Positive experience: It is a great experience especially for the first time visitors. A lot to explore especially the shark tunnel. So much of waiting the penguin adventure especially if you want to go on a ride. Nothing has changed over the last many years so paying another $55 for the second time is too much. But yes, you always have the option to combine and purchase a package to make it cheaper.

Fantastic experience: We had the best time!! Alyssa showed us all the rockpools and gave such good info and then emma let us know all the deets about the penguins. Epic fun times

Positive experience: Kids loved it.. only draw back was that I had to carry my youngest as alot of the viewing windows were too tall for her to see into (she is 110cm tall)...

Fantastic experience: Sea life Sydney aquarium. A must visit while you’re in Sydney. Conveniently located within Darling Harbour offering a true sea experience with guaranteed something cool for anybody. From small exhibits to everyone’s favourite the big sharks. In-depth information on each exhibit really giving you a proper understanding of what you are viewing. Fairly priced. Tickets are to be purchased at electronic vending outside of the aquarium. Multiple local multi story car parks with a small walk to aquarium itself in Darling Harbour . A bit of walking and stairs involved . Staff are friendly and helpful . Small on-site cafe/convenience store for nibbles lunch or a drink. Can get busy during peak time such as school holidays and weekends so pick your times wisely. However, ticketing system works in increments of people to prevent overcrowding. Great value great experience . Would recommend .

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place never disappoints to amaze me. Just got little upset because penguin expedition staff was visibly annoyed because we didn’t get what she said exactly. But at last beautiful place with proper management. Just a friendly reminder to all of the staffs. Everyone doesn’t understand English pretty well thats why we need to be little more generous to others too. “Collect memories, not worries.”

Fantastic experience: Great exhibits and very cool animals. Staff was very friendly. Penguin experience was closed so that was a bummer. Facilities were nice. I don’t mind paying the ticket cost or more to support wild life.

Negative experience: WE HAD THE WORST TIME HERE - The security guard shouted at my child and I had to call management - then the security guard shouted at my partner and I and said if we cant understand English, we should go home - this personn, I use, that term, generously, doesn't know we were born and raised in Australia - I a taking this further with management and posting all over socials - we felt threatened and the whole experience was incredibly incredibly terrible and horrific.

Negative experience: We went since it bundled with admission to Wild Life, but this was just as disappointing as Wild Life. The dugong was wonderful to watch, however, the small enclosures were sad to see for such intelligent creatures. Additionally, the extensive ramps to get through the tunnels were not worth it at all. If I were you, I would probably skip that part all together. Too many people, you're literally going in circles, climbing down and back up, it's not worth it at all.

Positive experience: We really enjoyed the experience and the exhibits overall, but it was extremely crowded and the tunnels became quite congested. Even with staggered entry times, it felt a bit overwhelming at times, and we couldn’t see some exhibits properly because of the crowds. That said, the shark tunnel and the exhibit with all the rays were definitely the highlight.

Fantastic experience: The aquarium was amazing, a lot to see and all very beautiful. I do recommend not going in the weekend as it can get extremely busy.

Negative experience: We went to Madame Tussauds and they sneakily charged us for Sea Life as well! Never been ripped like this before. We caught a flight right after, and had barely an hour to fill. Can't believe they are running such scams. Shameful to have Aussie businesses stoop to these levels.

Positive experience: For the price you pay, it was an underwhelming experience. Unfortunately, our day started off with a staff member staring at my children when telling "whoever did it" off for knocking on the glass - it was in fact the old man next to us who did it! Quite stupidly too, he was knocking the wood to see how solid it was. I was too shocked by his lack of ownership to his wrongdoing, AND his wife, who also just let my kids cop the blame, to correct the staff member. So in future, staff members should probably figure out who actually did the wrongdoing before making assumptions and eyeing the wrong people. It feels like the facilities need an update to have more walking room, as it was quite tight despite us visiting outside of peak times. This made it feel rushed, as we needed to keep moving along so that others could move along behind us, which meant we could not truely enjoy the experience. We were actually told "tell the people at the front to move along" - the people at the front were poor families with prams and small children, trying to view the exhibit. We had to skip that area because of the tight space. The penguin boat ride was something we looked forward to, and was great but extremely short and for us, the penguins were unfortunately better seen from the viewing window than from the boat ride. There were a lot of experiences with walking underneath the water, which was fantastic. We really would've liked to have been able to make lots of little stops to read the fun facts on the walls. Perhaps they were designed for a crowded day with a slow pace..it was just sadly very rushed for us.

Fantastic experience: So fun! Walking through the glass tunnels surrounded by sharks and stingrays was incredible. Great educational experience for kids and adults alike. Tickets are worth it—allow a few hours.

Positive experience: I was a bit disappointed im sorry to say. I found it very hot inside the Aquarium. Uncomfortably so. There was lots of walking where you didn't see anything. Down and up the ramps. Nothing to look at. I thought the glass was very dirty and hard to see the fish when the sunlight was coming through. Some of the lights were very bright and right in your face. The boat ride was very short in the penguin area. Would of been nice if the boat paused at the penguins for a bit. I didn't come out thinking wow that was great.

Fantastic experience: One of the best aquariums I have ever visited. Much larger than expected and has a lot of walk thru aquarium tunnels. Originally just wanted to go to the Wildlife zoo, and saw that they offered a combo pass for a few dollars more (including Madame Tussauds & Sydney Eye). Definitely worth it to buy the combo, these venues are near each other and can easily knock out. Go early in the day to avoid a line to get in.

Fantastic experience: SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium was absolutely fantastic! The variety of sea creatures was incredible — from sharks to colorful tropical fish, and the underwater tunnels made you feel like you’re truly underwater. The exhibits are well-maintained and educational, perfect for all ages. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even better. A fun and memorable outing for families and marine lovers alike. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I loved it! It's so much better than the Melbourne Sealife aquarium. The only drawback was that so many people stopped to take photos in the middle of the walkways.

Fantastic experience: Finally checked this out after living in Sydney for ages, figured I had to since it’s always hyped as a must-do tourist spot. Was expecting it to be a bit overhyped, but honestly? It was better than I thought. The penguin boat ride was the highlight. you hop on this little raft and cruise past different penguin zones. Super peaceful, kinda felt like I was in a theme park ride but slower and colder. Penguins were waddling around doing their thing, some were just posted up like bouncers at a club. The turtles just floated up and stared at me which was a nice experience. The stingrays and sharks gliding over you in the tunnel also made for a cool moment, and there’s something oddly calming about watching fish drift around while kids scream somewhere in the distance. Honestly, good spot to kill a couple hours. Would recommend if you’re in the area or just want something lowkey to do.

Fantastic experience: Grandparents with three grandchildren 7,5 and three It cost us around $160 for tickets online. I was quite surprised that they put a time of entry on them but I guess it’s too scatter the admission throughout the day. Give yourselves a good two hours to wander through slowly and take in all the activity and viewings inside. We took a packed lunch and cold drinks with us and we had that in front of the big window towards the end It really isn’t anything I’d like to change Because the whole experience was educational and fun and you didn’t know what was around the corner The best thing we enjoyed was the penguins on ice And make sure you take the boat ride They fill the boat pretty quickly it’s really well worthwhile to do it You pay enough money to go and see it so why not do it all? There is a virtual reality booth which is $18 a person and the two older children had fun doing that you pay for it upon entry to the VR booth I take your photos as you enter, but you’re not expected to buy them You can take cameras, you can wear anything Thank you for the lovely day. We finished it with ice cream sitting looking at the water outside.

Fantastic experience: I bought a multi ticket to see four different experiences. Wild Life Zoo? Done! Madame Tussauds? Done! Sea Life Aquarium? Done! All fantastic experiences. I originally thought that the aquarium would have been the least interesting for me, but I have just completed an interesting 50-minute walk through the aquarium - and that was without stopping to read the information. Thoroughly recommended! I am off to the Sydney Tower Eye this afternoon, which I have done before and know will be fantastic.

Fantastic experience: It’s great day out with the kids my advice is to avoid weekends, public and school holidays so you can get your money’s worth without the queues and wait times as the space is pretty tight All the exhibitions are worth seeing especially the dugong

The boat ride through the penguin habitat was super .it took longer to get on and off than the actual ride was. But has to wait in a line for ride. But worth to wait. shark tank-walk through with lots to see. Lots of fishes. Feel like walks under the sea.

Fantastic experience: It is a beautiful place to take your children to have fun, learn a lot from the aquatic world and there are many different species. The place has very clear and precise instructions. well distributed

Positive experience: Went for my mokopunas 3rd birthday. Had 6 different cars in our party. 2 boys with significant sensory needs in my family. They did really well. All the kids enjoyed it. Maybe not as much v as the y could have as it was packed.

Positive experience: As far as aquariums go, this one is just ok. There are several interesting fish to see. Feels very touristy and was a bit crowded so you just followed along in the queue, not really getting to pause in any one location without being in the way. Starts off a little cheesy but does get more interesting as you go along. Good activity for young children or looking for an indoor activity to get out of the weather.

Positive experience: Loved it! The dugong alone was worth it, because where else will you see that? Super cute. The boat ride through the penguin habitat was super short, and while cool (literally!), it took longer to get on and off than the actual ride was. Not worth waiting in a line, if there is one. The penguins are cute, shark tank cool, the rays (eagle rays?) amazing, and it is an easy walk through with lots to see.

Fantastic experience: Last year, I visited Sydney as an exchange student, and I always wanted to go to SEA LIFE Sydney for once in my life. I planned to visit with my friend, but ended up going alone because she found the problem with the public transportation around her home stay. It was holiday, full of people but I found it was nice because it made me feel less lonely going there alone. The staffs were really nice to me making me felt so happy, and thought it was worth to visit. I asked a female staff to take pictures of me because I wanted to share them to my family that wasn't in Sydney with me. She was so willing to help me and even guided me how to take perfect pictures with fish. I was so happy and appreciated it. The experience makes me want to visit Sydney for visiting Sea Life Sydney again. And also encourages me to travel alone and enjoy the time with myself more, thank you.❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Always busy for a good reason, knowledgeable staff and a range of exhibits. Allow about 2-5 hours, especially if you want to hear the talks. Interactive exhibit was incredible, we were able to touch a variety of creatures.

Positive experience: Lovely place with great attractions to kids and adults as well. We enjoyed this place a lot.

Fantastic experience: It's a must place if you are in Sydney. You will get to see not only various kinds of fish, but you can also touch star fish. You can see penguins & can have a boat ride to see them closely. The best part is the tube, on passing it you will see the shark & various other beautiful fishes too. Take at least 3 hours with you to visit this place & yes you will also find a souvenir shop in the end.

Fantastic experience: The aquarium was larger than I expected, and the variety of marine life was truly impressive — it’s definitely worth a visit. You can easily spend 2 to 3 hours here, making it a great spot for families with children. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn about and connect with the ocean. Hopefully, experiences like this will inspire more people to care about marine ecosystems and help preserve these natural wonders for the future.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience going to Sea Life Sydney with a friend. We did the Penguin Encounter experience together and it was a unique time that we both enjoyed and appreciated. Andrew, Steph and Jeff took care of us and were all absolutely wonderful. We learnt so much about Penguins that we didn't know beforehand, and it was so fun to watch them frolic and swim about, and they were super curious and interested in us too. They all had unique personalities and were so cool to watch be themselves It was kinda magical, and something I'm glad to have experienced. The rest of the aquarium was fun to explore afterwards, and all in all we had a wonderful time at Sea Life. Thanks again to Andrew, Steph and Jeff, they really took care of us and absolutely enhanced our experience!

Positive experience: The inside is spacious, and various sea creatures are on display. In particular, the "Shark Walk" offers an exciting experience of watching sharks and rays swim overhead. The "Penguin Expedition" allows you to take a boat ride to observe the penguins' habitat up close, which was very popular with children.

Fantastic experience: Went to see the animal crossing collab. Decent sealife. Enjoyed seeing pig. Good to visit at least once.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit with my sons and wife. I believe to spend a whole day will be worth it . Main attraction is Penguin.

Positive experience: Quite enjoyable if you can go at your own pace. Penguin ride was a bit underwhelming but still an experience worth going. Bring a jacket. It can get a bit crowded.

Negative experience: Previous visits have been 5 . But today was a horrible experience. Birthday party of 10, and from the moment we should in the line to get into the moment, we made our escape 99 minutes later. We stood shoulder to shoulder like cattle only moving with the crowd to prevent getting stampled on. You couldn't independently make a decision to go anywhere except where the crowd was taking you. The line to the sharks tunnel snaked all the way uo the ramp to the surface and probably further out with only walking forward a few steps every 5 minutes. It didn't feel at all like they had a cap of visitors, and in case of an emergency, there would have been no safe place to go. Staff were overpowered to move the crowd on due to the sheer size and noise. Will be a long time before I return.

Positive experience: Usually a great experience - but the lines and flow of people was significantly hindered by the volume of prams. Would be much better if prams were better controlled. There are also limited toilet options while inside - this is challenging with kids + queues. On a busy day - it’s a bit of a waste of money with kids. To avoid delays and lines, and make the most of the money spent - I’d recommend visiting on a weekday or during a time (early etc) where prams will be limited.

Fantastic experience: Was 1st in on day and it was amazing.. no wait. My boys had the best time. So cheap when you get it in the combo.

Fantastic experience: Just a lovely little time visiting the Animal Crossing exhibit at Sealife and reading all the fish facts. Pig the Dugong and the jelly fish room were highlights. Wouldn’t recommend coming here on the weekend if you can help it and wouldn’t recommend waiting more than 10mins for the penguin Macquarie expedition ride.

Fantastic experience: Really impressed with the Sydney Aquarium! Such a good variety of marine life and the displays are absolutely beautiful. The kids loved the sharks and penguins, and walking through the underwater tunnels was a definite highlight. Both kids really like the VR experience too. Everything was really well set up and easy to navigate. Great day out and well worth a visit if you’re in Sydney.

Fantastic experience: Been to the aquarium many times. Came for the Animal Crossing X SeaLife exhibit. Unfortunately didn't get to meet Isabel but completed the stamp rally! Attaching meet & greet times for anyone else who comes with a little snippet of what's inside. Also, if you can, visit on a weekday! I entered at 3pm and there was barely anyone there, the penguin ride was closed but got to see Dugongs eating, sharks mating and penguins fighting. Lastly, I'm a FT uni student - you can get a discount student ticket! Just show your student ID at the door

Positive experience: The aquarium is a significant cost for a family, especially when it's only a half day activity. Lines were long and slow moving to get in, and once you got inside, it was overly crowded. Significant waits to see the tanks, which is obviously difficult for children. There are tablets next to the tanks to read the information, however this means you can't read it from a few people back, and if anyone else touches it, you lose your page of information. It was better with larger plaques/signs so you didn't have to be right in front of it to read/control the information. As a result, we couldn't discuss all the various fish and animals in the tanks, as we weren't able to see the information to pass along to the child. There is a tiny cafe area halfway through the aquarium, but very minimal space to sit and eat/drink. It's around the dugong tank, with some bench seats and a small number of tables. Difficult to stop for a snack. Inside was extremely humid, which I would expect at the aquarium, but then after a line up of ~1 hour to go on the penguin boat ride, it is absolutely freezing (bring a jacket for any children!) Overall, an expensive way to spend half a day, but my child still had a good time.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I went to the aquarium for the penguin encounter. We had Xander and Allyra hosting us and they both were beyond amazing. First Xander met us outside and went over safety questions. He mentioned some of the spirited penguins to prepare us for what we might encounter. He then brought us inside and Allyra gave us more information about the penguins while we were in the enclosure. Both of our guides were very informative and really funny and easy going. Overall the experience was amazing and I’m glad I got to do it with Xander and Allyra. The rest of the staff at the aquarium were also warm and welcoming. They helped my friend and I get throughout the aquarium.

Fantastic experience: the place is good but prepare to walk in circles for hours due to how the in and outs are shaped, also more things to do would be good even if it was extra charge such as diving or a boat ride, overall great experience but we definitely need a mich bigger and more open place in sydney

Fantastic experience: An absolute must if ever you visit Sydney. Having been to the aquarium a number of times through the years, we recently attended a Nintendo/Animal Crossing event and it exceeded our expectations! It truly is a state of the art experience, having gently gone through some upgrades. Note, if you are neurodivergent or (have a child) who is there’s a sensory room which you can access. Tip: pre purchase tickets online to save time beforehand, especially if you want to do some of the rides/attractions inside.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE YOU PIG!!!! Me and my partner had such a great time here. It was obviously quite busy due to it being a public holiday but we still got to have a look at everything which was great. The highlight of the trip was definitely pig the sea cow

Positive experience: Great aquarium for kids. Has a great mix of interactive displays and is deceptively big compared to what it looks like on the outside. Only criticism is that it's a little on the expensive side, especially for a family of 4. I feel like it would be a good idea to have discounted tickets for local families that visit frequently. I am local and would love to visit more but it just gets too expensive.

The underwater tunnel was a highlight a truly amazing experience. It’s also very kid friendly, with plenty to explore and enjoy. Definitely worth a visit for families.

Positive experience: The tanks are huge and awesome!! Loved the "pathway" through the whole aquarium and loved the good signage for which way to go and where the toilets were throughout. Loved the little snack station in the middle, and the interactive displays to identify all the sea life.

Positive experience: Allow lots of time during the school holidays. I thought we could take a browse and be out in an hour, but once you're in, there's no real way to turn back or leave early. Exhibits are well kept, and the dugong was a highlight.

Fantastic experience: Incredible staff, so friendly and eager to talk about the animals. It’s clear that the people here really care for the animals, and the enclosures are so big and spacious, and making sure they’re not distressed or stressed. Really lovely day out!

Positive experience: I've done a few of sea life now it's up there. The penguins are the highlight for me. Great for the young and old. Really enjoyed you can do it all in about 1h half if your by your self go early as it gets really busy. ♥️❄️

Positive experience: Had a really good time at SEA LIFE Aquarium in Sydney. There was so much to see—lots of cool fish, sharks, and penguins. The penguin boat ride was fun and definitely worth the wait in line. One of the best parts was walking through the glass tunnel and seeing the sea animals swimming above. The place wasn’t too big, but there was enough to explore and enjoy. Great spot to visit if you’re in Sydney, especially with friends or family. Would totally recommend it for a relaxed day out.

Fantastic experience: SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium was a wonderful place to explore with the kids and a perfect way to kick off our visit. It took us quite a while to make our way through, with so much to see and enjoy. If you're an RACV member, I’d highly suggest checking for available discounts—we managed to get a great deal. The kids were thrilled by the sight of massive sharks, stingrays, and especially the dugong. We were lucky to catch the dugong feeding, which was a highlight of the visit. One of the best parts was the short boat ride included with general admission that takes you through the penguin enclosure. Though brief, it was a unique experience and well worth the short 10-minute queue—just something to keep in mind if you're visiting with little ones. Personally, I found SEA LIFE Sydney more engaging than the Melbourne counterpart, thanks to its layout and the variety of interactive exhibits.

It's great to see the massive sharks over your head as you pass through the glass ceiling walkways. Also there is a dugong inside one of the tanks. Also Penguins!

Fantastic experience: Came here recently to experience the Animal Crossing activation on and really loved it. We pre-booked tickets online through Pelago and it was much cheaper than their website. Came on a Monday outside of school holidays and it wasnt too bad but still busier than expected. Absolutely loved the penguins and really love the tunnels you can walk through.

Fantastic experience: Love going to the aquarium! Great to learn about the different sea creatures and see them in person. Lots of photo opportunities as well. Went for the Animal Crossing collaboration - stamp rally was very fun, Blathers little posters of info were great, saw Gulliver , and meet and greet with Isabelle. (Though sadly the check in wasn't working and one of the stamps broke but we were able to still redeem the postcard and they had someone with the stamp at the exit.)

Positive experience: Attended for the most recent animal crossing collaboration in place with sea life and Nintendo. The aquarium has had many upgrades since I last visited and as such was a great day out for myself and my 2 year old niece. The animal crossing theming and meeting Isabelle was an added bonus.

Positive experience: It was a very lively experience. I went with my best friend to go to this, as I haven’t been there from when I was a very young little lad in a stroller. Now, there was a cross over event happening at the same time, the Animal Crossing event. Keep that in mind. The crowds were a mix, it can be overwhelming but you get used to it. However I would keep in mind that it can get full around 1-3pm, so, the earlier you go, the better. The aquarium was very beautiful and the mini little info screens about the creature and facts about them was informative and clearly stated well. The creatures themselves was beautiful and the experience to see them was amazing, however, cleanliness of the tanks can be a little bit better, that’s my only criticism I have to say. The Animal Crossing cross-over event was very cute and it is perfect for all ages. I will be clear when I say, they should do something like this for not just that game alone but maybe events for every month to add something extra to the aquarium. The stamp rally and meeting Isabelle was my highlights. In summary; Going to the aquarium bought me back to my childhood where my only way to feel some kind of joy as I was an overwhelmed child with severe autism was going out and seeing cute animals. It made me nostalgic and feel happy to see these creatures to life while I was able to even feel starfishes! Just please clean the tanks and that’s all we ask. 8/10.

Positive experience: The Animal Crossing experience was basic but fun. Love watching the penguins and the stingrays too. Great place for kids, but if you have problems walking long distances, this is not the place for you.

Fantastic experience: Lots of wonderful sea creatures usually only seen at the Great Barrier Reef.

Positive experience: Visited the place so the kids can enjoy so I didnt expect much but ended actually enjoying myself! lol Crowd was tolerable size as we visited on a monday morning. Some areas were more crowded than others especially the “touch and feel” zone so we kinda skipped that one. We enjoyed the fresh water sea exhibit with the arapaimas and australian lungfish! they were pretty big! we also saw pretty lionfishes, cute squids and awesome sharks! the walk through tunnels were amazing and easily a crowd favorite! there was also a short and sweet boat ride to see penguins and a part of the tunnel where you can see dugongs if youre lucky! Both adults and kids definitely had a good time.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly busy on a rainy Saturday. It doesn’t look big on the outside but you can easily spend 1-2 hours here, especially if queuing for the penguin expedition boat ride. Our kids were too hungry and tired for the boat ride but hope to catch it in the future. The exhibits are plentiful and well maintained. The highlights were the manta rays and sharks.

Positive experience: Sea Life Sydney was a great place to spend the morning on a rainy day. I loved that the flow of it allowed visitors to see everything without missing anything. There was a great variety of sea life to see and experiences to be a part of. The interactive information tablets next to many of the displays were fun to check out and learn about the different animals. The things keeping this review from being 5 stars: bathrooms are limited and have only few toilets in each- there were traffic jams at the entrance and near the exit because of it- also for the amount of people visiting here and the other 2 adjoining attractions in the same building- there should be parking for this location! We paid over 60$ to park down the street and make the trek to the aquarium- they dont even offer parking ticket validation so it could be cheaper. Insanity.

Fantastic experience: A great place to visit no matter what your age. Lots of walking but all ramps, not stairs. Good for wheelchairs or prams. Not our first visit, certainly not our last.

Positive experience: Good variety to see. The highlights were the two underwater corridors where you can see the dugong, sting rays and sharks. Buying tickets online in advance seems to be cheaper. It's a linear path but takes about 1.5-2 hours to see depending on how quickly you go. The "ride" in the penguin chamber was a bit anticlimatic but otherwise everything else was good. There were still lots of people on a weekday morning, though no waiting time for anything. I imagine it would be busier on a weekend.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time at the Sydney SEA LIFE Aquarium! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was spot on—the smells, sounds, and lighting all created an immersive underwater world that felt exciting and calming at the same time. The set designs and exhibit structures were incredibly well done, making you feel like you were journeying through real aquatic environments. We were also impressed by how well-thought-out the layout was—easy to follow, never felt crowded, and everything flowed naturally. All the animals were visible and active, which made the experience even more magical. From vibrant fish and graceful rays to the playful penguins and sharks, everything looked healthy, happy, and absolutely gorgeous. Best of all, it wasn’t overly busy when we visited, so we had plenty of time to enjoy each exhibit without feeling rushed. Truly a highlight of our Sydney trip—perfect for both kids and adults. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Definitely a must-visit for underwater zoo enthusiasts. It was a fun experience for me, especially the close-up with the penguins. The underwater tunnel is beautiful as well, if not for a few dirt here and there but beyond that, it’s an experience worth taking. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Fantastic experience: I booked our tickets one month in advance, and we visited on a Monday. There was no hassle entering the place since there was no waiting in line. We were astonished by the variety of fish, penguins, sharks, stingrays and we saw Dugong having her snack. It was a great experience! People of all ages will enjoy it! They also have a photo booth and a Sea Life shop for souvenirs inside.

Negative experience: Expensive, crowded, and not maintained well. I have been visiting Sea Life with my kids for some years. But we took a bit of break and visited the aquarium after 2 years. The ticket prices have gone up and despite booking tickets in advance and for a certain time-slot the place was crowded. My kids couldn’t get close to more than half of the sea creatures because of the sheer crowd. On top of that it seems the quality of maintenance has dropped dramatically with stains on the glass enclosures clearly visible (see photos). Unless you are desperate to see fishes, there are other places worth spending your money on your kids. Note: Ticket prices says photos are included but they are not. You will have to pay extra to get them printed. Some digital photos are free.
