We had so much conflicting information and advice and our fish were suffering. I was recommended to call him and I’m so glad we did. He brought his diagnostic lab to our house and found the parasite killing our fish. Then he set out a plan for medication and care to try save the remaining patients. Our aquarium was challenging with plants, loaches and size, but it has been a success and the fish are healthy again. We are very grateful for his calm support and the time he took to teach us about what was happening, the life cycle of the parasite and why we would need to take drastic steps like bubble wrapping the tank and keeping lights on. He also gave us a lot of advice about preventative steps for new fish in the future. Dr Loh is one of the best vets you will ever find for your fish and aquatic pets.

As anyone would expect, they are very knowledgeable about the end-to-end process of fish management as a whole, and of course, with a focus on the prevention and treatment of disease. They also focus on the human connection, which is particularly important to us hobbyists. I thoroughly appreciate their commitment to this niche industry; without them, we'd be flying blind. Keep up the great work. For those other comments regarding fees/costs etc, at the end of the day, his years of commitment, knowledge and experience in this field justifies the fee. The fees are less than specialist doctors, or on par with Medicare general practitioner payments. So in my opinion, that's reasonable!

Visited our home, diagnosed a likely cause (a really rare virus) and organised pathology to confirm it. Then he came back to humanely dispose of the affected fish and treat our tanks so that it didn't spread. He's a very gentle and caring man and gave us confidence with his expertise and support. He was able to give me an answer on why my goldfish didn't make it and checked the other fish and conditions. Haven't had a casualty since (that was a year ago). Dr Loh came and treated my community tank for flukes and diagnosed my Betta with a swim bladder bacterial infection before we had to accept the reality of mycobacteria.
