Fantastic experience: This store boasts high quality and well-bred freshwater and saltwater fish! Goldies are imported from China, big, beautiful, and super healthy. Rosy, odessa, golden, tiger, cherry barbs, and more. Tons of rare tetra species, absolutely gorgeous bettas, ciclids, discus, shrimps both salt and fresh. Otocinclus, corydoras, plecos, etc, if I named everyone, I would be writing a whole novel! Many species of coral, saltwater fish, and even some rare ones you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. The owner is super knowledgeable and kind! This is my go-to spot for anything freshwater aquarium!

Fantastic experience: By far the most important thing you can do for your aquarium is find a good aquarium store!! Which this one is the best in all of the Orlando area!! The fish are superior to all other stores! They really know how to condition the fish so that they have the highest quality.. I’ve been doing aquariums for over 20 years and this place is the key! Everything else becomes easier if you can find a good reliable fish seller!! Go here!! Your fish will do so much better!!

Fantastic experience: Bought my aquarium here 3 years ago, salt water with live rock, coral and fish. Owner is knowledgeable, guided me in proper direction for care of fish, what types of coral to buy, maintenance of the tank and always has a nice variety of fish, foods and all the materials I need when I go in to get my water buckets filled every 6 weeks. A++++++++++. So glad to still have a local owner/operator in our area. P.S. If you want something and you don’t see it just ask he will procure it for you.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic store for fresh and salt water fish, glad it's in my area! I go there for freshwater fish and they regularly stock many hard to find fish. Within the last year I bought green neon, galaxy rasboras, and emerald dwarf rasboras, all of which I have never seen in another store. They also have a good selection of tetras, cichlids, and Goldfish. Skip petsmart or petco and come to ocean blue aquarium!

A++++ Just visited the store again today bought some amazing high quality fish from the best Cardinal tetras I've ever seen in my life they were super jumbo vibrant healthy looking great in my tanks already also some coral red pencil fish amazing quality don't miss this shop this is a true gym here in Orlando!

Negative experience: Just got back from the store and one of two $9 fish are already dead. This trip was to replace a fish that died within 24 hours yesterday... Dead livestock in the tanks and on the floor should've been my warning. Yeesh lfs...

Negative experience: I went into the store to find a small fish for my son. The prices shocked me because some fish were over $100. I asked the curly long haired guy if the prices were correct and he said some fish were rare. I told him I'm looking for Walmart priced fish. He made a snarky remark and said then you should go to Walmart. Then he paused and said I can show you some that we have over here. I cut him off and said No, I don't need your bad customer service. He said excuse me and I repeated myself. I tried to continue shopping to see if I could find an affordable fish but I was so mad that I left. He said Have a good day when I left. I wish Walmart still had fish for sale but they don't. He has some nerve talking to a customer like that. He needs to learn how to control himself and his comments. Just because he's miserable he wants to take it out on others. I will never go back there again!

Fantastic experience: Giving 5 stars because it is locally owned and operated and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Their prices are definitely on point and you can tell they are looking to make money, (it's a business) but they don't price their stock outrageously like the other larger chain stores. Definitely my go to!

Fantastic experience: The fish here are absolutely beautiful! It is obvious that they truly enjoy what they are doing and care for the fish. The clincher for me was when he took his time with my 9 year old daughter about her little shrimp tank. Very encouraging to her. I've gotten a few other fish here and every one has been healthy and done wonderfully.

Fantastic experience: Awesome LFS. Some great fish that aren't commonly available can be found here if you come on the right day. I've seen everything from frontosa to super rare discus, all fairly priced. They have the full product lines from Seachem, Fritz, Aquavitro and many others. It's not the largest selection of fish in town, but what they offer is definitely top notch. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Casselberry area.

Fantastic experience: Purchased a discus from here, was impressed on how knowledgeable the employee was on water parameters and how calm he was even with multiple customers in the store and only one employee to help. Was also impressed with how the discus were VERY lively and curious. Recommend this place for discus. I didnt check mush other fish out tho but I'm sure they're all the same. Also want to mention the clarity of the water was amazing.

Positive experience: I got a really nice Flowerhorn and he’s doing amazing and looks perfect. DOWNSIDE, he had parasites and it infested my tank. Nothing was in it before him. I set it up just for him and it cycled for a week and a half with no issues.

Fantastic experience: Nice place. Mostly marine and reef supply and fish which looks quite thorough with frags and coral. I keep freshwater, not as much selection for fresh but what's there is quite nice and healthy. Really nice cichlids and angelfish as well as live-bearers. I also really like that they keep their Bettas in their main tanks. There's usually one is each tank with other fish. No Bettas in cups which is really nice to see nowadays. Overall I have had good success with fish from here, they're kept well and are usually healthy and lively. Also carries Finnex and some other brands you wouldn't normally find in chain stores as well as a good frozen selection. My preferred place to buy fish if they have it in stock.

Negative experience: everything in there that is salt water is in really bad shape, coral were dying, there like 15 fish in total. And over priced.

Fantastic experience: The gentleman that owns this place is a very experienced aquarist who has very healthy fish and coral. Honestly his frags are some of the largest I've seen in years. Every single specimen looks extremely healthy and is clearly thriving. I had no idea this place existed and now that I know it's there I cannot wait to go back and pick up a few pieces. His freshwater offerings also looked spectacular. The bettas are even kept in very large areas with other fish. It's amazing to see bettas kept in a more humane and responsible manor. I've ever seen anything like it at any fish store ever. I recommend going to check them out next time your in need of something for youe aquarium

Negative experience: Some nice colonies, especially some large soft corals. I appreciated the fresh water livestock much more than the available saltwater animals (which I was there to see). Nothing labelled on the tanks or if it had been, it was from weeks ago or was obviously irrelevant to what was currently in the tank. The setup looked temporary, like the store (recently moved) didn’t have long term plans here. That said it was overall okay (I would give the fresh water side a 3 out of 5), just not confidence inspiring or deserving of repeat business. I came, I saw; I would rather visit one of the many other great reef stores in the area.

Negative experience: I have come by here twice now just to see what they have since there are no stores near my home (hour drive away), both times I have waited 20 minutes for them to open up to no avail. If you say you open at 11:00 open at 11:00, still no body there when I left.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer for over 15 years. They are knowledgeable, friendly and carry top quality products and modern fish tanks. The coral, marine and freshwater selection has also been top notch over the years. I went from discus to saltwater and reef. And have bought my two rimless tanks and led lights there too. Highly recommend!

The owner Vin is great and knowledgeable, answers every single question we have since we are new to the marine reef aquarium hobby. The customer service is great. Vin tests our water for us every time we go and gives us tips and advice. Here at Ocean Blue there are nothing but healthy and happy fish, his livestock is great. I definitely recommend this store to anyone, experienced or beginner.

Positive experience: When I first walked in I thought it was nicely setup, with lots of aquariums to see. One of my first thoughts was that it had a decent variety of fish and accessories to choose from. There were small fish, big fish, silly fish, cute fish, just about a little smaller selection that maybe a place like PetSmart but maybe even more than Petco. There prices were good but not great, about the regular market value. There was little staff to ask questions but he answered what he could and tried to make selections based on what I was looking for.

Positive experience: The store itself was impeccable and the livestock all appeared healthy. But never have I been treated so rudely by the owner and workers. Was in there at least 30 min and no one bothered to ask if I needed help. AND then when I try to ask one question, I get every sales pitch for every reef supplement (Gimmicks) that they have. I will never spend a dime there.

Fantastic experience: I am officially now a loyal customer after looking at fish at a competitors sick fish down the street. The best and healthiest stock in town. I have been going to Ocean Blue for over 20 years (in business for over 25 years). This guy knows his stuff and has a clean store (even while he is in the process of moving locations). His fish and coral are healthy. Some fish prices are slightly higher, but I will pay a couple dollars more for a better product that will not kill my entire tank. You learn things over 20 years of reefing. I agree you may wait to be helped, but it is worth the wait. I like not being hounded like a car dealer when looking at fish and coral.

Negative experience: We went to this store yesterday and I would recommend that you do not go here. We waited for twenty minutes and never even got greeted. Two people working and both stayed with one customer. Did not say hi, or we will be right with you. The Msn and woman looked up at us numerous times and said nothing. They both stayed with this customer not even acknowledging our existence. Unfortunately fir them I went down the road and spent 2000 dollars on fish and coral. I will be posting this same review on every available social media and review platform out there so the owners can’t try to brush this rudeness under the table.

Fantastic experience: This store has been my favorite for 20 years, I have never found another store like it from Cali, Denver, to Florida. You can trust the fish and coral from here, i drive over four hours round trip, its always worth the drive! From the selection to quality of live stock, so glad i am back in Florida.

Negative experience: Weary about this place. The owner was a little odd. They had a light fixture used I was going to buy. He said it was his and was 4 months old. I was going to buy it and asked him if he could show me the settings. He said just to look at YouTube. Then I asked if I buy it and have trouble with it or it doesn't work the first few days I can bring it back for help. He said no, no returns as is. Come on, really, if this was used by you personally then back it up with a 2 day return or show me personally how to use it. This caused him to lose a sale and lose me as a customer. For this I will drive a mile down the road to topshelf where they treat customers fairly.
