Positive experience: Excellent price on AquaOne bulbs. Really well packaged so arrived safe and sound. A bit of a delay due to stock shortage and had to make contact to find out what was going on. It took a couple of tries to get a response and I was nervous I had been scammed. Would be better if they had been proactive on letting me know about the delay. Will be top of my list when looking for more supplies.

Negative experience: No communication, I had to reach out to find out where my order was to be told that they were waiting for one to arrive.

Fantastic experience: Im new to the hobby and started by making a few visits to gather a shopping list and advice. After a few visits, I bought everything and over the course of 3 weeks had my tank cycled with a bunch of healthy and so far happy fish. Ive had a few hiccups along the way (all on me as im learning) and they were one short phone call away with advice. Ive spoken to pretty much all staff over various visits and they are so friendly and helpful. This is now my go to shop for my tank.

Negative experience: 100% do not reccomend if you're interstate. Called on Monday 14th July to confirm stock, their website says fast shipping so I ordered but couldn't select any express shipping option, I texted and emailed but got no response, so on Wednesday I contacted them asking to cancel/refund. They reply saying the supplier?(They told me they had stock) has shipped it on the day I ordered, and will chase up a tracking number. Next day (Thursday) I chase them up and they provide me with a number from aramex that wasn't updated yet. I get notification on Friday saying it's dispatched... Which means they lied to me saying that it was sent on day of order. Aramex is one of the worst delivery companies there is. Wednesday week after I get notification saying it's coming. I'm home all day and get an email at 2pm saying they couldn't deliver?, I contact them the next day they said they couldn't find my address??! (I have never had this issue) and that it would take 2 days to process a redeliver!!!! I told them don't worry send it back I'll request a refund. During this time fine pebble ignore all my messages, I wait for the shipping to say it's been returned and contact fine pebble via email and they respond saying they need to wait for confirmation from supplier. Unfortunately my card I used for purchase got cancelled for suspected fraud from Canada. I called my bank to get a letter and sent it to fine pebble and they are still ghosting me. I will be taking this further to QCAT/ACCC. It's an absolute joke. I was lied to so they could keep the sale and now won't assist in closing this matter. They sound like a good store to shop in person but I do not reccomend ordering if you want anything shipped.

Fantastic experience: I don’t often leave a Google review but when I do it’s a special one. I am somewhat of accidentally unique customer to Fine Pebble Aquarium; I was shopping for used tanks on Facebook Marketplace and had arranged to look at a tank, but the seller was moving home and had asked a favor of Fine Pebble Aquarium to send it there to be sold from them, so he didn’t have to take it on his move. I arrived to look at the tank at Fine Pebble Aquarium, and not expecting much service, considering I was looking at a secondhand tank I was surprising shocked when Seb spent the better part of an hour talking to me about how I could set It up, what I could do for lights etc. etc. Long story short I arranged to buy it and come back with a Ute to pick it up. Now this is where my story gets truly amazing, when I returned, I shopped some more and bought some other things around the shop, then they helped me load up the cabinet and when we went to load the tank, we noticed it had somehow received a small five cent coin sized chip in the glass. I was truly devastated thinking I was going to miss out on this beautiful tank, but Seb shocked the absolute hell out of me and ordered me a brand-new tank and had it shipped to my house. Yes, you read right, a brand-new tank!!! And these retail for over five thousand dollars. This was not even Fine Pebble’s tank, but they went above, beyond, and then above and beyond 100000x more! Seb kept me up to date with everything along the way and was truly amazing. I had never heard of Fine Pebble Aquariums, but I will now be a lifelong customer, and I have to drive over an hour from the Central Coast down to them. I have NEVER received that level of customer service anywhere and have never had people care about you as a customer above just taking your money. I just got off the phone with them after what I thought was going to be a quick two minute phone call around lights, but it ended up being 15 minutes of ideas and suggestions and I almost fell off my chair with this yet again, at this point I should not be surprised as the team at Fine Pebble is the best in Australia hands down!!! I wish I could give a higher review than five star, as Fine Pebble deserves a ten star review

The fish and aquariums are so well kept, and their fish are so healthy compared to other aquariums in my area. Absolutely worth the trek lol. Next, I’d like to say the employees there are so lovely! This time Rick took care of me and I’ve never had someone so genuinely care about helping me pick a fish lol. (He is really funny too, so you’ll have a good time and not even realise time has gone by) I highly recommend coming here, you won’t regret it. High quality, healthy fish, for a great price. These guys helped me set up my first tank and made sure I did it slowly over weeks and checked in every week with a water test before doing anything else. Very clear these guys care about customers and their fish, never a push to sell anything, I've walked out a few times with nothing at their advice to make sure I had happy healthy fish! Also a great selection of fish, coral, tanks and general supplies and cheap prices! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Went in over the weekend for the first time and was surprised how big this store is. There are plenty of corals and equipment to choose from and the owner served me and was very helpful and good to deal with. Went in for a heater after being to crystal palace around the corner and it was $20 cheaper for the exact same heater. Will be going back as they have a large array of corals and fish to choose from at reasonable prices .
