Fantastic experience: love this store so much and am very sad that it appears to be closed. the fish I've bought here have always been healthier than those purchased from larger stores, and the selection of both terrestrial and aquatic plants is excellent. The owner is knowledgeable and very friendly and the prices are very affordable.

This little corner store has everything and good selections at a good price as well. I bought a good orchid medium today at a really good price. You can ask him to stock anything you need.

Fantastic experience: Friendly owner, small cramped store that’s a little bit messy but carry a lot of interesting things if you’re willing to spend the time to look around. They have nice small containers of a variety of different rocks for scaping and staging your bonsai and succulents. I also like that they carry rare and unusual plants like mesembs, though I recommend shopping at the right times of year when the new stock comes in!

Fantastic experience: Lots of plants and flowers. Backroom fish pet store. Lots of difference fish for aquariums. Prices are pretty decent. The variety of aquarium fish is great, from tetras to shrimp, snails, sword tails, guppies, catfish, arawanas, etc. The young man who works in the back is very knowledgeable. I always but my fish from them. Great place.

Fantastic experience: This place used to be called Wong's Aqualium long ago. Now it's under new ownership. Really great local selection for your floral, plant and Aquarium needs. Really great selection, healthy fish and a lot of stock for supplies and equipment. The place is packed tight but you can give almost everything you need. They have even more aquariums than the previous owner and a diverse set of species. In the summer their plant and shrub selection is really great and spills outside on the corner. Well worth a trip if you need supplies or a local pet shop. One of the last of the original East end Chinatown. Parking is nearby not wheelchair friendly. The owner can special order fish if you need it and has restock every month. Call in advance if you are looking for a particular species. Photos and video taken with owners permission

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for affordable and healthy plants during this off season I recommend this shop!!! They specialize in indoor and some outdoor plants as well as other aquatic fishes/pets. The owner, Paul is very nice and was so helpful when choosing plants. He shared how to take care of the plants I bought and even share info about other plants. Definitely gonna be a regular and can’t wait to find more plants here.

Fantastic experience: My kid frequents this store's aquarium when visiting his grandparents. They have a fair variety of fish at reasonal price. The owner looks serious, but seems to like kids alot, even turned off the lights to show him the neon tetras glowing in the dark, which definitely made his day. I went to him when I started my first aquarium, he was really helpful and gave me some good advice too, also, some free water plants. I don't think the owners are making a lot of money keeping an aquarium in the store, but he seems to really enjoying it. You should be fine as long as you respect their rules.

Fantastic experience: This place has recently been put under new management and is an excellent planted aquarium fish shop. They have a new and wider selection of aquatic plants, supplies and equipment available.

Negative experience: 4 star for the bouquet, 1 star for the customer service. This Cantonese-speaking couple was weird (I can speak the language but I like going undercover sometimes). I asked if they have flower bouquets and they said no at first. I literally saw a whole fridge of them inside the store and said “then what’s that?!”, then they said I cannot walk in due to COVID restrictions. Fair. I told them, can you show me some bouquets? They still said no but then told me I can quickly walk in and look. What a way to confuse your customers! Walked in, grabbed two bouquets and the boss lady asked if I had cash. I paid in cash but she still charged me tax. The two bouquets were $29.50 before tax but she told me to give her $34. Not only did she charge me tax for a cash only transaction (which she didn’t put into her register), she also short changed me and charged me slightly more, the total was suppose to $33.35 but she’s terrible at calculating. The bouquets were nice but I won’t come back, the service was just terrible and the couple here is awkward.

Positive experience: Great place to pick up flowers but don't expect any costumer service from these guys. Also they have a wide range of domestic fishes and turtles inside.

Negative experience: I went into the store and inquired about certain plants but they did not seem helpful or knowledgeable. My sister went to look at the aquarium in the back of the store and was video taping the cute fishes when the owner rushed to the back and demanded her to delete the video and photos because it was not allowed. As we were leaving, I heard them cursing at us in Chinese. This is definitely not a place I’d ever want to go back to nor buy anything from. I am extremely disappointed by how disrespectful and rude the owners were. Never again!
