Experiencia positiva: This was a really fun place to visit. My kids and I had a great time and while I feel like the tickets and the gift shop were slightly over priced I would absolutely return with my family.

Experiencia fantástica: Place is pretty pricey 149 for 2 kids and one adult. I mean I think it’s worth it for a summer activity but I could see how this can push some budgets. Staff is extremely nice and helpful if you have any questions about the different exhibits. 5 bucks to feed the sting rays but the tidal pool and other ray touching area is free. They like to brag about their bathroom and honestly is pretty cool. Facilities were extremely clean and nice. Overall great place for kids or a date night. Ice cream is right after the exit on the boardwalk. Good place to stop after.

Experiencia fantástica: I always enjoy coming here and taking my daughter here! It’s big and has a good variety. Weekends are very busy so it’s nice to come on the week days. Lots of fish. Lots of different tanks to see. Fun experience for families and friends.

Experiencia fantástica: We've added this as our weekend go-to activity to stay out of the heat this Summer. Our 8 month old loves watching the jellyfish and penguins swim around which has been great entertainment for all of us. There are a few interactive experiences with the stingrays which is exciting for all ages! The plaza this is located in also has other family-friendly events and experiences to keep the kiddos entertained year-round.

Experiencia fantástica: This aquarium was well-worth the money! Such a wide variety of fish, sharks, jellyfish, and more! Cambria also did a great job explaining some of the cool features of sea turtle shells along with the rest of the fish in the tank you walk through like a tunnel They totally helped make my trip more enjoyable and engaging! Will be back soon.

Experiencia fantástica: The bathrooms 10/10! Super cool to see, lol, sounds weird, but really, even my kids loved it!! Would definitely come back again! I'm glad they also offer different features throughout the year to keep us coming back... This time was the mermaids and was nice! We ordered tickets online(definitely recommend for easy check in) parking was a bit confusing due to all the other attractions, but its literally all tied together from the inside entrance. It was actually bigger than I thought with 1st &2nd floors!

Experiencia fantástica: Love the updated look when you walk in. It’s so mesmerizing. The bathrooms at the entrance are the best. Staff are all really friendly. The Starbucks inside is huge and cozy. Getting the membership for my toddler is the best especially during summer.

Experiencia fantástica: 5/30/25 - My experience started off pretty rough as my mother-in-law and son went to the aquarium to enjoy the day and the front desk lady that was assisting her in getting checked in took her ticket and ripped it in half. It became a big problem over this lady’s attitude and misunderstanding. Nick completely turned my experience around with his outstanding service and professionalism. He quickly identified and fixed the issue in under 15 minutes, and was incredibly accommodating throughout. I truly appreciated his generosity and warm personality. On top of that, he even shared information about upcoming events at the OdySea Aquarium, which made me feel even more connected as a member. As a second-year renewing member of both OdySea Aquarium and Butterfly Wonderland, I invest quite a bit—not just in membership fees but also in the time and cost of driving 45 minutes to get there. Honestly, based on my initial experience that day, I was ready to walk away and not renew again. But thanks to Nick’s exceptional care and effort to make things right, I’ve changed my mind and will happily continue my membership. He truly went above and beyond!

Experiencia positiva: It's a neat place, good for a summer indoor activity. The only issue is cost. It is not worth the $167 paid for 3 adults. For an extra $20 we could go to SeaWorld. I would recommend reevaluating the ticket price.

Experiencia fantástica: Great aquarium with great exhibits we went at night during a “fish and sip” event for adults only still debating whether an aquarium crowded with drinking people is better than a bunch of screeching kids running around during the day. Well worth the visit either way.

Experiencia positiva: It was really cool to see the fish. FYI the other attractions, shops and restaurants are separate from the aquarium and you can just walk up. I like that. The aquarium was not worth $400+ for 3 adults and 4 kids. We even bundled with the laser maze which was really cool but not worth a big expense over. All that aside, it's a cool place to just visit but I wouldn't waste my money again on the aquarium bundles.

Experiencia fantástica: If you like it the first time, it's well worth upgrading the tickets to season passes. Through the year, there are enough changes, and various animal behaviors allow for new experiences throughout the year. The first visit and the upgrade can be a bit expensive. However, the season passes make it worthwhile as you make more visits. My family has enjoyed each visit, and one of my older sons and wife thoroughly enjoyed the penguin encounter, a must do for any penguin enthusiast. After a good walk through the aquarium, it's refreshing to take a seat for a 20-minute ride through the revolving aquarium (a guided, recorded, tour through 4 distinct aquatic environments) For those who want to experience more there are additional options, such as the aforementioned penguin encounter.

Experiencia fantástica: We visited the OdySea Aquarium located at 9500 East Vía de Ventura Suite A-100 in Scottsdale, Arizona a while back. This aquarium is full of the things one would expect to see at an aquarium, with 200,000 square feet of space to explore. There’s over 300 different species to observe. We thought the best part was the SeaTREK underwater helmet diving exhibit. We attended a brief training session and we were outfitted with wetsuits, then climbed into a large tank where helmets were placed over our heads that have a continuous supply of air pumped in to allow us to breathe. The manta rays were playful and interacted with the guests visiting their underwater home. There were also small sharks in the enclosure, but they mostly avoided the humans. They also offer rental of waterproof cameras to take underwater pictures and video from inside the enclosure. There is a food court with different varieties of food and drink to enjoy. The only bad part about our visit to OdySea was at the food court, where our beverages were accompanied with paper straws that fell apart almost immediately, rendering them absolutely useless. I get it that they are trying to promote the elimination of plastic, but these paper straws did not change anyone’s mind that they could be a suitable replacement for plastic straws. Maybe in time, the manufacturing process will provide an improved version of this paper straw, but these were useless. Visiting OdySea was a lot of fun and we look forward to going back again.

Experiencia negativa: We bought season passes last weekend for my birthday. I have been excited to go and thought this was the perfect birthday present. The aquarium was very nice and the staff in the aquarium were really really nice and helpful. At the end we bought a bunch of stuff in the gift shop including a turtle insulated cup. When we got home I noticed the seal on the cup was cut so the lid wouldn’t close. Called the next day and was advised by a man that we could exchange it. We live over an hour away so we decided to drive back today (Mother’s Day). When we got to the gift shop a middle aged woman (shorter with blond hair) was the only one up front but had stepped away. My husband asked her for some assistance but she acted like we were rude asking for help. She had said she was in the middle of doing something. We were happy to wait. Another customer came up to her and was a little upset with her because she had asked her help in something and hadn’t helped I guess. Don’t know the full story on that but that’s what I over heard and the worker was apologizing to her. Anyways after she helped the other woman my husband explained what was wrong with the cup and that we were told to come back for an exchange. She said she didn’t need to hear our explanation only that we needed an exchange. We only said a few sentences to her. Spoke to her about it for less than an minute and she snapped at us. I guess we shouldn’t have asked for help from her. I regret buying the season passes after that experience. In all honesty we wasted allot of time and gas money to replace an defective item we were sold then to be treated like that.

Experiencia positiva: It's a great aquarium. There are lots of really cool parts like the multiple enclosed tunnel exhibits, and the moving ride to the larger exhibits. It was clean. The animals seem well cared for. But over $50 seems reeeally pricey. I did spend a about 2 hours there as a solo adult.

Experiencia fantástica: Paired the Aquarium with the Butterfly Wonderland exhibit, bought tickets online in advance in the parking lot. Truly and delightful aquarium. There was not a lot of people and no waits for the educational pieces, like the carousel. Could stair at the jelly fish for days, such a beautiful display of marine life. Be sure to visit the bathrooms! There is a fun display there!

Experiencia negativa: It was definitely overpriced. A lot of the exhibits were closed and had a sign that said please excuse this exhibit being closed. The escalator was broken so there was a long line to go up the elevator or the other option was to go up for flights of stairs. There was a lot of cool fish, jellyfish, educational details about each exhibit. But not something I would get a yearly membership for.

Experiencia negativa: I drove all the way from California to visit this aquarium and I was so disappointed. Starting off with the bathroom, I understand there is a giant fish tank in the bathroom but the bathroom smelled so bad and it was extremely hot in there as well. Next, we went to the penguin exhibit and there was an arts and craft station. When my children went over there, we realize that there were no more coloring pages. There was no staff around to give more coloring pages. The papers were all over the floor. It was just a mess. Last, The staff that was at the sea urchin station was too busy yapping away having a personal conversation with a lady talking about her husband to the point where the staff was ignoring the rest of the guest in the aquarium. She didn’t even tell us that we need to wash our hands before we touch the sea urchin. She was also having this personal conversation on the microphone, it was extremely loud and unpleasant. I tried to make the best out of the visit but my 4 year old son was so over this aquarium that he asked to leave. I wouldn’t recommend this aquarium to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: A complete stranger my family was when entering. Not knowing what to fully expect. We are met with beautiful aquatic life ranging from stingrays , jellyfish , seal lions, and sharks !!! Now, each and everyone has their own fact chart and audio book you can listen to giving valuable insight into the animals' diet, unique abilities, where they live in the wild, and mostly importly how endangered they are in the wild. They also host adult events, kids events, and also can host weddings. Having a starbucks and multiple play areas for the kids to let loose and for you to relax before continuing on your adventure down below the second half of the aquarium. Where there are more unique species of life. They also have a rotating aquarium, giving you 4 different animals to view and learn interesting facts. Then finally leading to the gift shop. Where all your new and old favorite animals can be taken home with you and enjoyed. Pricey, but what do you expect. So, of course, I left out some info, but that's for you to come down. Enjoy and just like my family get the memeberships because the fun never stops after one visit.

Experiencia positiva: We attended the Penguin Encounter back in February and had an amazing time with the actual event. The staff was super knowledgeable and the penguins were amazing up close. However, since there were no phones allowed, we expected good pictures to be taken by the staff for sale at the end. We got the worst lighted picture ever.... you can barely see us and it cost us 56$ for the prints with digital. Not to mention it already cost us about 200$ for admission + encounter tickets... you would think that at least we would get a great picture to remember this by. The digital is also super dark... we are so sad due to the price and the fact that you can't even see our faces in the picture and barely the penguin. Horrible quality and so sad that the Aquarium would even sell these. We bought them anyways since they were the only keepsake we'd have of the experience but it kind of ruined what otherwise would've been a 10/10 experience.

Experiencia positiva: We like to visit aquariums in cities that we are visiting. Apparently this is a fairly new aquarium. The variety of species was really impressive. Seeing new creatures was fun, such as the striped shrimp and the upside-down jellyfish as well as good exhibits like a giant colony of clown fish and the tunnel tank of large fish. The "Voyager trip" reminded me of Tomorrowland at Disney. While the building size and location are impressive, the tanks vary in sizes and species, reflecting the waters' inhabitants of our incredible planet. The price, however, is so far above what we felt it should be. No senior discount. Should be lowered by $10. But maybe it's due to the ongoing drought right now and water is precious.

Experiencia fantástica: We visit often and always have a great time! The aquarium is one of our favorite parts—our little boy absolutely loves watching all the sea creatures. The place is quite spacious, so plan to spend at least two hours exploring. It’s definitely one of our favorite family spots to hang out and make memories.

Experiencia fantástica: At the Boardwalk in Scottsdale, Arizona you can pay individual admission for an attraction, or you can purchase a combo ticket if you plan on seeing more than one. My combo pass included the UFO Experience and the OdySea Aquarium. I easily spent more than 3 hours at the aquarium. After all these years, Marine life still fascinates me. Special shout-out to OdySea employee Lance, who found and returned my souvenir bag of novelty socks, magnets, etc that I had purchased earlier today.

Experiencia negativa: Didn't time the trip well... Waited a while to enter EARLY on a week day. Couple schools from the other side of the tracks were at the aquarium along with their chaperone single moms from the other....Other side of the tracks. These folks were rude and couldn't even follow basic directions: enter at the enterence, exit at the exit, washing hands before sticking your hands in the applicable exhibits. You know, basic stuff that normally people learn the first week of kindergarten. Aside from the cashier, everyone at the STARBUCKS was very uncouth and insufferable. Know that most of these reasons aren't the direct fault of the aquarium but still a part of the experience. Thinking about joining one of those "save the manatees" BSG groups to avoid this type of experience down the road.

Experiencia positiva: A nice aquarium, but man was it expensive for what it was. $150 for a family of four, and that's with our youngest getting in for free. They wanted $40 for the pre-printed family photo, and then another $20 if we wanted it in the cheap, paper frame (we turned it all down, so I guess they just throw it in the trash). The carousel outside was $5 per person, and they even charge for the mandatory chaperones for kids too short to ride themselves; the end result there was $20 for an exceptionally short carousel ride (maybe six rotations, over within two minutes easily). So yeah... we all very much enjoyed the aquatic creatures, but the end results was nearly $200 spent for less than two hours of entertainment for a family of four (one child, once again, got into the aquarium for free). I really don't know how a working- or frankly even a middle-class family is expected to do stuff like this.

I'm only giving it 4 stars due to visiting SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, OdySea is a great place to take kids and (especially from landlocked states) to get a glimpse of what is going on under the water! The penguins and stingrays were definitely a highlight for me!

Experiencia positiva: Great aquarium with pretty cool exhibits. I enjoyed the many tanks and enclosures, although with some it was difficult to see the animals and aquarium life. However, their variety of exhibits made up for this, with many cool lighting experiences involving the aquarium life. The giant sea turtles were amazing, as well as the jellyfish areas. They have a touch pool with stingray, a rotating aquarium to view 4 large exhibits (very cool and unique), and of course an aquarium tunnel. The sharks in the bathroom were really cool too. The aquarium did smell quite fishy upon entering while waiting for ticketing, which was a bit unpleasant.

Experiencia positiva: It was an experience. Field trip price so it wasn’t too bad. Costs are high if you go in on your own. It’s a place I can be fine with going the one time. It’s huge and I’m sure a lot of overhead, but not affordable for a family.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing experience! Fun for the whole family! This aquarium went above and beyond when designing this facility. You can tell they put thought and love behind creating bleach exhibit. The aquarium fish and animals all look happy and loved. We did the SeaTrek, and it was such an amazing experience! I highly recommend it! They also have the coolest thing ever.. It's a rotating sit-down aquarium viewing "ride". It's a smaller aquarium, but oh my gosh, there's just so much to see! Please bring your family here and see for yourself! On a side note: they have a Starbucks inside!

Experiencia positiva: I enjoyed walking through the aquarium. I think the start and end could be clarified a little better even w. the map, I could not tell. And the Voyager area, at first thought I had to go into it to reach the exit. But saw a curtained area and realized more exhibits were there which eventually lead to the exit. I did not like the sloth exhibit, and thought it was pretty cruel. Was in the furthest of containment area against the wall, facing the wall. Sloths are not a part of marine life and should be moved to a more hospitable environment not there! I didn't take a picture because it was pretty upsetting. Had to have a mister there which was where it was sitting btw. Jungle environments just send the sloth to a better equipped facility, not worth its quality of life for the $$ to merch sloth stuffies. Same for the Toucan. And your (1) sea turtle seems to have something medically going on, as its behind was floating to top and was having difficulty swimming. Otherwise a pretty cool place.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing aquarium here at the Boardwalk! The fish look very well taken care of and happy! The exhibits are very well laid out and extremely informative with plenty of interactive sections! The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful! The animal interactions including penguin ones are especially fun! The rotating exhibit with the audio guide is definitely the center piece here. Overall a very well managed aquarium.

Experiencia positiva: This is an awesome aquarium. It’s clean accessible and has some very unique features, including an underwater bathroom and a rotating aquarium which truly are fun experiences for you and the family. It was easy to get in on a weekend. We went a little bit bit on the earlier side around 10 o’clock and didn’t struggle with crowds or get out a little bit as we were getting out of there. My only grape is the price $50 a head is a little absurd and you’re considering a family of four. Would definitely recommend this place but wish the prices were better.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a must go. You may be startled by the price, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this experience. If I should do it over again I wouldn't change a thing. I would encourage you to bundle it with the butterfly experience! A must go!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Rainy day and it still was epic. Sharks in the ladies restroom, so cool. The grounds between the two venues are so fun. Dinosaur, giant gorilla and an illuminated Cinderella carriage. Fun for everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing from the time we purchased tickets outside (had a gecko friend plop down), were cheerfully greeted by a picture taker, walked inside to a world of gorgeous butterflies, and viewed an abundant colorful, array of flying marvels. This was my first time visiting a butterfly garden, and it did not disappoint, in the least. The 3D movie explaining the life of a butterfly was a real plus. Lastly, we viewed a plethora of fish, which was an unexpeted treat. Lastly, we walked through the gift shop, and of course, I had to buy something to remember my trip/visit. Excellent way to end a visit with my son, daughter in law, and grandchildren.

Experiencia negativa: Went on President's Day Monday. Was crowded as expected. I MAY have subtracted one star from a 5 star rating because the exhibits we most wanted to see - green leafy sea dragons and weedy sea dragons - were gone without explanation. Still would have given a 4 star rating, BUT ... Additional stars subtracted because of reception we received from employed staff. They were initially there at the entrance to take our initial picture, which we declined. Then, at the end of our visit, they took one look at my partner's political shirt, VERY vocally said "NOOOOOPE" and turned and ran into another closed room while their coworkers giggled and laughed repeatedly as if WE'D done something wrong. The coworkers laughed and repeatedly attempted to engage the associate, all within earshot AND my understanding of the situation. Given that remaining employees were SO incredibly vocal about why their colleague had run into an off-limits area leaves absolutely NO doubt as to the cause of the absolute lack of customer service. So, one star for absolute abysmal public display of customer disservice. Not at all what I paid for or expected, especially as it was over $100 for the two of us for the day.

Experiencia positiva: The aquarium seems outdated a bit for the price. I live in a city with an incredible aquarium so my expectations were pretty high I think. My kids absolutely hated the smell and the glass seemed foggy and dirty on many of the displays. The round moving aquarium was subpar. Still a fun day out but wouldn’t go back.

Experiencia positiva: Enjoyed walking through all the exhibits. Some open exhibits had very strong odor so beware if you have a sensitive stomach. Great descriptions on the walls. The octopus was stuck at the top so the view was interesting. Jellyfish were a hit. Make sure to check out the bathrooms before getting on escalator to start visit.

Experiencia fantástica: The exhibits were intricately put together to truly encapsulate the niche that surrounds the environment. When you go, please take the voyage because, although it's four exhibits, it's one of the most well thought out exhibits in the entire space.

Experiencia fantástica: This was a great experience. My boyfriend and I decided to go on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too packed. A little pricey to get in but well worth it. The bathrooms were so cool I actually gasped when I went in. I loved the moving Aquarium exhibit, never experienced anything like it but it was fun and informative. The gift shop was slightly overpriced as to be expected but it was actually full of some good stuff. We saw a lot of families and kids having fun, I feel like this would be the perfect experience for kiddos. I loved the variety of animals and it being more than just fish.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great time. This was the second time we have been since moving here 5 years ago. The bathroom at the beginning is awesome with sharks tank in there. Would recommend to go see this place. The staff we talked to were very nice and helpful. I like the voyager ride. They rotate around to three different tanks with different animals in them and they tell you about the the animals in the tank.

Experiencia fantástica: We enjoyed our first visit here. It is a good sized aquarium for being in the middle of a desert and the fish and animals are well cared for. They have some fun interactive activities for children and the moving aquarium ride/show is unique and fun. I definitely recommend checking them out. There are also other activities in the same area to occupy your day if you’re looking for things to do.

Experiencia fantástica: I went with visiting family. The aquarium is clean and well kept, and the tanks are well maintained. Some of them are very large. The assortment of marine life is very good for an I land aquarium. The staff was helpful, friendly and accomodating. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the overall experience. The cost is a little pricey, but expected for a non school or park owned/operated facility. I felt it was well worth admission by the time we left. I would recommend this aquarium.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to many aquariums over the years with my children and grandchildren, and this one was pretty special—starting with the restroom near the entrance! I was impressed with the cleanliness, the displays and how they were organized and set up so that all could easily view, and the informative and friendly staff. The rotating theater was unique and provided great info about the life within the various tanks being viewed. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I would totally visit this place even if I was not taking a child.

Experiencia positiva: It's ok, it lacked cleanliness. I think there may have been a dead sea turtle. During the rotating aquarium experience, my children pointed out a sea turtle that appeared to be dead,it didn't move the entire time we were facing the aquarium. Our experience with most of the staff was cold and unwelcoming. It's a depressing aquarium.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Highly recommend for all ages! My favorite was the sloth and clown fish Tank!

Experiencia negativa: I don't trust this place truly cares about animals. After seeing two parrots in a small dark cage ripping their feathers out because of stress I lost interest in seeing anything else. The parrots are so obviously miserable.. And dolphins death will haunt this place forever. I wish they closed this facility for good.

Experiencia fantástica: Great family experience! We loved the variety of sea life and the Voyage was fun learning more about the sea world paid 200 for a family of 5 which didn't include the butterfly exhibit so it was expensive for our family but definitely worth it! Kids had a blast

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing! I love this place, my 3yr old daughter and I have an annual pass and come once a month or so. Our favorites are the baby stingray petting, and this black light aquarium that has Dory in it!
