through. The animals seemed active and many of them were eating food while we saw them. It was a bit hot but the indoor exhibits gave us some cool relief. Overall we had fun looking at all the different animals.

Experiencia positiva: Went during a weekday it was surprisingly fun! Nice staff, animals looked well, and though some of the animal enclosures were small, it was obvious that they rotate enclosures, keeping the animals interested. Since it was in the "off-season" some of the eateries weren't open, but there were a couple of choices. Great for kids of all ages, but be prepared to walk. Scooters and other mobility aids are available.

Experiencia positiva: We love coming here, the park is clean and the staff seem friendly. There’s been time the park rides are closed and it sucks when you come for and pay for the full experience and there’s rides you can’t do, for whatever reason. Overall it is a really enjoyable experience.

This place also has a pretty good amount of shade if you need to take a break, rent one of those scooters, that is a game changer. Also, the restrooms were clean, and Dillons restaurant was really good. This is a good family spot overall. I highly recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: Enjoyed the day at the zoo yesterday, lots to see. Great additions since I have been there. Appreciated the train and tram tours, saw lots of beautiful animals, in their natural habitats. The aquariums are nice variety of things to see and good place to get out of heat.

Experiencia fantástica: Went early may and had a great time. The park makes you feel so much closer to the animals than other zoos, the animals were all active mid morning (80-85 degrees). Make sure you bring some water and good walking shoes, we walked over 6 miles.

Experiencia positiva: I have been here a few times, even before they made a name for themselves. They are making a lot of good improvements for some of the animals. Others though are lacking. The water in the pond areas (monkeys, flamingos, etc) is nasty green. A filter system would be good. The prices are fairly high. 52 to get in them 4 bucks for a bottle water. Does Disney own this place? All the rides where closed. But those are more money too, so I didn't really care.

Experiencia positiva: They have a lot of different animals and it was a good overall experience. The safari ride was a hit with the grandson. It’s right next to the freeway which is weird but you only see and hear that in the way back. Loved the baby giraffes and feeding the giraffes. Loved the mearcats. So here’s my one gripe…. I have a knee injury. We went because they rent wheelchairs. What they don’t say is that the pathways are all sand. My grandson (16) really struggled pushing the wheelchair. So much so that we gave up and rented the motorized animal scooter (see photo). That cost $42 on top of the $20 I paid for the wheelchair.

Experiencia negativa: 4% service fee if you use a credit card. My comment to the lady at the ticket window was “that’s criminal” and she gave a list of reasons that don’t actually justify the service fee. Do not let this zoo fool you for a second. This is a breeding zoo. They exploit animal breeding and then turn around and price gouge the public. It’s insanity. This is a money hungry establishment. The money does not go to the animals. Have you seen their physical appearance? All these animals look sick and unhealthy!!! Its pathetic.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my daughter for her birthday. It has been years since I've been there. They have expanded quite a bit. It is still the BEST place to actually see animals up close. It's definitely the best zoo and aquarium I have ever been to.

Experiencia fantástica: We went at 10am and never saw so many active monkeys. I also enjoyed the giraffe stand where you can feed them by hand. Recommend going, wish prices were more manageable so we could do an annual pass.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful animals, clean and friendly staff. Animals roaming free enclosures. Some animals in cages. So many birds and primates. Many new enclosures. Train, tram, flume, zip line, sky tram and ride ons to get you around the zoo. Aquarium with touch pool, otters and seals. Just a great time.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great time with my niece and nephew. Plenty of shade, you can bring in your own water bottles and snacks. Park is pretty big, they had a good variety of animals to see. Loved the Kangaroo walkabout, can get pretty close to them, just don't touch. I think I had more fun than the kids. There was part of the zoo we didn't see, will be going back for sure.

Experiencia negativa: This zoo is okay. The enclosures are too small for a large majority of these animals and a lot of them aren't taken care of properly. For example, their Russian Tortoise's beak is overgrown and needs to be taken care of - he or she looked so sad. There is a large monitor lizard housed with a leopard tortoise in an enclosure that is too small - these two looked miserable. They're supposed to have one of the largest collections of exotic animals which might be accurate due to the small enclosures. I would even say the big cat enclosures were also small. The leopards looked irritable. The two tigers did as well. The birds and small monkeys also looked both irritated and sad. Some of the food / snack stands looked like they have been abandoned for some time. I think the best part here is being able to feed the giraffes and the pizza at Slice is pretty damn good. The staff is also friendly. We actually ended up leaving this zoo to go to 'Out of Africa', which seems to take better care of their animals.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great to visit all week! This place is open all week and closes at 7:30 everyday. Here you can see animals that you never knew existed! Not only you can see them but also learn about them. In both the zoo and aquarium parts there’s (a) place(s) to pet and interact with the creatures! To conclude, if you’re interested in wildlife then this is the place for you!

Experiencia fantástica: So fun! The kids love it, the parents love it, it's just a great place to go. The variety of animals you can see here are just spectacular. The aquarium is my favorite, and my daughter loved the touch tanks there. The giraffes were fun to feed, the animals were pretty active when we were there in April, and the rides are all a super fun addition! The shows are all great too! Overall, a really really fun place to go. I highly recommend it to people!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a blast here! Staff were friendly and advertised show times for animal attractions. We even saw a monkey handler check in on a guest who was clearly not feeling well. The park itself was very clean and the snacks while slightly pricey were good too! Our toddler can't wait to go back!

Experiencia positiva: Easter Sunday. I'm not sure if prices have increased like everything else in this world, but $52 for an adult seems excessive. After receiving a veteran discount it was still $92 for 2 adults. Is it me, or is that still steep? And then walking through the zoo they charge you per ride and "nickel and dime" you anywhere else they can. For my first time there I rate this place and my experience a respective 3 stars. I won't be going back.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed. Very high entrance fees. Animals appear lethargic and possibly ill. All of the water pools I saw available to animals were green and stagnant. No fresh water. Lots of feces in animal enclosures. Many of the food and drink stands were closed. It was more sad than enjoyable. I wonder if it's gone downhill since the illness and passing of the devoted owner I read about.

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoy going there just to walk around, there is lots of shade. If you live close a seasons pass is worth it just to use the zoo as a park. The tram ride is worth trying once too for photography and education during the tour.

Experiencia fantástica: I went with my son on his school field trip and it was such a blast we had so much fun for our first time every were you went there was something to see or do. The animals were looked after well and active. It was truly a great experience to have with my son. The monkeys were my favorite part.

Experiencia positiva: It was a great experience! Lots of animals and things to do! Personally, I believe it's fairly priced, considering some of the attractions cost extra. They did an Easter egg hunt in the playground, which all the kids were beyond ecstatic to participate in. The giraffe feeding was awesome! The little petting goats by the playground were great! Although the aquarium is a great and exciting experience for the kids, this was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The gentleman at the interactive touch pod area (around 4/430) was not paying attention due to the fact that he was wearing headphones. I tried getting his attention, my kids were trying to ask questions, and my wife didn't give up and stood directly in front of him waving at him in whuch (it appeared as if) he was ignoring her. He finally came over with an annoyed look. My wife asked for my kids what a certain species was, and he responded that it was a starfish very annoyed and, under his breath, said they're all starfish. My wife pointed at the "unique sea cucumber" and said this long species is a starfish?! To which he then responded, still seemingly annoyed, "NO, that's a sea cucumber," and then just sat back down. He walked away as if we had left, though we remained there for a few minutes after, and sat down listening to whatever he was listening to in his headphones.

Experiencia fantástica: She has a lovely time. Is a kids / toddler friendly. Feeding the giraffes and other animals was her favorite activity so make sure you bring quarters with you!

Experiencia fantástica: My Husband and I visited just a couple of days ago. We absolutely loved it! Fed Giraffes, coy fish, Stingrays, watched the sea lion show, and just had an absolute blast! We spent 5 hours just having a grand time. One thing that particularly stands out to us though is one particular staff member who worked in the gift store at the entrance where they have the aquarium themed items. Kimson was the superhero we needed. My Husband, and I lost service while there and being from across the country we were stressing a bit to be able to get an Uber. Kimson allowed us to use her phone to be able to get an Uber back. Checking in with us, giving us updates, and allowing us to be able to relax, and not worry about getting back to our airbnb. While we waited we watched how she interacted with other visitors, and was just such a genuine, kind, hardworking person. From the bottom of our hearts, we are thankful for the wonderful team player you have.

Experiencia fantástica: Best zoo ever! I've lived in Northern Arizona for 28 years and had never visited. I was so impressed! The animals have great natural habitats, and they have SO many animals, aquarium life, reptiles, etc, to see! Great use of space, clean and friendly team members! I'll definitely be returning!

Experiencia fantástica: You can easily spend an entire day here. 5 of us were visiting and enjoyed all that we saw in both zoo and aquarium. As avid photographers we needed an entire day and missed out on seeing all the exhibits and animals.

Experiencia positiva: We visited this zoo recently and were honestly disappointed, especially when comparing it to the Phoenix Zoo. General admission for adults is a steep $52, and nearly every activity inside — from rides to small experiences — costs an additional $6 per person. By the time you do a couple of rides or experiences, you’re easily spending $100+ per person. Most of the animals were sleeping during our visit, which made the experience feel even more limited. Another downside: there weren’t enough cold water refill stations, which is a big miss on a hot day — especially for families with kids. That said, the sea lion show was a highlight and really well done. It was fun, engaging, and probably the best part of the visit. Overall, it’s not worth the high price tag in my opinion. Phoenix Zoo offers a better experience at a more reasonable price.

Experiencia positiva: Tons of great animals to see especially if you like monkeys and birds. The big cats are awesome especially the jaguars. It really depends on how active the animals are. Dirt paths everywhere so be prepared. Some of the rides may or may not be available. Several food spots are also closed down as of our last 2 visits in 2025. Great time for families!

More animals to see here plus an aquarium with penguins and awesome giraffes, camels, tram rides, an overhead sky ride(extra charge of course but nice asset over the PHX Zoo) & I was able to even touch and feel the anemones and star fish as well as feed the giraffes. Totally felt great to get well over my money's worth here as opposed to the empty displays or highly anxiety ridden animals at the PHX Zoo. Food was reasonably priced & employees were waayyy nicer and more helpful here so avoid that mess on Galvin Pkwy & have a better cheaper time here.

Experiencia positiva: We do love this zoo! It’s beautiful and a great place to visit with your wild and free kiddos. Definitely go on non busy days if you want to experience the whole zoo, it’s big! We had a season pass (Jul 2021-22) and just renewed this December 2022. Since then the price has gone up significantly! Ouch. Also make sure to bring your lunch and snacks so you don’t end up forking out over 50 bucks for a small meal that barely feeds the family. My kids love spending half a day here and we all have lots of fun. We love the rides and activities. The staff is very kind and helpful! Definitely appreciate them and I recommend this zoo!

The park itself is beautiful with all of its lush greenery and offers a large variety of animals to see. So many baby animals too! It was a delight. I look forward to going again. They offer AAA and military discounts, so that makes it more affordable too.

Experiencia positiva: Map was useless as it is very difficult to match your location on the map. A few posted maps but absolutely no directional signs i.e. Giraffes this way or Th8s Way to Slice. Lots and lots of bird exhibits. Over priced food i.e. 16 ounce Icee was 6.99 while at Sam's Club only 99 cents.

Experiencia negativa: Came for a visit today. It's been 3 years since we've been here. I'm embarrassed for this company!! This is ridiculous, you charge how much to get in and you can't even keep your facilities clean!? Bathrooms were in a disarray, out of the few that we went into, one stall broken for the two that were eh, okay, no toilet paper in several, pee all over the floors. In the indoor exhibits as well as walk ways, trash and dirt all over. "Kids" working the areas, who weren't even paying attention to anything going on. In the petting area they had a wheelbarrow with a mixture of hay and crap from the goats, left out for little kids to dig into I guess trying to feed the animals, why is stuff left out with no one around if this is a kid area?. There really needs to be better attendants. There's no way I would even suggest this to out of town people to come to. This is an embarrassment for AZ!

I am so glad we got the rydable otherwise we may have missed a lot of the animals in the expansion. The lions were being friendly today so that was interesting. I love the aquarium as well so many things to see. It's more than a day to truly enjoy the whole experience. I do recommend taking cash as credit card purchases are subject to an additional 4 percent charge. You can also get a coupon online for a discount at entrance.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this zoo. Animals are typically more active than at the Phoenix zoo, and the enclosures are set up for easy viewing. White tigers, black jaguars, huge crocodiles and anacondas, penguins, there is a huge variety of wildlife. The animal nursery is a must see; last time we went (a few years ago) we were able to see a black Jaguar cub. The kangaroo walk is awesome, allowing you to get up close and personal with the animals. Plenty of baby animals in the spring. Every time we visit, it gets a little better. The sea lion show is great, letting you see a bit of the personality of the sea lions involved. The KC BBQ restaurant has good food and scenic views of flamingos and an albino alligator. Hands down one of the best zoo experiences you can have in Arizona.

Experiencia fantástica: Such an amazing trip! Rides, animals, ride on scooters, gift shops, experiences, and food. This place was so much fun. Just a tip, make sure to download the Rydables app before going so you can just scan and ride. The rides are extra per person so make sure to bring extra funds for that. We booked the sea lion experience, and it was 100% worth it. The trainers were so insightful, friendly, and experienced. All the animals look like they are cared for, and they seem to be living the life here! I will recommend this place to everyone that I know who is going to Arizona. Please come visit this place and support the zoo!

Experiencia fantástica: What a great spot.. Have enjoyed watching it grow through the years. New enclosures built for the Lions and Tigers. Aquarium and Seal show are a good change of pace. Great especially to break up summer heat. We loved the thrill of the log ride but it felt like we were thrown into a pool with how wet you get. Great snack options and Dillons BBQ (that you can access from inside the aquarium area) is always a great way to cap the day.

Experiencia positiva: My family and I love the zoo. We also love the animals. A couple things I will speak upon is the insane price to enter the zoo I do not recommend coming to the zoo unless you have a discount of some kind also all of the rides inside of the zoo are actually priced very fair although it is just the entry price that is accelerated. Every other aspect was absolutely enjoyable due to the amount of shade that the wildlife zoo offers! Last but not least the animal Riders the zoo rideable battery operated animals that the kids and family members get to ride around are an absolute headache to attempt to pay for and rent. Instead of being able to pay for them with cash or card at the time of at the location instead you must download the app and do everything electronically as we all know cell phones some days do not want to work and this made our attempt to do this very difficult. I understand that is most likely a subcontracted company although the zoo should speak with them on making that more user-friendly they surely must lose a lot of business that way.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I visited on a Thursday afternoon. We started out with lunch at the cafe. Salad was good and fresh and my husband had a pizza which looked ok. Good for a quick kids meal there and nothing fancy. For the zoo we were surprised how big the place is. The area for the animals are pretty basic and some were small but there sure were a lot of animals! More birds and monkeys than I’ve seen. The howler monkeys even had babies and they were still hanging on to their mothers. There were many larger animals too and those places for them are huge! The entire place was so big we didn’t get to see it all. I do recommend a visit for sure. There is also nice looking larger restaurant and bar that we didn’t go to but maybe next time. Oh, and if you don’t want to walk so much there are little scooters you can sit and ride around on that are all dressed like animals. Fun!

Experiencia positiva: This is awesome place. They have quite a few new babies. The only grievance I have is trying to find a place to charge my mobility scooter. The guy and the tram ride was awesome and let me plug into his extension cord and saved me from being stranded.

You can see the animals really close, there are many other attractions, you can feed the giraffes, ride on a train and tram and there's a lift, AND they have a ray touch station. I mean, for the money it's phenomenal. If you get there early enough there's very little crowd. Also there's food/snack options every corner (but it's VERY PRICEY); there are also plenty of bathrooms. This place was just so well thought through.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice zoo! You can feed the goats, ducks, giraffes and parrots. Everything was very clean and easy to find. The food prices were high but food was decent. They have a park for kids to play right near the entrance and two gift shops.

All the animals looked very well taken care of and the enclosure were very clean with lots of trees and grasses. I like the fact the walking path was dirt and not hot black concrete. We enjoyed this zoo much more than Phoenix Zoo.

Experiencia fantástica: Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is a very nice place to spend the day watching a wide variety of animals fron all over the world. I highly recommend it and would plan on spending at least 5 hours there in order to see all the different animals.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had an amazing time walking around the entire park. We did not do the aquarium. We were there from 1030 am to 4 pm and were able to see all the animals. The zip line ride was worth the additional $10. The animals seem happy and well taken care of. There were quite a few baby monkeys at the time of our visit.

It’s so cool to have one location with an aquarium, zoo and safari park… plus roller coaster rides all in one place! I did the zipline and the roller coaster and it was so fun! My toddler loved it. Experiencia positiva: Good variety of animals, it was cool to feed the lorikeets, 4 aquarium buildings. The negatives are the rides are $6 each, a bit expensive. The food variety is not that great. Try to get a Groupon if possible.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was incredible!! Well worth the drive to enjoy. On a Monday afternoon, there weren’t many people there which was perfect for us. It felt like we were immersed with the animals, as some exhibits were only separated by water. Our toddler had so much fun running around and we loved that there was a restaurant to eat at after. My son fed a giraffe and my husband did the coaster and zipline. All were incredible experiences!

Experiencia fantástica: It was a great zoo. I have been here several times and over the years they have added new areas and kept everything clean. It's a very big zoo and can take several hours to go through it. There are also rides and different attractions to be seen as well. Also if you get hungry they have 3 places to eat inside at different parts of the park. They also have 2 gifts shops. I need to mention that they have an aquarium as well. It's very nice and they even have a spot to feed the stingrays.

Experiencia fantástica: This zoo is huge, I like so much the sea lion show, I was kind of scare because I read something about bird flu but they still open and peacooks were all around , I do not know mich about it bit I never saw the zoo so empty.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my older kids here along with a group of homeschoolers for a field trip. The animals were out and about and there were plenty of them to see! Most of the cages were cleaned up and looked to be taken care of. It's been a couple years since we last went but everytime we have gone, there's always something new to see!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the second time my family & I have visited this zoo & aquarium. We loooveee this zoo. We went on a Monday afternoon, it was fairly busy but that’s to be expected. It was also Presidents’ Day. We got tickets walking in, it was $92 for two adults, I’m not sure if they charged us for our little one. (She’s 11 months old.) my daughter’s favorite area was the aquarium, she absolutely loved the colors & little fish swimming around. I loved the whole place. At the time we visited there was also two baby animals, a 4 month old singing dog & a cheetah/leopard not sure as we mostly looked at the singing dog. (Precious.)

Experiencia fantástica: We loved this little zoo and aquarium, which was actually stuffed full of animals. It took us all day to walk it. They have ride-ons to rent, which i highly recommend, if you go with children. They also have rides, which are fun and informative. This zoo is in AZ, so go in winter or early spring, maybe late fall. The animals will be active then.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited the Wildlife Park in Phoenix, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! This park is truly a gem, combining a fantastic zoo with thrilling rides. This place elevated my perspective. As a pet lover, I was mesmerized by the variety of animals on display, but what really set this park apart were the rides! I had the unique opportunity to see the animals from a bird's-eye view on the ski lift, which offered a breathtaking perspective of the park and its inhabitants. It felt like I was gliding above their world, and I could appreciate their natural habitats in a way I never imagined. Additionally, the water ride was a delight. Floating through tunnels and getting up close to the wildlife was both exhilarating and educational. The park does a fantastic job of blending fun with learning, allowing visitors to connect with nature in a memorable way. The seal kissing booth and meet-and-greet made my whole day! Overall, the Wildlife Park in Phoenix is one of the top parks I’ve ever visited. It’s perfect for families, animal lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy a day filled with adventure and discovery. I can't wait to return and explore more! My only complaint is to get ready to drop a lot of dough! I can appreciate supporting the animals, but swiping my card the whole day made me upset. Please look into selling a wristband or pass that is a one-time fee. I would only be able to be mad about the price once, and the animals would make me forget the price!

Experiencia negativa: It was ok. I loved that there was a lot of animals and that you could get so close. However, while some of the enclosures looked great, other animals looked like theirs were severely lacking. Some animals were in very small spaces. Some of the ones inside had a hard composite-like base (I’m assuming that makes it easy to clean) but then had nothing else to lay on, interact with etc. it made me sad. Also, walking by a picnic area at the front, the trash bins were overflowing and there was trash all over the ground. It makes zero sense that no one saw it before it got that bad and cleaned this up. We knew before going that one or two things were closed but were surprised to find more things closed when we arrived. And all of the food/snack/drink stands throughout the park were closed apart from the pizza place at the front and the big restaurant. And it had no hours posted so we were bummed to find it closed after we had been walking around for hours without a drink in the heat. Solely because of the amount of animals I’d say it was worth it but knowing they don’t seem to take care of the place and just close things down whenever would be a big reason I would not return. *time of visit was a few weeks ago

Experiencia positiva: Overall not bad animal exhibits… however, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! Worse than a gas station in the middle of nowhere…It was just past 9am on a Sunday, which means no one cleaned up the night before. The carousel was worse than the carnival I went to in 1979… old, rickety and no safety belts for the kids. As much as this place charges I expect way more!! I’ll renew my membership with the Phx Zoo until this place gets their act together.

Experiencia fantástica: We spent about 6 hours at Wildlife World. The first half we walked, then rented scooters. It was a wonderful experience to see wildlife up close. Baby jaguar won our hearts. He was the sweetest thing ever! We fed treats to Bradley the giraffe, and watch as a zookeeper gave the lions a snack. Great place to visit, I'd go back again.

Experiencia fantástica: We absolutely loved our visit. The Kangaroo walk is absolutely awesome. All of the exhibits were full, minus the few new ones they are building and we can't wait to come back and see. They have so many attractions and rides, plus a lot of entertainment for the little ones. The aquarium was incredible with so many cool fish and sea creatures. The seals, otters and sting rays were adorable. Hands down our new favorite place to take the kids.

Experiencia fantástica: Monday was a great day. Not many people. Fed the giraffes. Seen a baby monkey. The lions roaring was my highlight. We rented a fun scooter that looked like a puppy. The kids loved it and so did I. Fun day.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a fun zoo and aquarium for the whole family! Plenty of room to accommodate attendees on the weekend so it doesn’t feel crowded, allowing you to further enjoy your zoo experience. The sea lion show was so much fun and entertaining to watch. Petting the stingrays was my favorite encounter! Feeding the lory parrots was another fun experience. So many animals to see and things to do. There are also a few restaurant options for lunch or dinner; Dillon’s KC BBQ really hit the spot! There are also some rides throughout the park for the kiddos but just know they cost extra. I love the Wildlife World Zoo and I will be back again soon!

Experiencia negativa: HEARTBREAKING don’t come here. Myself a long with most people I saw and spoke to were devastated at the living conditions these beautiful exotic animals are in. The animals are very clearly unhappy, pacing back and forth losing their minds!! :( Animals backed up to the freeway without any trees or buffer from the noise, beautiful big cats in tiny cages, giraffe living in small gated enclosure kicking the gate/pacing back and forth, monkeys trapped on tiny islands living out of tiny boxes, hiding under roller coasters???… the list goes on!!!. We all were so devastated leaving this zoo and felt absolutely HORRIBLE paying money to support it. All of the animals looked miserable.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place to spend the day if you're an animal lover. They do a great job of making it fun and interesting for both adults and kids. If you don't know their origin story or mission, you should read about it. Makes paying the entry fee feel even more worth it. While the dirt pathways can get dusty at times, this place is still more fun and interesting to visit than a traditional zoo. And it's definitely not as crowded. They animals have large areas to move and some of them can be quite the showman. If you've never been, DO IT! Don't forget to check the website for specials too.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a good time here, the seal show was pretty cool, and they have an aquarium and a good variety of animals like Rhino's, Elephants, we hand fed the giraffe's, they have tigers, monkeys, and a variety of exotic birds as well. It's worth the tickets!...

Experiencia fantástica: After visiting phoenix zoo 20+ times we finally decided to try the wildlife zoo. We really enjoyed ourselves. Compared to the phoenix zoo - you are MUCH closer to the animals for a better look. The animals here are lively and energetic, moving around. Compared to Phoenix zoo a lot of the animals there are always asleep or laying around. My favorite moments? The sea lion show for free… feeding the sting rays for $6… feeding the giraffes for .50 cents… being so close to the tortoises and rhinos. I saw a lot of new animals.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this zoo! So clean and all the animals look healthy and well taken care of. The place is massive, the tickets are expensive but you do truly get to see so much. I would recommend!

Experiencia positiva: It was a beautiful day and beautiful weather. I loved all the animals and exhibits. They really had quite the variety of animals. The place is huge according to my watch I walked 3 miles and still felt like I did not see all the animals! Place is big! 4/5 stars because some of the animal’s enclosures and their description post need maintenance or update. I was not able to view some of the animal descriptions listed at their exhibits. Luckily I used Google. Otherwise love this place would go soon again. Take plenty of drinks and snacks as one bottled water is $6. Plenty of places to sit and rest and watch the animals.

Experiencia positiva: This place was giant. 5+ miles to walk the whole path. It felt like a mix between something out of ‘Tiger King’ and a run down zoo. There was lots to do and see, including a full playground for the kids. But any of the rides cost extra money to ride, and the entrance fee was already really expensive! The best part of the day was the sea lion show, highly recommended! Overall it was an ok experience but would not go back. Also to note: the trails and paths are mostly dust and dirt (not paved) so bring shoes, clothes and a stroller that you are ok getting dirty.
