Fantastic experience: Our 3-year-old loved the touch tanks and seeing the variety of marine life. It's a very nice set up with a lot of information. I appreciated the stools so that my daughter could see better and there were towels to dry your hands. There are also two clean public washrooms and picnic tables outside. Another bonus was a short boardwalk to a little beach behind the aquarium.

They took their time with you and you didn’t feel as they were rushed. We had a very personal and informative visit! My son and I absolutely loved it and before we even left , he asked to go back! A gorgeous community housing a lovely building with excellent displays of local, native ocean species complete with live speciments and touch tanks. Great hands on experiences for young and old alike. A very knowledgeable staff. I learned a great deal. Also a lovely gift shop selling several locally made art and crafts!

Fantastic experience: Amazing finding, a jewel! I have to say, the community of Champney did a wonderful job. Thank you Daniel for taking the time to show us everything. The open tanks give us the opportunity to experience specimens of the region, also little cameras and microscope to see specimens up close. We love it!

Fantastic experience: We stumbled upon this gem an aquarium. We went with our children ages 7 and 10. This place is very charming with touch tanks featuring local sea creatures and guides to provide you with interesting facts. There's also a pebble beach in the back great for skipping stones. The aquarium also sells a variety of prints from some local artists. Champney's is definitely worth the five minute detour off highway 230. Thank you, Valerie.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of fish and crustaceans to see. All the tanks are well spaced and the staff are willing and knowledgeable to help out. Two touch tanks are also a great hit for the kids.

Fantastic experience: We showed up too early to see the exhibits but the place looked really nice from the outside. Also, if you plan to visit here you should also plan on doing some pretty run down roads because this place is a bit off the beaten path.
