Grand Marais Community Central and RV Park

Positive experience: Stayed one season here. Clean and friendly. Great shower and laundry facilities. Full service with water and electricity hookup. Would be much better if there were holding tanks on each site rather than having to use a portable septic tank to haul your business to the dump station periodically. Good daily maintenance throughout the park. Minutes from Grand Beach. Quiet, in general. One side of the RV park can be a little raucous but always under control. Decent amenities. However, the general store nearby has declined since 2022. Best bet is to shop at the Grand Beach campground for any groceries, toys, clothing, cold drinks, etc. Great farmer's market every Friday throughout the summer until labour day weekend.

Fantastic experience: An interesting small town place with lots to learn from and fun things to do. I highly recommend the friday summer farmers markets that are hosted here!

Fantastic experience: I just found out that there is a year round gym in the community center and memberships. I did a one day pass for $15. Lots of weights, excercise bikes, weight machine and a TRX. They have music and ample water. Small change room. Would recommend.
