Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, truly offers a really great variety of exotics, lots of dry goods and quality driftwood, not your average fish store, star of the show is 25yr old red tail catfish in a tank front and centre, additionally a very large tiger shovel nose named Sid! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, planning on returning (drove over an hour to see the redtail catfish! Highly recommended! AAA+++

Fantastic experience: OMG I could not recommend Allcoast Aquarium highly enough, I have been having trouble with my daughter’s fish tank, I gave Allcoast Aquarium a call on Sunday afternoon 10mins before they were closing and they were so helpful over the phone and advised me to also come into to store the next day to get more help which I did. The staff are so friendly and are so willing to help. I won’t be going any where else but Allcoast Aquarium for all my fish and fish tank needs. Thanks so much

The store has a fantastic variety of fish on display, along with beautifully arranged display tanks that make exploring really enjoyable. I purchased high-quality shrimp and plants, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. They even let me handpick my individual shrimp, which was a great personal touch. Overall, the store is a pleasure to visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for healthy, well-cared-for aquatic life and great service!

Fantastic experience: Comprehensive shop with good service. They can quote for a bespoke aquarium at reasonable prices. They are a family business and full of knowledge and happy to assist. Great selection of fish, plants and accessories. Worth a revisit if you haven't been there lately, as it has a much nicer look now, with improved displays.

Fantastic experience: I've shopped at this store for more than 20 years, and it may have had different owners and staff working there, but one thing has remained a constant, they have a passion for quality. They have some of the best African cichlids you will find in the country. Their display tanks are awe-inspiring and second to none, if you're looking for a quality aquarium, you'll struggle to find one better!!! Go there, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: We visited The store yesterday after an unfortunate accident with our dog in the morning. We were amazed at how much compassion and understanding we received ❤️ We were helped with lots of information on which fish would suit our tank and the best way to look after them when we go away. I couldn't more highly recommend All coast Aquariums and the lovely owners and staff. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: The place is tip top, excellent range of all types of fish of all sizes and the prices are fantastic. I listened to them serving other customers and they seem very knowledgeable. A little wait time to be served once U have chosen out ur fish, but worth the wait. Couldn't be happier with this shop I'll be taking the 30 min trip there from now on.

Luke and Shane on a number of occasions have really gone above and beyond to help with multiple things from live rock, marine fish, glass repair, glass cutting and even going as far to help move my super heavy marine aquarium on 2 occasions coming to umina beach to get it done. Cannot recommend this place enough and cannot recommend these guys enough. It really is a pleasure to see these guys whenever that it as I know I will be looked after and not charged an arm and a leg. Good service goes a long way if I could give 10 stars I would.

Negative experience: This was my favourite Aquarium on the coast. Unfortunately after 5 years, things have changed. I thought it was just me but met a lot of people now that also think the service has gone down and the prices have gone right up. This is before Covid and inflation. Parking across the road is gone. Shrimps are gone. Saltwater fishes etc are gone. Lots of shelves are frequently turned off. Too many dead fish not scooped out. The "Lady" takes over and no more being well looked after either. I hope she's not doing the same things to their long term workers... Much cheaper buying online, even with the current inflated postage fees.

Fantastic experience: Good selection of freshwater fish (no longer carrying saltwater, but can order in for you). Great selection of live plants too! Friendly staff, our kids love visiting here when the resident bulldog Dakoda is in store - she loves pats. And the massive resident red tail catfish adds some wow factor the first time you visit. Full range of Seachem products, good selection of hard scape/aquascaping items. Parking can be a bit hit & miss especially on the main road on the weekend, there is a parking lot around corner from the shop.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! If you need any help starting up or keeping your aquarium these people know what's up. They have an extensive selection of really cool fish, snails and shrimp. They keep their tanks really clean and run a beautiful and ethical business. They have everything you'll need in terms of decorations, food, filters, heaters, pumps and live aquatic plants. When they didn't have something I needed for my tank they ordered it in for me. I believe they build custom tanks as well. If you are an aquarium enthusiast or just starting out I really couldn't recommend this place more. The staff will talk with you and give you really solid advice that makes sense and is easy to put into practice. They also have really fair prices!

Least weird aquarium on the coast! couldn't have said it better after visiting many of the coasts aquarium shops... saying that, the team at Allcoast are very well versed and passionate. The store is well laid out and has plenty of stock, I need nice plants and they have a good option and all clean. I have two kids that love looking at the fish, and they are very welcoming to our kids so that a big plus for our family.

Fantastic experience: This place has only gotten better over the years. The range of fish freshwater fish (no saltwater) is just what you would expect - and then you get a few bonuses! ... A whole rack with a focus on shrimp and nano fish, a wall full of cichlids(if that's your thing)... hey, you know the deal. A really respectable range of accessories, tanks and plants. I haven't bought one of their in house tanks, but I have seen them in store - and they look pretty darn good. I often buy here, I suggest you come and check them out!

Fantastic experience: This is the best, most stocked, nicest, least weird, coolest and friendliest fish shop in the coast with the most knowledgeable, down to earth staff. I’ve been into aquarism for a few years…this store is the Newtown cafe of fish shops. Nice work guys.

Negative experience: Would like give a NO star… Spent $150 first off, purchased a yabbie including. That died over night. So decided to buy 3 goldfish instead.. Over this last 6 days 1 gold fish ate another, phoned them and my friend sitting next to me heard the girls words, Bring that one back and we will replace, then buy another T lower cost.. That did not happen… Quote un quote the fish you return we keep and we wi sell you another gold fish for half price, which is a measly $4.00… No way was I going to do that, as that meant the first fish cost $8.00 then add another $4.00, for my new goldfish.. Adds up to $12.00 for one goldfish.. They have no customer service what do ever, unless they taking your money… Apart from that we going elsewhere to purchase our grandchildren a new tank and fish plus accessories, which we would of purchased from them.. NOT NOW All this for $4.00 to them What a business, never will I step back in there, and I will pursue to tell others of this

Negative experience: Said open, but wasn't. No sign or anything to say they were closed. Absolutely disgraceful. Even online says they are open. Drove all that way for nothing. Lost our sale and don't recommend as not very trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: Its the best!!! I even shop for mum here and she lives off the coast of NSW, The fish are great 100%survival rate. The best range of different bettas on the coast and when I have asked for particular fish or fishes,I have had them 3 days later. All my aquarium needs are here lights, filters and wool,gravel, plants including live plants EVERYTHING IS HERE. l just love All Coast Aquarium. Thanks guys. customer service at its best. Betta bettas every where. If you love these fish as much as I do, I suggest you get there now. Male , females long fin and short fin. Colours amazing just like the staff. Great job guys

Positive experience: I found the staff really helpful when I went in for plants and gravel. I rang about prices on some fish however and was given an outrageous price so I went else where. However I do wonder if it was just that person on the phone playing mechanic and thinking I don't know the value of the fish. Trying to make an extra buck. I can't see the people I met when I went in ripping anyone off so although I'll mention it. I'm not letting the phone call affect the rating.

Negative experience: I recently visited this store and watched in horror as a young staff member berated a costumer for “not knowing anything about owning an aquarium”. He was very aggressive towards the lady and she seemed quite upset. From what I heard she was asking for advice and I saw him throw something, shake his head and roll his eyes several times. I will not be returning. Either will she, I hope. Absolutely shameful customer service, never seen anything like it.
