Negative experience: Bought 4 fancy goldfish here. When getting from tank in store there was 2 fish floating on 1 tank and 1 floating in another tank. Got them home put in tank within 1 day 1 died and within 3 days another 1 died. Rang them to be told to bring in a sample of water from tank. When brought sample in they came up with a lot of excuses regarding different things wrong with water even tho i have 2 older fish in tank that are ok. They will not refund or replace them. Been buying from here for years. Will not buy anything from this shop again. Will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Been getting my fish from Ben the owner for many years when they were in Milford haven and now in the massive new premises. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly. massive choice of tropical and cold water fish on display plus creepy things like snakes and lizards and bugs " I don't like snakes so I don't venture in that area of the shop. But if you need anything fish related from ponds to tropical tanks then this is the company to use. Sadly they dont stock marine aquatics as the cost of importing is way to expensive and the price kept rising beyond what is reasonable to pay. But overall five star service and a pleasure to buy from. Good job Ben and all the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place for fish and plants and anything else to do with fish indoor/outdoor! Definitely the best place I've been to for tropical fish. We had little Ben help us (the managers name is ben too.. lol) and he was the most helpful person I've come accross too as he was very knowledgeable with any questions thrown at him! Fantastic experience: Have visited this welcoming store just off Merlins Bridge roundabout several times to find helpful advice before buying fish pond pumps etc and can highly recommend as it has a comprehensive range of stock for ornamental exterior ponds or indoor aquaria with a variety of aquatic plants and fish food supplies at hand. Plenty of fish to view in tanks of all sizes...and free parking too!! Well worth a look!!

Negative experience: Bought a few fish of different breeds from this shop. One died shortly after being introduced to the tank. One had only one eye. Within a week we have lost many of our original fish to disease and bacterial infections that were introduced by these fish. Avoid!!! These fish from this shop came with pop eye!!! We have lost some of the fish bought from this shop and 25% of our original fish. Very upset and annoyed.

Fantastic experience: I get all my koi food and uv bulbs for my ponds here. The staff are helpful and the range of pond, aquarium equipment and fish are vast. There is also a range of retiles and spiders.

Negative experience: A nice shop. On my visit I seen only 2 staff members who I had zero interaction with. They appeared more interested in the own conversation. I spent around 15 minutes looking at there selection of tropical and gold fish witch there's not much still no staff interaction. On the 2nd floor there is a good selection of fish tanks vivariums after still no staff interaction I looked at the reptiles for around 5 minutes I decided not to purchase anything and left the shop. The 2 stars are solely because of the lack of staff interaction witch is required in this business not good.

Fantastic experience: Wow, amazing place! Really great range of cold water fish and although being December, still had some pond fish, particularly lovely koi, which I'm sure could be reserved from what I understand. Also, reptiles etc and start-up sets for them - brilliant. Great range of food products for everything they sell. Makes a real change from the poor range etc of Maidenhead Aquatics, which seem to be taking over and almost to the exclusion of anyone else and overcharging for fish that tend to last less than a week. Worth the hour long drive there.

Fantastic experience: This store is definitely a large store which is made even better with their very knowledgeable staff who were really friendly and happy to offer assistance and advice. Upstairs has a good range of tanks whilst downstairs has the fish, reptiles and tank accessories. The majority of tanks were well stocked and fairly priced, some even showed their stockists which was really nice to see. I'll definitely be back even if it's just to get advice on a tank set-up although there is a very high risk I'll come out with more than I originally went in for!

Unfortunately there isn't enough staff members to deal with the amount of customers in what is a very busy shop. Fantastic experience: I started visiting Coast Aquatics in December '21 when I wanted to get my first tropical aquarium. From the start I got to know Stuart mainly who was brilliant at advising me about the most appropriate tank, filter, lighting substrate etc. The most impressive aspect of dealing with the staff was that they don't judge you at all on your experience or knowledge level. I was a bit apprehensive at first going in there knowing as little as I did, but they soon helped me and advised me accordingly, something which I'm greatly appreciative about. Having visited there several times now, it's clear to see that a lot of the customers are very experienced in fish keeping and know exactly what they want and what they're doing so it means a lot to a beginner like me that they have the time to help get me on the right track. The store itself is very spacious and full of a variety of fish tanks and fish to look at, you can spend an hour admiring the fish and forget what you went in there for. There are lots of tank accessories and fish foods to cater for all aspects of fish keeping. My autistic daughter loves looking at the fish as it's a very calming experience for her. Coast Aquatics is my go to place now for anything fish related, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have a Fluval Flex 57L tank that is 3 months old and heavily planted. The past 2 weeks the plants had become heavily coated in algae. I visited the store on Sunday with the intention of buying some snails but after chatting to your guy, he advised cutting down on lighting and getting some Otocinclus. Just 2 days later and the difference is phenomenal! These 4 tiny fish have eliminated almost all of the algae and my plants are looking so much better so a big thank you to the guy that was in the store on Sunday, sorry I didn’t get his name.

Fantastic experience: Have been working down haverfordwest for a couple of weeks and have passed the shop many times meaning to stop and have a look, well I did this week and was not disappointed. The fish stock and quality was probably the best I have seen, as for the staff the gentleman was on his own due to staff illness but could not do enough to answer my questions and generally chat about fish. After my visit I have decided to buy another tank so will be down in the new year to decide what to fill it with, which might be a problem as I wanted them all. Keeps up the good work and see you soon.

Negative experience: Very poor, I could see that they had a good range of fish and equipment. Trying to get served was my problem. The person behind the counter was talking on the phone for over 20 minutes as I stood near by waiting for assistance. When he fanaily finished his phone conversation he then replaced the phone looking me in the eye and walked off.
