Negative experience: Unhygienic tanks, dead and dying fish. Disingenuous salesperson, who told my son that the paradise fish that were spinning around and gasping at the surface were "just having fun, they are playing". Not recommended at all.

Fantastic experience: We are regular customers of Le Tran. Always happy helpful service from the owner. We have purchased many types of fish inc Axolotls. All are energetic , healthy and developing as they should. We haven’t lost a fish yet. Great prices for fish, tanks, gravel, pumps and accessories. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: We asked the owner if gold fish & axolotls can be in tank together he said they can & had them in tanks together himself. Taking his word for it & combining the 2 at home we have discovered they can't as the goldfish is eating the axolotls if I had of known I wouldn't have purchased the axolotls. I feel like this shop was just after a cash grab & did not really care. Now we have to separate them because the poor little fellas being attacked! Shop conditions were very average & so many jammed into tanks. I wish we had have gone elsewhere. Not to mention the poor customer service skills from the lady sitting at the front counter picking at her feet & watching a movie she was extremely rude!

Negative experience: I've never experienced going to a fish shop, and seeing so many fish jammed into 1 tank. So many looked either dead or very sick. There was many healthy but to have that many unhealthy, jammed in an over populated tank that the fish can't seem to swim, move properly . Some squashed pinned under things lifeless.

Fantastic experience: The owner Mr Le was super friendly and was very helpful. Prices are very reasonable

Negative experience: Although he has the lowest prices around, this guy does not care for his fish or customers. a quick look around the shop shows unethical amounts of fish jammed into a single tank. huge coy/oscar fish stuck in tanks where they cant move around at all. cat fish with a deformed bent tail due to its tiny tank. you will see a fair few injured and dead fish floating around too. The owner is very tight and can't communicate well. I have been told fish are compatible together when really they are not, expensive mistake for me. When attempting to return these fish, he offered me back less than i paid for it... refused to return a sick fish sold to me (gourami had black spot parasite - sent him photo evidence) for a refund - as a once loyal monthly customer, I called back 3 days later and this fish was no longer covered apparently. I don't wish to support unethical businesses. don't just believe me, go and see for yourself

Fantastic experience: Recently did a full renovation on my old 4ft tank and the staff at Le Tran Aquarium world were very helpful in my transition from Axolotls to Gold Fish. Well worth a visit - has the cheapest goldfish in Penrith.

Negative experience: Please don't shop here. This place should be shut down. We walked in excited to check out some cool fish, but all we saw were tiny super dirty tanks with listless fish. Some of the fish looked half-dead. Most of the fish were in improperly sized tanks. It was heartbreaking and inhumane. If you care about fish, don't shop here. Absolutely absolutely horrible.

Negative experience: Terrible place. One that should be closed for cruelty to animals. Read the comments and see how many " 5 star ratings are from asian sounding names ( probably relatives or fakes) . I would give it 0 stars if there was an option. AVOID if you have ANY kind of love for fish

Negative experience: I made the mistake of visiting and buying from the closest aquarium to home without looking around; went by the name of Le Tran Aquarium World. When I first entered the store, I was greeted by nothing but a disgusting smell, and then proceeded to weave in and out of empty boxes just to arrive at the fish. Wanting to buy an axolotl, tank and ornaments for it, as well as the necessities (food, water conditioner, etc), the staff offered no assistance at all. All they wanted to do was urge me to buy more than one axolotl, or else it “won’t be happy.” They then proceeded to sell me excessive amounts of gravel for the tank, and as I had no prior experience to axolotls, I was unaware of the harm they could do, buying some. To top it all off, they tried to rip me off by charging me extra. Catching them out, I made them recalculate in front of me, and then they attempted to laugh it off, when, in fact, the most humorous thing about the encounter was that they plotted this in Mandarin, a language I studied in JS. Unaware of this, they then proceeded to cuss in the same language once I recognised their antics. Enter at your own risk.

Negative experience: Bought 2 expansive fish from there within a week both where dead. Tanks are disease stricken.would strongly recommend to stay away from this place .very poor customer service .not open when they say they are.no fish guarantee. Refused to want to help .STAY AWAY

Negative experience: Really disappointed with the Owner, I brought many fish and haven’t had a problem. Then last week I brought a few new fish and they have all died and the Owner was quite disgusting in the way of his service to a loyal customer. I strongly urge everyone to stay away.

Negative experience: Overstocked tanks. The store smells terrible. All the water is yellow and this fish look diseased. Maybe it was a bad day to visit then but I definitely would never buy a fish from here. They have massive fish crammed into tiny sale tanks and I have no idea when they last did a water change. It’s sad because they had a decent range, they just don’t seem to be able to care for them adequately. I cannot recommend this store.

Negative experience: I don't recommend to buy any fish from here as they feeding them with horrible hormon color food. After couple weeks having them home feeding normal (safe) food they will loose all that beautiful color you bought them for.... That type of food should be illegal to use world wide as that makes females stop breeding and makes life of the fish much shorter... anyway you guys can make your own search...

Fantastic experience: Decided to check this place out after hearing about it from my friends and it was so worth it. The owner was very nice and helpful and the prices are good. The tanks are clean and the fishes look healthy and active. I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. A wide variety of different types of cichlids. Has some really nice medium to large American cichlids. Great place, lovely fish Thank you for the awesome fish, will be coming again soon!!

Negative experience: This shop is completly disgusting and appalling. Fish are kept in overcrowded and small tanks. The larger fish can barely turn around. Even in their non selling display tanks, they are severely overcrowded, the placo catfish needed at least 4 -5 times the space provided. I am disgusted by this shop. I will be reporting them for cruelty and mistreatment to animals.

Negative experience: The fish are in teenie tanks. One was diseased, two had one eye, one carp had a spine that was severely curved and then there were the very dead ones. Not good. Not good at all.
