Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic fish shop! Great selection of plants and fish. Definitely the best shop on the coast for knowledge. Awesome selection of hard scape materials, bowls, tanks, shrimp, fish and plants. Love my visits here.

Experiencia fantástica: We bought our axolotl, Dragon, from Aquarium Paradise and absolutely love the place. Everyone in the shop genuinely cares for the animals they sell and ensures they go to good homes. Before we purchased Dragon, they tested our tank’s water for free to confirm it was suitable, showed us how to feed her, and explained how to keep her healthy and happy. The tank looks like a piece of art in my kitchen. Aquarium Paradise offers a wide range of natural driftwood, rocks, and plants to create a beautiful, natural-looking habitat. I chose to keep the water dark with tannins, as this mimics the axolotl’s natural environment and is beneficial for their health.

Experiencia fantástica: Really cool place with everything you could possibly want to get started into aquariums, terrariums, paludariums and cool creatures too. Every time I visit I see something new. They also do water testing and an RO water service which is quite rare. Awesome people.

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I even start, honestly hands down best experience with these guys. From the very beginning they have been so supportive, reassuring and educational of our fish keeping journey. For the following reasons we will be staying loyal to them and buying fish or consulting with them first. They are truthful with what information they give you based on what they know. They won’t just sell you fish they know won’t go well in your tank just to get money. Julian knows our tank, the highs the lows what’s in it and what it’s gone through guiding us through our first time with white spot according to sensitive fish we have in our tank making sure we were well looked after and reassured. They are very friendly and easy to talk to no matter the situation. They are always happy to listen to your tank/fishy needs and further guiding you and helping you understand. They care about where their stock comes from. Fish that are over bred usually have defects causing them to not live long etc but they take the time to make sure they buy from trusted suppliers with all your tank needs. They care about their fish in store making sure they are fed, have clean tanks and water, not selling fish that clearly are being treated just to make money. They make sure you have done the checklist for owning fish especially when we were first timers Julian helped us under the importance of water parameters and stock to tank ratios, what fish can go with what. They are transparent. They will not sell you fish they know will hurt other fish in your tank, or destroy your tank or simply won’t survive or cause stress. When we had white spot in the tank they were transparent and educational when they told us what treatment was available and what ones could actually harm our fish. With aquarium paradise I cannot tell you enough how looked after you will be with them. Thank you to julz and mum for all your hard work, it is seen!

Experiencia fantástica: This bloke is an absolute weapon! Juel, “ apology if that’s not how you spell your name” is so incredibly patient and helpful. I went in three times before I settled on a tank and each time he was happy to have a chat and so incredibly helpful. You generally get the feeling that he wants you to succeed! We couldn’t fit the fish tank and cabinet in the car and the bloke offered to follow us home in his Ute, which me and my partner had refuse several times, you just don’t get that level of customer service anymore! Don’t go anywhere else for your aquarium needs on the sunny coast! I could spend hours in this shop chatting to the staff and looking at all their amazing fish!

She has got me started with the new aquarium and I have been back a number of times to buy more fish as well as other products I needed. Highly recommend this amazing business.

Beautifully scaped planted tanks as soon as you walk in the door, so much attention to detail and care for these beautiful creatures. The first aquarium shop I’ve ever seen with goldfish in an appropriate sized tank!! The young man was so helpful and lovely , offering assistance with the fish if there were any troubles once home. They have a great range of fish, unique species too, hillstream loaches, spiny eels, probably heaps more I didn’t see, and all at such reasonable prices! And floating plants dirt cheap!! Truly the best aquarium shop I’ve seen so far!

Really enjoyed chatting with the lovely lady who owns the store, very friendly and keeps her store well supplied and maintained. Experiencia fantástica: Simply a wonderful aquarium supply shop with delightful owners, Lareina and Jules, that care for both the fish and their owners. They’ve guided me from a very anxious amateur aquarist to a (slightly more) confident but definitely more knowledgeable goldfish host. Lucky to have them in the neighbourhood but worth the trip if they’re not in yours.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend Aquarium Paradise highly enough. I've been going to them since they were Pets-4-U - for at least 15 years at a guess. I've had a Discus tank, African Cichlid tank and Siamese Fighting Fish as well as a Tropical tank at one stage. I bought a 4ft tank Lareina's late husband Grant made well about 15 years ago and it's still in as good a condition as when I bought it. The fish, fish food and aqua scaping supplies I've bought over the years have always been excellent and I've never had any issues. Their knowledge is top notch and they're always happy to answer any questions. You won't get a better Aquarium store on the Sunshine Coast.

From the quirky tank stands to the corner display of beloved plants and trinkets, this space has been made with love. The staff are the owners, Jules and Lareina. They want to be there to help you. This is their jam and they do it well. Advice is given with patience and care. They always make you feel you are their number one priority. Their fish are their passion and it shows. Lareina always has her eye on a favourite she hopes doesn’t sell so she can take it home to her scaly family. That’s if she can get it past Jules, her son and partner in crime. Their interest in you extends well beyond fish. Jules and Lareina know more about their customers than most people know about their own family. You’re family to them. Not only do they always give great advice and service but the fact that they remember what Tank/s you have but also what types of Fish and Plants you keep. Not an easy thing with so many loyal Customers to keep track of. They have our loyalty and all our business, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. I cannot recommend Aquarium Paradise enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I have only recently found this little gem, but I am so happy I have!! The quality throughout the whole store is top tier and the pricing is incredible for what you receive. At least something in all of my tanks are from these guys from fish, hard scape, substrate to plants. Both Jules and Lareina are incredible people who strive to do what is in the best interests of the animals, I can and have spent hours talking to Lareina and just admiring all the beautiful display tanks! Whilst keeping aquarium fish, can be more of an art than a science at times, they are full of quality recommendations and always assist with any abnormal problems that may arise. They are always friendly, generous and well-priced, always have a nice variety and are happy to custom source any specific fish or shrimp I set my heart on.

Beautiful display tanks and they also sell large variety of shrimp and speciality betta fish. They obviously love fish and it comes through in their service and advise. Pricing is also very decent. I always go here for everything I need :)

Experiencia fantástica: Without a doubt this aquarium shop has the cleanest tanks, most healthy fish, and impressive aquatic plant displays of any other aquarium shop I have been to. Also, I used to work in an aquarium shop back in the day up in north QLD, and I have visited aquarium shops all over the world in the last 20years; so I know what I'm talking about. This one rates higher than any other that I've ever seen. I haven't been so inspired to get back into fish keeping in year's until I stopped in here. I'm now preparing to set up a planted shrimp tank and dabble in some CO2 because I trust how easy the lady here has explained it to be. If I remember, I'll post progress pictures of my tank once it is set up because I feel excited to get back into fish keeping.

Sadly they had nothing I wanted to purchase but was worth the visit! If I could fault anything in the shop it would be the size of the tank that the display mangrove jack is in. Im not going to lie that tank was way to small he has no room to swim up or down and I felt sorry for him. No offence. But I would suggest to upgrade the tank for the big fella he deserves it. Please think about it

Experiencia negativa: Went here to buy some fish, and noticed that the Neon Tetras and Black Widows had a severe case of Whitespot, I told the lady nicely, and she responded by rudely saying "So?". It appears that this shop doesn't care about the health of the fish, considering the fish were for sale.
