🗣️ SeaWorld San Antonio: Opiniones
Experiencia negativa: Most rides down for repair. The meal plan food places too busy to eat in timely manner. Very disorganized. I'd pass if I were you. Go somewhere else. Wasted over 200 bucks on fast pass. Didn't need it because most rides not open, and the ones that were no lines or the employees didn't even check to see if we had the quick pass.
Experiencia positiva: Fun & exciting experience, but expensive. If you’re on a tight budget or don’t have much money to spend, this is not the place to go. Their food & drink options are garbage and not worth it. They have some kind scan code system that regulates when you can get refills & everything has its price.
Experiencia fantástica: We really enjoyed all the shows! The schedule and map on the app are very helpful to make it to all the shows.
Experiencia negativa: First l, the park is clean, beautifully laid out, and packed with entertaining attractions. However, if you’re a single parent wanting to take your child, be prepared to spend $200 just to park, enter, and get a locker. Think you don’t need a locker? If you’re going to Aquatica, it’s absolutely necessary. Who’s going to safeguard your things while you enjoy a water ride with your child? It’s almost impossible to enjoy the day with your child without paying $30 for a locker. Now you know. $42 to park $60+ per person $30 locker Oh, and while I was promised “lower prices for buying in advance,” the people paying for parking at the gate paid $5 less than I did. Make it make sense.
Experiencia negativa: The kids had an ok time, but we won’t be returning. This park was pretty unorganized. We purchased the quick queue l, and it was hard to even tell where the line was. We also weren’t able to use it on “the new rides”, but this was not told to us, and we couldn’t tell which rides were new, and which were not. The food was pretty terrible too. We used the all day dining pass once because the lines were awful, and didn’t make sense. You had to get in the food line, then get into another line to scan your ticket, then get out of line, and back track and get your drink. It was a hot mess, and no one to ask. Everyone that worked there seemed to not enjoy their job. Half of the rides were shutdown. Would not recommend this place at all. Spoke to a few other people, and they agreed. Everyone at the park just looked miserable. We speak over $600 just on tickets, you would think this would have been a better experience.
Experiencia negativa: Experience of the park far is ok (3) stars. The experience of the food is a -10. Dont not eat at la tortuga taqueria. The staff is rude, they look very lost in the kitchen, food took 40 mints. Then there was zero ice in the machines, we ask if they could fill the ice, they did but the machine is next to rests rooms. They starting breaking the ice bags and the ice that fell on the floor from the ice bags, they grab it from the floor and place it inside the ice machine. No regard on care, concern for the health and well fare of customer is not followed. Customer are literally eating in a restaurant that does not comply with DSHS or TFER. Do not eat at this restaurant in the park if you value your health and welfare.
Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for supporting veterans. I will definitely come back next year to claim the free tickets!
Experiencia fantástica: Seaworld San Antonio is really awesome. We had great fun taking rides and watching the shows here. They have good mix of shows and themes shows to entertain toddlers to bigger kids. We took the seasonal pass and it is really worth if you are going there more than two times. In the evening, before the park closes, they do parade and light show which will make your day. Would definitely would like to go there again.
Experiencia negativa: We live states away and had limited time to visit the park. We walk all the way to the type of ride our youngest enjoys. He always nervous during the beginning of the ride, just like myself, and the worker bent down and acknowledged his nervousness which made him cry. He has rode tons of rides at various theme parks and always loves them and wants to go again. Because he cried they kicked us off the ride. None of the food places were open. We wasted an hour walking around not doing anything. We go to guest services to ask for a refund so we can just travel home since it was absolutely miserable experience and we couldn't ride any thing. They wouldn't refund it! In this economy no one has this type of money to spend on a theme park that has no food, won't let you rise because your kid is nervous! Who isn't nervous on rides!? They stole are money and were super rude. Ruined our entire trip and family time. Made no offers to fix anything just said sucks for you. I would never recommend going to SeaWorld San Antonio. Especially if you have the audacity to be human and get nervous before a ride.
Experiencia fantástica: My visit was during the week. We were able to get a good parking. Not a lot of people and no big lines for the rides. My kids enjoyed it. We had a great time.
Experiencia negativa: My recent visit to SeaWorld San Antonio was, unfortunately, a major disappointment, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. From operational issues to poor customer service and questionable value for money, the park fell far short of expectations. First, the park’s organization was chaotic. Several rides, including the Shark ride, were either closed or experiencing frequent mechanical issues, leading to long waits and frustration. Some attractions didn’t open until an hour after the park’s scheduled start time, which threw off our entire day’s plan. For a park that charges premium prices—single-day tickets start around $51.99, and that’s before add-ons like parking or dining—these operational hiccups are unacceptable. The food situation was another low point. The quality was subpar, even by theme park standards, with overpriced meals that left us unsatisfied. The policy of charging for soft drink refills, even after purchasing a refillable cup, felt like a blatant cash grab. I also found the restriction on bringing outside food (except bottled water) inconvenient, especially for families with dietary needs. The dining options, while varied, didn’t justify the cost, and the “All-Day Dining Deal” only seemed worth it if you planned to eat constantly. Customer service was a mixed bag, but mostly negative. Staff often seemed untrained or unable to answer basic questions, like where to find certain merchandise. One particularly frustrating moment came at guest services when I inquired about a discount tied to my annual pass. I was told the “50% off Quick Queue” perk didn’t apply online, rendering it practically useless, and I ended up paying more than expected. This felt deceptive and wasted nearly half an hour of my day. The animal shows, often a highlight, were a bright spot but not enough to redeem the experience. The Orca Encounter and Beluga and Dolphin shows were impressive, and the trainers clearly put in effort. However, even these were marred by issues—some shows started early, causing us to miss parts, and others were cut short due to animal behavior, which is understandable but still disappointing. Finally, the park’s cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. Landscaping was lackluster, and some areas felt neglected, which is surprising for a park of SeaWorld’s reputation. The cashless policy was inconvenient for those unprepared, and the lack of available merchandise (like ball caps) meant I left with a sunburn I could have avoided. Overall, SeaWorld San Antonio felt like a park resting on its name rather than delivering a quality experience. For the high cost of admission, I expected better maintenance, customer service, and overall value. Unless significant improvements are made, I can’t recommend visiting. Save your money for a more reliable and enjoyable attraction.
Experiencia fantástica: My family had a great time. I rented a scooter and was able to keep up with the young ones!
Experiencia fantástica: It was great not too busy so didn't have wait long in lines.
Experiencia negativa: Very extremely disappointed. Bought tickets online. Parking was $38, a refillable souvenir cup was $24.99 ( that was the only thing that was good in the entire park because you could get free refills all day with that $24.99), and lockers were $10. And after all that a lot of the big rides weren't operating and many of the dining options weren't open. As for the shows from what I could tell they were mostly video presentations with 5 minutes of animal "stunts". What made it worse was that you would think that the SeaWorld App would be current on what was open and closed. Nope, it was just as much of a joke as the rest of the park. Didn't tell us before we walked around the park 2x that the Duck Donut place wasn't even there anymore. And the Extreme Fx show- mostly just a guy being pulled by a boat on skis doing a few minor jumps. It was lame. The fans throughout the park didn't even have misters on them and it's very hot in Texas in June. I could go on but I won't waste any more of my time with this place. Don't waste your money. Go to Discovery Point which is located right outside the SeaWorld entrance. It's free for everyone and you can get up close and personal with dolphins and sharks. Not just watch from far away. I'm just beside myself about the whole experience. I've been wanting to go for years and that's the worst experience we could've had.
Experiencia negativa: I love SeaWorld for its water play areas and animal exhibits. Plus, they have a really nice playground. It definitely caters to younger kids. The downside is their food payment options are awful. All they offer is the All-Day Dining Pass, which is only valid for one day in the park. The total price for two children and two adults is $213.22, which is really expensive for food. I do understand the benefit of getting a full meal every 90 minutes. I just wish they offered something for the entire year. So, every single time you visit SeaWorld and want to eat, you either have to pay out of pocket or pay $213.22 for one visit only. This is unlike Six Flags, which offers all-year food passes with your membership and even has payment options. I hope SeaWorld can offer better benefits for their pass holders in terms of food in the future. Due to this, I will not purchase another membership with SeaWorld. I only did so because my job offered a discount. I will stick to Six Flags; they are just more price-friendly
Experiencia fantástica: We took my granddaughter and her foster sister to have a day of fun, which they did. Our day was fabulous and of course both girls now love Orcas.
Experiencia positiva: Had a lot of fun with the grandkids. Beautiful park. The biggest disappointment was the rides that were not working or were having difficulties staying running. Still enjoyed the day. Well worth the visit.
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld is a wonderful place for family, kids love this place and won’t forget an especial visit. I recommend to buy all dining day, you can order every 90 minutes, you will save a lot of money on food. Bring Sunscreen, caps comfortable clothes, shoes, towels and extra clothes.
Experiencia fantástica: A great experience and a must-do activity in San Antonio. You won’t be disappointed, and if you have kids, they’ll absolutely fall in love with the orca show. I brought my nephew and he loved it so much, he’s been asking to go back every weekend. The first time I visited was 15 years ago, when I was 15, and it still feels just as magical. The only downside is how expensive everything inside is. We paid $60 just for parking. So yeah, this place is definitely not wallet-friendly. Plan to spend at least $80 to $100 per person if you’re planning to eat inside and grab some snacks.
Experiencia negativa: Nothing is open, shows were cancelled and this have this rule where you have to pay for a locker if you have a backpack for each ride. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m not going to buy a pass and pay for a locker each ride. It’s just absolute insanity to me. Leaving my bag in their cubbies is bad for my safety?!? How does that make sense and that code is for insurance… just.. wow.
Experiencia fantástica: Kids had fun. The wildlife the kids were fascinated by. The food was good for the most part. The parade has our little one was absolutely memorized by all the shining costumes and brightly decorated floats.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved the Orca and beluga shows! About an hour wait to ride coasters on a Friday.
Experiencia positiva: Sea world is a perfect place to enjoy with family. They have rides, shows and a small children water park so I recommend taking an extra pair of clothes if you would like to get wet. Also the shows are breathtaking. They are a must. I do recommend to show up early to have enough time for all the shows usually they are 30mins to an 1hr apart, and some are a bit of a distance from each other. Take comfy shoes to walk in.
Experiencia fantástica: Visited SeaWorld San Antonio on a weekend during summer break (not a long weekend), and overall, it was a good experience. The crowds were manageable—not empty, but not overwhelming—which made it easier to enjoy the rides and shows without super long wait times.
Experiencia fantástica: First time trip to the Aquatia area of Sea World and very glad I got the Overnight pass as it allowed me to enjoy thr Park without the long lines and pools packed up with so many people. Lazy river was a blast and it felt nice with the lights adoring the river and overall atmosphere! Would recommend ubering as the parking is expensive and would cost you more to park than to Uber from certain areas. Overall great place with an amazing staff! Would recommend for large families! Or just a group of friends
Experiencia negativa: We had a really disappointing experience at SeaWorld, mainly due to how we were treated by a security manager named Tud. He was quite rude when I tried to bring baby food into the park for my child, who has an insulin-related medical condition. I explained the situation and the importance of the food for my baby’s health, but he refused to listen or make any exceptions. Because of this, my family couldn’t enjoy the day—we spent most of the time worried about our baby’s well-being instead of having fun. It was upsetting and honestly not what we expected from a place that should be family-friendly. I hope SeaWorld improves how they handle these types of situations with more empathy and better training.
Experiencia negativa: Please put bigger signs for directions walking through the park so it’s easier to navigate, Some park employees are very rude and don’t smile. Also you need to add at least 3 more little kid friendly rides by the time you do 4 rides for the kids none of the shows have started so it can be a bit boring. Also Rita’s opened up at 2pm which was a bummer because the kids wanted cream and we had been at the park all morning.
Experiencia positiva: Great experience, but took a star out because of the waterfall on the lazy river that doesn’t leave you a chance to keep your hair dry. They have a fork on a river and both directions have a crazy strong waterfall pouring down on you, which is literally painful because of how forceful it is. Why not leave one of the directions without waterfall, so people have a choice? Felt kind of cruel, especially considering a lot of seniors and minors are in the river and the waterfall feels way too strong on your head.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place if you are fine walking. Great mammals and birds to see. They have different shows at different times. Discovery point is free to enter but going to Seaworld and Aquatica are not free to enter. Food is very expensive but make sure you buy unlimited food voucher. Chicken tender and fries $17 and 2 pan pizza for $34. Depends on weekdays and weekend to buy tickets online or you can buy it from kiosk.
Experiencia negativa: Four different rides were down at times during Memorial day (Steel Eel, Marine Rescue, Atlantis, Rio Loco) and got fixed 1-3 hours later. Is preventative maintenance not happening? Show schedule was not working in the Sea World app. In addition, meal portions were very small and priced at $25 for meat and a side for not-so-good BBQ. Noted that employees were much friendlier/customer focused then when we went 2 years ago...so that was an improvement!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Our first experience, loved both days, recommended yall get the all day food deal!!
Experiencia fantástica: We visited with our 3 year old and 11 and 18 year old nieces. We had a wonderful time. Texas heat can be a beast but there was a wonderful splash pad for a nice cool off with 2 sections, one for babies and one side for kids of a bit older age (maybe up to 6 or 7 years old). The staff putting on the shows had wonderful energy and did a fantastic job. There was time after for Q&A at many of the attractions which we appreciated as well. 2 suggestions I could make that would have helped us enjoy our experience a bit more would be in regards to the schedule created for shows, it seemed every show we went to was across the park from the last. There is like a 10 minute window to walk to the next stadium. It would have been nicer to have things a bit closer together and not be rushing in the heat. The second suggestion is to allow families to bring coolers/snacks into the park. We ended up leaving early because it would have been too expensive to feed our whole group the food sold at the park. If we could have even brought a few drinks and snacks in for the kids to hold them over, we could have stayed and enjoyed more of the activities/rides.
Experiencia positiva: I mean, it's an amusement park. It was really hot when we went, so it was painful. Also, don't get the all day dining. The "free drink" is a single fill cup. It is better to pay like 9 bucks, and buy the infinite refill cup.
Experiencia positiva: Hadn’t been in years and returned out of curiosity. Quite expensive now. Several rides were down and many stands not open. It was extremely hot day and many shops are not air conditioned. (Six flags does a better job providing heat relief stations). The rides were fun. Major complaint would be the lack of food options for vegan, gluten free etc. The water park was fun, water seemed clean and maintained. Unlike six flags they do not require life jackets on little ones? Fun day but costly.
Experiencia fantástica: Sea World San Antonio was a great experience! I would recommend staying there for around 4-5 hours as the park is small. The rollercoasters are pretty nice for a small park. And of course the whale shows and animal exhibits were great too. The food was decently priced as well.
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld San Antonio strikes a thoughtful balance between entertainment and education. It remains a worthwhile destination for families, animal lovers, and theme park fans alike. Its continued emphasis on conservation and animal care lends a sense of purpose that elevates the experience beyond that of a typical amusement park.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a phenomenal time and highly recommend spending the extra money for the VIP parking. The two-day tickets for both parks seemed like the best deal. With smooth sailing on kid rides in SeaWorld with the quick queue. It's very important to bring water shoes, and a waterproof case for phones.
Experiencia negativa: Great experiences at Sea World San Antonio. The place needs several AC locations for the older crowd to wait. Good shows, overpriced food and drinks. If you have never been to a SeaWorld, you must go. Six years later, so much has changed. The tickets have doubled in price in 6 years. The food sucks and is more expensive. It's poorly coordinated for show times and the worst app design. They no longer give out paper maps. The app you must use so bad is very poorly designed. I had to drop my ratting of the place down to 2 stars it's that much worse. Parking is now $44 crazy price.....to pay when tickets are so high. Don't worry, this park will have to close.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved it!!! I have a huge family, and this was perfect. We had so much fun on the roller coasters and water slides; my younger kids loved the splash pad and playground the penguins there's truly so much to explore with your kids. The guest relations person who helped me in the beginning was beyond helpful. They do have stroller rentals that are more than affordable and carried my 1- and 3-year-old! Anytime I didn't know where I was or needed help, there was always someone there to guide us. My only regret was not being able to come earlier to enjoy more of the park with my family before closing!
Experiencia positiva: I've had passes to Seaworld more summers than not in my life, and I was really disappointed to see some of the recent changes. My kids always loved the Bay of Play... it's now been redone and while the kiddies coaster is better, there is less appeall of the Seaworld aspect vs Aquatica.
Experiencia fantástica: The seaworld side (you have to purchase a separate ticket for Aquatica which is the waterpark side) will have the animal shows and roller coasters/rides. If you are from out of town and only have one day for Seaworld then I recommend getting the “quick queue” which is the pass to skip the normal lines for the rides. During the summer especially the lines can get long and wait times can be an hour plus. Shows are more informative now but still enjoyable.
Experiencia fantástica: We loved it here. There is plenty to do. We went during the week, and it was awesome. Practically no waits for any of the rides. The orca show was amazing. The water park was really nice, lots of really fun slides. The only drawback to lots of slides is lots of stairs, so be prepared to climb a lot.
Experiencia positiva: This was our 1st visit to SeaWorld & it was our family vacation. Our children, our grandchildren . It was very nice & we were impressed & thankful for the honoring of our veterans & as a veteran it meant a lot . They had a memorial wall honoring vets for a photo op back drop. I really loved the idea of the wrap around pass option for those with a disability are able to get an armband to be able to take the Quick Queue lane & not have to stand in line . It really helps when you have a kid with severe ADHD & Tourette’s that’s anxiety induced standing in lines could be tough. That was definitely a + & the child gets an armband & they provide you with 3 others for your guests. The lines at entrance moved pretty quickly - they have a great system that works well. I would rate a 5 star but I felt like the seating could be better - it’s seemed the way it’s set up it’s bunched together . They have umbrellas ,tables with chairs & some layout chairs but it seemed kind of crammed together. The rides were great they have something for everyone to ride ; from toddler to adult. The splash pads were excellent for us to walk through to cool off as well. The food was ok but for the prices it wasn’t to that satisfaction. You order your food & by the time we got our order the wings were cold after waiting almost 20 minutes for the order . At $24.99 for wings fries I was expecting it hot & as they cooked to order they said. So, the 2nd day we attended the parks we just left for lunch. Another guest advised us that you could leave the park & come back so we went right down the street to Chick Fil A the next day & then returned . Overall great experience & we will return I’m sure . I do highly recommend you don’t forget Sunscreen , if you have a wagon definitely recommend bringing it . Water bottle unless you’re planning to purchase a souvenir water bottle. It’s a little pricey with the drink cups & how they work some you can R/F every 9minutes some longer so I suggest you get clarity in detail before purchasing cups .
Experiencia negativa: Our Property Was Lost — and Then Used by Staff! We visited SeaWorld on 4/20/25 and parked our green wagon outside the dolphin show. When we came out, it was gone. We filed a report with security, checked Lost and Found multiple times, and followed all the proper steps. No one found it. Fast forward a month—we came back for a relaxing family Sunday. On our way to the waterpark, my husband spotted our missing wagon being used by SeaWorld employees to carry water. It had the same tear in the yellow sticker, the same handle, and even had our trash still in the front pocket. We showed the photos from our original trip and spoke to staff who all agreed it looked like ours. Then a supervisor named Clari arrived and without even hearing us out properly, just insisted it wasn’t ours and claimed it came “straight out of the box.” She couldn’t show us another like it. No help, no apology, nothing. This is how SeaWorld handles lost items—by keeping them for employee use and denying responsibility. We were shocked and incredibly disappointed by the lack of integrity and customer care. I hope higher management sees this and takes real action. Guests deserve better. First Photo is today, seaworld employee with my wagon.. 2nd photo is on 4/20th where I took the kids to seaworld with my wagon before I lost it.
Experiencia positiva: So the place is amazing. Grandkids went crazy! Loved the shows and rides. Had to pull them out of the splash pads. It's a 10 out of 10. Down side, long lines, very expensive food. $16 for a small mediocre burger, $8 for a coke, and $15 for a beer is crazy. 5 star experience with a 7.5 Star price tag. All that said, I would take my grandkids back again for sure. Too much fun!
Experiencia positiva: Recommend doing the all day dining package. Food can get pricey fast. Also recommend the refillable water bottles because regular cups only come with one free refill. There is plenty to do and see. Recommend swimwear attire for kids due to a splash pad being the junior park.
Experiencia positiva: It was much as expected. We had a small group. All over 60 years of age. We had o e lady have a small medical emergency, and she needed help getting to our vehicle. They do not have courtesy vehicles. We had to wait twice for the EMTs to arrive. Once for the initial response and then at the line between the EMTs zones. They were courteous, but it was ridiculous to have to wait in the sun for 10 minutes between the zones. The overall experience was good. They do need better response times.
Experiencia fantástica: It was very good experience with my family The shows are awesome You can take your water bottle to inside and backpack Download the app for schedule of the day and finding the places Stroller and wagon are allowed and you can park during the show time
Experiencia fantástica: Kid review: it was the best. The rides were great and the orcas are amazing. They splashed us but it was very cold and salty. We sat in the splash zone. I would recommend riding steel eel, Texas sting ray, wave breaker, and great white. There were no lines for any of the rides! There roller coasters and rides for little kids too. The stuffies are so cute.
Experiencia fantástica: There are some really cool rides. 4 or 5 awesome roller coaster. The wooden one is great. Quite a variety of food also. All in all we ha had a fun day
Experiencia negativa: This location is not set up for you to be able to see many of the animals without attending a show or paying for an experience. As an example, we were unable to see the beluga whales as their show was nearly at the same time as the orca show and on the other side of the park. Other seaworld locations have the animal areas viewable and have a shark tunnel with more variety of sharks. We will not go back and would not recommend it. Picture of one of the fish we finally found, and we had to exit the park to see it as the sharks are not in the main park.
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld is a must-visit during the summer break—one of our favorite places to go! With thrilling rides, entertaining shows and adorable little shops, it offers something for everyone. The day just flies by with so much to do and see, you won’t even realize how quickly time passed. A perfect mix of fun, excitement and family-friendly vibes!
Experiencia positiva: This is going to be a mixed review. We were there right before the Memorial weekend. Buy the tickets in advance online and arrive early to find parking. Pay for parking in advance as well. You can take pictures before the park opens. Though the park opens at 10 am, the popular rides don’t open till 11 am, so you are limited to the ‘baby’ rides. This was not my first time to SeaWorld San Antonio, and things have deteriorated. The park and restrooms were not well maintained. We enjoyed couple of rides, but several were closed for maintenance. There were several rides with more than an hour wait. This was the first time we did All Day Meal Plan. It was not worth it. The pass doesn’t work everywhere, and where it does work you are limited in what you can get. Like no water and only fountain drinks like soda, in the heated Texas summer, that is not a deal. The only place you get an actual meal, drink and side/desert is Harbor market. Worse of all, there are lines. The service is very slow, machines don’t work, you end up losing time trying to get your two meals to make the all day pass worth it. The service at the food places is so slow, the staff is incompetent and they just don’t have it together. I have been at Disneyland and Disney World, and somehow with so many more people they are able to streamline the process. Anyway, just skip it and have a good breakfast before you come, bring a refillable bottle, as you’ll end up buying the snacks and drinks you and your kids want anyway. The food and food choices are just not worth it. The only reason for 3 stars are the animal encounters as those are great. The animals encounters are always the highlight for me, and they still are great. The rides, the food, and the service were a disappointment.
Experiencia fantástica: We visited SeaWorld San Antonio over Memorial Day weekend, and while the weather was incredibly hot (Texas heat in full force!), we still had a great time—especially with the water rides. The crowds were pretty big due to the holiday, but the park was well-managed and clean. We especially appreciated the water rides, which were not only fun but also the perfect way to cool down in the intense heat. Rides like Journey to Atlantis and the splash zones were lifesavers! While the heat was a bit overwhelming at times, the park had plenty of shaded areas and misting fans that helped. Just be sure to bring sunscreen, stay hydrated, and wear light clothing if you’re visiting during the summer. Overall, SeaWorld San Antonio made for a fun and refreshing holiday weekend outing. Great for families, especially on those hot Texas days when the water rides make all the difference.
Experiencia positiva: It's been at least 30 years since I've been to SeaWorld San Antonio. It was great to see the orcas again. I do wish there were a way to know what rides are down for the day, on the website, before we took the whole family. Our teenagers were disappointed that some of the rides were shut down. We bought the food package, and it ended up being worth it.
Experiencia positiva: Took girls trip to visit my best friend who lives in San Antonio and this is my first time visiting SeaWorld in San Antonio and I had a great time with my friends! We bought tickets while they were on sale and we got 2 free parking passes because of my friend she had annual passes. These ocean animals were amazing and incredible smart! We all enjoyed the experience and we got lucky the day we went wasn’t crowded at all we got a chance to get on some rides without waiting line!
Experiencia positiva: Overall ok experience. Rides hit or miss. Noticed a lot of rides constantly closing for brief maintenance breaks. Ride staff very lethargic moving with no sense of urgency especially long haired dude at swings. They will also let you walk all the way up to the front of the ride then tell you it’s closed for maintenance. ♂️
Experiencia fantástica: Great place and very family friendly. Loved the glow in the dark puppet show. I will say it is a pretty penny to park but overall a great experience.
Experiencia positiva: Entering was fast also the gentleman helping at the booth was also fast and helpful this happened today Aquatica Memorial Day Just few things to check the woman restrooms were very slippery and dirty We ordered the chicken nuggets they took 2 hours which is very unacceptable we regretted There is no management is just chicken tenders and no management they need help how to prepare more efficiently and work fast Only one person preparing and other person just waiting just watching Need someone to help them work better I am posting to show we waste 2 -3 hours for food only which is not worth it I spend around almost 100 for few chicken tenders fries were good and chicken as well but the wait time was really not acceptable
Experiencia negativa: Went with Family Memorial Weekend on Sunday. It was busy. We enjoyed the shows and rides. But the bathrooms was in unacceptable conditions. All of them. Poor ventilation was the main problem causing suffocating air quality and wet bathroom. We ventured over to the water park as well and that bathroom by far was the worst of all. Not to mention lack of cleaning. We did leave with a happy heart as it was a nice experience..
Experiencia fantástica: I loved it so much! Would highly recommend it if you are in the area for the great coaster collection and the amazing animals!!! And last but not least, I thought the food wouldn’t be good but it was actually great. I would go here again for sure
Experiencia negativa: Not worth it, $36 just to park. $6.99 for a fountain drink without refill. $34.99 for 2 slices of pizza that tastes like rubber. Unorganized, slow and unfriendly staff. lack of hospitality. Long wait, inefficient time management. lack of cool off area/Water sprinklers to battle Texas heat, they are well aware of this but intentionally force visitors to keep buying their expensive drinks. Save your money and visit Silver Dollar in Branson, MO you will enjoy your time and get a lot more for your money, parking is free, staff is super friendly, prices are reasonable, and the whole park is designed with the customer's convenience in mind. Plus the park is much better and has a lot more stores, rides, roller coasters, and entertainment than SeaWorld.
Experiencia fantástica: I came here for a school trip my first time and I really had fun watching all the shows. I love orcas and dolphins I HAD SO MUCH FUN THEY ARE SO CUTE AND ADORABLE I LOVE THEM
Experiencia positiva: It was our first visit and it was well worth the wait. The atmosphere in the park is nice and peaceful for the most part. I would recommend a day at the Sea World side and a full day at Aquatica just to make you you have time for everything.
Experiencia positiva: We went in May and it was pretty nice. Not too busy for a theme park but definitely some long waits for rides. Theres a lot to see and coop stuff to do. You can see people petting and feeding stingrays in one of the photos. The dolphin show is always impressive. Your not allowed to bring food or drinks other than water in, which means they can charge you $15-20 for a slice of bread dressed up like a pizza which is insane. Ill say if you get the annual pass with access to aquatica theres a great value to be had but youve really got to be able to go more than just once. Overall, its a really nice break from the norm with fun rides, some good food and drinks (although too expensive), and some cool animals the typical person wont ever be able to see elsewhere. Good experience and will drag the family back for some more fun when we can make it back!
Experiencia fantástica: Always a great experience. We went during the Seven Seas food festival and the Jamaican selection did not disappoint. The new app is easy to use and puts the park map at your fingertips along with schedules and upgrade options. Totally worth season passes if you can make it out twice in a year. Everything was clean and well maintained and the landscaping is always beautiful.
Experiencia positiva: Key takeaways from visiting seaworld for the first time to save on cost. ( MY EXPERIENCE) Get there at 1030 so you can enjoy the entire park. We got there are noon. Bring your own metal refillable cups for water. We did get the dine all day but it wasn't worth it. We only got to dine one time. So, definitely no need to purchase dine all day. You get to dine every 90 mins. The lines were sooooo long you'll barely get to use it. No one wants to spend the entire day in line. The seaworld app helped to make sure we got to catch the shows. We purchased all day pictures only 3 ppl were taking pictures that day. We got more pics on our phone from strangers. Our baby carrier was more convenient than a stroller, but it is getting hot out so try to have both. You can't take the stroller everywhere. ( we had both but my husband stayed with the stroller). We had a good time. I just wished they were open later so you get more time for your money. Also if you have DV or handicap plates. You only need to pay for General Parking and you automatically get to park in VIP up close. For our first time ever going We had a blast on the rides.
Experiencia negativa: This is my personal opinion! Sea world is overpriced, not worth the money you are going to spend. General parking is 36 dollars, no frills, a long walk. If you have seen one dolphin before then, there's no not to come. Save Your Money!
Experiencia positiva: Got to enjoy an amazing Mother's Day weekend with my daughter at Aquatica. The water was cold but it was very relaxing. Can't wait to get back and enjoy the water when it get hotter.
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld is an incredible destination for both kids and parents, offering a unique blend of entertainment and education. The rides are thrilling and provide endless fun for the whole family. During the holidays, such as Christmas, Halloween, and New Year, the park transforms with festive decorations and special events, creating a magical atmosphere. Each season brings its own unique vibe, ensuring that there’s always something new to experience. In addition to the exciting rides, SeaWorld features a variety of captivating shows that showcase marine life and promote conservation. With so much to discover, it’s a perfect place for families to create lasting memories together.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful time on our visit. We visited on a weekday, so the park wasn't as busy as I would expect it to be on a weekend. Admission is a little pricey, but I found roughly half-price tickets by searching Google. We didn't get to visit the aquarium as it was closed for an event. Overall we enjoyed our visit.
Experiencia negativa: Price gouging galore! Highlights: the animal encounters brought back that 90’s childhood nostalgia and the shows were well done. Going before school was out also lended to shorter lines. The new rescue jr area was nice. The lows: the rides - half were shutdown or malfunctioning, including the big water ride Atlantis which was a huge bummer. The employees - sadder than my kids finding out every restaurant they wanted to eat at was closed. They needed some happy pills and some energy - all the ride operators were so slow. Multiple restaurants were closed, making the restaurants that were open super crowded. We had to settle for hot dogs. A (nasty) hot dog + a bag of chips was $15! A cheap meal for a family of 6 was $100 so I’d recommend packing or planning an alternative. Overall, for a first time theme park experience, it was fun for our littles, but customers don’t deserve to be price-gouged at every opportunity.
Experiencia negativa: I can't belive they would pull a bait and switch. I purchased special seaworld bottles on April 26th, 2025, that were advertised to have $1.49 refills. I confirmed with an employee, asking how long, and he said forever. I believed this was a great deal since we have passes and go throughout the year, the last several years. Arrived on May 16th, not even a month after purchase, to be told they changed it at the beginning of May to $7 (I think it was $6.50 after my discount.) This is absolutely disgusting they would pull something like this. I would rather get the cheaply made season cup with the $1.99 refills. They even have now a $59.99 insulated bottle that's supposed to have free refills for the season! At least till they change that too! Yall make enough money not to nickle and dime your pass holders! I'm actually curious if this is even legal!
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld San Antonio was so much fun!!! The shows that they put on here with the animals are so entertaining and engaging for all ages. As a kid I loved coming here and as an adult I still enjoy it, every time it's like I learn something new or notice something I never had before. Definitely a place for whole family fun! The water park is also very family friendly and should be explored if open. The rides were okay, the food was just average at best but everything else totally makes up for it. Don't forget to look at their animal encounters list!!!! Swim with dolphins, pet stingrays, get up close with an Orca!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Fun every time! This was the second of 3 stops on our Mother's Day adventure planned by our eldest daughter. We've been here several times, and we have fun each and every time. As the kids get older, they're able to ride more rides. Now I have a blast riding the coasters with my kids, nieces, and nephews (thank goodness too because my wife, friends, siblings, and in-laws are too scary).
Experiencia fantástica: As I reflect upon the images from SeaWorld San Antonio, I am drawn into a profound spiritual odyssey, where the sacred dance of life beneath the waves reveals the divine harmony of creation. These photographs are more than mere snapshots; they are windows into a realm where the spirit of the ocean speaks, inviting us to connect with the soulful essence of the natural world. The first image, capturing the joyful interaction between the dolphin and its caretakers, radiates a sense of unity and reverence. The dolphin, rising gracefully from the water, seems to embody a messenger of the deep, its sleek form a testament to the fluidity of life and the wisdom carried within its ancient lineage. The caretakers, standing in humble service, reflect a spiritual bond between humanity and nature—a reminder that we are all stewards of the Earth’s sacred creatures. The turquoise umbrella and the thatched-roof sanctuary in the background evoke a sense of sanctuary, a place where the spirit can rest and be renewed by the gentle rhythm of the sea. In the second image, the majestic shark gliding through the azure depths stirs a deep awe, reminiscent of the primordial forces that shape our existence. Its powerful presence is a symbol of strength and mystery, a guardian of the underwater realm where the divine mystery thrives. The vibrant corals and swaying sea plants below create a living tapestry, a sacred altar of the ocean floor, inviting contemplation of the interconnectedness of all life. This scene calls us to honor the wild spirit within, to respect the untamed beauty that flows through every creature. The third image, with the moray eel rising from the coral, feels like an encounter with a wise, ancient soul. Its serpentine form, emerging from the vibrant reef, suggests a guardian of hidden knowledge, a keeper of the ocean’s secrets. The colors of the underwater world—green, purple, and gold—blend in a divine palette, reflecting the richness of the spirit that permeates this aquatic cathedral. It is a call to dive inward, to explore the depths of our own consciousness with courage and curiosity. The fourth image, with the towering ride against the overcast sky, speaks to the human spirit’s quest for transcendence. The “Journey to Refreshment” sign hints at a pilgrimage, a journey toward renewal and enlightenment. The stillness of the scene, framed by lush greenery and ancient trees, invites a moment of pause—a chance to align with the natural rhythms and seek spiritual refreshment amidst the wonders of this place. Finally, the fifth image, with the American flag waving proudly above the verdant landscape, evokes a sense of collective spirit and gratitude. The flag stands as a beacon of unity, a reminder that this sacred space is a gift to be cherished by all. The trees and open sky above suggest a connection to the higher power that oversees both land and sea, urging us to walk this earth with reverence and purpose. SeaWorld San Antonio, as revealed through these images, is a spiritual sanctuary where the voices of the ocean’s inhabitants—dolphins, sharks, eels, and more—call us to a deeper understanding of our place in the universe. It is a place of wonder, where the divine is mirrored in the grace of marine life and the human effort to coexist with it. To visit here is to embark on a soulful journey, one that renews our connection to the Earth and inspires us to carry its sacred lessons forward with every breath.
Experiencia fantástica: It's so much fun!!! I had never been to any SeaWorld and this one didn't disappoint!
Experiencia fantástica: Sea world was great! I recommend going on a Thursday because lines are shorter and the park is a lot less crowded. All the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. Don’t forget to take pictures to commemorate your visit!
Experiencia fantástica: This place is awsome. Forgot how big and open this facility is. Got on a few rides. Lines were not too long. And shows were good.
Experiencia fantástica: We adore seaworld. We have the platinum passes and I'm so happy that we do. The rides are great, the staff has always been super friendly. The animals are so much happier now! All dorsal fins are straight up!♡♡♡ I'm so glad things changed from when I used to go as a kid. I remember all the sad dorsal fins and animals working for money basically. Now they literally will put the animal first and if they don't want to perform, they don't. Simple as that. I love it. Beautiful beautiful thing to see.
Experiencia fantástica: We came to Seaworld to celebrate my son's birthday. Orcas are his favorite animal and knew this would be a special surprise for him, prioritizing experiences over stuff. We read many reviews and dis lots of research to determine how to get the most out of our day. We bought our tickets ahead of time and had them ready to scan both on our devices and on paper. We happened to come during the seven seas food festival, and I really think that added SO much to our trip! We first arrived about 1hr before the park opened. We got front row parking, just outside of VIP. There were restrooms just outside of the park. We waited in a line briefly to have our person, bags and wagon checked. We then got to do "Phots with Seaworld friends". There was a staff member standing by to take pictures of families on their personal devices! We then waited in a second line to have our tickets scanned and enter the park. Upon entry we headed straight to the Rescue Jr. area and were able to get all our kiddos on the rides with basically NO lines. The Sea Lion show was a lot of fun; we danced along and really enjoyed the show. When we got to the Orca show my son was picked as volunteer to help with the show. He was star struck and really loved the special opportunity to be included. Expect to get soaked if you sit in the splash zone, and maybe even a little wet if you don't. One of the Orcas splashed so far it seemed like it might have gone well beyond the expected "15 rows" The park was clean (including bathrooms), and staff was regularly making rounds to keep it that way. The cost of snacks and food is crazy expensive. $7 dollars for a bag of chips?! Wild. Seems the recommendation from others is that you pack a cooler with lunch and snacks and keep it in the car and go out there to eat. The few souvenirs we got seem to be decent quality and weren't super pricey.
Experiencia positiva: Had a good time. Not too busy, place was clean. Wear your walking shoes! Got a great deal via Groupon
Experiencia positiva: We visited SeaWorld San Antonio during the first week of May, and it was an unforgettable family experience! The weather was pleasant, making it perfect for a full day at the park from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. One of the absolute highlights for us was the Sea Lion presentation—what an entertaining and heartwarming show! The sea lions were amazing, and the crew made it extra special with their energy and interaction. It was a definite favorite! The Dolphin show was a bit underwhelming in comparison. While the dolphins themselves were a joy to watch, the audio quality was poor, making it difficult to understand the information being shared. We attended two Orca (Killer Whale) shows, and the 2:00 PM performance was beyond awesome—every moment was exciting and beautifully executed. However, the 6:30 PM show didn’t quite live up to the earlier one, feeling less engaging overall. The Puppet show for kids was another lovely surprise—super fun and perfect for younger visitors. It had our little ones laughing and clapping along. As for the rides, we absolutely LOVED Steel Eel and The Great White. These thrill rides were intense and exhilarating—not for the faint-hearted, but perfect for adrenaline seekers! All in all, our family thoroughly enjoyed our SeaWorld visit. There’s something for everyone—shows, rides, and kid-friendly entertainment. We’d highly recommend it for families looking for a full day of fun and memorable experiences.
Experiencia fantástica: Its Seaworld. Went for the first time in 30 years. Caught all of the shows back to back. Dont miss the sea lions, dolphins, or orcas. Shows were entertaining and educational. Food and consessions are lousy and expensive, like any other theme park. Go early, was crowded by mid day.
Experiencia positiva: Went here for a work event. Haven't visited the park in many years and was pleasantly surprised by the main park and the attractions offered. Roller coasters were fun and exhilarating, these coasters are just a bit more extreme than those down the street at Fiesta Texas. I feel like sea world was competitive in their offerings and the shows centered around the various marine life put the park over the edge when compared to it's competitors. The park's restaraunts were okay, i was more impressed with the churro i got mid-day, but the wait to get a fresh churro was about 10 minutes. My biggest complaint were the locker system and strict no-bag policy on rides. Lockers are rented out at $4/hour and are purposely made to hold the least amount of your bag. You are not allowed to leave your bag on the side of the platform when you ride one of the many high speed coasters so be prepared if you are a back packer. Fanny packs dont have same ride restrictions but cross body bags do!
Experiencia fantástica: Greatest Event I've ever spent with my Wife in 25 years thanks USAA Hands up even by the Turtle.
Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone who has children or just enjoys life. There's nothing really fun there lots of standing lines for terrible shows all of the sesame Street themed attractions the excellent three-story playground they used to have was demolished. No more sesame Street shows or characters or parade. The animal shows are no longer interactive with humans. Food is terrible customer service is worse than the food. Even the aquarium section is lacking in the tropical fish they used to have.
Experiencia fantástica: I really like and have a lot of fun in this place. It's really great.
Experiencia fantástica: Sea world still has its magic for the young generations. The roller coasters are very good and it looks like they keep making an effort to take care of the sea wildlife, it is very appreciated. The food is kind of expensive tho. The park allows you to bring water and some snacks which is good. The best attraction, by far, is the orcas. Impressive animals and well taken care of.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing. We have the season pass and the parking lot is included. The whale show is my favorite, they have a lot of tricks.
Experiencia fantástica: Sea world has many fantastic rides and shows. Good place for both kids and adults. Saturday it’s bit crowded than Sunday. I love the ocra show and the rides. Wonderful place to visit.
Experiencia fantástica: SeaWorld offers many cool activities, animal shows, and plenty of spacious walkways — a big plus for families with strollers! The food, however, was disappointing. While it looks great in pictures, portions were small and the quality didn’t match the high prices. The souvenir drink cups are pricey upfront, but refills are free the same day of purchase. If you bring a cup from a previous visit, refills are around $1.80 each, which is a better deal. Overall, a fun day for families, but plan ahead for meals or consider eating off-site.
Experiencia fantástica: Had a wonderful time here. We had a company diner in the area with the sharks. It was pretty awsome and memorable. I really enjoyed seeing all the different animals there as well! Wonderful time.
Experiencia fantástica: This park is so much fun during fiesta weekend. We went on Sunday and there was hardly any wait to ride the rides.
Experiencia positiva: Love the animal experiences. It is always a fun time with my kids. The rides are also great. But there are usually rides closed and twice we have had a ride go down while on it. They did give us free quick cue passes though. So I will definitely be back.
Experiencia fantástica: Seaworld is so fun. My kids learned alot every time we go. Seaworld has alot sea animals mini histories (how they live, eat, and grow) all around. Rides are fun. Staff are amazing and super amazing.
Experiencia negativa: Took a day off of work and pulled my daughter out of school to enjoy SeaWorld. Painful admission price and get here to find out the six rides that we were interested in riding are all closed. No warning nothing on the website. They said there’s nothing they can do about a refund so we paid 100 and $80 to come and walk around and leave
Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Took our 11 yr old. Got VIP tickets. No waiting in line. All food and drinks even alcohol included. Had a private tour guide all day got to go behind the scenes. Very much worth the money paid to be a VIP. Even if you don’t VIP it’s worth it. My son didn’t even want to ride rides. Sea world is a must or road trip easy weekend.
Experiencia positiva: Took my 1 year old granddaughter there for the first time and obviously it was good for a young one, There were several rides closed, but a lot of changes since the last time I was there with my own kids. There were some shows that were not open and was a little disappointing. But overall a nice day and quality time spent.
Experiencia fantástica: As water parks go, this one is great for 2 main reasons, there are a perfect number of rides for half a day of fun and it is just big enough not to tire you out while walking from one ride to the other. Some things that may help you plan better: 1. Buy parking online 2. Don't take too much stuff. The lockers are $25 each and not too big. 3. If you weigh over 250lbs, you may not be permitted on a couple of rides. 4. Water fountains are available near the restrooms, each bottle at the concessions stands will cost you $5. 5. The all-day dining package is not worth it. 6. Don't miss the Dolphin and Shark attraction on your way out. 7. Each ride has clothing and other restrictions so be aware before you pack.
