Fantastic experience: Very kind staff, and they really care for all their animals, all the fish was taken care of very well, even the bettas! They have a lil rock in the tank! :)

Fantastic experience: Since moving into the neighbourhood Ruffins has become my go to store for my beagles needs. They’re friendly, well stocked and so convenient. The groomer is great with Merlin’s nail trims and we recently also had his teeth cleaned there by Kissable K9. I highly recommend Ruffins.

Fantastic experience: Dani, Jonah and the team are always so knowledgeable with suggestions on nutrition and pet behaviour.

Negative experience: Just sharing that the staff are not that knowledgeable about some of the products. I bought booties for my dog and spent time measuring him from the Canada Pooch site. The staffer insisted he was a size 4. I said probably not but she was convinced. Took them home and of course she was wrong. Back I go. She says size 5. I tried them and told her they seemed too big. No she said. They fit. The only way to really know is to walk outside with them. Dogs don't walk normally in the house. 15 minutes in and the front was folding over and onto the bottom. I contacted Canada Pooch and sent a pic. Just from a pic they immediately said too big. BUT, because I bought in the store, they couldn't offer a refund or credit. And of course, because I briefly wore them outside, the store washes their hands of the problem. So stuck with useless $75 booties. Would I ever trust their judgement again? Definitely not. They make a bad call-Twice. That was an expensive lesson. Other lesson- go directly to the company. Forget the retailer.

Fantastic experience: The staff Katie was very nice today when helping me select a cage for our pets. She was very friendly and smiled a lot and showed us a wide selection of different inventory. She even explained how easy it is to set up the cage after removing it from the box because it is foldable! If everyone was as sweet as her, we would all be a lot better off!!! Even the gentleman I spoke to the day prior over the phone was very nice. If you want great customer service, and great products for your furry extended family, look no further than here!

"I would live with my pet forever, but sometimes I can entrust my pet to a caring person. So I accept that my pet feels at peace when I am away. I create a sense of harmony in my pet's life. I accept that a pet needs a calm environment and its needs met in order to grow. I live together with my pet because I am its owner. I don't need to force myself to love my pet. It is natural to love my pet. My pet is mentally and physically completely healthy. Trust and harmony in my relationship with my pet is a sign of a happy life. I am learning to help myself and other people who care for animals to be a healthy person.

Fantastic experience: Great selection and friendly staff

Negative experience: Went a couple weeks ago to buy 2 dog crates. Associate was helpful and told me they only had one and she would order another that would arrive in a couple days and that she would call me the day it was due to arrive either way…a couple days came and went, no call. Coincidentally I was walking by a few days later and popped in to see what happened..the associate told me the unit was on back order but it would arrive in the next couple days..she said she would call also. Another couple days went by and no call again…at this point two weeks had transpired from my initial visit…gave up and ordered the exact same unit from Amazon and it arrived next day. Way better pet stores in the area, will not go back.

Fantastic experience: I had a chance to visit this store 2 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by the helpful staff and especially Dani, who answered all of our pet needs questions and even even donated food for the rescue dogs and cats that we are taking care of. Great store and exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. I visit this store often, and I always get attentive service and sensible advice on petfood products. During another visit a few weeks ago while Dani, my go to person, was getting my order ready I had a chance to have a better notice of the live rabbits, birds and fish on display which were waiting for their forever home. They were well cared for and were enjoying the food and the attention from the shopppers and their kids. The smiles from the shoppers and their kids while they were looking at the animals were worth seeing. This is a pet store with a heart.

Fantastic experience: Best service of life! We had no experience with Frenchies until we took one in for a family friend. The staff helped us change her diet and find supplements that have made her so much healthier and saved us so much in vet bills. Amazing advice and also respect price points. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. They special order a single bag of my cat’s food every few months just for me (or rather, for my cat). Seriously amazing customer service and care. Love them; highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Beside store and products, I would like to specify thanks 2 ladies who we’re working on Friday October 6th. 2023 evening. I left my valet there, with all my IDs, cash etc in. Recognized 2 hrs later and as soon as I called the shop, they verified me by my driver license in my valet and confirmed the valet is there, I went back and picked it up. I Do Really appreciate. They are super nice and responsible. They both made me feel really good knowing there are good people out there. Thank you again to both of you ladies

Fantastic experience: Not my usual pet store but I was passing by today and decided to go in. My elderly dog has not been interested in the kibble we've been trying so I asked a staff member their recommendation and after a quick discussion I was ringing up the new bag. Just got home and poured him a bowl... Immediate love! Thanks so much you guys!

Negative experience: Great store until I saw the poor solo live rabbit for sale for Easter, I dropped everything and asked the woman staff to relay that I refuse to shop there anymore. She batted her 2" eyelashes and was totally perplexed as to why I felt that way.
