Fantastic experience: The only place to go in the Northern Rivers for expert knowledge of fish keeping. They have everything you need to set up a tiny fish bowl for one fish to a large tank for lots. The variety of exotic fish are fascinating to see. Professional staff are more than happy to answer all your silly novice questions.

Fantastic experience: Great place has great fish. the owners are super nice and I love my fish hobby and I look up to them to have somthing like there shop one day I got a silver perch from there and it’s doing great I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Have been a customer over 20 years now, They are Always ready to help sort out issues like ph and what fish do best for your needs. Fish are healthy, and plants are a bit exe but also healthy.

Negative experience: Went out to look at this iconic place and was so disappointed and surprised to see the state of some of the fish and tanks. We saw so many dead fish in different tanks and other fish eating what was left of them. The large salt water tank had large fish with what looked like disease over them. We were so surprised to see how this place has gone down in only a few months since we were there before.

Great ranges of fish and virtually all of everything you'd need to start and maintain an aquarium or almost anything aquatic. Will be coming back when more water plants are needed.

Negative experience: I Spend around $130 on beautiful live plants for my fish tank, Whilst I was cycling my tank I found heaps of tiny snails all came out from the plants. So heads up if you buy aquarium plants from here make sure you check for snails before use, perhaps wash the plants before planting.

She was so excited and happy, and they were so helpful and patience picking out the perfect fish and shrimp for us. It made it such a lovely experience for her.

He could not believe the amount of fish there was.and the huge fish in the extra large tank was amazing. Tsunami March found it fascinating in my arms, looking at all the different types of fish and the mobiles hanging from the ceiling.we could also take our time and not be bothered by the owners so no hounding. Beautiful plants. Wonderful owner's, very accommodating. Clean premises and carpark. Highly recommended business for all your fish needs. Fantastic experience: Top quality fish that are incredibly healthy and well look after and without a huge price tag the staff a very good and can answer any questions you have about what fish is good for a tank mate what fish are easy to keep and what fish are a little more difficult they take pride in there fish and have the best interests in having that fish go home and stay healthy there not there to just make money and send you home with a fish that you will find it to hard to look after

Fantastic experience: Lovely owners and great quality, healthy fish. I've had no casualties from this store (as opposed to a dodgy Ballina fish shop that sells very sick fish). Would definitely buy from Summerland Aquariums again!

Negative experience: Spent $176 purchasing two new glass fish bowls and fish, food etc for our kids, placed bowls on flat tables in kids rooms and within 6 months, both bowls cracked and leaked, less than a week apart. I let the owners know and was told that "the wholesaler said the glass bowls crack due to atmospheric changes, possibly a storm". No offer of total or even partial refund or exchange. I would have been happy if they retained their costs and refunded profit to spend in store. You have my number if you change your mind. Would be fair to say that glass fish tanks purchased from this business should come with a warning that they may crack due to "atmospheric changes" and there is no warranty or refunds.
