Fantastic experience: If you are a tropical or marine aquarist, Waterworld Aquatics owned and operated by William and daughter Chelsea is a paradise of all things fishy. The selection of fish and all related water creatures over their 30+ tanks is unrivalled. The high quality of fish and cleanliness is top notch and their endless knowledge of fish keeping provides a long-lasting impression on myself and many other fishkeepers that I know. The selection of hardware from all the big name manufacturers is superb and if they do not have it in stock, they will get it in and all at competitive prices. Can't get better than that. Weekly deliveries of fish ensures their varied stocks are kept high and interesting. Highly recommended and certainly for me, well worth the long drive.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Willie and Chelsea for more than 20 years. This is an excellent shop, knowledge is excellent and stock is always healthy and a good price. The reviewer that only gave one star should have known the hours would have been different on a bank holiday, after all were they not on holiday. Negative reviews like this are unwarranted. This a family business and all the family go above and beyond for EVERY customer. Keep up the good work guys.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used this aquatic shop regularly for over two years and have never had a negative experience, Will has over 40 years experience and his knowledge of all things Aquatic is second to none, Chelsea is also really helpful and friendly, the variety of fish available is always very good and there’s always a member of staff doing tank maintenance. Will also goes out his way to help you and wouldn’t see you stuck if he can help, overall my customer experience has always been positive.

Negative experience: Rather annoying to have travelled all the way here from Blair atholl enroute home to see that you are closed and haven’t bothered to update your opening hours on google :(

Fantastic experience: I visited Waterworld aquatics to add more colour to my fish tank. The staff who served myself was named Chelsea, she was very professional and had expertise and knowledge around the fish that would be suited. The shop was clean and in orderly condition, staff were experienced and knowledgeable. Moreover they had a great variety of fish and goods to purchase. Negative experience: Very negative atmosphere with employee moaning about a past member of staff leaving them and going to another shop to work. With a bunch of inappropriate language also how we were spoke to aswell was not polite or a professional manner. Was not best pleased and traveled a long way to have a look. The fish were amazing to see and look at in general very clean and great selection. Tank deals are amazing. Just very sad about the experience we received. I hope this improves for future customers. Negative experience: I have bought from here since early December and I have gone through a number of fish. Each batch that I have bought have died in the span of 2 weeks. I think there may be infection. I have used some medication for the fish, the first time the fish had cotton wool disease, the second time the fish had white spot disease and the third time, I'm not sure as there were no visible symptoms. I will not be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding service from all the staff, the knowledge you walk out with after every visit is enough reason to go, after a few mistakes cycling my marine tank I visited the store and got help with proper testing kits and knowing how to initiate the cycle properly, thank you very much guys can’t wait to visit again.

Fantastic experience: I'm here just reading all the negative comments from my own personal view the only thing I can do is praise the staff the owner and the shop I traveled approx 2.5hr from over the border for some fish the staff were helpful the fish arnt badly priced at all everyone was very helpful it was that much of a pleasure iv been twice more yes sometimes you do have to wait a little but I find that a positive in my eyes because there is that many people wanting fish which to me shows how good the shop and staff are if people call back so on that note all the best for the new year when I will be back up again from over the border Martin

Fantastic experience: I’m not sure how to rate this place. When I first came in, I said hi to the woman at the desk; she glared up and smiled. I walked around the store, looking at the guppies, then the marine section, and finally the cold water fish. Nothing caught my eye. The overall atmosphere was depressing, and I didn’t feel motivated to make a purchase. Overall, my visit was disappointing and underwhelming. I will visit again in a couple of months to update the review.

Fantastic experience: Hi this isn't a review but a question. Are you interested in buying baby guppies from me for £1.50 but willing to negotiate to £1 if buying all, I have about 20 -30. I have also sent the pics of the parents.the fry (5) in the main can live with adults but the fry in the breeder boxes need to live on their own. I can deliver.

Fantastic experience: Willie has been absolutely amazing for me, since iv set up my tank a few months ago. Willie has been super helpful, making sure I was bringing my water in to get tested. He's advised me extensively, on how to keep the tank and what sort of community fish I should go with. I travel in a fair bit, I have been to a couple other shops and not had the customer care that iv received here. Every fish iv got from the shop has been fantastic and disease free. Highly recommend!

Prices are great and the selection is nice and varied. Negative experience: Stood about for almost half an hour, waiting for a member of staff to ask if they could help, no member of staff came near us, walked past us like we weren't even there. Instead the 3 members of staff I noticed, stood at the counter talking to customers for upto half an hour, while other customers waited impatiently. We weren't the only ones who walked out. Went to coral reef instead, far better range of fish and other animals. I was approached straight away by a friendly member of staff to ask what I needed.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant fish shop. It's always great to visit and see what gems they have in stock. Plus some of the best quality C3 Crystal Clear Nitrate Remover Resin in stock. Great Marine section as well as fresh water.

Negative experience: For the third time we have arrived about 11.15 am at the store which is supposed to open at 11 and there's no one there. Sat and waited till half past for no one to show up . Surely if you can't make it for 11am you could change your hours?

Fantastic experience: Other reviews: I was initially apprehensive about attending today due to some reviews saying the staff were rude and inattentive. The staff were friendly, engaged in meaningful conversation & apologised about the card machine not working that day. I’m not too sure where the original reviewers visited but it was certainly not this place either that they were being belligerent and demanding and never got their own way. I rate this establishment 5 stars Lovely shop with a good level of stock and at a reasonable price friendly and helpful staff. Noticed that he was extremely helpful to other customers too. Friendly suggestions: The lighting could be a tad better when it comes to the products on the shelf’s however I feel that this is probably due to going from outside to inside in such a small space of time my eyes hadn’t adjusted completely. There was no pricing on or near the rocks & hardscape items. I probably missed it but just a £/kg on the crates would have been useful.

Fantastic experience: Stunning selection for reef aquatics and corals. I myself came in for cichlids (mbuna peas and haps) I was not disappointed. All fish were in premium health. Not a sunken belly in sight. All beautifully coloured it has transformed my tank. What a hidden gem. The prices were really good and I can't wait till my next visit. All staff were so nice and professional with great knowledge. Thanks guys I'll be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Bought couple of marine fish and a conch for the kids nano. Shop is spotless and well kept and has been going for a long time. Girl in shop was very helpful even taking time to talk to my 7 and 11 year old girls and help choose the right fish. I will be using this shop from now on.
