Fantastic experience: Yes, they don’t pick up the phone, but they have a very large variety of Koi fish quite large and quite small butterfly and non-butterfly very good variety very impressed but it’s a little bit pricey & The lady working the front desk was very nice as well they also have very nice aquariums and other fish very exotic wow I felt like I was in a museum

Fantastic experience: They have a lot of types of fish like betas Koi and more I really like to set up because The beta fish have a Lotta room to move and stuff like that

Negative experience: Drove over an hour to come here because I am looking into getting some sort of fish. I walked in the door, rung the doorbell, waited 2 minutes assuming maybe it didn’t work since we didn’t want to be a bother. Rung it again, waited another 2 minutes to no avail. Knocked on the door and waited again yet no answer. As a last ditch effort I called their number to be ignored as well. All this to be ignored. DO NOT waste your time coming here. Just go elsewhere, there’s other places that value business.

Negative experience: I ordered a fish and she was shipped the next day. I have since spent over two weeks trying to get this fish back to health to find her floating this morning. That was quite a waste of $240. Communication is terrible, the owner/employees refuse to respond in a timely manner. They need to quarantine their fish before selling to the public, and they need to learn how to return messages. I was going to respond but after 4 fish dying from the same order, I will be ordering from sellers in the US

Fantastic experience: I was in the shop this past weekend. Absolutely love the fish in this store, a lot of very high quality fish. For any goldfish enthusiasts this is definitely a treasure of the city. Second to none around the gta as far as quality goes. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very clean and well kept tanks/water. It’s been almost a week now and all the fish purchased are strong, healthy and have settled in my tank nicely. I’d recommend this place to anyone interested in aquatics.

Positive experience: Jennifer was awesome with helping me pick a few ranchu and oranda. Assessed what I was trying to do with a tank and what limitation I may come across and provide helpful advice. Healthy fish, even fertile the next time that I could spawn goldfish fry the next day. I was quite surprised. The shop is a little cluttered and pretty but it's a busy shop. Will be back when I have more tank space.

Fantastic experience: Was referred to Vquatics by a family member. They specialize in Koi fishes and have many other fishes as well. Went here to buy community fishes (Cardinals, Glow and Guppies) for my home tank. Vin was super helpful and was very knowledgeable. Prices were very reasonable and cheaper to other aquatic retailers. Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff. The store and tanks were immaculately kept. They had a good variety of fish predominantly of the koi and high end goldfish variety but had some gorgeous larger rare fish as well.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for year now for my fancy goldfish (Ranchu and Oranda). The staff Vince and Jenny are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s always a wonderful experience coming here. Great selection, honest opinions, good pricing and loyal service. Strongly recommend! (Side note, they also have beautiful koi selection)

Fantastic experience: Vquatics is your go-to Fancy Goldfish Aquarium store. They have extremely hospitable and welcoming employees, who are very knowledgable of all fish, and answer any questions you may have. They're selections of goldfish are so unique and special and I can definitely vouch for this store, and I highly recommend anyone in the aquarium hobby to visit them at least once! They will not dissapoint you. I adopted 2 of my babies from this store and they're thriving and are very happy now. 10/10 store!

Negative experience: People were nice and very knowledgeable, but I bought 3 ranchus and 2 out of the 3 were deformed. One had a swim bladder problem and no longer can swim properly and the other passed away and had a deformity in her mouth. Sadly alot of the goldfish there will probably be deformed it seems like they get the end of the stick for the baby goldfish. I would probably never buy baby goldfish from here again. This has been the most devastating and heart breaking experience I've had with the ranchus. Buy them as adults thier adults are beautiful but don't buy the babies because honestly only one out of the 3 has been healthy and it breaks my heart. I've done everything in my power for them medications, food, water changes, constantly checking parameters but sadly to no avail. Do your research.

Positive experience: I met the owner at Magic Aquarium when I first got into the Fancy Goldfish hobby featuring ranchus. He introduced me to his store aka Vquatics. Although his store is a 15 minute drive from home, I often find myself visiting their shop regularly to learn more about the hobby and just check out their nice fishes. The owner is very busy but he’s also very knowledgeable and nice when you ask him questions. His employee has the same positive attitude towards customers and fish. I like how they are very considerate when selling their fish, they make sure they are in pristine conditions before selling them to customers. Nice fancy goldfish are hard to find in Toronto and I was fortunate enough to secure 3 at a good deal from the owner. I will be returning for their next shipment Only feedback id give is it would be better if owner was more responsive to inquiries. My calls didn’t go through and I had to drive to ask his workers small questions about my order

Positive experience: Thanks to the twin who were manning the shop. Very knowledgeable, very helpful. Good selection of variety to fill a tank. But watchout it’s kinda pricey on fish and supplies. NO discount. Hack, they are closest to me so time saved offset the prices. Got a Betta from them, beautiful, his (or her?) food (great dry red worm imitations $10…small pack size, Made In Japan), and just got a mini external filtration pump $20 as well! Looking good!

Fantastic experience: Great selection of goldfish, which is what I was looking for, and the person helping me was very helpful without being pushy in making sure my tank was set up and the water was tested prior to me getting my fish home. Pretty obvious these folks love and know how to take care of some very beautiful fish! Will be going here for further supplies and questions when I need them

Positive experience: I was last here about 3 years ago but the fish stock is still exceptional. Their goldfish is high quality as always. They have ventured into discus as well. There were some beautiful angelfish as well that you don't usually get from local fish stores. Prices are not the best but you might overlook that because of awesome and healthy livestock. It is not a very big store and there are some repairs or renovation going on. Aquarium supplies are not extensive but you come here for the fish. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Will surely come more often this time around.

Fantastic experience: The owner of "PROAQUATIC" and his wife are amazing!!! I could tell that he definitely cares more about his fish and reputation than he cares about his profit. The fancy gold fish are definitely the highest quality and very well taken care of. While I was at "PROAQUATIC", I noticed alot new tanks, filtration systems and renovations in progress. I couldn't help but feel that this shop will be taking things to the next level very soon. Can't wait to visit Vince and Vivian @ PROAQUATIC again!!!!!

Negative experience: I've now attempted twice to visit this store on multiple occasions only for them to be closed in the middle of the day. I have checked their facebook page prior to driving 2 hours every time and even called on multiple occasions only for no one to answer the phone. Honestly, it's not worth the time or effort if you're not living close by. I will not attempt coming by again.

Fantastic experience: Purchased 3 Canadian Koi, 3 larger Japanese Koi and 2 really cute Ranchu's. Were able to take our time and pick out exactly the fish we wanted with the help and patience of Tony who was really friendly. Excellent prices also on the fish and the food we purchased!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed visiting the shop. I found this place on Instagram and had to drive across the city to my old neighborhood to check them out. I was not disappointed at all. They have a large selection of beautiful great quality koi. The tanks are crystal clean and all the fish look great happy and healthy. They do carry other fish as well. The staff at the store was very friendly and very knowledgeable and answered my questions confidently. Made us feel welcome, he let us take our time and not at all pushy (cant stand pushy customer service) in the end he helped us pick out 2 great looking koi! We Loved this place. Fantastic experience: I decided to start a fancy goldfish tank with my 120 gallon. I bought 12 fancies at Proquatics and 6+months later I'm happy to say all my fish are thriving and colorful as ever. I bought 3 thai orandas, 3 red and white orandas, 3 calico orandas, 2 ranchus and a black moor. These have easily become my favorite fish I've ever owned. They are so friendly and have unique personalities. The fish have seen steady growth and their fins and tails are long and flowing. Proquatics has become my go to store for most of my aquarium supplies. Tony and Dave are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their tanks are crystal clear and their livestock is vibrant and full of energy. You won't find a sick or dead fish in here, which is very important to me as you get peace of mind that you're getting the best quality livestock for the best price. You really need to go in there and see for yourself, you'll fall in love with fancies.

I started by overwintering pond fish in an indoor aquarium & I now have 3 indoor aquariums:) It's not easy to find high quality, healthy or rare goldfish varieties in Canada. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say that my experience with Proaquatics was more than excellent!! Firstly, I spoke with Proaquatics through Instagram where I found a few fish I was interested in. They were quick to answer all my questions and they even sent videos and pictures, so I was able to pick the exact fish I wanted. If you’re looking for a particular kind or colouration, they will go out of their way to look for it in stock. I am from Winnipeg and my fish arrived from Toronto quickly overnight and safely, through FedEx. The fish were doubled bagged, the box was secure, and no leaks. The fish are high quality, healthy and I am more than happy. Would definitely purchase again! :)

Fantastic experience: I have been waiting to come to this place because I can’t find a good quality gold fish near our place. I read a lot of good feedbacks from other goldfishes keepers and when we got there it didn’t disappoint! Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating at the same time. The only negative thing I can say is that it makes me want to buy all those goldfishes and kois if I can have a pond! The drive is definitely worth it and hopefully we can come back for 2-3 more to fully stock our tank.

Fantastic experience: Tucked away middlefield north of Finch a bit. It’s the second plaza. Parking is limited especially when it’s busy. Small store if you’re comapring to Big Al’s, lots of big headed fish and koi. Store owner is really friendly. Update: So the place has new owners and they are expanding their inventory to include salt water fish. Not sure how the new ownership will turn out. They are active on their Instagram page.

Fantastic experience: The owners are very friendly and helpful. They keep me up to date when the new shipments are coming in so there are always new selections for me. This is like the only location in Scarborough that has a lot of Ranchu that have chubby cheeks along with Oranda and butterfly tails. I would recommend you visit this store of you are into fancy goldfish. Prices are very reasonable and you get deals if you buy like 3 together. I would go back and purchase some more in the future to add more to my aquarium collection
